RentToOwn.org Be Cautious and Stay Informed

As someone who has explored the world of rent-to-own homes, I urge you to proceed with caution when dealing with RentToOwn.org. Reading through the experiences of others, it's evident that transparency and integrity are lacking in their practices. Customers have faced unexpected charges, aggressive sales tactics, and challenges in canceling subscriptions. It's crucial to stay informed, protect your financial information, and be wary of any red flags. Remember, your dream of homeownership should be empowering, not a source of frustration.

RentToOwn.org Same price as an hour w/my lawyer

While some of the information was moderately helpful, I could have spent the same amount on an hour w/my lawyer. These types of site are sometimes referred to as "boiler room operations". Fancy looking website financed by the monies they pimp out of the consumers. Like the Wizard of Oz it's all smoke and mirrors and very little substance. There are dozens of other websites, including government consumer protection sites, that would have the same for free. My advice; 1)Take due diligence before investing any money in this website. 2)Nothing is for free, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is. S. Macest

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Scam or Legit? My Experience and What I Learned

I recently received an email from RentToOwn.org, advertising a beautiful 3 bedroom, 3 bath home for only $395 a month. As someone who is tired of apartment living, I was intrigued. However, my mother always told me that if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Despite my reservations, I clicked on the email anyway and was prompted to enter my contact information.

But before I hit submit, I decided to do a quick Google search on RentToOwn.org. The first thing that popped up was a website called SiteJabber.com. I was shocked to see that the company had received mostly one-star reviews. In fact, the only five-star review seemed to be from someone who had almost fallen for the same scam as me.

According to the reviews, 100% of the people who signed up with RentToOwn.org had been ripped off. I couldn't believe it. How do these scammers stay in business? Then I remembered the old saying, "There's a sucker born every minute."

Thanks to SiteJabber.com and the honest reviewers, I was able to avoid being scammed by RentToOwn.org. I am grateful for the valuable time and money that I saved. From now on, I will make it a habit to Google any company or individual before doing business with them. It's better to be safe than sorry.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org: A Nightmare of Endless Calls and Creepy Messages

So, I was looking for some new digs to rent and stumbled upon RentToOwn.org. At first, I was intrigued by the idea of being able to rent a place and eventually own it. But, after some consideration, I decided not to go forward with this site. However, that didn't stop the calls from coming in.

I've been getting calls from all over the country and it's starting to get on my nerves. The calls usually start with a long pause, then a voice on the other end says "Hi... (my name)? This is_____ from RentToOwn, how are you today?" It's always a different number and it's always the same creepy message. What's even weirder is that when I try to call the number back, there's no ringing or anything. It just goes straight to the same message.

I've tried blocking the numbers, but they keep coming. I can't even cancel my account because I can't get into it. And even if I could, I doubt it would make a difference since they've probably sold my number hundreds of times already.

So, let me tell you, do NOT sign up or even click on their website. They will mess with you and it's disgusting. I don't know what to do about these calls, but I hope this review will save someone else from the same fate.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Pushy Credit Repair Services and Unreliable Service

I stumbled upon RentToOwn.org while visiting a friend who had just leased a property. My family and I were also looking to move to the countryside, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we lost our jobs and a traditional mortgage was out of the question for at least two years. I decided to try the free trial offered by RentToOwn.org, but to my relief, my bank denied the transaction.

Within 30 minutes of attempting to sign up, I received two phone calls from RentToOwn.org. I answered the first call and was greeted by a lady who asked about my credit and offered credit repair services. She suggested that I go through "credit counseling" to see how they could help me. However, I informed her that I was well aware of how credit repair works and that my credit report was 100% accurate, except for two collections from six years ago that would disappear in six months. I also informed her that by law, there was nothing any credit repair company could do to help me. Despite my explanation, she continued to push me to waste my time and money on something I knew was not legally possible. Eventually, I had to hang up on her.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend using RentToOwn.org. Instead, I suggest finding Lis Pendis for preforeclosures from online court records and writing to the owners yourself. This method may take more effort, but it is a more reliable and cost-effective way to find a property that suits your needs.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org: A Nightmare of Harassment and Deception - Stay Away!

