Renault repairs to renault duster

Our 2014 Renault Duster DCi caught fire, coming back from a medium long journey on the 31st of March 2018. After waiting more than two weeks to get a quote for the repairs (18 April 2018) my insurance gave permission for the repair the 19th April 2018.

it is now the 15th of July 2018, and we are still waiting for our vehicle! After a long wait to get feedback from Customer Care SA - which know NOTHING about customer care?! We still have NO idea what is happening with our vehicle.

After many effort and pleas to Renault SA, the DP of Renault Stellenbosch gave us a courtesies car.

We keep our vehicle in an immaculate condition (services etc.) we do not appreciate being cared for in this way!

Renault I do believe that this is NOT the standard that you will be happy with. Your South African Customer Care services are NOT doing your name well!

Renault renault parts not ordered in time

rock shattered our Renault Scienc roof on 19/06/2018. We went to Renault and they ordered the glass roof, and we paid an deposit. Renault SA said they do have 13 in stock and we will have it repaired by 28/06/2018.
So our insurance gave us a borrow car.
We pushed for payment, because we knew we were to get our car by the 29th.
Everything was sorted for payment and Reanualt phoned us 28th and said they made a mistake, they have to import the glass roof, they dont have stock. It will only be here at 11/07/2018.
So yes, our insurace paid out and they took back the car. Renault also didnt have a car to borrow, seeing that the car is out of warrantee, and we had to make another plan!
Today I only found out that the glass roof will only maby be at the Warehouse on Monday 16/07/2018.

This is unacceptable, and unprofessional !
They keep changing the dates!
I want my car by the 14th at latest.

How long will it take?

I dont have any transport from Saterday!

Renault Booking the new duster

Dear sir

Iam Annasimone Armya from cairo - egypt, I booked the new duster from EIM at friday 11/5/2018 i payed 30000 Le
Then at 14/5/2018 i payed the remaining price 306000 Le .
At 24/6/2018 a lot of people received the car from EIM and when i asked the slaes man he told me that you are in the second patch that will be in fisrt of august.

Please note that i booked the car in first day of opening the booking.

Please note also that i lost about 5000 Le due to the increase of the car license in egypt from 1/7/2018 & i lost about 5000 le the benefits of the bank.

Also please note that the car is available for the Immediate receipt in all auto shows with over price 15000 Le.

Renault faulty brand new car

I bought a brand new megane dynamique...after less than 3 months it started to make some noise took it back ...waited for 5 months for a part...they said they fixed it...after 2 months the noise started again i took it back they putted on a new part...after 1 months the noise came back...i don't know what to do anymore...iam paying a fortune for this car yet iam not happy at all

Renault renault trafic wheels

I currently drive a renault trafic 2012 model.
I took it for tyres and was told the wheels were DANGEROUS!
The tyre fitter refused to refit new tyres to the exhausting alloys and they where desintergrating ...
Renault uk - phone services - didn't understand the complaint so rejected it...
Renault dealer passed on pic without seeing wheels only to be told they were dented (kernes) so couldned help!
The ‘denting' was in fact on the inside edge and the alloy coming way from the wheel and not a dent!
The outer edge of the wheel is fine and balance all good!
After service is appalling!
I transport my 4 children - one disabled in this vehicle...

Totally shocked by all the responses!

Renault low quality material used in my duster car

Sub: Low quality material used in my Duster Car

Dear Sir;
I have given my Duster car serviced on date 20.06.2018 at Renault Service station, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur Rajasthan.
Details of my car is as per below:

I have sent my car for routine service as I am facing Knocking sound from Doors on date 20.06.2018 at 10:00 AM morning at Renault Service station, Malviya Nagar, Jaipur Rajasthan. I got my car back in night 8:30 PM. Next day, When I checked my car; I found that no one has checked my this single issue (Knocking sound from Doors ) and send the car back without any resolution. I again take up this issue to service centre but they ask me to take the car back to service station for re-checking. I discussed with issue against with seniors at service station and later on they sent their one service engineer at my home to check the issue.

