Jennifer the store manager is very rude, she left me a nasty voicemail after I missed two payments, when I call the store to speak with her she refused to get on the phone, she put another employee on the line, when she got on the phone, I told her to never leave me voicemails like that again, she started yelling at me over the phone and told me to keep the mattress I told her I would be coming in the next day the store was open and she said she won't take any of my money and she would be cutting all ties off since I was a new costumer, I hung up the phone on her and she called right back, she when processed to apologize for the voicemail then continued to hell at me on speaker phone then to have employees do the same, I will never rent anything from this store again!

I have been a customer with rent a center for almost a year. I had a laptop and a bed with supposedly new mattresses. As soon as I missed a payment or was late, they were hounding me like I stole their stuff. I have always kept in contact with them no matter what and I paid all my late fees. I was one week late and they called my references threatening to pursue legal action against me. I was about to pay them in full when the gm called me three times that day. I just told them to come pick up the merchandise. She had her store manager call and demand that I be home at a certain time. I told him he can come the next morning, when he picked it up, he said there were bed bugs, which I never recalled having. I guess they want me to pay for something else. They are the worse for business.

I was an employee for rent a center. I worked my full 2 weeks and I am expecting a paycheck. I relocated to another state. however today should have been payday fro me and I have not received a check. I called the old store and was told they didn't put my time in and had no plans on doing so. Now I am calling the store and no one is answering my calls.

Using fake voices when I do answer. I work nights every day. 12 hours . They are calling my family threatening them saying they are calling the police. They don't even call me off of there work number. It's either no caller Id or off of there cell numbers after there business hours also. I don't appreciate any of this.

I have been a customer for 17 years with them, never hsd a problem till a few months ago, i fell behind in payment n told them to come puck it up. They came abd refused to take it back because they say it has bed bugs. Scared my granddaughter i was in the hospital they call the phone 19 times a day, all i want them to do is pick it up.i cant afford
Unfortunately they would be risking exposing themselves and other customers to bedbugs if they picked up your sectional. That can be very costly and could destroy the belongings of others. While they certainly shouldn't be calling you nineteen times a day, I understand why they can't pick up your furniture.

I called rac store in Amsterdam ny route 30.i called to pay off my account I asked for a certain person which wasn't there ok that's fine.so MR.Ken VanAllen is attending me very rude with me very nasty over the phone told him my payments are usually on sat but calling today Oct 30 2017 to payoff my account. told him I dnt wanna deal with him because of his attitude n hangs up the phone on me. Not only am I a long time customer I always bring people in n want to pay my bill off that was rude n on called for. I will never rent from there ever n will never ever recommend any one. I've been going to this store since 2012. well I guess no more.please hire people with some skills.

I'm extremely insulted by the attitude of a store associate named Anna at your Greenville store on Laurens Rd. I came in to see about using my in store credit to make a purchase, and she was very rude. She didn't try to look my file up at all, and when asked if I could use my credit to buy something outright all she could tell me was that I couldn't, and refused to explain to me how using my $3400 in credit works. I have been a customer of your wonderful Asheville store for almost 3 years, and never had a problem with them being rude. If your Woodruff Rd. Store is as rude, I'll be taking my business to Aarons. Please do something about this absolutely rude woman.
customer service/rental condition
We have 2 beds from rent a center in Whitter, Ca. It's on Norwalk Blvd. Anyways, I'm usuay on time with my payments. The past few times have been a bit tight because my husbands hours have been cut. I have asked them not to call me at work and they do. When they say they are going to note something on my account they never do, they're supposed to get me a new boxspring because the one that got delivered is disgusting. It's very dirty. I did miss this weeks payment but because I'm not in the state right now. I had to fly out on emergency family business, my grandmother is in the hospital and she probably isn't going to make it. When explaining this to the woman she talked as if she didn't belive me. And I told her I would be back next week and I could pay it then. She had the audacity to ask me for my payment. And I quote "You can't just make the payment over the phone? " I'm dealing with a family emergency and you're still asking me for money?. She also argues with you when you are on the phone. It's very unprofessional. They also call you periodically throughout the day. Usually I'm at work and I don't appreciate being called that often, when I already know I need to pay them. I would appreciate if something could be done.

