Rent-A-Center bunk bed

Hello im Nikita I have a bunk bed for my son and The bed was poorly put together I have been calling and talking to store manager Rick said he will give me a full size bed he has not did so now when I call he is never there this is really sad to me because I pay my account early so they wouldn't be calling my phone job or family member because I'm late this is wrong now I'm calling just to get a bed for my son and can't get it replaced that's all I want is a safe bed for my son to sleep on and I just can't believe RICK because he was such a nice guy but now he has let me down PLEASE HELP I JUST NEED A SAFE BED

Rent-A-Center dishonest employees

I went to the store located on Lyons Ave in Newark NJ on a Monday. The application was completed and a payment for two weeks was made and a delivery date of Wednesday was given. The store claimed they reached out to me on Tuesday, because they didn't know how to utilize the verification line at my job. I then provided a direct number for them to use. I asked would this delay delivery, they said no. I called on Thursday to follow up with th status, and was advised we tried to contact the references and one number was out of service, one I couldn't reach but one I did. I called the references l left for them and the confirmed no one called them. I called the store back and the employee that answered the phone I advised him he lied about the references because I spoke to them all. He then states well we short staffed because everyone walk away. I waited two hours and called back and asked did he call he states I will do it now annoyed may I add. He finally called my references and and the questions were beyond asinine. The first one "is this your family, so I guess you known her all her life". Second one "what's her work". Third one "what's her address." That's it and hung up. Then the store gets back to me at about 4 and says you don't qualify. I'm so confused, clearly the employee is angry because he was caught in a lie and I continued to check on the matter. I reached out to the complaint vent and is currently awaiting a call from the district manager.

Rent-A-Center poor customer service from store manager

My name is Chad; I work for a credit reporting agency and I called into your store location in Rent-A-Center

and was treated EXTREMELY rude by a gentleman who claimed he was the store manager. He was very rude accusing me of being a "smartass" when I was just trying to do my job and clear up some confusion. I did not speak to him rudely or with malice until he started accusing me of being a "smartass" and "rude" to him. He was being highly unprofessional. If you have recorded calls you can pull up the call at that location on 09/05/2017 at 10:17 am and hear the whole thing for yourself. I wish to have this man reprimanded for his extremely unprofessional behavior as it was not warranted at all.

Rent-A-Center furniture infested with bed bugs

I rented furniture from the Anchorage location in Feb which was infested with Bed bugs and till this day has not been cleared from my home sedgewick has not properly cleared my home
Of the infestation, refunded me money for my rental, I get harassing calls from your store for a payment, and compensated me in any way. I have videos from start to current

Rent-A-Center customer service

These are some of the most ignorant, unimportant people I have encountered that actually have jobs and so call help run a business . If you are late even once, they will numb your phones ringer. They are calling 40 times a day and then have the nerve to get an attitude with you as if you are not the reason they are getting paid. I just think the president of this business should do a complete turnover and fire all the employees that people have complained about and get people in the stores who appreciate customers and value themselves and their jobs. I do currently rent from rent a center but I am certainly thinking about turning the furniture in and filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau .

Rent-A-Center cell phone and air conditioner

Rent a center in webster ma. 01570 [protected]..today I tried to get help with my account and I got the worst service in the world. Wow I must say these employees need to be FIRED. I was told from the lady manager that she will not accept payment on my cell phone unless I paid full balance on the air conditioner.. She was very very rude and said without the payment she will just cancel and shut my phone off. Telling me this like a ten old girl would.. Seriously she's supposed to be professional. I will not ever do business with you again. This matter needs to be taken care of immediately or the authorities will handle this matter. This is totally uncalled for.

