Virtual office
I signed up for a “virtual office” with regus. In October 2021 I spoke to a regus agent informing her that I did not want to renew a long term contract as I only needed mail forwarding for an unknown time period. She advised that the mail forwarding service was a month to month service. The monthly bills always varied despite the quoted monthly pricing, which no one at regus could ever explain. After February, 2022, I no longer was receiving forwarded mail from regus. I was informed by clients who were sending mail that the mail was being returned to them. I spoke with the regus agent Jennifer who said there just hadn’t been any mail. By August 2022, I contacted Regus and advised them to cancel all services immediately. The woman Jennifer I spoke with admired that the mail that was supposed to be forwarded was being returned. She advised that she would send me confirmation of the termination of services. She never did. Instead I kept receiving invoices. They chanted the phone number so the contact I had used for several years was out of service. I then started receiving collections notifications. The guest agency didn’t respond to any of my correspondence. Nor did regus. They just kept sending invoices. Yet another collection agency has contacted me by mail but when I called the representative could not provide any information about the account or amount requested. I spoke with a manager Jacklyn Brown who was of no help and just said Jennifer no longer works here and there is a new manager at the location so they can’t help you. I asked her to provide copies if their documents but she would not. She did provide me with her manager’s phone number and email. His name is John Carey. His voicemail has jo identification that it’s his voicemail. I emailed him regarding all of this and await his response.
Desired outcome: I want copies of all documents and calls with regus in relation to my account. I want all fees waived and a refund for fees paid from Feb 2022 forward.

Virtual Office
No option for early termination. All they send is a "Courtesy reminder" for a two year contract without shame and auto-renew it without consent. I called their location (center) to ask about options for early termination. This is the first time I am calling them in two years holding their VO, and no one picked up the call, even after selecting "Urgent" on...

My apologies as this email contains complains regarding Spaces in Calabasas, California.
Here are the events that happened:
1. December I inquired of the fees for virtual address, [edited] was the representative that I was able to talk to. What she shared was a $85 of month to month fee. That was the only number conveyed to me and no other information such as activation fee and double charges.
2. A few weeks later, I finally decided to sign up online of a promo for a month to month which was $79 not $85 of which I was quoted. I signed up and finally had my virtual address on December 28.
3. Two days after I received double charges to my account, I tried to reach out to [edited] but no reply to my email.
4. I raised this concern, I paid $79 in advance and I was charged again even if there was only barely a week that I am with spaces. [edited] replied and mentioned to me that these are the charges. Which was disappointingly not clear as I ahven't even consumed my first month.
5. I sent another email but no reply again, then I called. A new manager answered and promised to get back to me for the details and how to resolve it but no calls. I waited and still nothimg.
6. An invoice came of the activation fee of which again I was not told about and not mentioned in the online registration site. I disputed and still no one answered.
7. ANother invoice came from collections threatening me of the balance that I was not even aware where these numbers are coming from. I disputed this to [edited] and he said he is going to investigate. After a few days of thinking over, I decided to terminate the virtual address as it was obviously a bad business relationship. Until now no one has answered my email nor called back regrading my dispute and sadly I received another invoice.
8. It has been causing me so much inconvenience and distress. I'm sorry to say but that office are consist of very inefficient staff that do not care about their customers.
I kindly ask for your assistance in this. I appreciate you reading this.
Desired outcome: Terminate the Virtual business address, cancel the invoices that I was not even aware where these numbers are coming from. Compensation for my distress, this has been happening since last week of December.
This case is certainly not resolved. They want me to still stay with them despite my desire of not doing business with this company. They want me to pay 24 months, pay the activation and fee of which these were not disclosed when I called their representative. This is beyond words disappointing.
Lauren,
I appreciate this long explanation but unfortunately this was not the case. I initially called to gather information and these numbers were not discussed in the call. As I have previously mentioned, I have emailed Spaces Calabasas but it takes them weeks to reply. It started December and now its March and its still not resolved until now. These long explanation you stated here just to save Regus' business is not whats happening in your offices. And I highly suggest you look at it closely.
For sure I have been sending emails for 2 weeks, and no response, I signedup for a service at $90.00 and now they are charging me $115.00 for mail forwarding, and I did not signup for that, There is no response for over 2 weeks now, this place does not seem to treat the customers right at all. Its like a one big scam, I get emails randomly that say, thanks for signing up for additional service. I have never logedin or signedup for anything additional, they sent me those like 5 times in last 2 months, I have no idea what this place is doing !
missold contract
I was missold a contract telling me i can cancel anytime, only to be told i signed a contract that does not allow you to cancel, when walking through the office they told me any desk is available after contract signed only a few desks were available, I have a witness who was at the contract signing with me. this is fraudulent, getting someone to purchase a product, also some expnses told were not even declared to me and few months back i was told that my complaint was passed on to someone but since then late payment fees have been adding up. absolutely fraudulent.
Desired outcome: terminate contract from when I told them i would like to cancel. with no further charges other than cancellation fee which is what i was told.

