I would give zero stars if possible. I was in the market for a new vehicle and had my eye on one that was scheduled to arrive on a certain date. The dealership's policy was first come, first serve, which I understood. They sent me the actual build sheet from Toyota with a quoted price from this dealership. A manager even confirmed in writing that this was the agreed-upon price. However, when the vehicle arrived and I went to the dealership to finalize the purchase, I discovered the price had been hiked up by $10,000. Additionally, they insisted I could not buy the car unless I also purchased paint protection and dent insurance, adding over $4,000 in extras. It was the most unpleasant experience I've ever had with a car dealer. I ultimately decided not to buy from them and I would warn others to be wary of doing business with this dealership. My experience was a classic example of the deceptive practices you sometimes hear about with car dealers. For anyone looking to buy a vehicle, I recommend using an online car buying service, which is less likely to engage in such underhanded tactics.

Roseville Toyota I would give 0 stars if it let me

I would give 0 stars if it let me. I was in the market for a new vehicle and the one I wanted was coming in on a specific date. I was told it was first come, first serve which was understandable. I was sent the actual build sheet from Toyota with a price of *** on it from this dealership. I was also told by a manager in writing, that this was the price. When the vehicle arrived, I ran straight to the dealer to start the process. When I got there the price was now 10k over *** and I was told that they would not sell it to me unless I bought paint protection, dent insurance and ***. This alone was over 4k worth of add-ons. It was the worst experience I ever had with a dealer. Needless to say, I did not purchase from them and caution anyone from ever doing business with this dealership. My experience was exactly the type of slimy tactics you hear dealerships pulling from time to time. I urge anyone in the market for a vehicle to just use an online service like *** or *** as they will not pull these kinds of stunts.

While I was waiting for my vehicle to get serviced I was walking the lot a sales guy came to me I noticed a 2022 truck looked really nice so I test drove it only had 7 miles then We negotiated waited my turn for finance and when I was signing paperwork Sales Guy came said He couldnt find truck somebody was possibly test driving it then after 20 minutes they located it needed to take it to detail and sales guy came saying couldnt find keys I was ready to walk out then it took 2 hours to detail and now not even 3 weeks since Ive had the vehicle the odometer reading doesnt show on panel and when turned on makes a real loud noise like coming from the engine and when I went onto my app the reading says my vehicle has 872 miles which I know for a fact I have not driven my vehicle that many miles. *** When I call Toyota They decline to listen to Me and Propose a resolution !

Roseville Toyota My wife and I bought a new Corolla; dealership issues arose during our drive home.

My wife and I purchased a new Corolla several weeks ago from this dealership and when we started driving home we noticed the gas tank was only 1/4 of the way full. We called the dealership the next day to inform them and they told us to drive back and they would fill it up. We told them that it doesn't make sense for us to do that and is an inconvenience to us for something that was their doing. We mentioned the salesmen even signed off saying that the tank was full when it wasn't. Despite numerous calls to and from the dealership as well as an online complaint form that we completed to the parent company, the dealership keeps responding with the same offer for us to drive to the dealership to get the gas. The salesman called my wife yesterday and left a voicemail with the same offer and making it sound like he was doing us a favor.

I purchased a Dodge Charger was told on paper no dent scratches. Went to drive the next day and the passenger door is all scratched and paint peeling off. Just wanted if fix. There is a disrespectful sales manager that just keep saying its to expensive to fix. They sold me a car for *** and wont even fix the door they hide from me. I just want it fixed.

We purchased a RAV 4 Hybrid from Roseville Toyota be on 11/11. We traded in my Wifes car for $25K. Based on estimated payoff of $12,300 to $12,500 we were then going to use $8K for the down payment and they said they would send us a check for the remaining $4,500-$4,700. They also told us we needed to fill out a check in the amount of $8K, that they would not cash. We were assured this numerous times by the sales team and finance managers. They said they just would hold it and when they got the title they would destroy the check and everything would be fine. Then, a week later my wifes bank account was hit for 2 overdrafts as they sent the cash to be checked. She was charged $30 dollars each time for a total of $60 dollars. They apologized and then said it was up to us to provide proof of the overage charges, and then they could reimburse us. Even though they admitted their mistake. If that wasnt enough it is now 12/7 and we have not received our check for the balance of her trade. On 11/22 we received a notice from Chase that her loan was paid off and the title was sent to the appropriate groups. We received another notice mailed 12/2 stating it was updated and showed payed off. Which means something iffy was happening. The dealership is sending us conflicting messages from in person or email. They are blaming everyone else for their lack of ability to fulfill the contract and it should not take this much pushing for us to receive the remaining equity. We were assured on 2 different occasions that the check was only a day away and just needed to be signed (this was a in person conversation on 12/1) And then this last week my wife was told there is no check in the file or any evidence of it being processed or worked on. I feel like we are having to fight to receive the contracted amount and are being given the run around. We have been reasonably patient and have tried all forms of communication with no resolution.