After checking; he informed that my car all rubber bidding has been worn-out and need to be replaced. Further he informed that all door latches also need to be changed. After changing both items (All 04 biddings and all 04 latches) sound may be reduced. They have given me rough estimate of Rs. 20, 000/-.

I ask service engineer and service centre that how all 04 biddings and all 04 latches can be worn-out same time within the life to 5~6 years but no one has given positive reply in this regards. Currently I am owning 03 cars which age are more than 10 years but I never faced such issue. I checked this issue with other car holders having car more than 06 years but no one face such issue faced in their car.

I have checked this issue with my some friends who are in the R&D dept. of automobile industry. They also informed that this is quite rare issue and happen after life of 10~12 year due to low quality of rubber material only. I have also checked with Duster owners who are having cars more than 05 years but they also not faced such issue any time.

Conclusion: In my case; all door bidding and latched are used of low quality so worn-out early before assessable life. Now I request you to take up this matter on my behalf and arrange to replace all 04 biddings and all 04 latches free of cost basis on priority.

Renault illegal acts of authorized dealer, divine auto tech, rama road, new delhi

I am a loyal customer of Renault but the recently I have been facing harassment at the hands of the employees of Divine Auto tech. This is to bring to your notice that one of the distributors of Renault India, Divine AutoTech situated at 16, Rama Road, New Delhi, of Renault Auto, has been indulging in various criminal offence and has been harassing and exploiting the innocent customer. They have illegal possession of my car, Renault Fluence, which was taken by them in the name of servicing. Since then they have not done any work on my car and are not ready to return it to me. It is not the first time this distributor has been harassing innocent customers. Till today my Car is in their illegal custody and no sign of resolution can been seen.

The Renault is renowned for their quality product and customer support, but this Divine Auto Tech, have failed to deliver any of the services which were agreed as terms and agreements. Mr. Ajay Kapur(Director), Mr. Prateek Kapur(Director), Mr. Murli (General Manager), Mr. Bhupende(Manageer) ets. of the Divine AutoTech, are misusing the name of the Renault Company and they are harming the reputation of the Company and they are duping innocent customers to fill their own pockets instead of providing adequate services and attention to the customers. They have indulged into various criminal offences like, cheating, breach of trust, criminal misappropriation and others. The Divine Auto Tech is also in lot of legal trouble as criminal proceedings have been initiated against its Directors. An FIR before the police has also been registered against the managers of the Divine AutoTech and investigation is in process.

It is therefore requested that the appropriate action must be taken by the company and awareness must be spread against the illegal acts of this distributor

Renault unacceptable standard of vehicles

I bought a renault gt megane brand new in may 2018. after one week I washed the vehicle and noticed that there was unfinished paint on the bonnet area. I noticed that the doors and some of the parts are also not aligned. I returned the vehicle at renault witbank and I showed the manager but he said that there was no fault on the vehicle and failed to assist me. I took the vehicle to an approved panel beater to inspect, he confirmed that the bonnet had unfinished paint.
Renault is currently assisting me regarding my query but I wanted you guys to be aware of the unacceptable standard vehicles that are sold to customers. I purchased this vehicle cash. I am very disappointed in the service received an the quality of renault vehicles and would like a refund on this vehicle. I am a pensioner and I have lost my respect for this brand! poor quality.

Renault renault captur

Hi, i am aliza from malaysia. I bought captur in Nov 2016. About a year i face these probs:
1) Aircond, compressor changed
2) Power window (driver's side) jammed.
3) Fuel meter & the indicator not accurate. Pump oil but meter did not go up. Already wrote to renault malaysia but no reply or action from them.
4) The latest, car cannot start. Technician changed battery and did computer setting
5) Finally my car end up in a workshop on eve of eidul fitri as it totally shut down.

Renault renault captur

The air conditioning of my Renault Captur is too weak. In the high temperatures it feels working as a fan! Only cools down the place when outside temperature is low and the car is in the shade!
"Auto" works a little bit better than manual. But both are unacceptable.
It's model 2017 and is still in warranty. The Renault center in egypt failed to help although they were consulted twice.