This company called RentToOwn.org is a complete disaster! They claim to help you find Rent to Own Homes, but in reality, they do nothing but harass you and deceive you. I strongly advise you not to call them or give them any personal information. Trust me, you will regret it!
The first time I spoke to them, I was bombarded with calls from a girl who talked over me and didn't listen to anything I said. I blocked her so many times that I lost count, but she still managed to call me from different numbers. It was a nightmare!
Now, I'm receiving calls from a male who is just as rude and unhelpful as the first girl. It's clear that this company is operating under the radar, and it's almost impossible to find a corporate phone number for them. This is a huge red flag!
I'm planning to start recording their calls so that I can report them to the Federal Trade Commission. I'm almost certain that what they're doing is illegal. They're breaking a few laws, and they need to be held accountable for their deceitful practices.
If you haven't already, please do yourself a favor and stay away from RentToOwn.org. They are crooked, and the way they operate will drive you insane. Don't get taken by their false promises of Rent to Own Homes. It's just not worth it!
Sincerely, SY

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org and Lexington Law Scam: A Warning to Others

I was browsing the internet for rental homes when I stumbled upon RentToOwn.org. I decided to give it a try and entered my information. To my surprise, I received a call from a real estate agent within 30 seconds. She claimed that she could help me find a home to rent, but only after I paid $99 to Lexington Law.

I explained to her that I was a victim of identity theft and had been working hard to rebuild my credit. Despite this, she still insisted that I needed to pay the fee to Lexington Law before she could send me a list of homes to rent.

Feeling unsure about the situation, I decided to stay on the line while she contacted a representative from Lexington Law. The sales rep from Lexington Law tried to convince me that they could help me with my credit, but I knew that I could do it myself. I declined their offer and hung up feeling uneasy about the whole experience.

As I was still on the phone, I decided to do some research on both RentToOwn.org and Lexington Law. I found numerous complaints about both companies and realized that I had fallen victim to a scam.

I want to warn others about this experience and advise them not to do business with RentToOwn.org or American Rent To Own Homes. It is a scam that preys on people with bad credit and tries to take advantage of them. Don't make the same mistake I did and avoid these companies at all costs.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org: A Harassment Nightmare

I've been getting calls all day from this RentToOwn.org place and it's driving me crazy. This lady named Jessica keeps leaving me voicemails and I can't take it anymore. I finally decided to call them back and let them know that they need to stop calling me. But let me tell you, the people who work there can barely speak English. It was so hard to understand what they were saying.

They told me that they took me off the list, but the very next morning I got another call. This time it was a man who just breathed into the phone. I told him that I was supposed to be off the list and to stop calling me, but he just hung up on me. I called back and a woman answered. I explained the situation to her and she hung up on me too. I was so frustrated.

I called back again and asked to speak to a supervisor. They told me that the supervisor hadn't shown up for work yet. I wasn't going to give up until I spoke to one. Finally, they got someone who claimed to be a supervisor on the phone. I started yelling at him about the harassment calls and told him to stop calling me. But he hung up on me too.

I called back again and a woman answered. She told me that the supervisor was in a meeting and couldn't talk to me. I told her that I wanted to speak to the supervisor and finally, a woman picked up who claimed to be a supervisor. I explained everything to her again and told her how the last "supervisor" hung up on me. But she just put me on hold without saying anything.

Another woman picked up and also claimed to be a supervisor. I explained everything to her AGAIN and she said she was sorry and that she would take care of it. But I don't know if I believe her. If I get another call from this place, I'm going to lose it. Does anyone have any suggestions for what I should do if they call again?

Honestly, I think these people are scam artists. They should be investigated and arrested for fraud, harassment, and more. It's not right that they can just keep calling me like this. I hope someone does something about it soon.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Predatory Business Model and Exorbitant Fees

I recently had an experience with RentToOwn.org and it was not a pleasant one. I was charged a fee of 1.50 (seven) days after signing up, but I did not receive any welcome email indicating how much would be taken from my account. To my surprise, I was charged 49.50, which I found to be an insane amount. When I called them on the 9th day to complain, I was only offered a refund of 25.00, which I found to be very disappointing.

