I went into red rooster at currimundi a week ago and asked the staff member for a chicken burger and stated that I wanted a crunchy one. The female staff member recommended a burger. It was horrible, soft no crunch and looked very unappetising. I contacted your complaints department however had to leave a message as no answer. I'm still awaiting return call. I returned to the Currimundi store today and requested to speak to the manager. He stated his name was Ali, after I asked for it. He was leaning against a wall when I arrived and neither himself or the young staff member were working or had any customers either through driveway or in store. The store was dirty as was the clothes of Ali. I advised what had happened the week before and stated that I wanted a crunchy burger. At no time did I state that I wanted it for free. I stated that I came in a week ago and had not received a crunchy burger. Ali was rude, laughing at me and encouraging the young female to join in. He told me to return tomorrow. I have worked in customer service most of my life and if is the example your senior staff are showing their young members you are in TROUBLE with your future of red rooster. I left store however returned to take a photo of him as he would not give his surname or company number to identify him. He then laughed and asked for my name which I stated like him I didn't have it. I am 65 years old and this issue could have been solved easily, with respect and dignity towards YOUR client instead it has lead to me phoning your complaints department Very upset and distressed, leaving messages as no one answers. Now here I am writing to you. Is this the way you training is going? Is this what you represent? Distressing and being rude and encouraging younger staff to do the same. Why was the place so dirty if no one was there? Couldn't they have been cleaning instead of relaxing? Why are your people so RUDE? I have included 2 photos as this was all I could take as Ali stated he was going to call the police. Yes, my complaint about a crunchy burger lead Ali to threaten me with the police. Social media is my next step.
Desired outcome: An apology in writing from Ali and for red rooster to spend time retraining him in customer service. And a crunchy burger