Renault scenic 2012 model

Hi. Our car broke down after hitting a pothole. All systems are off and car cannot be pushed or moved. We are unable to release the brakes so it can towed. My complaint is Renault South Africa, Woodmead branch is refusing our request to send technician to help, ONLY to release the brakes then we can take it from there. Can you facilitate help?
Remember, all we need is technician to come release the brakes to get car moving and we can get it towed to service dealer.

Renault customer service and delay on parts

Dear sir/madam

I'm an owner of a Renault Megane, diesel coupe with Cyprus registration number KWX582.

My car during the first days of month of February 2018 presented a mechanical problem and during the diagnostic check it was pinpointed, and I was formally informed that a specific part was needed for the repair.

I've ordered the part through the Renault dealership in (Nicosia) Cyprus and I've paid the half amount in advance in order to be shipped from your main offices, since there was no such part in stock in Cyprus.

During the last days of February, my car presented more problems due to a complete failure of the malfunctioned part, which was not shipped.

I was advised by the Cyprus dealership to leave my vehicle in the dealership garage, and I was provided with another car, in awaiting for the particular part.

Since then, (4 months) the part has not been shipped and I'm still waiting for it's repair.

This is unacceptable from your behalf. Please find attached the ownership tile with the vehicle's details such as Engine and vin number.

Renault renault duster 2013 recurrent lousy service problems

Pesimo servicio tecnico caro y poco confiable. Ref. Renault duster 2013/queja en quito ecuador

Aproximadamente en feb 2018, el auto a cerca de 50.000 km ya reporto con problemas en el embrage, donde todo el sistema fue cambiado en los talleres de la eloy alfaro (automoteres y anexos, plato, disco, ruliman, bomba, etc..).

El costo fue de mas de $ 800 us dolares, y sin embargo de este costo en menos de 3, 000 km mas en abril 2018, el sistema fallo otra vez, donde todo el sistema hidraulico de embrague colapso otra vez.

Esta situacion aparte de la peligrosidad que representa el paro abrupto en plena calle con el peligro de choque por detras, significa algo intolerable para un servicio tecnico autorizado de renault, donde a las claras se ve que no existe ningun control de calidad ni seguimiento de lo que se hace.

Como si lo anterior no fue ya suficiente hace algunos dias (mayo 20 2018), el auto... De la nada.. Comenzo con un ruido fuerte en el motor, por el que se hizo una verificacion rapida por debajo y se verifico que existia una pieza de plastico tipo coraza que estaba suelta..! Y que el ruido provenia de otro fallo que se desconoce su origen.

El auto tuvo que ser ingresado de nuevo en pocos dias a partir de la segunda falla del sistema de embrague, ocacionandome otra vez perdida de tiempo, gastos de wincha, taxis, etc..

Lo sucedido es intolerable que dice mucho de la calidad y confiabilidad del auto y del servicio que presta renault en quito.

Es mi primera y la ultima vez que adquiero un auto renault en ecuador.

Renault brand new renault kwid

23/01/2018 I purchased my 2018 Renault Kwid, and collected it on the 24/01/2018 brand new. The mileage recorded 50km and whenI questioned this tho the handover lady, she told me that the car had to travel from whichever depot and that a brand new car is never really zero though the recorded mileage on my papers have 0km recorded.

09/04/2018 at just over 2 months old at approximately 7:30 am on my way to work, I am forced to pull over as I see smoke coming from the bonnet. I stop call Road Assist and I miss an important meeting with the Registrar of Stellenbosch University where I work.

10/04/2018 I am called and told the car has been taken through a battery of tests, including computer diagnostics and road test, they found nothing wrong with the car. I protest in an inquiry of what could have caused the smoke whose fumes were still strongly there. They say they don't know but they found nothing wrong with the car.

09/05/2018 Car suffers the same fate, on my way back from work I see smoke coming out of the bonnet, the smell of charcoal is as strong as the last time. At that point the car was just under 4000km, 3900 and some odd, but Renault says it was just over 4000 when they received it, that is fine and besides the point.
NOTE: At this time my new baby has had to undergo major dissection and stripping in less than 4 months. I never got to enjoy this car.

