Rain check for out of stock item
Paul, Manager working as Cashier on hand refused to give a rain check for out of stock item that was on sale
Tuesday April 18, 2023 at 3pm
#1- I ask for a raincheck,
#2- He spent about 5 minutes in the register/computer looking for something. Idk what
#3 - He told me there were not giving rain checks anymore.
#4- I told him look under the counter for a pad. Usually is under there
#5 he told me they were given no more raincheks again
#6 I told him I wanted to talk to Roop, who is a very nice manager and always helps me.
#7 Paul told me he was the manager and that Roop was not there.
#8 I told him he was supposed to help the customers. That's what a manager does and I left.
There was no abusive language or angry words. I was just making a statement as a matter of fact. Thanks!
Desired outcome: get a rain check for out of stock items and reprimand Paul for being lazy and so impolite.
Jessica
A lady named Jessica can be heard cursing up a storm about some kinda sticker another employee put on wrong..she went on and on every curse word ever imaginable! Being very loud and did not care who was around! Well I was at the register to pay and had a question for the cashier! The cashier asked Jessica the question I asked. She ingnored her and the cashier said I’m sorry Jessica is in a funk Becus of another employee mistake. I said well she should get outta that funk. Jessica started getting smart with me and I told her I heard her cussing and she said she didn’t care! I told her a contact corporate. She said she didn’t care. This lady Jessica is a Karen! Ask her a question and she gets smart or she flying off the handle. She’s not very professional!

Pharmacy department Rite Aid #10574
On 4/6/23 around 230pm i called the Rite Aid pharmacy located at 7118 3rd ave Bklyn NY .
A employee answered the call and i proceeded to tell her that i received notification that the medication was ready, So i asked her can she process the medication thru another insurance that has no copayment . She becomes aggressive and unprofessional stating that this is the only insurance she sees in my information and all my medication has only gone thru it and why didn`t i tell them from the start .I tell her that i have used the other insurance and i wasn`t going to argue over this. She abruptly puts me on hold then after a few minutes gets back on the phone and tells me that the other insurance only covers 1 of the 2 meds and other one needs a authorization and what do i want to do while speaking to me with a clear attitude so i said to wait until it gets the Authorization for it then i asked what was her name and she just disconnects the call by hanging up.
I proceeded to call back and the same employee answered the call then puts me on hold instantly . She finally gets back on the phone and i asked her for her name and she answers Sagyis and then i asked to speak to a supervisor so she puts me on hold . After a few minutes someone gets on the phone and says how can i help you . I told them i wanted to file a complaint against the unprofessional and rude treatment of the employee named Sagyis and needed her full name and spelling . She apologizes for the way Sagyis spoke and said she was sternly talking to me but not trying to be rude .Which isn`t professional at all , Does Rite Aid promote speaking in a stern way to customers ? She then replied by spelling the employee name but didn`t know how last name so i asked if your a supervisor shouldn`t you know your employee name and she replied i`m not the supervisor , I just a employee . I asked for her name which she said was Nellie. So besides the rude and lack of professional interaction i received i also have to suffer the juvenile actions of a pharmacy department when requesting to speak to a supervisor. If your calling or visiting a pharmacy most likely your have a medical issue so why do we need to go thru these experiences in Rite Aid to get our medication and help ?
Desired outcome: I would like Rite Aid to take this serious and take proper action . Rite Aid #10574 This employee shouldn`t be allowed or feel that she can behave in anyway but a professional way in speaking to Rite Aid customers.
A very rude pharmacist
Hello. I would like to file a complaint about one of your Pharmacists. It was around 3:30 p.m. Today, Tuesday, April 4th. It was at the Rite Aid store #04495 , 1201A South Division Street, Traverse City, Michigan, [protected]. Phone number is [protected]. The Pharmacist's name is "Adam".