I was looking for Section 8 housing and came across RentToOwn.org. However, I found their business model to be very predatory and unethical. The entire process of renting to own is suspect, and the policy of GetRentToOwn.com only solidified my suspicions.

When I asked for a refund, they emailed me a form that I had to fax or mail back to them. This seemed very suspect to me, especially in this day and age when refunds can be processed quickly and easily online. It felt like they were intentionally making it difficult for me to get my money back.

I should have done more research before signing up with RentToOwn.org. I learned my lesson and will be more diligent in the future. I even had to cancel and replace my credit card to prevent any further charges from them.

I want to warn others about the dangers of the rent-to-own business model and the practices of RentToOwn.org. Just because a link is on a .Gov site does not mean that the practices are legitimate. I urge everyone to be careful and do their research before signing up for any service.

Before hanging up, I told the customer service representative that I would be posting this review. To my surprise, I received an email indicating that I would receive a full refund in 1-4 business days. I will wait and see if the refund comes through before changing my credit card.

In conclusion, I do not recommend RentToOwn.org. Their business practices are suspect and their fees are exorbitant. Be careful and do your research before signing up for any service.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org: A Scamming Nightmare - My Experience and Warning to Others

So, I had a bit of an experience with RentToOwn.org that I just have to share. I received a phone call from someone claiming to be with the website the day after I signed up. When I called them out on it, the woman I spoke to denied that they had anyone making phone calls to their members. I mean, come on, how obvious can you get?

She also tried to tell me that the $49.60 charge was in their user agreement and that I should have read it before signing up. But when I checked, there was no mention of any such charge. My husband got on the phone and threatened to call the BBB and the TBI if we didn't get our money back. And you know what? We actually did get some of it back.

But that's not even the worst part. I found out that they also run a website that supposedly rents out apartments. I mean, how many scams are they running? I'm reporting them to everyone I can to make sure they don't hurt anyone else financially. And if they don't give your money back, make sure to report them to the better business bureau. If enough people speak up, they'll have to face the consequences of their fraudulent actions.

It's just so frustrating that there are people out there who will take advantage of others like this. But at least we can do our part to make sure they don't get away with it. And who knows, maybe if we all band together, we can put an end to scams like this once and for all.

RentToOwn.org Updated Review: RENTTOOWN.ORG - Great Customer Service and Full Refund Issued

I just wanted to update my previous review about RENTTOOWN.ORG. After leaving a negative review, I received a call from the company. They wanted to reach out to me and find out what happened. I spoke with a customer service representative named Bree, who was very kind and helpful.

Bree informed me that she had tried calling the number I listed in my previous review, ***067, and it worked fine. I tried calling it this morning and it worked fine for me as well. She also mentioned that she was able to easily find the "contact us" link on the website, but when I checked again, I still couldn't find it. However, Bree did give me a second valid number to customer service, which is ***889.

Despite the confusion, RENTTOOWN.ORG is issuing me a full refund since I cancelled immediately after joining. I cancelled because there were no listings in the areas I was interested in living in.

If you decide to join this site, make sure to look for listings in the areas you want to live in. If they have good listings (especially in larger cities), take advantage of what this site offers. But if they don't have anything available, cancel immediately and save your cancellation email.

I want to retract my earlier complaint and give RENTTOOWN.ORG a second chance. Thank you to Bree and the company for reaching out to me and resolving the issue.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: A Predatory Telemarketing Scam Stealing Your Information

I was searching for a new home to rent and stumbled upon RentToOwn.org. Like many others, I was disappointed with my experience. The pictures on the opening page are not what you will find on the website, and they use identical pictures for different listings. It's misleading and frustrating.

What's worse is that there is no way to connect with the seller/renter of the home you see listed. It's all a facade. When I tried to cancel before the seven-day trial period, I was bombarded with calls at all hours of the day and night. It was overwhelming and unbelievable. I also started receiving endless marketing calls and emails. It's clear that all they care about is stealing your information and selling it to other predatory marketers, lenders, and con artists.