10/05/2018 Car is towed away and I miss work from Thursday 10 May to Monday

14/05/2018 as I was stranded and my requests for a loaned vehicle fell on deaf ears. During this time an exchange of emails between myself and Western Cape personnel ensues, they are not pleasant at all. I am at this time sent a picture which removes all blame from their part for their continued negligence and instead they respond arrogantly to a point of saying I can explore other avenues if I am not satisfied with their outcome.

15/05/2018 I cannot miss work any longer so I force myself to take taxis to work. The emails continue all avenues for reconciling or mediating the process have been destroyed. They still have my car because I refuse to pay them an amount disclosed after I requested that they release my car in my care and I will arrange a tow from their premises. Had I been informed of these costs prior to their stripping of my car, I would gladly be held to account however, this major step and onus of diclosure was withheld from me, I should have been asked to consent or decline having it stripped based on x amount I would have to pay. On top of that, they told me that if I am to fetch my vehicle they would not put back the removed parts and that I would find my gear box and clutch kit in the boot. Who does that to a customer?

I feel robbed, held to ransom and coerced and violated by these extortionists who are always sweet and sleek when they want to clinch a deal and turn into luciphers when they need to account to an extent that I began asking myself would things have turned out any differently if I was a Van Wyk or a Du Toit maybe?

I asked these people if they are familiar with a concept of symbolic violence as this brutality has traces of its symbolism. What pays me is that I worked hard for that car for them to treat me like ****! I picked them over all other car dealers. I will now dedicate my life telling everyone about this experience and the abuse I suffered from Renault

Throughout all of this, I have not even received a single apology from Renault, and have also not enjoyed my purchase for its intended use as per the consumer's protective act and the guarantees act.

These corporate thugs have not just started a war with me, they also fueled the blazing inferno. I have chosen to use all avenues possible as they ****ily encouraged me to go ahead.

Because I want the Ombudsman process to unfold without any legal complexities involved, I will wait for them to finish this case and thereafter will proceed to stage two of a civil case against Renault Western Cape/SA. This process has drained me mentally, emotionally, psychologically and otherwise and as much as they have trivialized my suffering, only a court of law can reinstate my feelings of worth and overall well-being by granting me justice.

This is WHITE COLLAR CRIME and I am more convinced as I have begun reading similar experiences, same ones across South Africa that these people are used to getting away with this. Renault SA has tarnished your once reputable brand, and if you do your investigation you will begin to see why your customers are quick to walk away while Renault is ranging just above 1 on the hello-peter scoring/star status.

Renault renault duster model 2015, stalled alternator and ac compressor after 38000 km

I own a Renault Duster car model 2015. I purchased it from EL-Tarek, Egypt on November 25, 2014. Engine number 4852 and chassis [protected] licence Giza فع 9341

On May 5, 2018 while driving on Mariotia road the car completely stopped in the middle of the road. I called the road side Renault service and a technician came and checked the car but could not diagnose the problem and asked for the cat to be transported to Abo-Rawash service station. I called the Tribology and spare parts center at the faculty of engineering, Cairo university as being the nearest to diagnose the fault. They came and handed me a report indicating that the alternator was jammed and stalled making some brake action on the engine. They also found the compressor of the AC is faulty and not working.
They stated that for the first time in a life to see an alternator stalled after 38000 Km only. They attributed the problem to low reliability and poor built in assembled units.

I transported the car to the Renault service center at Aborawash loaded on a rescue truck. They confirmed the faulty alternator and quoted LE 10500 for repair. I asked for consideration of the short life of their components. They traced the service orders for 5000, 10000, and 15000 but did not find the 20000 Km service documents.

Now I am requesting Renault to bare the cost of the repair as the components had faults and failure in shorter life showing low reliability and poor built in components. Otherwise I am going to ask the Tribology and spare parts center of Cairo university to provide a detailed failure and fault diagnosis report for the customer protection agency in Cairo. Obviously they will publish the report as a case study, and therefore your reputability can be affected. I use to recommend your Duster car as spacey and roomy with good clearance from the ground, but now I am embarrassed.