Not returning my returner back after claim 2 Months already passed
Hello my account name is Alpha Forex Mauritius with account number [protected]
I am based in Regus Mauritius Port Louis which was perviously at Medine Mews and then they had a location shift to Port Louis downtown at Happy World building.
I was offered the choice to not resume my contract because of the location shift to which I accepted and paid all relative expenses associated to my pervious invoice.
However now I am experiencing two problems
(1) My retainer have been decreased without my notice from a figure to another figure which is beyond my understanding and whoever in charge in Mauritius.
(2) It has been already two months + nearly 3 since I have send my bank details and still no response about a potential date in which I expect to receive my retainer.
Could you please assist?
I remain avaliable by mail at [protected]@gmail.com
Thanks
Desired outcome: Refund of the retainer.
Please note that I am still awaiting for the refund of my ratainer and regus says they keep omitting it from the books.

Agreement and termination of services (24 hours of signing and then 5 days prior to start date)
Requested to terminate the agreement & services, within 24 hours of signing. We cannot submit documents that Regus is requesting. I have told Regus that I can show ID at their local office in PA. Regus had disrupted services with my virtual office and for months fell on deaf ears after numerous. This had caused extensive and irreparable financial damage to my company.
I will be seeking restitution to offset the financial loss I have incurred by Regus negligence and failure to perform.
I would avoid this company like the plague as they are truly horrible.

Poor customer service from Bangkok Area manager [edited]
Bangkok, Thailand is here.
Our office rental fee was increased by 20% and we were not informed in advance. We called and Regus's Area Manager [edited] told us that they sent us an email (which they send very often about city traffic, holidays etc. so noone opens them) and our contract was extended automatically and can not be canceled. I think if you increase the fee that much you have make sure your customer is aware by calling them and not sending Spam-like messages. When we asked how we could cancel the rental contract she said we should go to court and hang up the phone. When we called back she didn't even pick up.
Desired outcome: We want to make sure Regus International will read this message and find the way to inform the lady [edited] that it is unacceptable to have this kind of conversation with your customer.

REGUS is a huge RED flag!
It's been a huge mistake to ever have considered having anything to do with this terrible company called Regus! I signed up for a virtual office at Regus Milton Keynes Midsummer Court on the 1/02/2019. I cancelled my contract on the 10/02/2020 and recieved a confirmation stating that the agreement will end on the 29/02/2020. Regus continued to unlawfully debit my bank account until 2022! I found out this unscrupulous activity during my financial audit and contacted the Regus team. The contract date was over and confirmed but debits were still being made. Regus accepted their fault and promised to refund a total sum of 1.538.11GBP
I got a response by Mr N on 18/07/22 confirming that the refund has been made to my bank account.
There was no payment. I chased and chased. I recieved an email on 20/10/22 stating the refund has been made and on 9/11/22 stating that the refund has been actioned. No payment. My last correspondence yesterday was with another staff who came up with some more creative lies such as the "bank account details provided is not correct". I have insisted that the bank account detail is the same as the one they had debited. This is the 8th month of active monthly calls and email correspondence. However I am yet to receive my refund. I will strongly advise anyone who chooses to learn from my lessons to avoid this company. Safeguard your self and hard earned money. I have all the evidences to prove my claim and will stop at NOTHING to ensure my money is paid. Kindly assist with this issue as its obvious that they are intentionally trying to avoid a repayment.
Desired outcome: Pay up my money

