Flavourless chicken, water tasting coleslaw, chips weren't even hot.
Order red rooster for my partner myself and our son, cost $64 through uber, tried through app but it would allow me too. Anyways, I am left really saddened knowing that my partner payed that much for basically something that is ready for bin, also waited an hour and a half almost for it to come and not be full happy and satisfied like we should be
Because no one here would eat any of it. I'm really annoyed aswell at the treatment I got when I tried to report it last night, so I could if made other options for mY children to eat some more phone,
Not product but the nature of some staff at butler red rooster
I was sitting outside of red rooster eating my rooster rolls in my car waiting for a KFC worker and red rooster worker to take back to yanchep at 8pm to 9.30pm tonight the 7th of November.
2 people in the corner booth one a young female teen and the other male looked early 20s. Making out for about 40 minutes under a blanket.
I've seen them working in there before so I know they are staff. They walked into the toilet together as you can see through the window on the outside.
Staff shouldn't be fratenising in the workplace and shouldn't be hanging around for hours if they are not working at the time. Management needs to sort it out because it's one of the worst stores in western Australia at the moment. The only 4 and 5 by star review are from friends of people that work there.
Some staff have been vaping in the store and on occasion when I am waiting to take people home I have to use the toilet and I get a woft of smoke.
Desired outcome: New rules in the workplace . No phones in the working food prep area. No vaping in the food prep area . Smoking should be prohibited in and relationships in the workplace prohibited
Daughters dismal due to Duty Manager error and Disrespectful Staff
To whom it may concern
My daughter has just been let go due to incompetent staff members who are meant to be mentors. My daughter had previously left RR and was re-hired on probation. (She had left to peruse other work but the fit wasn’t right). RR Forrestfield were happy to take her back returned to RR and all was well. We actually appreciated the gesture as at 15 and with commitments, it was hard to find a job that could be flexible. However, she has recently had a staff bully her, trying to tell her how to do a task she is quite capable of and last week she had an altercation with the store manager Ravi (Forrestfield store WA) yelling at her and she received a warning for slamming the door. Also that week she had asked the Duty Manager (DM) Luke, to find a replacement for her shift which she could not attend due to an appointment. This information was provided to the DM with more than enough time to find a replacement. The DM apparently could not find a replacement which we understand, however HE neglected to INFORM my daughter which lead to the Store Manger telling my daughter that he was going to take it as a ‘now show’ and she would get yet another warning which he then told her all her future shifts would be revoked. When I got on the phone and spoke with the Manager regarding this matter he was both rude and obnoxious, yelling and screaming at me and yes I screamed back. How dare they be so disrespectful! I then reiterated that my daughter had told the DM she needed to find a replacement and had NOT let her know. He insisted it was her responsibility. Again I tried to make him understand that if the DM should have atleast let her know and then we could have cancelled the appointment. He then proceeded to yell and talk over the top of us, disrespecting both myself and my daughter with his anger.
As of her next shift which was today, her employment was terminated and when I rang the DM to speak to him he also spoke over the top of me and then eventually hung up on me. I am actually disgusted with both managers behaviours in this matter. Regardless of the situation, speaking to people in the manner they did was unnecessary and unprofessional!
Will look at taking this further and speaking to HR on Monday.
Desired outcome: Mangers should be re-evaluated on how to speak to customers and staff at the least if not stood down for incompetence which led to my daughters termination!
Flayva tender wrap delivered via uber 11 september 2022
On the evening of 11 September 2022 at approximately 9.12pm I had a delivery to 17 Trendall Way, Oran Park of a flayva tender wrap that usually has TWO pieces of chicken in it.
I received a notification that my food was on it's way, I was very hungry so I watched as the Uber driver, Joel sat there on the premises of Red Rooster at Camden Valley Way, Gregory Hills for approximately five minutes before leaving with my food. When I opened the wrap up it seemed normal. However halfway down I started feeling like my mouth was burning and so was my tongue and throat area all the way down into my stomach area. I inspected the roll and I noticed that there were TWO EXTRA tenders stuck at the bottom of the roll which I have had often as Red Rooster is the ONLY fast food I actually eat these days and this and the rippa roll are my regular favourites. I was alarmed and being a very advanced spiritual being and psychic I worked out my food was tainted. I threw the food away, I have healed myself internally as much as possible however the ONLY reason why I am bringing this to your attention is that I have contacted the Police last night about this incident and tonight going personally through the drive thru at Hungry Jack's at Gregory hills had my food poisoned.
I am lucky to be alive right now according to the higher beings of light I communicate with and I do not want there to another case of this and as a person who worked at McDonald's as a teenager myself I would recommend you do background checks on the people you hire as there seems to be an issue in this area in particular with teenagers messing with people's food to help the bikie groups who are currently trying to kill me. Are these kids being paid by the criminals hiring them to put foreign liquids in people's food? My fingers smell like a diluted vinegar after touching the chips I purchased and ate some of, from Hungry Jack's tonight... that is NOT normal for chips from takeaway.. unless you are putting chemicals in your salt or the oils you use? I am certain that it is not the fast food establishments that are the problem, just the standard of human's you are currently hiring to work for you.