In July I bought a 2017 f350 xlt from their livermore location for about the door pricing of 75 thousand dollars . I have been waiting for over 5 months for license plates and registration and havent received anything . I called the dmv and they said that the dealership hadnt submitted anything . I called the dealership and they said that they have been having issues registering the car in Californian . So they asked me to drive two hours to their Roseville location so they can buy my truck back and sell me another one . They wanted to underpay me for my truck and not work on the price of another one . I asked that they just give me the pap work required for my truck and the tags . They said they wouldnt be able to do that . They need to be held responsible for this . Now I cant drive my 75k truck on *** road and the dealership that sold it to me seems to not care of be willing to take responsibility for this

One of the regular service back in May Toyota employees scratched the truck bed. They applied clear coat to try to cover it up. I called and spoke with a representative. On June 6, the representative sent me an email admitting they scratched the truck. Because of a little dent on the bed, he made two offers. The first is to buff the scuff marks. The second offer is to credit me $500.00 for my deductible. I have not had time to file sooner because I've been working two jobs. Due to COVID-19, I've been working 70 to 80 hours a week between my jobs.

Roseville Toyota I bought a car from Roseville Toyota

I bought a car from Roseville Toyota. I was offered a $2,500 discount on the $10K dealer markup on Rav4Prime by ***. When I went two hours to RT, the car I thought I was buying had been sold. I then had to travel to Livermore with the salesman to pick up another car. When I returned, I negotiated a deal. I thought the salesman was making a concession on the dealer markup. I was also charged Toyota finance rate of 6.44%, far higher than other lenders! I also discovered that there was no discount in the dealer markup. I then attempted to return the car to RT and was told that I did not have the right. This was a misstatement of the law. I am a lawyer. The dealer then offered to give me a roof rack (roughly $500.00). I accepted and tried to negotiate another charging cord and a trailer hitch. The dealer, after I complaint to Toyota corporate, offered to pay half of the charging cord. My husband would not agree; he was very upset about how I was treated.

On June 11 they pulled my credit to give me a price on a new car. They did not provide me a copy of said credit report and increased the price by 10,000.00. I would like them to remove the credit request from my credit report and they need to provide me with a copy of said credit report if they did actually pull it.

Roseville Toyota I bought Toyota Rav4 2019 from Roseville Toyota on March 20,2021

I bought Toyota Rav4 2019 from Roseville Toyota on March 20,2021. Within two weeks we noticed two small cracks in windshield. So, we decided to repair it through our insurance and got appointment in Safelite showroom. Shockingly, the manager told us that it was already repaired, i.e it was broken and repaired before our purchase. Hence, it can't be repaired and just needs to be replaced. As it was just two weeks from purchase, he suggested us to contact the Toyota showroom as it was not our mistake and they should do it. I was unaware that I should contact the sales department, instead I contacted the service department. But the response I received form them was horrible and weird.( They compared a human body with a car and asked me what will you do if you face issues with a human!). Then, my friends advised me to contact the sales department and the Assistant Manager told us to visit the showroom directly to talk with the General Manager. No response from him too!

Roseville Toyota On Memorial Day weekend I brought my truck in for a routine oil change

On Memorial Day weekend I brought my truck in for a routine oil change. I had installed a dash cam a couple months prior, I didn't think I would not need to use it in this situation but boy I was wrong. After I had came back to pick my truck up from service I decided to look at my dash cam footage and what I saw shocked and disgusted me. Especially knowing that what I saw could have been done multiple times prior in all my other services and I would have not even known. In the video one of the 2 techs that was working on my truck was about to pull my truck into the service bay, joking about how they almost crashed 1 vehicle into a wall that day and that it almost happened to my truck as well. Then the most disgusting part about it, they were looking at my carbon fiber shift knob I had and one of the techs told the other one "SPIT ON IT" multiple times. I heard the tech making spitting noises. I have contacted them multiple times and all they been doing is giving me the run around.