Horrible staff Rosie and Michelle Nicely
Rosie and Michelle in Coventry, UK at The Quadrant, are very disrespectful staff, incompetent and rude. Both ridicule Asians and White people as they are blacks. Will lose customers and they will oust the Area Dierctors and Managers in a ruthless calculated assault.
They are only Receptionists and very lowly ones at that, who can't even spell, but tout job titles like Managers. The Asian girls and white girls employed have far superior Management qualities.
Saw Rosie, the fat black, steal huge amount of sugar sachets and PG teas into her handbag and she dropped what appeared like expensive coffee capsules which she grabbed and put into her overcoat. Disgraceful conduct throughout.
Desired outcome: Obvious!
Overbilling & mixing up accounts with other regus suite renters
I am sure there have been some accounting errors and I understand erring is human, but these continual accounting errors and mistakes are unacceptable.
I have never rented but one suite at a time but I have received a letter from an attorney billing me for a suite that I have never rented so they must have my account mixed up with another tenant in that suite at Regus and it does not state my actual old suite number that they are collecting. They are collecting on a suite I never occupied or received keys to that another Tenant occupied and apparently didn't pay? Apparently auto-renewing caused some double billing as there was an error but I am paid in full on my old suite prior to transferring to a new suite but last month there was an error showing that Regus actually owed me +$8700. But the manager, Janessa, assured me she was getting that corrected. I have been patient waiting for the error to be corrected since Dec. 1st, 2022, (60 days now) I asked the manager at Regus Beverly Hills multiple time to call the collection attorney and let them know about the error so they can take me off their collection list and restore my old suite account back to the zero balance that it was upon renting my new suite DEC.1, 2022.
Additionally, just as you would if someone were falsely accusing you, I take false accusations and collection threats seriously as this is my future credit and finances at stake with those accounting errors and I will not tolerate anyone threatening to jeopardize my credit history.
These bully billing practices are outside the arbitration agreement and I feel there will be lawsuits resulting if these over billing issues continue to occur as Regus is committing a form of extortion and harassment and causing great emotional stress and harm to clients by labeling tenants as non-payers when they have been over billed and incorrectly billed. I do not wish to interact with their attorney personally and asked their collections' attorney to allow the manager to resolve this with them. If I have to hire an attorney, I will seek compensation for legal expenses and damages, as well as loss of time/income.
Most importantly, Time is money and I do not appreciate anyone wasting my time. Time is the one thing in your life that once it is spent or wasted, you can NEVER get it back. I am insisting that they not waste my time and to take it up with the Regus manager and accounting to get their errors corrected ASAP.
Desired outcome: restore my zero balance before the accounting errors of Dec 1st 2022 and remove my account from billing collections and attorneys.

Hidden Lease Renewal
When you have renewing lease you have the responsibility to get a confirmation from the client as you know very well emails overwhelm everyones inbox. This is not a an app where you get a monthly auto renew this is a ONE year lease agreement and you need to get a confirmation. Yes you can bury it in your lease agreement and yes you can claim you sent an email but it is very shady to force someone to a one year lease because they didn't see an email when a simple docusign or other confirmation is enough. I have a virtual office and you are doing the same shady practice with me. We all know the elephant in the room is this is Regus practice as they know this will slide past people and they can force the year on them. Once again very shady practice and not acceptable aside from the fact I literally NEVER used this virtual office not even one single time.
Desired outcome: I expect my hidden automatic year lease renewal to be cancelled
Michelle, Regus has very misleading terms and conditions, which clearly states to check the box to indicate that you agree to the terms and conditions, not automatic annual renewal.
Also, I had over 3 months of disconnected services in the beginning, which I complained about to admin that fell on deaf ears and have maintained records to provide to an attorney if need be. This financially and negatively impacted our company.
Misleading contract and unacceptable service interruptions are going to be more than enough for should Regus want to fight. I would rather you take care of this.