Food quality
We have Red Rooster, 1-2 times a month from the Mildura VIC store. Services is always amazing. We have found that the Mildura store has been short notice closed after 5pm unable to access for takeaway food.
Last night 7/9/22, we had our usual take away order, fried chicken prices were very dry and had a funny/ funky smell and weird taste. Which was so bad unable to eat after first bite. Chicken was clearly very old/cold/not fit for eating. Was completely inedible. Need to stop passing old food off as being able to eat.
As stated above we do have this food 1-2 times a month and have never had an issue before. This is our first ever complaint.
Resolution would be a refund for the meals that were not able to be eaten due to poor quality of food & unable to eat. Take away food is an expensive luxury and one we won’t be repeating for a while now due to this experience.
Desired outcome: As above refund of food. Regular meal and burger box.
Unfair dismissal after being sexually harassed
My 15 yr old daughter has been an employee of Red Rooster for about 4 months. She has been really enjoying her job after having a bad year with her mental health due to a variety of things including losing her Grandpa.
It recently came to my attention that a couple of her co workers had been sexually harassing her at work and being young and new to employment she did not speak to a supervisor but only told her boyfriend and a coworker.
An argument and psychical fight between the two young men and her boyfriend occurred off site and my daughter was not involved. One of the young men then had his step father chase down my daughter’s boyfriend in his car and punch and threaten his life. The step father also entered into Red Rooster and verbally abused the Senior staff member on at the time and demanded my daughter be fire.
My daughter reached out to contact her supervisor about the situation to discuss further as she was not present at the time of the altercation. She did not receive a reply.
I then entered the premises and spoke with the Manager who assured me that my daughter had not lost her job and that all parties involved had been cut back to one shift a week.
Late that night my daughter received an email asking her to complete a survey as she was no longer an employee. I called to inquire what was going on and was told I would receive a call from the Manager. The following day I had still received no contact so I called into the premises and was told that my daughter had been fired. With no explanation other than her boyfriend being involved in the fight. When I asked if the other two young men involved were no longer employed I was told that one had been fired due to another incident.
This has been a terrible experience for my daughter and all it has taught her is that she shouldn’t say anything to anyone next time someone sexually harasses her or she will lose her job.
I am extremely disappointed in the way Red Rooster has handled the situation and we have submitted a formal assault charge on the co workers step dad.

Refund issue
I used app to order chicken 24 Aug 2022.
When I got there they told me its busy time 7:30pm? we have to wait half hour so waited 30 minutes then I went to counter asked where is our food they reply back oil is now heating up? we have to wait more. I told them to refund. They told me it might takes 5 days to refund. But still no responce at all.
I called yesterday to the shop. They even did not know.
2x catering orders
We ordered 1 catering Bundle from your bull creek store to collect sat 27th at 5.30. We then called the store to add to order from 10 o’clock Saturday, they answered but hung up strait away then I finally got to chat to a male but very unhelpful. Told me it was going to cost more to order that what it did, then I asked why said because other was done online and not on phone so I said so if I order on line it will be cheaper, oh I guess so. I ordered for 5.30 collection. When we got there to collect them which was just before 5.30 we were told another 5 to 10 mins waiting on second part of order, then again another 5 to 10mins for chips so in all this order was over 20 minutes later than collection time. We were on a tight schedule as it was to feed performers in their break for a production show. The male there was extremely rude also. My boss also tried calling this store to see what issue was and hung up on calling 2 times. This is our second issue from your bill creel store last time it was delivered late because driver got lost. Not a good way to keep customers.

