Worst trash company we've ever dealt with! They selected which bags they wanted out of my trash can and left the rest laying in my alley. I called multiple times to get my trash picked up, and each time, there's an excuse, or they just keep rescheduling. This is unacceptable. They refuse to pick up my missed trash.

I scheduled to have a rug picked up. When they didn't arrive on the scheduled day, I called the following morning when they opened and was told it had to be rescheduled for 2 days following. I called again as they didn't arrive on the scheduled day. I was given the same response- reachedule in another 2 days. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was assured this would be resolved. When that pick up date came and went I called again and was assured I would get a call back. I didn't so I called again and that supervisor assured a call back. No response. Another call and now I'm told it will be another 2 days. No explanation and no pick up and absolutely no effort to escalate or even offer to refund me for the inconvenience. So now it is a week past the date I paid for and the rug is still waiting on my curb. Horrible service and no response.

Starting May 6th 2019 i have requested pick up of my container after cancelling services. they missed the pick up and i scheduled for pick up. they missed the pick up again on the date requested. At this point i no longer lived there and i received a final billed with a credit balance of -24.35. I waited several weeks and did not receive a check for the balance owed to me. I then received a bill again in July saying i owed 61.00. When i called and asked why, i was told it was because i didn't return my Container. I told the person what had happened and she said no worries i will submit a credit to your account. I asked when i would receive my check and she said i wouldn't because it is just a credit to my account. I told her i closed my account and they owed me a check. She took my information for the mailing of my check and said it would take a couple of weeks.In August i received another bill saying i still owed and calls everyday from recording (which i was told to ignore) saying i still owed balance. I called again and spoke to another person who said request for credit was denied. and there is no way to credit till it was returned. so informed them i didn't live there but the container was 20ft from road and in the drive way but i did not live there anymore . I was told they would set another appointment to pick up and as long as it was visible they would pick it up. and then a credit would be issued. Now being September, i received another bill threatening collections on the account. I called today and said i drove by and the can was still in the SAME SPOT NOW FOR ALMOST 6 MONTHS. i spoke to again a different person saying that she could see any notes except for May when the driver stopped on a busy road and took a picture of the can 20' from the end of the road and still didn't pick it up.She said it was there policy to not to go on the property to pick up the can. and that everything i have been told in 6 months was false. I offered to deliver the can to the facility to get my bill credited, she said no i cant do that. I asked if there was a person in charge she said yest but i can not have there contact information. She told i have to contact the new homeowners go to there house and put the can at the end of the road. So now i have contacted the new owner and again have a appointment set for pick up on Friday the 27th. which means they are going to send me to collections and i am going to have to dispute it with my the credit Bureau So beside this i have had in 4 years 8 missed pick ups for regular trash. My dragged 500 hundred down the road 4 times and struggles with customer service the whole time.

I received a lien and a lien release fee that is 218.00, So if I was having a issue covering my bill of 47.00 how am I going to afford to pay 218.00 im a single parent, there's no notices that come that states what these fees are before hand to give a person the opportunity to handle the situation, I m pretty sure if I knew that the penalty of missing a 46.00 payment that it would cost me 218.00 I would of did what ever it took to insure the payment was made, I think that it would be fair to any customer to get the charges and penalty rates before hand to give a person a chance to correct the issue.
recycle pick-up
last pick up was 8/20. missed last week due to holiday and storm. Trash picked up this week but no recycle (really due to Republic putting us off until next week on our normal schedule ; 4 weeks after last pick up. Called Tuesday of this week and filed for a pick up the next day. Today, 2 days later, recycle is still not pickedup. Am I to receive a credit for a missed pick-up? Why is Republic blowing us off in picking up our STUFFED recycle bin?

The email i sent July 29 is below. There has been no communication with me regarding this to date. I want to get set up on Auto Pay but your system won't allow.
Good morning.
I have been having issues with auto pay. I have been on auto pay with my credit card and suddenly it stopped working on your end. My credit card is the same. I've been receiving automated emails from Republic waste that my account is past due. I've called several times in this regard. I have deleted and re-added my card information and continue to get a message "We're sorry, we were unable to submit your payment. Please contact us for assistance." Problem is that no one is able to assist.
I have also deleted the card entirely and added my bank account information and get the same "We're sorry, we were unable to submit your payment. Please contact us for assistance."
I was told about a week or 10 days ago during my last call that someone from IT would be calling me but that call never came.
This morning I woke to find the attached service interruption notice along with a $35 fee added to my account.
I made another phone call to Republic waste and was told they would have IT call me because they are unable to figure out why your system won't take my money.
We made a payment on the phone this time to bring my account current.
I'm pretty pissed about all of this. I've spent entirely too much time practically begging to give my money to Republic Waste.
I need my account to be set up on auto pay with my credit card again. I'm told that the only way to do this is on the internet by me. Well, that simply does not work.
My service needs to continue. I'm due for a pick up today. This is a Hotel type business.