My couch I have had over 3 months still no has came to take it bc I informed them that it had bed bugs in it it’s getting rediculios if I put it out side then messes it up I will not pay for it n the bed room suits I jave no issue with them but they won’t pick the couch up but harrash me for the money for the whole bundle when I picked out couch I didn’t pick this one bc they said it was used from previous owner has had a dog and years in arms I’m only saying it now bc no one there would listen n I have been in n out of hospital but my kids arms r ate up and when I sit on couch it eats me up so we afvoid the living room Amy I need some answers or im goin to contact a lawyer and have all this shot burned and all my money bk

I always pay no matter if it’s late fees or what butvtoday was the last straw they sent a gentleman to my house in s van to pick up money not furniture bc I have a couch and 2 7 piece bed room suite the man in van called his boss I believe and I told him I have $100 now and I would bring the rest to them before they closed at 6 pm bc I had to go to bank bc I had just gotten out of hospital they must have thought I was lieing but have never missed a payment reguardless if I paid a late fee it got paid but he followed me 30 mins to bank which I didn’t feel comfortable to go to bc I was being followed by the man in s rent s center van with my two youngest kids with me from what I’m told this is harrastment and illegal so I’m not sure what y’all goin to do bout it but I will not rent nothing else from y’all again and y’all can come get this crappy furniture I have from y’all bc it’s not worth $1700 for each suit ! I will b contacting head quarters and my lawyer if no action is taken !
rental pay off
I called and spoke to an associate at the local store (Defiance OH) and wanted to make my final payment. The gentleman last week informed me it was $93.87 however the gentleman today told me it was $115.98. I asked him to pull the record of conversation and listen to the gentleman tell me that the amount I was paying was the final amount. I won’t pay a penny more. I asked to speak to his manager and he informed me he was the manager. I asked for the number to his DM. He informed me he owned the store. After calling me stupid/dumb/retarded and a “waste of his time” he hung up on me when I informed him I would not be paying the amount listed and only paying the amount quoted last time. (I keep a running tab of conversations and payments made as well as what the next payment would be). So I called and spoke to the 1-800 legal department. I will be filing a suit for harassment and anything else I can get my hands on simply to show this jerk that’s not how you treat customers.

The day the centralia il office delivered my tv the tv was not working right to the point I couldnt watch it someone came to try to fix it and he said he cant fix it and that he would send somebody else out to try to fix it 2 weeks went by and still nobody showed up now they are threatening me with court and legal actions im sorry im not paying for a tv that I havent been able to watch because it doesnt work I have told then more then 5 times or probably more but it has been worst customer service I have ever had
counch rental
I used to rent a stove and washer but they both were not working properly. The stove front piece has fell off several times on my foot and daughter's foot. The washer was staining my clothes. I called the office to take these items back. They said they are low staffed right now. They finally came and Jessica from the office said we owed 1 week for the couch and loveseat we were keeping. I pay every 2 weeks. I pay by card over the phone or go in the store.I paid my payment of $71 as usual. Then the following week they starting calling and showing up at my house saying I owe a week that I am a week behind. They were low staffed and I had to wait until they could pick up the items. Now they keep harassing me to where I don't want to be a customer anymore. I just paid them today and they still came to house it's embarrassing.
They harrassed me over a week payment and I was in hospital with a irrupted appendix got out waited 2 days on way to pay and they followed me to bank when I told them I would bring it to them before they closed at 6 pm they really had no right to harass me or stalk me !
flat screen
I initially night a 55" LG because I broke my 60" moving and it was football season. So I get the 55" home, remote don't function and I can't access the smart features because the TV won't synch and update the needed downloads. So after trying 3 useless remotes I gave up on them. In the process I found out they started my lease on a completely different lender plan than I asked for. Now 10-11 months later when I have $200 left to pay my TVs functions won't work unless I turn off my TV every time it freeze.
They bring me a LOANer tv. Again this one don't work with the remote and I can't access the smart functions. I take off work they tell me the manager off, I have her call him, the [censor] say he off he can't talk. This place is ghetto and sell before equipment