Roseville Toyota Purchased Llumar paint protection film from Roseville Toyota on 08/01 for $1,695.00

Purchased Llumar paint protection film from Roseville Toyota on 08/01 for $1,695.00. Toyota sent the truck out to a third party to professionally apply the film. The truck was returned with bubbling, edges curling throughout the front bumper and won't stay down which allows dirt and debris to enter under the film. Toyota neglected to outline a warranty from the installer. There is no specified herein that states there is no replacement of the product allowed. The vehicle was brought in twice for correction. The first time, Toyota assumed only a correction (shaving down the defected film) is necessary instead of replacing the product and installed correctly. The second appointment they offered another correction and we declined that service. If another correction was warrant on the vehicle then the product should be reapplied at this point. The assistant manager, *** refused to have the third party reapply the Llumar film . Them correcting the vehicle leads to less protection to the front bumper which leads to damages on the paint.

Roseville Toyota On February 18, 2022 I was sold a new vehicle with the verbal agreement from the sales department that they would add crossbars and a trailer

On February 18, 2022 I was sold a new vehicle with the verbal agreement from the sales department that they would add crossbars and a trailer hitch to the vehicle at no cost to me if I were to buy the car. I spent a month and half calling the sales department to have this work completed. The sales department would dodge my calls or send me to another person to go through the same process to be ignored. The sales department eventually told me they could give me the crossbars and trailer hitch at their discounted price and would get back to me with numbers. Again, the sales department would dodge my calls and would not give me a price. Finally, the sales department told me to go to a third party to have the work completed. At this point I went to the sales manager who informed me that verbal agreements are against company policy and the sales person was reprimanded and written up for his misconduct. The sales manager told me he would get me prices at cost to do the work. Again, another week went by and I had to make multiple calls to finally get prices from the sales manager. From there the sales manager told me he would get this information to the service department to schedule the work. The service department called to schedule work unrelated to the crossbars and trailer hitch installation and informed me they had no knowledge of the crossbars/trailer hitch installation. I would like Complaintsboard.com's help in resolving this issue with Roseville Toyota sales department in keeping their verbal agreement to add the crossbars and trailer hitch to the vehicle at no cost to me. Thank you.

Roseville Toyota I bought a 2021 Camry and insurance from Roseville Toyota in August , but refund issues persist.

I purchased a 2021 Camry from Roseville Toyota in August along with the vehicle insurance. I was told if I pay off the car I receive a refund for my insurance. January 2022 I paid off the car, took the pay off letter to the dealership on January 13th. They told me it will take up to 8 weeks. Well, it's been 11 weeks and no refund yet. I called the dealership and I'm always transferred to a department where the phone just rings so 4 times I have left my name and number for a call back and NOTHING. March 23rd I called AGAIN and told receptionist my issue so she took my name and number and told me she will have someone return my call. Well, no calls have been returned. On March 28th, I called again, and this time spoke to someone in customer service who told me I had to send an email to their support for a follow up. I sent an email THAT day, and received an email from a person, Internal Sales Director, asking how my car search is going. I responded back about what was going on and the insurance refund. I sent the email and never heard back, and STILL have not heard back from the cancellation email. I'm getting the run around. Per the contract papers if the car is paid off within a certain time a refund is awarded, and within 5 months my car was paid off. They don't plan on giving me the refund. I'm getting the run around. I want my refund. I paid for that insurance. I honored that contract. I need help. They sell all kinds of stuff at you buying a car, you can't even walk into a dealership and they are all over you pushing you to buy a car and all different packages but now when money is owed back they ignore you. Can someone please help me. I need that refund money and I paid my car off early like it says.

Roseville Toyota On April 6, 2022, our 2014 Toyota Camry unexpectedly accelerates, leading to an accident

On Wednesday April 6, 2022, our 2014 Toyota Camry unexpectedly accelerated. Despite pressing the brake, the car continued to skid and resist stopping, resulting in a collision with trees in a parking lot. We contacted our insurer, Geico, and the car was towed to a Toyota Dealership. Toyota initiated an investigation, but we were not provided a rental car and communication ceased. We reached out to Toyota of Roseville and were directed to the Toyota Brand Engagement Center. Multiple attempts to ascertain the status of our car were fruitless. On April 8th, I spoke with a representative from the Brand Engagement Center who was dismissive and indicated Toyota could take up to two months to resolve the issue. Consequently, we purchased a new vehicle on April 10th. I was contacted by an investigator from Toyota on April 11th. By April 14th, the investigation was concluded, and I was informed Toyota would be in touch. Despite the friendly demeanor of the investigator, the lack of clear information was frustrating. The investigator reported no issues after test driving the car, but our confidence in the vehicle's safety and reliability has been undermined. We firmly believe the car accelerated on its own, and we would like Toyota to buy back the vehicle.

