Lack of communication, claims not processes timely
My medical leave was extended from 9/7/21 to 9/20/21. Updated paperwork was sent and there has not been any updates to my claim. You can't reach a person via phone you are on hold forever. I was on hold on 9/15/21 for 4 hours. Claims adjuster has not responded to any questions sent to her. Its just ridiculous. How can you be a company with peoples finances in your hands and don't communicate with them at all.
Desired outcome: Resolve my case and give me my STD
Workers Compensation
Everytime I go to the doctor the man handling my case puts me as returning to work before he even gets my doctors note. I always upload it the same day as my appointment. My lawyer has asked for paperwork more than once for the something and he is still not hearing back or receiving what we need. My pay is not right. I work 44 hours at 20.44 because of the 4 dollar premium. Without the premium I would make 16.44. I am not being paid my 2/3 like I should be. This whole time he has had me at work with restrictions and that is not true at all. I have been off work. Also I have mailed in my mileage and the other paperwork back in Aug and never received my pay for my mileage. I have more mileage that I am keeping track of to give to my lawyer.
The person on my case never updates after he puts me back to work until my lawyer or fedex reaches out and then it days if not a full week sometimes before he fixes it. He got the paperwork Friday. It shows he has read it, yet he has not released my pay. I would like someone who does their job on my case please. If this is not resolved I will be asking my lawyer to take legal action to force the release of my pay with the proper amounts, the back pay from not being paid right, and the release of any and all paperwork he is asking for.
Desired outcome: I want my pay fixed, back pay given for not being paid right, surgery approved so I can get back to work, my lawyer to get all paperwork he has asked for, and a new worker
I haven’t received my payment temp income
The first check I received in the mail. The second one never showed up so I ended up signing up for direct deposit to avoid the paper check incident again. My case worker canceled the second check from 08/20 and reissued that check. It still hasn't arrived it was issued on 09/01. Then my direct deposit from 09/03 never hit my bank account. I want to know what's going on with the payments.

No Contact from Sedgwick Rep regarding claim
3/31/21 - Sears Home Services made a dishwasher repair that resulted in flooding and damage to kitchen floor. 4/12/21 - We noticed the flooring appeared to be "squishy" and coming apart. 4/16/21 - A different Sears repairman confirmed the parts were not seated/installed correctly.
Filed a claim with Sedgwick. Spoke with Karin Geyser on 5/6/21. She was going to email me material on how to file estimates, etc. Never received it. I have called multiple times and left messages for her and her supervisor. I have not received a call back. It is now more than 2 months later!
The current flooring is discontinued. I have questions on how to proceed to get estimates for flooring that is no longer available.

If you want to be in the ER room and adjuster calls you to get off the EKG table and go see a Sedqwick doctor because the ER can't help you with records. Please do not be a black female doctor and need help because Sedwick hates people of color.
Stopping my weekly payments without an explanation & refusal to settle for 50K in which the company said to give me what I’m asking for.
My weekly benefits was stopped months ago without informing me of an explanation for the reason why. I am still not able to work and my weekly benefits for my doctors visits were halted along with my physical therapy visits. They were told by the company to give me the settlement that I desire which was $50 K. The adjuster wanted to settle for less however I cannot take less because my doctor informed me that in the later years I would need knee surgery which will cost
$50K. My knee I believe is in worse condition than it was because I'm not able to continue my doctor's visits nor physical therapy I still have problems with my knee with swelling and pain that is unbearable for the most part.
Desired outcome: $50K settlement or continue weekly benefits of $174/week.

I was injured on the job back in September 2020 didn't receive any type of treatment until January but they had me return to light duty in December, which I wasn't able to do because of my neck injury which I stated to the Doctor and my representative along with the nurse assigned. They cut off my payment and haven't paid my mileage since January. They changed representative and denied a prescription which was prescribed by the pain management I was sent to. This whole experience has been the worst, they have caused more stress, depression, and financial issues no one who was injured on the job should have go deal with. Worst service I ever had to deal with.

Was hospitalized from 4/15/21 - 4/22/21. contacted sedgwick message board on the morning of the 17th to inform them that I had been admitted for Covid pneumonia and a blood clot, Sedgwick responded on the 22nd stating that hopefully I get better and they need me to send dr notes asap as my benefits will be denied starting April 20th. Just curious why bother contacting me after I've been discharged, why not call me directly to ask how things are going. Why can sedgwick not call the hospital directly and ask for a copy of my file(signed the release form and included sedgvwicks fax number to forward the up to date file. I guess the employees at sedgwick are not required to make calls requesting medical documemtation better to have the person lose benefits and be considered AWOL, so they lose their job also.
I left the hospital with managed pneumonia, a blood clot and a positive covid test result. the dr. who released me stated I MUST quarrantine for 14 days and NOT to do anything strenous for the next 4 to 6 weeks for reduced lung capacity; however sedgwicks medical staff seem to make a diagnosis without my medical file from the hospital or any test results.
Desired outcome: reinstatment of all benefits have sedgwick actually work for a change to resolve their own screwup

