Regus Invoice padding/fraud

This has been the worst first business office experience! My office from Regus is a 1 person space with no used phone lines and is fully furnished by me yet after reviewing the invoice that I first received months after I signed the contract, I found that Regus is billing me $831.94 of the1567.28 monthly for 6 pieces of furniture and 7 handsets neither of which I have in my office or have ever requested. When I disputed the invoices their response was, "that I agreed to the charges when I signed the contract". I have only been paying the portion of the invoices not in dispute and when I started that I would be retaining a lawyer I was asked to " give us some time to deal with the issue and the office staff would vert back to you" that's was in December 2021, fast forward to today & I yet to hear back from anyone, just getting the run around from the staff, they continue to bill me for the furniture and handsets every month and my services which are paid for separately of the disputed charges have now been interrupted. I've sent 4 email requests to the office staff requesting information for whom or where my attorney can forward communications and they refuse to provide me with the information. I've also sent several emails to the office staff requesting for specifics on what services are being withheld, and also no response, mind you, I've paid for all other services, the only thing Im disputing & haven't paid is the portion of the bill that pertains to the 6 pieces of furniture and 7 handsets.

Desired outcome: Refunded overbilled charges and released from contract

Regus Fixed desk

On 18th of April, I arrived early to my appointment so I could sign up and get on my meeting later that afternoon on ethernet for a zoom meeting. My card was charged but I missed halfthe meeting and was only able to go online with a meeting code. On Monday I was told I could go online by myself. I arrived half hour before 8 am to get online and the branch manager was unable to do that and asked to go home and come back when it was convenient for him or leave my work computer with him. I missed my morning check in. My job is in jeopardy. I lost 2 hrs of pay because a simple task like getting me on the network was beyond the capabilities of the branch. I called for a refund and a ticket -

C-7563952-J5X8 was opened and was told an account specialist would call within 24 hrs. It is past 48 hrs and noone has called. The branch just aske me to come in and refuses to refund. The salesperson asked me to end the agreement However I was told refund may not be possible. I am not willing to accept that. I ended the agreement the same day that I lost critical hrs. I was not well in the first place but came in for checking in as the meeting was important and was turned away by the branch with no alternative.

This feels like a scam to get people to sign up, charge their card, then blame one thing or the other to not give them the network and then when they leave just keep the money saying refund is not possible. There were 3 card transactions amounting to I think 758 or so with payments for April, May, a month's deposit, activation fee and maybe tea coffee. None of which I used. I did no use anything more than what a trial may have given. Regus put my job at risk and that cannot be changed. Please I plead, give me a refund for the trouble caused.

Desired outcome: Please refund

Regus Enterprise memberships

I wanted to transfer various co-working memberships over to enterprise which I supposedly did with the help of Roshan Uddin (no longer an employee). He then handed over to a new account manager Reham Habashy. Since then, we have had constant issues - various people are being charged for coworking when they're supposed to have accounts, I've been told someone doesn't have an account but we're getting threatening emails saying we owe money for their account. No one is coming back to me and there is no one high up I can find to speak to. The recent activity has happened today, 21st April 2022.

Desired outcome: I need someone to come back to me to confirm all accounts that were requested are officially live and can be used, and the outstanding invoices for accounts we have been told have been shut down are actually voided.

Regus National harbor 328

What a way to treat a client of over 2 years. Going up on my rent, refusing to amicably part ways when I’ve never been late on even 1 payment and have not even required cleaning of my office!? That’s because you’re changing employees with the wind and i don’t want random people in the office. I will do my best to discourage anyone I come across to avoid leasing space with this company. Super shady

Regus Regus Virtual Office

Regus is not a very efficent or professional company to work with. I have had issues with closing the accounts and am continued to be charged for something that has failed to be closed on their end. I have reached out to the account representatives and they have been the worse help ever. I also have offices with work suites for years and have NEVER had such problems. I am currently being harassed by the collections dept and need this to stop ASAP for something I do not owe.