The manager at Logan central don’t know his name but it is a man
23 august 2022 at around 10:30 am I went to the store and bought 2 $5 lunch boxes and started driving home which is down the road only to realise my food is cold and not hot I ring I ask to get it replaced because it is cold and they reckon they will replace the chips but not the chicken becoz apparently it was just fresh out of the oven which was a load of [censored] I get back there to the drive thru and ask to have the whole thing replaced and not just the chips the girl at the window says hang on I will just ask my manager and she walks to him which I can clearly see from the drive thru window and her manager grabs the bag and chucks it in the bin like a child having a tantrum and in front of us like he wanted us to know he was pissed I think that was a bit rude I think there was no need for that and it made me feel like they thought I was lying all I want is good service and good hot food and my moneys worth I don’t normally complain but I think the manager there needs a bit of a talking to about his attitude and also once they gave me the fresh new hot food they have the cheek to say that is fresh and hot and if u bring it back again there is nothing we more we can do about it I think the girl and the manager that day both need a talking to for there attitude and customer service

My meal i got today
18th August got my meal about 10.45 am from the Wodonga store .I ordered 2 $5 meals and a small gravy useing my rewards card to pay for them .I orded both of the to have the leg part of the chicken . When i went home only 1 had the leg the other was the wing ,also my chips where not fresh my husbands where but not mine .Also the chicken was so dry could not even use the fork to eat it .It was very diapointing as the food is usually very nice there .The only part i enjoy of my meal was the gravy

Your English is poor. Sadly, if they cannot understand you, they cannot get your order right. The only way you are going to get a full refund is if you return the food.
Why you can’t get advertising chicken meals
I am so disappointed of my local red rooster in pakenham. Every time you advertise a new product I go to my local red rooster I am always told oh we don’t sell that product at this store, I just don’t know why when you advertise it you should have it at all stores, the last time I got the hot honey chicken, I went down to my local rr I was told we don’t have this at this store because a staff member is allergic to it, I have been put off going to any red rooster, I think I will stick to kfc in future, I am just fed up how you can advertise and can’t get the product. It is ridiculous.
Family meal
On friday the 12/8/22 roughly around 530pm my partner stop in after work and got us a rooster feed with 4 pineapple fritters on the side. Around $42 at Forest lake red rooster
Chips were cold, corns and pineapple fritters were burnt.
Ask for cravy, we got potato and cravy
Chicken wasn’t great

1/4 chicken & chips
-Size of the chicken leg received was very and very over cooked, More bones the meat. The chip where under cooked and way to much salt. No sugar Coke was cold and correct size.
Red Box
-Burger, the chicken in side the bun covered less than half the bun. There was way to much sauce (more sauce the chicken) which made the bun soggy and fall apart. Rest of meal good. No sugar Coke was cold and correct size.
Second time I have eaten meals from this Red Rooster and will now be the last Red Rooster I will eat.
Total cost for both meals $23,70. Results for the cost - more rubbish that qly and size of meal.

Was waiting in drive thur for someone to take my order half an hour late I say hello to know response but then see a young lady look out the window, waited for a extra 2 mins still nothing! For me to drive off. To then call the store and ask why and then the lady tried to justify that she was not wearing a headset and was asking someone in the store if there was an ordered, to then tell me that backer house had headsets on but was cleaning, to then me asking why didn't they answer me when i said hello? To then having another person get on the home and ask me what the problem is as he has been taking orders all night perfectly fine. To then lying through his teeth that he answered me back! When he did not answer! To then tell me that the only reason why they didn't take my order is because they don't wont to and don't care about what the outcome of not taking my order!
Chicken
Last week I purchased a cooked chicken from your Warwick WA store for $13.95. I didn’t look at it until I got home, although I thought it didn’t look
Very big in the bag. When I took it out of the bag, I was shocked at the size of
it. It was very small, more the size of a bantam chicken. It was no bigger than a can of cool drink. The wishbone was that small, my husband and I couldn’t get both our small fingers in it.
We have been buying your chickens for many years, and this is not the first time
I have been given a small chicken.
I just thought I would bring it to your attention this time.