When I went into the Pharmacy to pick up my prescription, there was no one at the Pharmacy pick-up window. So as I walked up, the Pharmacist had his head down, sitting on a chair behind the counter, playing some video game or something else that totally distracted him from the fact that I was standing there. He never looked up, he never acknowledged me, never said a word. I said, "hello" to him, but his eyes and mind never left that phone. When I told him that I wanted to pick up my script, he says, "what's the name?" (He acted like I interrupted something that he didn't want to leave). As he was ringing me up, he looks over some printout that said what vaccines I was "due for". He told me that I needed a "Shingles shot" because I am "over the age of 50". I told him that I have already had my singles shot. He then says to me in an irritated voice, "You are due for one". I politely told him again that I have already had the Shingrex shot. He looks down at the printout and says, "well, it's not on here. Where did you get it?" I told him that my Husband is a former Pharmacist for Rite Aid (he worked for Rite Aid for 23 years) and that he gave me a Shingrex vaccine. He then looked me square in the eyes and said, "Well! He never reported it!" and then THREW my prescription bag at me on the counter! He points at it and said, "There ya go!" He was SO RUDE! Apparently, he was either angry that I interrupted his video game or he was angry because I turned down a shot that he wanted to get credit for. I'm sorry, My Husband has been a Pharmacist for Rite Aid for 23 years; He NEVER treated a customer like that! That is not something you do! I was never rude to this guy, he is just always lazy and rude every single time I have gone in there. I'm done with Rite Aid if this is how your Pharmacists treat their customers! Is this how he treats everyone who comes in that store? Someone needs to do something about this very rude and lazy Pharmacist.
Desired outcome: I would appreciate it if someone would please get back with me? Maybe he needs to retire; he certainly doesn't care about customers. Maybe a new Pharmacist that won't throw prescriptions at people.
I received the wrong medication
I received the wrong medication around 6:00 April 3rd 2023.
Originally it was ready for picked up !
She assured me it would take 5-10 for it to be ready! Said ok.
While I was outside in route to my destination I didn’t pay attention and took one with my water because I wanted to get it in my system to help with the pain and symptoms.
When I finally went to home and look at in the bag Ana bottle to take the medication. I realized it wasn’t what I normally would have and the label said one tho g and the bottle had something completely different in the bottle.
It’s very upsetting and I try to call multiple times but no one answered in the pharmacy or the store.
I’m so upset .
Desired outcome: None no one ever answered the phone
Poor Customer Service
The pharmacy located @ 95-14 63RD Drive, Rego Park NY 11374 only has one (1) customer service representative helping the customers. This causes long lines of people waiting for assistance.
Also, in my case the pharmacist technician did not provide me with all the medications I needed from my prescription, and I had to come back to the pharmacy to request the missing medicine. They did not have the medicine available at that moment and told me to come back again. Having to make several trips to the pharmacy to pick up the medication it is time consuming and shows lack of consideration for the customers, specially because the pharmacy is not located nearby my house.
This is not the first time I have issues with this pharmacy. I am going to look for pharmacy services somewhere else.
Employee…”Teresa” at Rite Aid Pharmancy at Wandemere, Spokane, Washington.
After being a very loyal Rite Aid customer for the past 40 plus years, I will be looking for a new pharmacy immediately.
Teresa (refused to provide last name) has made numerous errors on prescriptions, degraded me in front of other customers, pointed her finger in anger, etc. She is one of the pharmacists. The most resent event occurred at Wandemere Rite Aid, approx. 3:00 in the afternoon on March 29, 2023. I would like to share some of my experiences with her.
This past summer I received 2 separate eye drop prescriptions for an infection.
After several days of use my problem was getting worse. I went on google and realized Teresa had mislabeled them….switching the directions. I returned to Rite Aid, explained I was upset, …she grabbed both prescriptions, ripped off the labels and switched them. She then said, “if you don’t like the service why don’t
YOU become a pharmacist?” This was said VERY loudly…many customers hearing. I asked if I could speak with someone about this and she said, “go ahead….see if you can do any better” and walked away in full blown anger. The mistake was hers, not mine.
I was there yesterday and asked about an inhaler and insurance. She explained
It could not be filled until April 12…I fully understand that. I told her. I was going to Hawaii for 2 weeks and asked if there were Rite Aids in Maui….she immediately became angry, pointed her finger at me and said, “I’ve dealt with you before”…nasty tone of voice. I was asking if there was any way I could get my inhaler filled one day earlier…..she became enraged. I left, found the store manager and asked how to file a complaint.
There are other examples…I had an antibiotic for an infection….had to call numerous times to get it filled…
I am a retired teacher…I have excellent people/communication skills. I do not have a confrontational personality. I have found all the other pharmacists so nice to deal with….but, I can’t risk her incompetence and my health.