Rent-A-Center harassment

My name is Heather Granados. I and my husband David Granados rented a washer/dryer & bed from your North Platte, Nebraska store a little over a month ago. We received the bed after waiting 5 hours of being repeatedly told the gentleman that was delivering our bed was on his way 3 different times. We had to wait almost 2 weeks for our washer and dryer after being told it would only take 2 days after receiving the bed. Then we didn't realize that our payment was over due by 2 weeks because we were informed we got the first 2 weeks free. And when the gentleman I'm not sure of his name and a woman from corporate her name is April came to my door. The gentleman was very rude and said you are 2 weeks late my Manager Rex Reid said we have to pick up the washer/dryer and the bed. I and my husband politely told him we were on our way down to the store to make our payment. The gentleman said I will have to call my Manager and see what he says. The young woman April was very polite and was trying to come up with a way to work with us because we have 3 small children and needed our washer and dryer. The gentleman came back from the company truck with his cellphone and proceeded to call Rex the store manager. When he got a hold of Rex, Rex told him he wanted to speak to my husband David. My husband gets on the phone and is trying to explain to Rex that we were just getting our children dressed and ready so we could go pay our bill. Rex started being rude with my husband telling him we either have him my debit card information right now and my husband told him he wasn't going to do that, that we were on are way to the store to make our payment Rex started yelling at my husband and refused my payment and said to let the gentleman in my house to remove the rented stuff. My husband told him no that we would have set up a better time for them to pick it up we were heading out the door to go pay bills and I had to be to work in 2 hours it would have to wait till we could set up a better time. And from that day on Rex has 10 or more times a day called my references or my place of employment. My husband called Rex about a week ago asking him to please stop harassing my references, Rex said he will continue until we return the rented stuff. My husband informed him we will be talking with corporate. And for the last 3 days the same gentleman that came the first time with the young woman April from corporate has been literally beating on my door and sitting outside my house. And this morning 8/19/2017 the same gentleman beat on my door scaring my 5yr old son.

Rent-A-Center customer service for a new client

I am not even a customer but it tempted become a customer yesterday which was August 17th I attempted to use the website to fill out the application now in each attempt there were multiple tries to get it correct I attempted four times and each time as I said there was a subset of trying for different times to get the information to go through I never got a return call I had to return the call to them in order to find out that they didn't have well won the information as required as I stated I did online and two I hadn't got a call back because of that so then the manager gets on the phone and explains that she just has a couple questions that seem to have been missed next thing I know is that it each part of the application that I did online very little information was passed on so then I'm or less was attempting to fill out the application on the telephone with the manager the online part every time I told her that I filled that part out she would say no really know whether she was questioning whether or not I actually did or whether or not the question was there I don't know but at the way that it come across she was having a hard time believing that the question wasn't there made it as soon that I either skipped it or had no desire to fill out that question so I couldn't even become a customer I couldn't even fill out the full application with her because of my PTSD anxiety issues and told her that I would just call her back today now I'm not going to make an attempt to call them because I've decided that I'm not going to do it for a used to in one computer I will not make an attempt today to call them because I've decided not to do it for this computer but anyway I will let you a dollar to a doughnut that they will not attempt to call me either because you know as whatever reason they want to use as to why they couldn't get to me today I'm sure they will be a justifiable reason

Rent-A-Center dm.. dustin hall

I work for Rent a Center and the new DM is making it impossible for us to work for this company, I believe he is prejudice n I'm white but he is, I have been in his presence when he used the N word and he said Frank use it to and I was sicken to my stomach. He's trying to get rid of all the black managers and put white managers in their place. There was a 3, 000 bank deposit came missing out of the magnolia store and wasn't anyone thur but a guy name Brent and a girl name Connie but that was covered up. Just call around and talk to you all black managers in that piece and they will tell you. I'm encouraging all the black people to put a Rasicm claim on RAC.

Rent-A-Center customer service

My sisters boyfriend works at rent a center in manchester Ky snd I went in the store to rent some furniture . I filled out my application and while I was doing so your employees laughed at me, asked me personal questions about my hair which has all come out due to an illness, and the three employees in the store treated me very very poorly . on my Paynment due date I called the store to let them know I would be there before they closed to make my payment. I later got a call back about two and a half hours before they closed where the employee on the phone and the ones in the background were saying not very nice things . I am very very upset about this situation and I would like to speak to someone.

Rent-A-Center bad time

Unfortunately, as a customer I would like to inform you about what is going on at rent a center in my town. First of all I have noticed alot of funny smells such as beer and alchohol. Well I needed a dryer cheap one and the man took me to the backroom to look at a dryer but I walked out the backdoor 3 of your employees had a beer in their hands amd were passing around a joint. Well I went back inside told the other guy and he said they do that all the time. Well started checking out this dryer opened it and there was a 30 pack of beer in it as well as three marijuana pipes and ziploc bags of weed. So I just left and returned all my merchandise back to them. They stunk smelled like marijuana. As I was leaving the parking lot one of them yelled and said [censor] snitches end up in ditches then he got in company vehicle and drove off. The store manager, the assistant manager is involved in all of this.

