Apparently R2G’s salesmen are given the okay to blatantly lie to customers in order to make a sale! We purchased the Cindy Crawford sectional from Rooms to Go in September, along with the extended warranty, on the selling point of them replacing the furniture if they cannot remove the stain (specifically cat urine). We asked the salesman more than once to make sure that if our senior kitty cat pees on the sofa (this has happened in the past so it was a very important issue for us) it would be covered, and each time the salesman said that if the couch can’t be cleaned and returned back to new, INCLUDING THE SMELL, that the pieces would be replaced. Fast forward to two months later and our cat peed on the sofa like we were worried about. We try to file a claim and they deny it stating that they don’t clean or replace due to odor, even though there is urine so there is definitely a stain despite it being dry now so that makes no sense in itself. They refuse to even try to clean it (which probably wouldn’t remove it fully anyway) despite the fact we were promised multiple times that it would be cleaned or replaced if this were to happen! I am fully prepared to leave bad reviews everywhere I can find as well as warn anyone looking for new furniture to stay away from Rooms to Go. Basing a business model on deceit and lies is not the way to go!