This is the most important part….I no longer feel safe having her fill my prescriptions. She has mislabeled drugs, yelled at me, purposely degraded me in front of others……I can not risk taking drugs that are mislabeled. I also don’t care to be belittled, yelled at, etc……She is a danger to patients with no remorse, no apology and I won’t put my own health in danger because of her.……
I would like to know how you plan to handle this. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Robbie Anderson

Junk Mail
My husband and I have been married five years and Rite-Aid has sent junk mail to my husband's ex-girlfriend, Julie Berthelote, the entire time we've been married I've written two letters requesting Rite-Aid to stop, and my husband has written one. Julie has married and relocated to Florida. There is no communication between my husband and Julie. We don't want mail addressed to her showing up at our house.
Perhaps you should contact her and ask for an updated address.

I told him about my problem He stated that he has two people to take care of his Pharmacy and I told him him just needed by diabetic supplies he stated that they will me at 6pmso I called the next day then they stated this time it would be Monday. Then i called Wal-Mart to transfer the prescription and gave her the info from Wal-Mart she said it would be a few hours. It takes a few hours to fax Wal-Mart I will not be using Rite aid ever again!
Pharmacy
Rite aid pharmacy in neighborhood closed. All customers were forced to take their business to 911 Morris Park Bronx NY Branch. Their service is terrible. This morning around 8:30-8:45 am, I stopped by this Rite Aid to purchase a journal when one of the morning shift leader had the nerve to come into my line and accused me of stealing in front of EVERYBODY! She made me take everything out of my jacket pocket and didn't even apologize for being wrong! I am a U.S Army combat veteran. I refused to be disrespected! I want this dealt with!
Desired outcome: That shift leader needs to be repremanded. I want maximum punishment!
Pharmacy Department
On Feb. 22, 2023, they refilled a prescription that had "no refills"; neither I or my doctor requested a refill, and it was refilled in 7 days; the original was filled on Feb. 14, 2023. When I tried to return it, I was told to keep it and maybe I could use it at a future date. I had to pay twice for a medication I didn't need or want nor can I use is, since I still have extra from the first bottle that was filled.
I understand they do not take medication back, but my husband picked up ( what he thought was my regular meds) he had no idea what was in the bag. This was NOT our mistake, it was an Error on the Pharmacy for refilling a prescription with NO REFILLS on it! there have been many issues with the staff there, they always mix up something.
very disappointed with Rite Aid, they use to be very good.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and not have to go through this and worry everytime i pick up medicine if its the correct medication.
Pharmacy staff
Store 06086, 4300 Elverta Rd, 2/13 approx 7 pm Was harassed by staff and publicly embarrassed when the clerk, speaking in a loud voice, proceeded to lecture me about my "narcotics use" (I have cancer) and then after I started to walk away from the interaction, proceeded to yell at me from her place at the register. The conversation escalated further, I...

Hi my name is suhad I go to rite aid on 3rd ave, Brooklyn, Bayridge, their number is +[protected]. I am not trying to be hurtful to anyone but I feel like I was not treated the right way and I had to fix my own prescription. I dropped off a copy from my doctor for a medication called xcopri he wrote 25mg and he didn’t know the company doesn’t manufacture it that way. The next available dose is 50mg. The pharmacist who filled it made changes on the prescription to 25mg, half tablet and she didn’t call. When I picked it up, I looked at it? It didn’t look right? I called, I spoke with the pharmacist, she said bring it back it’s wrong, next day another new one was there gave me the new change in quantity and just said did the doctor say to cut it in half, and she said sorry, I went back with some research? The pill cannot be cut. Now after all of this the doctor ends up calling them and fixing the mistake that he is not aware of from the start? I know I wrote too much but my point is why do all of this? Why non if these pharmacists took the time to search a medication they are not familiar with instead of saying we didn’t fill it. And the main one I did not hear from her at all? Thank you.
Desired outcome: Feed back
Pharmacist rude and unhelpful
2/18/2023 - 5:50 PM I was prescribed the wrong medication and dosage schedule by the ER doctor a week ago. It was supposed to be Macrobid 100 mg taken twice a day. I was prescribed Macrodantin, which is taken 4 times a day. The pharmacist SHOULD have caught the discrepancy because the dosage was wrong for Macrodantin. I discovered the error myself 6 day...