Desired outcome: Account to be closed and balance to be cleared by Regus ASAP

Regus Website failed to terminate my lease in a timely manner

My Regus Acct # 6419896

I rented an office for 2 months (March & April, 2022). On March 28, 2022, I used the website to terminate my lease ending April 30, 2022 & the termination box was grayed out. I continued to use the website for lease termination from March 28 - April 4, 2022. April 4, 2022, Jen, the manager @ this location #2135, emailed Regus & explained the situation. That day Jen told me that the situation was resolved. Later that evening I rec’d. an email from Regus that stated my April lease wasn’t terminated & that I now had to pay through May 31, 2022.

I have emailed & called 6 times to resolve this issue & to no avail. I did everything humanly possible to terminate the lease in a timely manner but Regus’ website failed to let me terminate my lease.

My Regus complaint #:

CRM:[protected] dated April 4, 2022.

Desired outcome: Refund of deposit, termination of lease as of April 30, 2022 & not May 31, 2022

Regus Office Space

I have notified Regus/ Space that my business was no longer doing well and I would need to end my contract due to financial hardships. Regus has yet to reach out to help resolve the situation and they are now tacking on a costly late fee which has really inflated the payments I could no longer afford.

Desired outcome: I would like to terminate my contract and pay my last payment.

I'm now dealing with REGUS not wanting to cancel my VIRTUAL OFFICE agreement that went from $46 per month and halfway through the year went up to $48.21 (which I never called to complain about the few dollar increase). My payments were always set up to auto draft for the entire year. And so, I don't understand what the increase was about. In addition to...

Regus Office space and move

I was given 1 week notice to move to another office and offered free move. On 23rd December 2021 Regus Didsbury packed everything and delivered it to Regus Airport. They took out few laptops and chargers out of boxes and set them up on two desks. The small two person room was left with 6 tables and boxes. I was informed prior to move but no contact after move. During Christmas I lost connectivity to computers. I tried to contact but office closed. I paid for next 2 months. When I went to office after no connectivity to computers by end of January there was still boxes there and extra furniture and tables like it was used as store room. I was asked to pay for another month. Regus invoices are always two months ahead so I was paying for future months while no access to phones, no connectivity. I moved needed stuff to home as it was too much to fit in my car and I was not able to find some chargers and extension cables. I then started asking the contacts I had from Regus about state of my office. I gave my notice on 4th March 2022. I was then sent an invoice for April at end of March and I was told that they are trying to offer me early termination by 15th of April. I went to office as I needed access to external drive and charger for second laptop. When I opened my office none of my stuff was there. it was setup for someone else and no contact or email from either Didsbury or Airport office to notify me. I logged into my Regus app to find my team contact and I was still placed in my 4 years old office that was closed with no contact details available. I left voicemails and try to find anyone who can just give me access to my stuff so I can take a hard drive from there but no luck as it was 10pm by that time. No contact about move, shifting my stuff somewhere or setting up my office.

Desired outcome: From 23rd Dec 2021 to today I need my refund and my stuff back in the state I left it with Regus.

Regus Retainer

I started my 6 month lease last year and after three months I decided not to renew it. January was my last month and in early February I requested the retainer through the portal. I received an automated message that said the refund would take about 30 days and after this time the retainer was not refunded to me. I contacted Regus through the help icon and received a response after a few days saying that I needed to reconfirm if the retainer should be converted from ZMW to KWD as the provided account currency is in KWD.

When requesting the retainer on the portal I provided a domestic KWACHA account (the local currency of Zambia). My understanding of the email was that I had to give permission for the retainer to be converted from ZMW (don't know which currency it is) to KWD (kwacha), which I did.

I then received a reply saying that the refund would be processed on March 25 and so far it has not reflected in my bank account. Again, earlier this week, I contacted Regus through the help center (because I can't find a direct phone number or email) and have yet to receive a response.

I have been waiting since Tuesday for a reply to my email. Regus help desk is not taking this matter seriously and shouldn't keep their clients waiting for so long on such a sensitive matter. It's causing a great inconvenience and I am very displeased with the lack of communication and professionalism.