Customer service
I was recently at your Palmerston restaurant and was treated like trash in front of my children. I went through drive through and was made to wait in the car park for 25 minutes for my order, meanwhile my one year old was screaming, sweating and crying while your staff served all the customer who where behind me in the line first. When I questioned your staff as to why they where serving people who I was in front of before me I was spoken to like I'm a clown by the young 16 boy cashier and when I growled at him and said you don't ever argue with a PAYING customer I was yelled out by the manager of the stall in a very intimidating loud tone who was also a 16 year old boy. I also work customer service and if I spoke to a customer the way your staff treated me tonight I would be fired on the spot! I'm a single hard working mother and do not appreciate being spoke to or intimidated by to young men it's not good enough and I will be never using red rooster again and will be advising all my friends, family and colleges to not to eat at red rooster Palmerston and will be posting my experience on social media aswell. EXTREMELY UNHAPPY WITH RR!

The food
We went to Res Rooster Gladstone Qld 4680 and they mucked up our order. The first time they forgot onion rings on the BBQ Bacon burger, the second time I asked for butter wings instead of the fried chicken but they gave me fried chicken, also on the second time they forgot the BBQ sauce on the BBQ Bacon burger.
This time, our third time, they forgot the Bacon on the BBQ Bacon burger. It is quite disappointing.
Desired outcome: Keep in mind we spent $50ish the first time, $70 the second and this time $84 dollars. You need to fix this. I got a very disappointed finance now.
Service and store company
this is regarding Red rooster at Shore St W & Delancey Street, Cleveland QLD 4163 Cleveland on a Saturday evening. 16 th July 2022.
I am not sure what was happening My wife and I had just finished picking up some plants from that area.
I thought we would call in to get some red rooster which I must say your crunchy Red rooster is a million times better than KFC and I have told everybody that the tastes much much better and it also it's so much healthier a lot less grease.
So as a treat we went inside to order and thought we would sit down and just relax.
As soon as we walked in there was very loud music that was deferently not family appropriate music. So we immediately thought we would just buy our food and take it home with us.
The second thing we found was that as My wife is very allergic and can smell cigarette and vapes smoke for a miles. She said somebody is vaping in here I thought it would just be a customer being stupid but it was coming from the cooking area.
It was if the people at the back were having a big party you could smell alcohol aswell not sure whether it went through the chicken or not plus they were vaping out there so the smell and taste of the food it may of went through it
The only people I felt sorry for were the young cashiers girls who were trying to listen to customers at the counter and in the drive-thru.
To get their orders right and from the conversations I was hearing from ir ate customers I am guessing that may have been harder than it should have been.
I am sure you have received many of these reports but then again a lot of people just walk out and never come back. I feel I needed to let you know as a person who used to run a retail store for many years I think the owner would of been in total shock. I know we were and as you may have guessed we left and went and bought Red rooster from our Forest lake store which was a lot quieter

Nugget
I just went to the Red rooster in Dubbo and I'm very disappointed as I watched one of the cooks pull my chicken nuggets out with their bare hand and they were very dirty I couldn't say anything due to having small children in the car and also not wanting to upset somebody with a disability I live not even 3 minutes away I got back home and my nuggets were cold unedible even know I would not have it them anyways due to the very unhygienic way of getting them out I'm very disappointed and if this is not resolved will take the matter further my email is [protected]@gmail.com I will be waiting a reply

Red rooster at ascot vale , I complain about the raw chicken but Daniel the manager refused to refund my meal , he said only for the chicken but I didn’t want the whole meal because I felt discussed, the service is terrible!