January 21, 2021 my TV was damaged by two AT&T technician's (Patrick and Dan). Saturday, February 6, 2021 I receive a letter dated January 26, 2021 from Sedgwick Claims Management Services requesting documents related to my damage claim, two days later Monday, February 8, 2021 I receive a letter dated February 3, 2021 stating that they found AT&T not liable and closed my case without giving me time to get the requested documentations. I got the letter Saturday requesting documents and got a letter Monday stating that my case was closed. That is two days. I was never given a time frame, but there is no way to collect all the documents and mail everything back and Sedgwick receive the mail in two days. They investigated my claim without allowing to submit my documents and pictures or receipt. How is that an honest and far investigation without proper paperwork? I have submitted certified form from my Dr T Nelson on the dashboard that I am unable work bc of CDiff and can't get cured! My Dr talk to Segwick fax documents and Segwick said that all is good! De fax her certified papers! Now today on the 30 th I am checking dashboard and suddenly I see information that I am approved from January 15 to 20 but without pay! What is going on! I am sick on this some bacteria! I am under Dr Nelson and Dr Angela Nutt! I am taking pills trying get cured! Thais bacteria in my age is a fatal and it's damaging colons! Plus stress with Segwick which one living and sabotage all case is unbelievable!

Life Time Medical/Constantly being denied
I have a life time medical award from the state of Virginia. I have had 4 back surgeries from a fall at Pier 1 Imports in 2011. Just had my 4th back surgery in November. Have been denied pain medication and physical therapy. It's been 2 months and I have not had any pain medication and physical therapy.
I am in horrific pain which has caused severe anxiety and depression. I can't walk or exercise due to the pain. My surgeon has ordered an MRI plus more injections from my pain management doctor. I can't go any longer without medical assistance.

Damaged vehicle at target
I was driving in front of a Target store last month going to another store in the shopping plaza. A shopping cart rolled from directly in front of the store and into my 2018 Mustang causing a huge 11 inch dent. After immediately filing a report with the store and police I was promised I would be contacted within 48 hrs. No one called me, so after 3 days so I called the number on the report and according to them they had received no report of the incident from Target. I knew at that moment that this was not going to end well. To make a long story short Sedgwick told me to get 2 estimates for my car. I told them from the beginning that my car was only going to be repaired at the dealership. Kyle Euuert was the person handling my claim and told me that was fine, they're just required to have 2 estimates. Well, they only agreed to pay for the repairs with the lowest estimate when it was all said and done. We are only talking about a $500 difference here. We should all bring a class action lawsuit against these people. Crooks!

While on it she was approved for LTD, there was no appeal as your company's management corrected the issue internally after I complained repeatedly but never informed JCP of the error or correction and she was terminated while disabled due to the error. My wife has suffered!

I submitted fmla paperwork For intermittent days on 3/21/2020. I also filled out a request to have someone call me back for an update on my claim and I ja ven't heard a word. I am in limbo as I have doctors appointments and treatments coming up shortly. This is so upsetting Sedgewick plays with the health people by simply not doing things in a timely manner.
I have been trying to get in touch with a human for at least two weeks. I ve waited on the phone for at least an hour to speak to a person. When I did get a person I was put on hold and then put back in the phone que. I 've even tried to use the communcation center that did not work.
They are the momst despicable organization on the face of the Earth. File an ERISA complaint with the department of Labor. Maybe they will get tired hearing from everyone that they will finally get off their [censored] and do something!
Sedgwick refuses to pay valid claims!
URGENT! I did a very expensive trade show put on with Freeman Expositions from Feb 22-25 2019 for the AAAAI. Freeman damaged and lost my products and through Sedgwick Claims management handling this valid claims case they refuse to compensate me for the obvious and blatant damages caused to me and to my business by Freeman! My name is Barry Cohen---Freeman Expositions and their claims management company Sedgwick are the absolute worst companies to ever put together and manage a trade show! Freeman Expositions negligently lost all of my demo and equipment boxes and the pallet they came on that also included all of my trade show products and display at a trade show in San Francisco California! They also caused my partner and I to miss our flight back home to Florida from Ca because we were stuck at the trade show location into the night trying to find a way to ship some of my equipment back to Florida. Freeman also damaged my very expensive equipment needed at the trade show for the American Academy Of Allergy And Immunology I was doing in San Francisco after flying out there from South Florida. I put in a valid claim that went through Sedgwick Claims Management Services for the damages that Freeman caused and after dealing with this for almost a year because they did not return my calls to either one of them! When I finally got through to Freeman they told me that because of Sedgwick Claims Management' services findings they 100 percent totally refused to compensate me for the damaged equipment and hefty costs I incurred because of their gross negligence I will never do a show that Freeman has anything to do with ever again! I want both Freeman Expositions and their paid sidekick Sedgwick Claims Management Services that for absolutely no good reason at all directed and helped Freeman refuse to pay VALID compensation to me for all damages related to their combined gross negligence with possible fraud! If they do not do the right thing and compensate me for these damages they will soon BOTH be facing litigation for gross negligence and fraud! I hope that the people reading this review do not put themselves in the situation that I am now dealing with!

I was in an accident on November 4, 2019 with a driver of a Whitacre Intermodal truck. He did not look while at a stop sign and hit my car. My car was damaged and he was ticketed. An adjuster went and looked at my car, but no check has been sent. I have been patient. Whenever I call nobody answers. I have left several voicemails and I am becoming very frustrated. I could not get a rental car because I am only 18. I have to pay for Ubers to get to school and work because I have no other transportation.