Office security
We have a smart board in our office, and on the 16th of January we arrived at our office to find that we had been locked out due to too many password attempts being entered. Seeing as all our staff know the password and the board had not been wiped down (ruling out accidental inputs), it appeared that someone had tried to access it out of hours.
We immediately started changing our device passwords and contacted both Regus reception and the district manager to inform them of our concerns and requested solutions. We were met with very dismissive responses from the manager essentially telling us that they disagreed there was a security breach and 'Regus had done nothing wrong'.
It was clear from our email conversation that we were not being taken seriously, which made the whole security issue all the more concerning. There are no CCTV cameras along the corridor to our office, so there was no proof from Regus there. I then brought up other issues that we had encountered during our tenancy, such as our office door being left open by the cleaning staff all night, maintenance delays, cleaning issues etc. After casually discussing the instance with other business in the building, it appears we were not the only ones to have faced issues such as these. For example, doors have been left open, credit cards stolen, etc, so security is clearly an ongoing issue within the building.
We have requested to end our contract early as we feel that our data is no longer safe in the office that we pay for. However, this has now been met with radio silence from the manager. We don't want to have to proceed down the legal route, but we will if this issue cannot be resolved promptly.
Desired outcome: We would like to end our contract early with no penalties or payment obligations.
This has not been resolved. I sent an email to the address specified in the Regus reply and was told the case would be passed on to a more local team. I have not heard anything since this time though.
In the meantime, our office appears to have not been noticeably cleaned since we made the complaint. Some staff members were in the office until around 11:30pm one day last week and nobody even attempted to stop by. The bins also used to be changed on a daily basis, but this stopped instantly when our concerns were raised.
We have heard from the reception staff that our contact at Regus (who was dismissive to our concerns) has since moved locations, but otherwise we have received no communication. We would like to get this resolved as soon as possible and require help from the Regus team with this.

Membership.
I was a tenant at Atterbury Lakes in Milton Keynes from November 2021 - December 2022.
When my tenancy ended on the 31st October, I asked [edited], if I was able to sign a 2 month extension to contract to take us until 31st DEC. I told him I had secured a new office elsewhere and was moving out, but there was an 8 week gap that I would like to stay for.
He informed me my best choice, was to sign a 12 month agreement (that was my option), then I would be able to cancel my subscription after 30 days, meaning it would end after 60 days.
We discussed this on the phone, face to face and by email.
Now, 30 days after when the contract should have been cancelled. I am being told that actually it's not possible to cancel the contract. Apparently the wrong contract was sent with a different cancellation policy.
It is very clear the contract was either deliberately mis-sold with the intention of fraudulently extracting money from my business, or it was a mistake.
Either way, the responsibility doesn't sit with me under any circumstances.
Desired outcome: Cancel my agreement immediately.

Virtual office space rental
Regus took the money off my card for an activation fee and the first month of service. A week later the transaction was completed disappeared from my account without the money being returned. They informed me that the transaction was still pending after a few weeks and didn’t know what was going on with the payment. But In the meantime, that I needed to make the payments including the payment for the following month if I wanted my account with them to remain active, while they supposedly investigate for weeks to see what happened to the initial payments. At this point, I realize how atrocious and seemingly fraudulent their business practices are and requested to opt out of their service. Then I was informed that isn’t possible without paying a fee of surplus over 1 grand for cancellation, Absolutely absurd. They’re still tryna to see what happened to the disappeared payment they received over a month ago.
Desired outcome: Refunded and Compensated for Disruptions of my business operations and unprofessionalism

Agreement Termination
I contacted Regus at the location where I had rented virtual office to cancel my agreement as I was shutting down the business. I cancelled the bank account and 2 years later I found out they kept renewing my contract and kept hitting me with monthly fee and late fee charges.
I asked the lady at the front to explain how agreement cancelation works and she asked for my company name opened it up on her system and said she will go ahead and cancel it so I don't get charged next month.
Two years later here I am trying to figure out what to do with this $1000 debt. I wouldn't call the company bad as I haven't had any issues with the service for the time I was with them but some of the employees who do not have proper knowledge and after sending an email received the basic response that I should have read the agreement and fine print.
If your employee made a mistake own up to it and provide a solution.
Desired outcome: Please waive the extra charges and the fee. If you look into the account I did not use the service from my renewal date because a. I closed the company. b. I was under the impression that the service had been cancelled as per my request.