Employees are very rude and disregard the customers needs. We schedule appointments with them for merchandise pick up or drop off and their always hours late not caring about the rest of my schedule. What sense does it make to make a schedule if they will not keep their end of the deal?
I pay for benefits plus because I was told my merchandise would be covered even after paid in total for a period of time, also that I would be able to set payment arrangements if needed plus receive coupons and other benefits, but when calling for any of those things I get attitude, get yelled at, and told whatever they feel... I get phone calls, voicemails and letters with threats from them if they don't get what they want when they want it, but when it comes to them reciprocating with good sense of customer service and courtesy it's not even an option.
Especially Page and Lucia from Ren-A-Center in Lemoore CA. Worst customer service ever. It does make me wonder if they ever get trained for customer service but even if they don't a little education wouldn't hurt.
Little to say I will never be a customer for Rent-A-Center again my experience with them have been by far the worst I've ever had in retail stores.
samsung galaxy s8
I have been a loyal customer of rent a center since the day they opened the store all the employees are very nice to me and my husband i bought a Samsung Galaxy s8 a little over a month I had the phone maybe a week or two and I accidentally dropped it and cracked the screen i sent it in to be fixed and it took them 3 weeks to fix the fix the screen and when they sent the phone back the camera button wouldn't pull up so I couldn't take any photos and I couldn't call out of the phone so I sent the phone back to be fixed again and it took them a week to figure out they can't fix it so they told me they would have to send me a brand new one and that it should be in that following Monday well I'm going on my 2nd week without my brand new phone I am so mad it doesn't take them that long to figure out they can't fix my phone and to send a replacement I am at the point I'm done I'm bought ready to turn my stuff in and say I don't want it yea rent a center gave me a loner galaxy s7 to use till mine gets here but I'm paying on a galaxy s8 and don't even have one
during a removal of furniture my phone was broken by an employee
When removing their product from my home. The representative removing the mattress damaged my phone to where it is not usable. I have called the store in several times to inform manger. He is always unavailable to speak to me. The second time I called a representative told me they had other customers in the store and they will call be back when they can. I am very I'll about this! I am a customer as well. This is such an inconveniences for me. I have no pH and a wat for my children to contact me or the money to replace it.
sectional I rented
Hi my name is Joe I rented a sectional today from your Liberty Rent-A-Center in Ohio so while I fell asleep on it and I woke up in my arm had a big welt on it I got one of my side and one by my armpit and they're itching like crazy its 2:49 in the morning so I start looking over to the back of the sectional and I found two bed bugs so I was told by the store manager that it was a brand new sectional so I don't know how there is bed bugs in a brand new sectional that was just delivered today I'm going in today to talk to him thank you

We've been a loyal customer of your company for quite some time now. We've been through a few different management teams since we started to purchase our bed. We spoke with Gabriel today 9/21 about the situation. We started to strongly dislike the store during the hurricane when we were unable to work. Nobody was working, but yet they did not want to work with us. Ever since then we've had issues with paying out bill online and everything. After this bed is paid off (overcharging us for a used damaged bed) we will never come back to RAC. I mean ever.

I am presently renting a Dell Desk Top Inspiron. It crashes every 28 min. I spoke to a store representative, in regards to exchanging the Dell, for the online model ( MSi 27" Gaming Desktop Computer.) I was told it had to be ordered, which was fine by me, at that time, This is week One! Then I receive a phone call, stating that " I Had To Order It Online" because it couldn't be delivered to the store? WHAT! OK, so I try to order this PC online. Needless to say, I WAS DENIED! now mind you I an already renting a Pc from Rent a Center, I am asking for a REPLACEMENT! AN EXCHANGE! I already have an account? I have already made 2 payments since the time I informed the store of problem, and, of my request!... I am so dissatisfied as a customer...