The last several months this store has gone from top notch pharmacy- to complete unprofessional toxic customer service. The old pharmacist as well as those that work alongside them treated customers with respect as well realized often customers have been coming to this location for well over 20 years. If they did not have your script available, they would let you know and would also take the time find the manufacturer of a script that worked best for you. 99 percent of the time it would be a day or 2 and they would have it- if that 1 percent they could not get it sent direct- they would call other stores in the area to make sure your customer was taking care of.
It now will take 3 to 5 business days and 3 to 4 hours on hold to no one answering in the pharmacy PHONE! So, then you call the front of the store- they try and ring the back of the store- still no answer. The reason for this - as well have made several trips to which- scripts were not ready when I was told they would be.
I have also watch complete disrespect in how your employees speak to those asking questions. If you have chosen to work in the field of filling prescriptions-you certainly should be educated enough to realize you will have elders or those very sick and in need of compassion instead of screaming or speaking down to. Without customers Rite-Aid will not have a need for your pharmacy and it is very clear that this has continued for several months now. Rite Aid your loss a great asset to your company with the previous employees that worked in this pharmacy. It would be in your best interest to remind your current employees to answer the phone as well to accommodate your customers. It only takes a few minutes for your customers to call the pharmacy board and file a complaint as well- call other locations to see if in fact a certain script that works best for you is available and other pharmacist that work for Rite-Aid said all they have to do is call and order it.
Corporate needs to have district managers throughout the country when multiple complaints have been made-pull a pharmacist from another location to fill the position with a bonus will at said store until you are able to fill the position.
Corporate for pharmacy on News Road in Williamsburg, VA.
When Rite aid closed the Merrimac Rd. location in Williamsburg, VA. location 4–5 months ago with 1 week of warning to customers, the News road location became so overwhelmed that they rarely can answer their phones. It used to take our family 10–15 minutes, once the prescription was ready on the same day it was called in to go, pick up and return home. It...

I had a prescription order called over from my physician on 1/16/23 for the medication Dicyc! Omine 20 mg for 120 pills. I use the Rite Aid store number 4515 on the corner of Mount Morris Rd and Genesee Rd Mount Morris, Michigan Rite Aid pharmacy informed me on 1/16/23 that the medication was on back order and they would have it in 1/19/23. Rite Aid still hadn't received the medication. I called today 1/19/23 the pharmacist informed me he only had 40 pills, and that I should call other Rite Aids for my Dicyclomine. I called the Rite Aid on the corner of Richfield and Genesee Rd, store number 4519 Flint, Michigan. They had 80 pills of the Dicyclomine, and that I would have to speak with the Pharmacist. The pharmacist informs me she could not fill my prescription with the 80 pills of Dicyclomine 20 mg they had because they don't fill partial orders, I can only get my prescriptions filled at my original Rite Aid pharmacy. I know that's a lie. She knows what the Dicyclomine is used to treat, who wants to stay in the bathroom literally all day 3-5 every day!
Desired outcome: I would like my prescription filled by whatever Rite Aid pharmacy that has any Dicyclomine.
Pharmacy
Pharmacist unprofessional and rude. On 01.12.22 my Dr prescribed a medication and sent it to the pharmacy. It was not until 01.13.22 I received a text saying delayed for approval. This is Friday late afternoon of a 3-day weekend. I called. David Bol ? not sure on the spelling of his last name, told me I was stupid and had no idea what I was talking about. I tried multiple times to explain to him I have 2 insurances. He hung up on me. I called the main # of the Ephrata WA store and spoke to the store manager. She tried to assist and was able to at least send the information to my Dr's office.. Now on 01.18.22 I get a text finally my rx is ready. But with a $10 co-pay. Wrong, my secondary insurance picks of my co-pays. I again called David the pharmacist again, put me on hold and had someone else talk to me. Yet again my rx is not ready as David dropped the ball again. I am only on disability income and do not have funds to pay the co-pay. So now I have gone a week with out my medication.
I do not understand how a pharmacist can be in a position with no accountability.
Desired outcome: reprimand in some form,