RentToOwn.org is a predatory, opportunistic, and unethical telemarketing scam. They provide no service, and their sole purpose is to get your $29.95 and sell your information. It's a complete violation of ethics, laws, and standards. They prey on vulnerable populations, such as those with less than stellar credit and lower incomes, who share the same hopes and dreams of providing a better home for their families.

I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to warn others about this scam. Don't waste your time or money on RentToOwn.org. There is nothing to see, just recycled pictures and false promises. The "Rent To Own" gorgeous palatial palace on their opening page does not exist.

If you still feel compelled to sign up, at least use a prepaid gift card so they don't have your real information. And leave a review to warn others about this scam.

I hope that the FBI and FTC will investigate and fine companies like RentToOwn.org for defrauding vulnerable people. They should refund the money of those they have defrauded and put these predatory companies out of business forever.

RentToOwn.org I got the same phone call as you did, when I wrote

I got the same phone call as you did, when I wrote them a nasty letter, the woman that called me back told a bald-faced lie and said that they don't have ANYbody sending phone calls to their members... how is that for a lie? I said, "Oh so, when he called the very NEXT day and said he was with rent to own. Org it was a lie? How coincidental is that? I signed up to your site and the next day someone calls me from YOUR site... she STILL said there was no phone call. Then claimed that the 49.60 was in their user agreement and that I needed to start reading websites before joining... I went STRAIGHT to their user agreement, and of course, there was no agree to pay 49.60, and my husband got on the phone and told her if I didn't get my money back we were calling the BBB and also the TBI... but we had already called the TBI and he told me to call them and tell them to send my money back and if I didn't hear from them to call him back... so my husband told them we wanted our money back or the TBI along with two of our friends from the FBI were going to get their hands in it... well, I didn't get the whole thing back but I DID get 44.00 of it back... and I wrote them and told them that the TBI AND the FBI would be getting my call back if I didn't get the rest of it by the 19th. I'll bet you didn't get that phone call either, we both just made up the same lie at the same time and don't even know each other. LOL I also found out that they are running a website that supposedly rents out apartments too, so I am reporting them to everyone I can to keep them from hurting anyone else financially. They changed all of their user information after our phone call, but we wrote it all down before they had a chance to change it... so if they don't give your money back, report them to the better business bureau... if enough people have the same truth about this diatribe of fraudulence... they will do something legal to them.

RentToOwn.org THIS IS A PREDATORY, OPPORTUNISTIC, QUESTIONABLY ILLEGAL AND UNETHICAL SCAM THAT SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN

LIKE EVERYONE SAYS ABOUT THIS PLACE... I inadvertently got myself involved doing web searches looking to rent a home.
The pictures they show on the opening page, are NOT what you will find on the website. Also, they will use multiple identical pictures of the same place for different listings.
There is no way to actually connect or get in contact with the seller/renter (because there is NONE), to the home you see listed, or that interests you. That part doesn't exist.
So, when you cancel prior to the seven days, so you won't be billed $29.95 a month (and SAVE EVERYTHING that you gave them, you will need it.)? THAT is when the calls begin mercilessly. All hours of the day, night and weekends. It's unbelievable. ALSO, you will then begin getting endless other marketing calls e-mails, etc. Therein, lies what IS EXACTLY all that they are. A predatory, opportunistic, bordering illegal, completely unethical, and shady, deceitfully, horrible telemarketing scam. All that they do is steal your info, in that you give it to
Them under the false pretense that they pretend to be.
They harass you, steal from you if they keep billing, or worse yet, convince you that for more money you will get access to more "access." They provide NOTHING to you, but sell your info to other equally insidiously horrible websites. This is THE SOLE POINT & REVENUE of their business, getting that $29.95, your info, and selling it to other predatory marketers', lenders, con-artists. That's it. There's no service they provide. From a cell, you can block them, but on a land line you can't just block them.
Like everyone says... THESE PEOPLE ARE PREDATORS, CON ARTISTS, AND OPPORTUNISTS WHO PREY UPON THE MOST VULNERABLE OF THE POPULATION. Those who have less than stellar credit, those of a lower income... And, yet, of whom share the same hopes and dreams of being able to provide a better place to home for their kids and families as any other person. I have never written a review before... But, this place? DONT DO IT. I may have been foolish to use this site, but not ignorant, nor ill-informed of the law. These people violate ethics, laws, and standards. I hope that they get shut down before they do more harm.
Fortunately, my situation is unique, in that I do have one resource, and I hope the read this before they call me back for the ten millionth time... EVERY phone call is saved... So, I have a record of how many times they bug me, all the lies they said, and of the verification TWICE that I did to make sure they don't bill me that $29.95, (or more!), and I will press charges if they do.:-)
If this doesn't convince you to not click on that web site, nothing will, and I assure you, THERES nothing to see, just a bunch of recycled pictures, telling you about the same affordable housing in your area, that every other web site is telling you, for free.
THERE IS NO "Rent To Own," gorgeous, palatial palace that you see on their opening page for "All Credit Problems Accepted," FOR ONLY $399.95!:-) It does not exist.
Stay humble, work hard, fix that darn credit problem from your college days that haunts you still, and someday we WILL get the home of our dreams. But, not from RentToOwn.com, and not this way.
Finally, if you still feel compelled to foolishly follow through and click that "Sign Me UP," button, at least, do it with a prepaid gift card... that way they don't have your real info!:-) And, then, curiosity satisfied, leave your review. The same 'Ol thing!
P.S. I hope that the FBI & FTC that review "website review fraud" that are false (see fine print listing below this box), ALSO work just as hard advocate, investigate, and fine $350,000.00 to companies like this that defraud the vulnerabilities of people using sites like these. I hope they use it to refund back the money of those this company defrauded, put the predatory companies, of this company and the many like them, and certainly the many that will relentlessly be calling you when your info is sold by RentToOwn.com out of business FOREVER!

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org: A Total Scam - My Disappointing Experience

I recently signed up for RentToOwn.org, hoping to find a great deal on a rent-to-own property. Unfortunately, the listings I received were all for North Carolina, and I live in South Carolina. I tried to change the city, but I couldn't figure out how to do it, so I decided to cancel my account after just two days.

However, three weeks later, I noticed that RentToOwn.org had charged my account. I was really upset about this, so I tried to call them several times. It took me four attempts to finally get through to someone, and when I did, they were not very helpful.

They told me that they would only refund me $25, and that it would take four days for the money to be returned to my account. If I wanted the full amount back, I would have to make a formal request, and it would be sent to their legal department.

I feel like I wasted my time and money on a site that doesn't have the correct information or access to what I'm looking for. I'm really disappointed in RentToOwn.org, and I would not recommend it to anyone. It's a total scam!

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Smoke and Mirrors, Little Substance

I gotta say, I wasn't too impressed with RentToOwn.org. Sure, some of the info was kinda helpful, but honestly, I coulda just spent the same amount of time talking to my lawyer and gotten better advice. I mean, these types of sites are basically just fancy-looking scams, if you ask me. They make themselves seem all legit and professional, but really they're just taking your money and giving you very little in return. It's like the Wizard of Oz - all smoke and mirrors, no substance.

Honestly, there are plenty of other websites out there that offer the same info for free. You don't need to waste your hard-earned cash on these so-called "rent-to-own" sites. My advice? Do your research before you invest any money in RentToOwn.org. And remember, nothing in life is truly free - if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. So be careful out there, folks. S. RentToOwn.org Terrible Experience with RentToOwn.org: Persistent Calls and Scam Credit Repair Services

I have had a terrible experience with RentToOwn.org. They have been calling me non-stop, trying to get me to sign up for credit repair services. Even after I spoke to one of these companies, which turned out to be a scam, RentToOwn.org continued to call me. They did nothing to help me and I ended up having to charge back my payment after they started taking money from my account without my permission.

I am extremely frustrated with RentToOwn.org and their persistent calls. I have told them multiple times to stop calling me, but I still receive calls from them twice a day. I am on the Do Not Call list and they should have checked the registry before contacting me. If they continue to call me, I will have no choice but to take legal action against them.