Rent-A-Center furniture

Yes I made a payment for my product and it seems to not of posted on the account yet and also they seem stalking and watching everything I do and I don't feel comfortable about it I told the associate that I made a payment so I'm just waiting to see what's going on and won't find out if it posted for about five days I already called my credit card company and talked with them about it so would be nice if they would kind-of back off with the calls j stay busy and don't have my phone on me all the time

Rent-A-Center merchandise

"First Time" doing business with your company and after I finish paying everything off You can guarantee it will be the last. I came into your store Friday 8/4/17 to purchase furniture, was told I would have to wait until Monday 8/7/17 to receive merchandise. My scheduled delivery time was set for (4:00 p.m) which was fine because I explained to the gentleman that I got off work at 6 a.m and had to go back in later at 10 p.m. So Monday has come and no one shows up. I called after 5:45 p.m to see what the hold up was. The guy who answered cracks a few jokes (instead of taking me & my time serious) the gentleman then gave me the run arounds stating they would be there at (7:00 p.m) So 8:30 hits and still no one has shown up. I call the store again, by now I'm upset! The guy explains there loading up and will arrive in 20 minutes. Once again, I've gotten the run arounds! Because no one came. I should be treated like a valued customer, the gentleman gave me his word and I expect to have my things at the scheduled time! I left home at 9:50 p.m no one ever came by or called. I'm highly upset with this company, because this is not how you conduct business! Your company was QUICK to take a down payment Friday but can't deliver my merchandise as scheduled! This is very poor customer service and I don't wish to continue future services with your company! I will warn everyone I know, to NOT do business with Rent - A - Center.

Rent-A-Center behavior

8/7/2017. I just buried my father today. I am in Birmingham Alabama. I know I am late on my payment which is only $50 on a laptop. We tried to pay this before we left but they said that we owe over $300. I am heading back to Peoria first thing in the morning. I had my neighbor that is watching my house and dogs to let Rent a Center know when I would be back. Today she called me to tell me that they came banging on my door and by the time she got over to my house they were gone. But apparently they antagonized my dogs as to 1 jumped out of the window. That I don't appreciate. I tried to call them around 4:30 this evening and I got this one guy named Antoin that was rude with me before. I asked to speak to Chris, whom we deal with and know how much we owe for the laptop. Again this Antoin was rude by saying I couldn't speak to Chris unless I gave my name. I am so upset right now. I wanted to report this guy so no-one have to deal with his character. I just buried my dad. Needless to say, as soon as I get back, I am returning your products.

Rent-A-Center unethical behavior; poor customer service

Hi, my name is Kenol Pierre and I would like to provide information on a complaint I would like to mention at a Rent -a-Center store located at 864 Pennsylvania Ave Brooklyn NY 11207.

I came in on Friday July 30, 2017 to apply for a chaise sofa and I was greeted and spoke to the Cashier Carmen. She assisted me and i was approved on spot. I paid, signed the contract and was told that she would notify me on Monday afternoon to con firm my delivery date. I was a little hesitant because I knew that I was only off Tuesday and Wednesday to accept the delivery, which I informed Carmen of that and she stated she would see what she could do.

Weekend passes, and Monday arrives. I usually leave my house approx. 2pm and I haven't heard from Carmen or any Rent-a-Center representative regarding the delivery. I head to work and approx. 5-6pm iI called rent-a-center to confirm the delivery and I was greeted with the worst customer service from again Carmen. She proceeded to tell me that they don't have drivers and she "thinks": they would deliver on Friday. I explained to Carmen that i needed a definite answer because i couldn't be waiting around for a delivery when i have errands myself. She then got rude and stated" You can come get your money back then." I was extremely let down, whereas this was my first experience with rental items and Rent-a-Center itself.

I told her i just might do that. She then hung the phone up on me. I called another Rent-a-Center at the 9718 church St, Brooklyn NY and was helped with the most pleasant customer service. The representative made me feel that she wanted to assist me and that was satisfied. She told me to re-do the application and if she could verify my references she could get the sofa delivered that day. however, i couldn't get all references verified within that time.

I called the Pennsylvania Ave location the next day and spoke with Carmen the next day. I was again greeted as if she didn't know who I was. I asked for a delivery date where it as been 5 days and no contact or delivery from rent-a-center. She then proceeded to tell me that they would deliver the sofa btw 2-4 on Friday. I asked Carmen if there was any way they could come before 1pm on Friday where I have to work. She no said flat-out "NO". I again explained to her that I have to leave out my house for work by 2pm. She then with a rude tone me "there's nothing she could do, take it or leave. Come get your money back if you want." I was flaborgasted by what I was hearing. The customer service was unprofessional.

Im not asking for a refund but I wanted the poor customer service at this location to be recognized. I am still interested in my item. If you need nay further details, feel free to contact me at the information proved below.