When I moved recently I hired Republic services then they would not pick up my trash at all so I had to terminate service and go with a different company. Many weeks went by without service. I called several times to try to give them a chance but they didn't care. When I cancelled I thought they were finally out of my life however I then received a bill from them! Unbelievable! They want payment for not servicing me at all! They are saying they will not remove it. I cancelled their service immediately when I realized they were not picking up my trash and I spoke to numerous different associates but didn't help. Nobody should go through this company and have all this un needed stress. I will be submitting complaint to headquarters and BBB and everywhere I can to pursue this matter. Awful company, very unprofessional!

This company has no problem taking my money but can't pick up my recycling materials. My bins have been sitting outside my gate for over 5 weeks. Called 25 times in the past couple of months. I'm always told "were sorry and that someone will be by in 24 to 48 hours to pick it up". [censored]! I will call the local tv channels to see if they want to video me when I bring a very large load of recyclables to my local Republic location and throw them over the fence. Since they won't do the job I pay them for, then I'll have to do it for them. I have also called my local politicians for help to get this [censored]ty company out of Hernando County. We may have to elect new county commissioners in 2020! I am starting a website to get a petition started to have these thieves thrown of our county. Our county fined Republic over $100, 000 last year alone. Where did that money go? The poor citizens didn't get a refund for the poor service. I thought it was against the law to defraud people by taking their money and not providing services. Maybe, all of us across the county should file a class action law suit against Republic. Maybe that will be on my new website. Maybe I'll call it republicservicessucks.com

I complained about this already and I see it only lasted for maybe a week or so and now again TODAY AUGUST 22ND your trucks are still blocking the parking spots in the parking lot behind McDonald's in Donaldsonville Louisiana! This has gone too far! Today not one BUT TWO trucks were blocking the parking spots! There's at least seven cars that park there in the morning between the hours of 5:45am to 6:15am, there were only enough spots for four cars to park. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP! IF NOT I GUESS I WILL HAVE TO GET WITH MY PARISH PRESIDENT, MAYOR, POLICE AND SOLVE THIS OURSELVES! GOOD DAY

I never opened an account for garbage service because I lived in San Francisco Ca. Irene said if I don't pay it will go to collections. I live in Donaldsonville Louisiana and we have a bus stop area in the back parking lot behind McDonald's on Marchand Drive. One of your company trucks are blocking the parking spots every morning and making it hard for the cars and bus to manuever around and pick up the kids because the lot is so small and there are other cars that's already parked. Would you please do something about this?! It imposes a safety hazard for our kids. Thank you

I canceled my service due to price. My contract was paid up to July 31 (Wed) and I was told my last pickup would be that Fri (Aug 2), my normal pick up day. My containers would be removed at $30/ea by Aug. 9. Aug 2 they refused to pick my trash up because my contract ended 2 days earlier. I was told they would send in a missed pickup and take care of it. The truck drove by again and never picked up. I called again, was told my account was closed. Was told they would put in a missed pick up ticket. Monday and the truck never shows. I call again, and was told my pickup was canceled because there was no address. They put the address in and I was told it would be picked up Tuesday. On Tuesday, the truck drove by AGAIN and did not pick up. I called AGAIN. Was told my trash would not be picked up because my account closed on July 31. I argued that I was told my last pickup would be Aug 2 . They told me too bad, that my contract ended and they do not pickup after that. Again, I argued I was told Aug 2. They rudely told me it was not their issue and that they refused to empty my containers. I now have rotting trash on my curb that Republic wants me to get rid of so they can pick up their containers and charge me $60 for pickup. The customer service team was rude, and refused to do ANYTHING to assist me.

It's been a week now and I have yet to get my trash picked up. We called every day since the missed Friday pick up and all we are being told is that they will have Management contact is which still has yet to happen. Horrible service! worker blocking road and not moving on my private property
This driver from republic garbage service was on our road and my neighbor was driving in basically a one-way my neighbor having a trailer hitch to his truck I asked the worker to please back up and he refused it is clear that is very easy for him to back up and he refuses this is also private property that this worker from Republic is on my husband asked him to move and so did my other neighbor and he refused I have this recorded and along with this you could watch the video this is very rude behavior we also told him we have a server Called and we need him to move the truck so we can get by again he refused he was a very rude by ignoring us and also working for this company he should respect his customers most importantly this man is on private property again I have this recorded I try to get a hold of the company by their phone number and nobody picks up so I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau if something is not done about this is happened on Thursday, August 1, 2019 his truck number is 2356 in El Cajon California at approximately two 2:30 PM