I would strongly advise against dealing with RentToOwn.org. They are not a trustworthy company and they do not have any legitimate rent-to-own properties available. Do not give them your phone number or any personal information.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Annoying Automated System and Suspicious Claims

RentToOwn.org is a website that claims to help people find their dream home through a rent-to-own program. However, my experience with this website has been nothing short of frustrating. Once I entered my information on their website, I was bombarded with calls from an automated system. I received calls from different local numbers in my area, which made it difficult for me to ignore them as I have a teenager and need to answer calls related to business.

The worst part is that I couldn't even tell anyone to take me off their call list. I tried to contact them through their website, but I didn't receive any response. It's the most annoying freaking system ever. I felt like I was being harassed by their automated system. I would receive 7 to 8 calls a day, and it was driving me crazy.

I did some research on RentToOwn.org and found out that many people had similar experiences. Nobody said on their reviews that they helped them get a home. It made me suspicious of their claims. They will try to get you to pay to get your credit fixed, even if you already have good credit. They were too persistent that I get it anyway, which made me doubt their intentions.

When I rejected their program, all I got was calls ALL DAY LONG AND EVERY DAY! It was frustrating and made me feel like I was being scammed. I would advise anyone considering RentToOwn.org to be careful and do their research before giving them any personal information. The automated system is a nightmare, and their claims seem too good to be true.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Disappointing Lack of Options and Poor Customer Service

I signed up with RentToOwn.org hoping to find a great deal on a home in my area. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that there were no options available in my location. I decided to cancel my account, but to my surprise, I was charged the full rate again. I immediately called the company to request a refund, but unfortunately, it never happened.

For the next three months, I called the company 2-3 times a week, hoping to get my money back. Each time, I was met with apologies and promises that my card would be refunded. However, nothing ever came of it. Frustrated and fed up, I eventually had to shut down my card to prevent any further charges.

One of the most frustrating things about dealing with RentToOwn.org was the lack of helpful customer service. Every time I called, I was met with someone who seemed to be working from home, with kids running around in the background. They never seemed to pay attention to my issues and would often promise to call me back or refund my money within a few days. Unfortunately, these promises were never kept.

Overall, I would not recommend RentToOwn.org to anyone looking for a rent-to-own home. The lack of available options and poor customer service make it a frustrating and disappointing experience.

RentToOwn.org Beware of RentToOwn.org: Misleading and Only for Bad Credit?

I just wanted to share my experience with RentToOwn.org. I reached out to them because I was interested in renting to own a home. They contacted me twice to try to move forward with the process. However, I quickly realized that if you have good credit, they won't talk to you. It's really frustrating because they don't disclose this on their website. So, if you have good credit, don't waste your time with RentToOwn.org.

It seems like they only want to work with people who have bad credit because they want to sign them up for a credit repair program that will cost them money. This is really misleading, especially for first-time home buyers who are so excited to finally buy a new home. It's really sad that companies like this can take advantage of people who are just trying to achieve their dreams.

I think it's important to be aware of companies like RentToOwn.org and to do your research before working with them. Don't let them take advantage of you and your hard-earned money. Shame on them for misleading people and not being upfront about their requirements.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Frustrating and Disappointing Experience with Poor Customer Service and Hidden Fees

This company, RentToOwn.org, is not a good choice for those looking to rent a home. The people who work there are difficult to understand and there is a lot of noise in the background, making it hard to communicate effectively. When I called to inquire about renting a home and what steps I needed to take, they immediately asked for my credit card information and charged me $1 before even providing any information.

I was promised access to listings of homes for rent to own, but when I tried to access them online, I was unable to do so for a week. Despite this, RentToOwn.org charged my credit card $49.60 to start a new trial, even though I was still in the so-called "free trial" period. When I asked for my money back, they refused and told me it would take up to 10 days to cancel my account.