Rent-A-Center my accounts!

I have been with rent a center for past 9 years never been late on any payments. Have paid off 4 or 5 accounts and have 4 more active. I sometimes need a week to spare and always promise to pay and always have paid that and late fees due. This past week i my wife had spoke to manager and it was agreed to double up this week like i have done before. Well this past saturday my due date 3 hours before they close during my 3 yr old daughters birthday party rent a center pulls up to get all my stuff. I wasnt going to forget to pay i had 2 more hours left to call in debt card like we do. If u check back into my account i was paying a day early so they figured to call me friday evenings to remind me even though my payment wasnt due until saturday before buisiness hours close. The manager couldnt speak to me when i called so she put her employee up to speaking with me. So the guy tells me how manager will have to work late if i dont pay and that her boss was one makeing them come get my stuff. Wasnt very customer service friendly. Finally manager gets on to take my debt card number. Each time i tryed to speak to her about situation she acted like she couldnt hear me on phone speaking l. But when i said here is my card number to pay half of bill becuase i was so upset, she then was able to hear me speak. Im am so angry of how i have been embarassed at my daughters birthday party for a repo guy to pull up when i have always paid my bill and have always when promise to pay i pay. U can look back into my account and see. I really think im going to maybe cancel all my accounts due to this. I even have had credit on my account for numerous years that i have begged to be applied to new account i open never once will she let me. I am sorry for complaining but this isnt manager material yall have working at Bolton Store in Alexandria La.

Rent-A-Center washer/dryer delivery fiasco

On Monday, July 17, 2017, I went into the 10
19 flatbush location to rentva washer dryer. The sales rep was eccellenr, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. The delivery crew or as I sgould say non-delivery [censor]. Never delivered a washer or dryer to my apt on the day of delivery. They called and assured me that they were at my residence, I had mom open the door for thrm only to measure where they wanted it to go. Not where ive allocated and decided "my delivery wouldnt happen bc the apt wasn't move in ready!" I am more than appalled at the revocation of my delivery! Please have someon from corporate call me to refund my rental. All this time since monday im paying on a washerydryer set and haven't received it! I need this resolved asap!

Rent-A-Center rental on a proposed refrigerator

On 7/20/2017 went to Rent-a-Center in Alvin, Tx. off of Hwy 35 to rent a refrigerator for a couple of weeks because ours went out.. the sign on the refrigerator stated either $17.99 a week or $71.99 per month nothing else... after completion of the application for reference checks, the sales associate said since it was only temporary that we would be charged for the month... I proceeded to ask why and that it's the customers choice since nothing was stated in print... he couldn't answer that and proceeded to walk off to do the reference check. I then asked the store manager the same question and he stated that it was store policy and that his store is a franchise and I asked to see in print where it stated that they didn't have to follow corporate policy and where it stated that I would be charged for a month for only a two week use. He failed the produce any documentation and proceeded to walk off.
I am currently working in the legal profession and considering legal litigation regards to this matter.

Rent-A-Center payment issue

I pay my account when due all the time at times I'm Day or so late but always pay it. I know the staff have job to do but they haven't been the nicest to me when calling.

I've been with you awhile a pay something off and continue do the same and I have honor having help Derek in past on management team but now no one is listening they are focused on me being past due 58 dollars

Anyway I have screenshot I've attempted to make Paynent online like I always do when processing it the screen spin and wouldn't stop processing over and over charging me multiple times.l but didn't go through your end just thru bank which they says when the charged come thru thru will return all but
It's the 3 rd time and literally getting 6 calls a day
I pay my bills and will resolve

This has been ongoing and and already caused me plebtybykmd dealing with it but now took my pmt 5 leaving me short money until resolved - with 6 calls a day though they are only doing their jobs they should communicate telling each other what's going on of omg. But I'm about give up also reported tv giving issues and going blank screen where didn't work for 2 weeks and had someone tell me they have to take it send out - which would leave us small tv during time frame but still paying for it - just been big headache and I've been customer and pay off my items but this is one I might nit keep as it's always something I think something should be done for me

Rent-A-Center service

My contract was pasted on to them with out me knowing because I fell behind due to me becoming disable having strokes and seizures. When finding out that they had my account I was waiting to be approved for disability and my wife was struggling with all the bills. They did not want to deal with my wife being that we are both woman married. I was sick and threatened to loose my furniture when my wife was willing to work it out and they wouldn't allow her to. When my disability was approved they still have me a hard time still giving me nasty phone calls not wanting to give me 5 days to come in and pay my bill. I hate this company!