Regus Worst experience ever!

I spoke with a Regus sales rep Mr. Babcock on 2/7 and started my lease on 2/8. They charged me for one months prorated lease, a retainer, and the following month up front. I had auto pay set up but they charged me for a late fee even though auto pay was set up and valid. Then I got charged another retainer fee after I asked the sales rep multiple times to verify each charge I would be getting monthly in detail. I was moved into an office that wasn’t cleaned or painted and had to work from another office the day it got painted but I was still charged for that day of course. I’ve been charged late fees, multiple retainer fees, and random monthly fees without notice and when I asked to speak to someone they said they’d put in a ticket even though I told the person I was speaking with that I needed someone today or I would get charged again. She said there was nothing she could do. The offices I’ve been in are small and overpriced and not worth the astronomical prices they charge.

Desired outcome: Refund the charges and give me some sort of discount for the fact that you moved me into a dirty office that needed painting TWICE and that you charged me without telling me.

Wow ! Exactly what I am going through with them now. And charged me a late fee because I am not able to update my card on their system.

Regus is so unprofessional and over charge customers. I have waste so much time just going back and fourth with them.

Regus Update the price without confiming

I ordered a shared meeting room several days before I need it. Afterward, I sent an email to confirm again then I was told the price and the type of room is not right, due to an error on the website. Then the price is just updated but not asking me to accept it or not. I replied to them that I don't need the room anymore and asked for a cancellation, but I didn't get a reply. In the end, I am still be charged. When I called them, they told me their cancellation policy should be a month before use. I do not think it is reasonable that I need to pay for the bug on the website. They seem to understand and try to compensate me in some way. However, they need to confirm with the person in charge to make a decision. Now I've waited for weeks and I haven't gotten any response.

Desired outcome: I would like to get the refund

Regus Rent office Mississauga, Canada

I have been a REGUS customer for several years. I have always rented an individual office to serve my potential clients. The offices that they gave me were always well furnished with executive desks, some decoration according to the office and above all with a view of the city. Yesterday I rented an individual office in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, I expected to find an executive office, but it was not like that, they gave me an office with three small desks and about 7 chairs, it looked more like a desk and chair warehouse than a professional office. I talked to the manager and she told me that there was only that one. After insisting, I told her that I couldn't attend to a client in that office because she was surely going to lose him. The image of the office also counts to finalize business and clients. The only thing the manager found was a SMALL closed office, without a view, without decoration with a secretary's desk. I had to accept it because my client would arrive at 3 pm, but I felt so uncomfortable that I will NEVER use the office service with REGUS again.

Regus Subscription contracts

Regus is a predictor operating business that prey on their customers. I am absolutely disgusted by the way Regus formed a one sided type of contact agreement that only benefit regus alone and lawfully ruin their customers at all cost. Regus virtual office subscription contracts is deviously written and formed to chain a customer to a lease contract that basically give Regus a complete power over you as a consumer. According to Regus lease subscription contract offered to the customers Basically state that “as a consumer the only right you have when you become a customer to Regus is paying regus monthly bill and any other hidden fee Regus include in the contract.”

If you are mistreated or taken advantage or not given proper services of as a Customer Regus always have the control and final saying that you can’t cancel your service even your no longer interest to continue doing business with Regus. I had a nightmare experience with Regus I was lied to by Regus sales agent who counseled information from me and failed to tell me that I will be charged an early termination fee of $10,000.

I was told that if I don’t like the service I can end cancel the subscription contract at anytime and that was a big constructed lie.