In the end, I paid $100 for nothing. I would recommend going through a real estate agent instead of using RentToOwn.org. It's important to be cautious of companies that don't have a local area code, as they may not be trustworthy. Overall, my experience with RentToOwn.org was frustrating and disappointing.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Pushy Sales Tactics and Scam Alert

I was in search of a new home and stumbled upon RentToOwn.org. I was excited to fill out the information page to get more details about their services, but before I could even do that, I received a call from someone who was difficult to understand. It was a Sunday morning, and I was surprised to receive a call at that time. The person on the other end was very pushy and wanted my credit card information right away. They claimed that having my credit card information would speed up the process of finding a rent-to-own home. I had never heard of such a thing before, but I decided to play along and keep them on the phone for a while. I could hear the frustration in their voice as I asked them questions and put them off until the next day. My wife and I needed to discuss this further before making any decisions.

The person on the phone said they would call back, and I am eagerly waiting for their call. I hope they are ready for my "Marine, you've pissed me off" attitude when they call back. During the conversation, they also tried to sell me credit repair services from a law firm for the tidy sum of $59.95. I knew right away that this was a scam and decided to avoid anything to do with these people.

UPDATE: I found out that the law firm they were trying to sell me was Lexington L.L.C. I would advise anyone to stay away from them as well. It's a shame that there are people out there trying to take advantage of others who are just trying to find a place to call home.

RentToOwn.org RentToOwn.org Review: Misleading Listings and Hidden Fees

I was lookin' for some good deals on real estate and came across RentToOwn.org. At first, I was a bit skeptical 'cause they don't give ya all the info on their listings until ya sign up for a membership. The membership costs around 45 bucks a month, but they do offer a 7 day trial for just a buck. So, I decided to give it a shot and signed up for the trial.

Once I got access to the site, I saw some prices that were just too good to be true. I started gettin' a bit nervous and decided to do some research. I found a bunch of bad reviews and decided to cancel my membership right away. I didn't wanna take any chances with these folks.

The reviews said that even after ya cancel, they'll keep chargin' ya. So, I made sure to cancel my credit card too, just to be safe. I don't want these people takin' my hard earned money!

Overall, I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed with RentToOwn.org. They should be more upfront about their listings and not try to trick people into signin' up for a membership. And the fact that they keep chargin' ya even after ya cancel is just plain wrong. I hope they get shut down soon so they can't keep scammin' people.

RentToOwn.org Disappointing Experience with RentToOwn.org: Accused of Removing Serial Number from Playstation 4

I recently had an experience with RentToOwn.org that left me feeling frustrated and disappointed. I had purchased a Playstation 4 from them, along with a smart TV and other items, all of which were paid in full every month. However, when I tried to resell the Playstation 4, I was accused of removing the serial number from the product.

Now, why on Earth would I remove the serial number from a product that I had paid an obscene amount for? It simply doesn't make sense. I had no intention of stealing the product for extra cash, and the fact that all of my purchases were paid in full every month should speak to my character.

To make matters worse, the Playstation 4 was rarely used and had not been moved since the day I started paying for it. The only reason to remove a serial number is to prevent the product from being tracked as stolen property. As I was not the one who removed the serial number, the only reasonable conclusion is that it was done by RentToOwn.org themselves.

Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience with RentToOwn.org. The lack of a serial number on my Playstation 4 made it impossible to resell, which was a major inconvenience. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to rent or purchase electronics.

RentToOwn.org stay away!

I was looking for rental homes and found RentToOwn website. I entered my information and few minutes later I received a call from someone claiming to be a real estate agent. The person asked if I was interested in buying a house. I said yes and few days later I received a list of homes for me to rent. I was so excited and happy that I found this website. But later I received a call from my bank and was told that someone charged my credit card. They actually took $20 from my card without my permission! When I contacted customer service I was told that they took $20 because I didn't pay for the list of homes. Don't do business with them! It's a scam!

RentToOwn.org I joined and canceled within days of joining and they still charged my card the recurring fees

I joined and canceled within days of joining and they still charged my card the recurring fees. I called the telephone number on my bank statement, [protected], and got a message saying that this mailbox is not set up. I went back to the website to click on the "contact us" link only to discover that this link does not exist on their site. I did not discover this issue until a Saturday afternoon and when I called my bank, they refunded the charges but said that I needed to close my current debit card and get a new one. I now must wait 5 - 7 business days before I get my new card. It is clear that RENTTOOWN.ORG only wants your money and NOTHING else. AVOID THIS SCAMMER.