Renault renault duster dci reg no cfm14766

Since purchasing this vehicle I was very impressed and enjoyed every km traveled. An unfortunate incident let to the engine catching fire. All went well for a while, but now it really is becoming very annoying. After waiting two weeks just to get a quote my insurance gave authority for the repairs on the 19th april 2018. Three weeks (9th may 20118) we where emailed that that they are waiting for three parts then repairs can begin. The next day we where informed that they will the first parts soon? Total discrepancies?! I contacted the sa customer (don't) care line and the non exciting support continued. Firstly I was helped by a very curtious lady (vusi) - thank you vusi. She transferred the cal to a certain brent pile - oh my! No support no feedback, no service! A real unfriendly man. I asked fr feedback - none! I asked for a curtsy vehicle as my insurance car's time has run out - none? I asked for advice on what can I do - none! The attitude was - even informing him that we are really stranded as this is our only vehicle - "that my problem, not his? Come on renault - this kind of crazy does not fit your reputations or quality! Lease help us?

Renault the second time in two years for the battery to go flat.

Dears,

I have renault car 2016 model "sandero stepway" and this is the second time in two years for the battery to go flat, now I am suppose to be in the warranty till jan. 2019 however renault egypt refused to change the battery and said that I have to buy it for an egp 2500.

I need your help to reconsider this as this should be replaced within the warranty period

Renault appalling & disgusting service

I'm a customer of the Roodepoort Renault Branch. After a break down I contacted the branch and was made aware of an apparent fault with the electronics, which resulted to the break down I in counted.

The Car was then towed to the Branch on the 30 April, which is ten (10) days ago and I've had the following problems:

· Renault has done a recall which was not communicated efficiently to me.
When I contacted Renault about the car I was made aware of a recall. Why wasn't I notified before? Where was Renault's duty of care? It has been ten (10) days - but actually longer as the car shut down on the 24th April. It took them six (6) days and I still have not received no communication about my car.

· I have tried multiple times to contact someone, I mean anyone from the Branch to the Customer Service about my car but the numbers I've received or found do not work - just ringing and no call backs. When I finally call different departments to speak to anyone they advise that Ill be contacted back, still nothing.

For all I know my car could be missing. The customer care of Renault is appalling and not something I would recommend to other people. How do I get to work? How do I take my kid to school? I'm still paying for a car that I have not used in ten days!

Being female, I bought a new car to avoid such - I feel like I have a second hand car - bare in mind this car was bought new in January 2017!. I wanted the assurance of safety.

Is there anyone who can help? This is a desperate call!

Hi Customer Care,

I called the Customer care to no avail, we just going back and forth - No one to take responsibility and the list goes on. I am livid with the service from a simple part to a warranty problem to not having a car. Besides me waiting for a miracle for someone to get back to me - What is a way forward?

Renault renault bryanston: has had my car since before easter with no courtesy car available

Good day.

My Renault Clio IV Expression had an oil and water mix, so I towed it to Renault Bryanston.

It has since been there and I have called several times to hear that they were either checking the problem or now awaiting parts. I requested a courtesy car of which I was told they only had 6 available which were all out.

A month or so later, I still do not have a car. I have explained the urgency as my car is my career/job, without it, I cannot earn an income.

I just don't understand how there are still (after a month) no courtesy cars available. I also don't understand why it took almost two weeks to check what was wrong with the car and then only order parts, which I have now been told there are eleven parts needed.

Look, I understand ordering processes etc, what I don't understand is the inefficiency of communication as well as the work ethic.

I need my car back or a courtesy car before Wednesday midday, or I'll have to take this matter further.

I am disgusted with the quality of the vehicle and my experience with a brake down due to your negligents after two weeks of servicing my vehicle.apparently there is a fault in the electronics which caused my car to switch off and not respond at all.put in danger as i was stranded and expenses occurred.terrible experience for my first car being a female