During my first month at Regus I was denied office space use access at the center I booked the space in New York 4 times. I called regus customer support and complained the customer service are ruin and useless. Another center booked an office space locked the bathroom door so I will not use the bathroom because the receptionist wanted me to stop my work and leave the office at 5pm because the receptionist want to go home, I replied to the receptionist at the center that Regus contract I signed Stated that I can leave the office any time I want after I check in. another regus office Center charged me $800 just for printing papers which they didn’t mentioned cost an expensive fee just to print paper. When I asked why printing cost $800 they said they charge $1 per page to print but I was not swear such charge and the receptionist failed to tell me they charge printing she just helped me figure out how to print but did tell me ahead of time that there is a fee billed to me for printing. After two months of bad experience and terrible service and being mistreated as a customer I emailed Regus Requesting to end my contract and they said I can’t end my contract and I have to continue paying $500 every month weather I use the service or not for two the next two years. I called the corporate head customer service number and explained my situation and I received the same answer that there is nothing they can do for me to help and I can’t end my contract until August 2023 however we are in October 2021. I paid for the months of November 2021 and I didn’t use the service because I had enough being mistreated and taking advantage of by regus and regus center receptionist I sent Regus more than 20 Emails telling them I will no longer be an on going customer and I will not pay for any on going charge future charges monthly bill the force on me after November 2021. Regus customer support team than treated to accumulate depth on my account and than sell my account to depth collection by continuously billing me the $500 monthly charge for the next two years till August 2023. It’s been 4 months now since I canceled my membership with Regus and they still continue billing me each month as the said they would. Right now so far Regus have accumulated $4,000 depth they willingly and careless formed and forced on me. I emailed them to stop billing me I am not in possession on any physical office space I am not using any services they offered so what service is regus realy charging if they were not operating a predictor business and preying on me as a customer just because I mistakenly fall fot Regus trap and signed a contract which I was tald I have the right to can’t any time before I sign it and plus I thought I was signing a subscription online not a physical lease because I was never offered to physically be in Possession of any office space, I was never allowed to leave any of my belongings in the office space over night and I was not allowed access to the office anytime I want so I didn’t think the lease was going to be considered enforced life a commercial office space lease were I am in position of the office space. This lease was just a subscription virtual subscription therefore it make no since for Regus to continue on billing me monthly invoice for office space rent when Regus gave me no office space to occupy like a real commercial office with a sighed lease would. I reached out and emailed Regus again with this matter and Regus replied that if I want to stop the on going charges and consider an early termination they will settle my account if I pay them $10,000. Again predictor operating businesses like Regus have no morale judgment or care toward their customers because Regus only care to extract as much money as they can from their customers instead of fixing the problem and actually offer a good fair and suitable service to their customers and not have their center receptionist mistreat the customer because that was not what I signed up for. As a consumer I have the right demand an end to a service if am being mistreated and not receiving proper services I am paying for a contract between a customer and a business should not be beneficial only to one side which is the business who actually wrote the contract. Such a one sided benefit contract is clearly a predictor trap type of contract that’s deviously constructed to prey on consumer or customers.

Desired outcome: I am a 26 years student and I was not aware of a lease I thought I was subscribing to be allowed to use the office area. I make mistakes and we are in the middle of Covid 19 pandemic please don’t incase my stress and stop harassing me.

Regus incorrect billing and debt collection

ACCOUNT NUMBER: [protected]

ACCOUNT NUMBER: 6880261

The complaint is that I keep being sent debt collection and invoice reminders for ACCOUNT NUMBER: [protected]. These relate to a virtual office facility for a company called Sapiq Investments.

The situation is that I have always paid the monthly fee for the virtual office facility for Sapiq Investments, on time and in full every month.

REGUS / MWB originally billed the fees to my ACCOUNT NUMBER: 6880261 and did not bill the fees to ACCOUNT NUMBER: [protected], as they are doing now. I therefore paid the monthly fee for Sapiq Investments from ACCOUNT NUMBER: 6880261.

However as the fees for ACCOUNT NUMBER: [protected] were always billed to ACCOUNT NUMBER: 6880261 and paid on time and in full from ACCOUNT NUMBER: 6880261, I should not be receiving any debt collection or unpaid bill demands for ACCOUNT NUMBER: [protected].

I cannot be legally compelled to pay twice for the same service.

Desired outcome: Please cancel any payments currently showing as owing from ACCOUNT NUMBER: [protected]. There should be a nil balance owing as at today's date. Please also cease any debt collection emails.