We signed up for services months ago, and had our trash picked up a total of 3 weeks. We called them constantly, and they said they would do a bulk pick up. They did NOT. The supervisor said he'd do it in person, which also did not happen. This went on for like 2 months. We had established that we wouldn't be be billed due to lack of services. But... they hiked our bill to $250.00. Yet, another bill says $100 (ish) for the same period. They threatened to cancel our acct, but when I called they stated our acct is already cancelled. Customer service said there are no notes on our (mounting) complaints. FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO AVOID TRASH RELATED HEADACHES. Their service is inexcusable!
property damage
On Thursday, July 4th around 10:00am, my neighbor and I were talked at the edge of my driveway. It was then that I noticed that my chain link fence was damaged with the end post being completed out of the hole in cement and it was laying about 6-8 inches away from the hole. There is a large piece of driftwood that is the inside corner of my fence, where the main post that is damaged is, and it was almost laying down vs. standing up.
I was out weeding in the front flower, bed next to the fence, Tuesday evening (7/2) around 7:30pm and the damage wasn't there then as I would have noticed it at that time. It also wasn't damaged when we put the garbage can out Wednesday (7/3) around 12:30ish (which is by the fence that is damaged) for trash pickup that day. Based on the damage and the timing I felt like the garbage truck may have done the damage when they picked up my garbage on Wednesday afternoon.
I checked my Ring video but unfortunately I had deleted everything prior to 3:03pm Wednesday, which the video that I do have shows that the garbage had been picked up by then because the lid on my garbage can is open. I deleted all of the videos prior to this time, without viewing each video, due to the volume of video footage I receive just from cars driving by.
On Friday, July 5th, at 10:06 I called Republic Services regarding my fence. I spoke with Kendall (female). She stated that she would have a supervisor call me. At 11:51, Wyatt (can't read the last name that he wrote on a business card) said that he received my information and that he would be out in an hour to look at my fence. He showed up around 2:00pm.
Wyatt was at my house for roughly 10 minutes, which at that time, he put my garbage can up against the cut in my fence post and verified that it was the same height but he didn't seem to think they were responsible due to the lack of black paint that the arm on the truck would have left and he said that the arm on the truck goes out, come in and then lifts. He said that because of this movement it wouldn't have pulled the post completely out of the cement. He asked if I had video, which I explained I didn't due to deleting everything but I have video from 3:03 pm on Wednesday to current. He pulled out his phone and told me that they picked up my trash at 2:42pm and that since I didn't have video he would have to look into this. He stated that he would be out the next day (Saturday) to take pictures. He then left. I don't recall him taking any pictures on Friday but I can't be sure.
I was home on Saturday, July 6th, until 4:00pm and he never showed up nor do I have any Ring video showing him coming over. I contacted Ring to see if I could get back my videos once deleted but I am not able to do that because I didn't actually download any videos to their server before deleting them.
My neighbor across the street has a Ring and I was able to connect with Sunday evening when he got back into town to see if he had any video. The link below is what he has but unfortunately it doesn't show the side of the truck with the arm.
On Monday, July 8th, I called Wyatt at 3:05pm. He did not pick up so I left him a message to see if he had any updates and that it was my understanding that their trucks have cameras and asked if he could pull the camera footage to see if they showed anything. He never called me back on Monday.
On Tuesday, July 9th, after not hearing back from Wyatt, I called him again at 2:52pm and asked him to call me with an update. He still has not returned my call.
On Thursday, July 11th, at 4:00pm I called and left Wyatt yet another message.
To date, he has never returned any of my phone calls.
I have filed a Police report (report ID 913291) with the Boise Police department.
I am extremely disappointed with the lack of follow through from Wyatt. If Republic
Services is NOT responsible for this, you sure aren't doing a very good job defending or proving that. If Republic Services IS responsible, they sure aren't doing the right thing, morally or ethically.

My trash was missed on 7/4 making it the 8 or 9 time this year. I called to report the issue and was told that someone would be out on Monday but they never showed. I called again on Monday to inform that no one showed and was told that they would be out on Tuesday. I then called the county Solid Waste Dept who asked if I had contacted the contractor (RS). I advised that I had, but mysteriously the county could not see any of the complaints. The Rep then told me to place trash on the curbside and it would be picked up on normal pick up day which is Thursday. I called RS back and was advised the same thing. Thursday finally rolls around and the lazy SOB's only pick up the blue container and just leaves the rest of the trash. I called them back and they tell me that someone would be out today and pick up missed trash, but as you already know, no one showed up. I later saw truck #2004 and 2011 in my neighborhood picking up trash. I flagged the drivers down and advised that my trash had been missed. The driver of #2004 told me I should have had the trash out earlier and that if I wanted to complain I should call the customer service number on the back of his truck. 9 days, 21 phone calls, and a lot of lies I still have trash outside my house.

Customer service lousy too. had for several years before having enough BS. They screwed up pail pick up as well, having me haul full can with garbage out in summer heat, back to the house because pick up was missed/skipped.