Roseville Toyota Purchased a 2018 Subaru WRX off of Roseville Toyotas pre owned lot

Purchased a 2018 Subaru WRX off of Roseville Toyotas pre owned lot. I bought the car on a sunday night at 8pm from Roseville Toyota because they gave me closest trade in offer on my other vehicle that was having issues, and i had to be at work 5 hours later and it was snowing. Only reason i bought THIS wrx from their lot. Car fax looked great and so did the car. Until further inspection and after putting roughly 1000 miles on it. January 26th i purchased this 2018 CWP WRX Limited off of Roseville Toyotas Pre-Owned lot. I paid a little too much, but this had been my dream car since the VA body style came out. Color, trim and everything. $24,998 sticker price with 34k miles. I have learned before, and i did purchase extended warranty, 100k and GAP insurance as well. Since owning the car... Week 1- Throwout Bearring squeal (roseville toyota has paperwork saying the clutch was replaced 100 miles before i purchased the vehicle) Oil was dirty Air filter and Cabin filter was dirty. Week 3- Air intake boot 'Swollen' and not sealing properly. Hesitation when building boost LOUD exhaust leak (got this fixed under recall from Subaru for Exhaust Manifold Bolts. Week 5 to now- Hesitation when building boost 'LIMP MODE' Car has actually shut off on me while driving. Completely cut out getting onto the freeway. Loud throwout bearring noises and other noises at idle Car has been to the dealership 8 times since purchase date with no resolution. Roseville Toyota offered me 10k less than payoff, and expected 9k down for a DIFFERENT used vehicle for the same price i paid on my car. AutoNation Subaru has thrown their hands in the air as to what the issue is and even Subaru Of America, Inc. Has been NO HELP whatsoever. After making at least two payments without having posession of the vehicle, i've been driving loaner vehicles left and right and getting back into my car to only see the issue is still there. Unfortunately im the only one that can 'duplicate' this issue and nobody else has seen or felt any problems with it.

Roseville Toyota On 8/24 I visited Toyota and spoke to a sales assistant requesting a car that was good on gas and would be sufficient to get me to the bay

On 8/24 I visited Toyota and spoke to a sales assistant requesting a car that was good on gas and would be sufficient to get me to the bay area. I was informed the best car for me would be the Toyota Mirai. I was informed i would get at least 2 roundtrip to the bay area and back (366 miles in the tank) and I would be able to use the car pool lanes because it is a clean air vehicle. After several commutes I have found I am only getting one road trip to the bay area and I am not able to use the car pool lane because the stickers I have on the car are not for this. Another issue is the Hydrogen machines are consistently offline, so there has been several times when I have had to go 30-40 miles out of my way to find somewhere to fill up. On 9/22 I went to the Hydrogran Station on Greenback lane in Citrus heights. On the internet it said it was working (online), I arrived and it was offline, I then proceeded to fair oaks boulevard and the same issue occurred - I then called Toyota and informed them I probably would not make it to west sacramento as I do not have enough miles to get there, fortunately I made it but i was on a constant panic for the full journey as I only had 5 miles in my tank for a 10 mile journey and my mile cage went to zero. Prior to that on 9/16 I visited the hydrogen station i West Sacramento. The machine again said it was online, but I arrived and it wasn't working. This was at 9pm at night. I am a single female in the dark stuck because I cannot get fuel. I called Toyota, who informed me they were going to send someone to help, they put me on hold for 15 minutes and still did not respond to me, very rude. I hung up and called again. Luckily after 45 minutes of waiting the machine decided it would work. Still Toyota were not helpful in assisting me and I should not be left stranded when i am paying for a service especially on a dark night on my own. I have also paid $2500 for the coating to be put on my car (Lumina that protects the exterior of the car), which should have been done on week 2, we are not on week 5 and still this is not being done. I have had no phone call to tell me about this, I went to toyota on 9/25 and they said they are backlogged, this is not helpful as 1) no-one has contacted me about this 2) my car is not protected 3) I am paying for a service that i am not getting and won't even be worth getting by the time it comes around. I went in to visit Howard (sales manager) a week after purchasing the car to complain about all the false promises which were made by the sales team. He told me if I drove the car at 65mph and didn't accelerate on the pedal hard I would be able to get 2 road trips to the pay area - again false statements, it makes no difference. Additionally, promising the fuel card for 3 years, is not even possible, I am spending $1000 a month on fuel, these cars are not fuel efficient, they eat the hydrogen. I am very disappointed in all the false promises and I know i am not the only one who has had the same problem with Toyota Roseville.
