Ordered engine and trans through Jason beginning of October . After sending wrong engine once and as of today the wrong transmission for the 2nd time its now December 1st. Shop has lied to me and mechanic shop several times now causing major problems for both of us. After 2 months of being lied to by Jason and yalda I decided enough is enough and am taking further action against sharper edge engines who refuses to fix this 2 month lie and problem.

I had the pleasure to work with David looking for a engine for my daughters VW cc. David went out of his way to help me found me what I needed. My mechanic who installed it said it was top quality motor. I would recommen them highly. Thank David for all your help.

I called and spoke with the owner Jack, who appears to be very knowledgeable about his business, and was very nice in the beginning of our conversation, however, when I inquired about the price of an engine his company sent me a month ago via email, he quoted me a different price than what was on the email and when I asked him would he honor it, he told me no, and then proceeded to accuse me of trying to hustle him and proceeded to use profanity towards me and hung up on me. I am not a competitor but a real sincere customer looking for a good engine and great customer service, so if anyone knows of another company or can recommend a reputable company please reach out to me. I would've liked to work with your company, but customer service should always be good practice even if you disagree with a question. Thanks

Sharper edge engines got me a few good quotes with details for a Jaguar good running engine, good prices and upgraded engines where I could't find a similar anywhere. I will not hesitate to recommend this company to others and I will buy from them again without a question. I don't think I have ever found a company for a used engine that smoothly managed the process so well before and I am very grateful to Jack for his help and his professionalism.

Sharperedgeengines was extremely helpful and made the whole process of buying and part exchanging. this is my second motor I have ordered and both times everything was correct and right.

Dealing with David was the worst experience of my life. He totally lied about the condition of the engine for Q56. Stated that it had run and had been checked out. First engine had a cracked key way for the balancer. The second engine started and had codes for vibration in the timing chain. He totally wouldn't return phone call and no support was offered. Ended up costing me the payment to Sharper edge of $4300 and taking a major loss on the car all because David with Sharper edge was deceptive. Run from this company.

Talked to Jack on 10/28 at 10:43 am. I asked about an engine and asked the cheapest they had. Jack had me to know the that there's nothing free in this world and hung up on me. I called back and Jack answered the phone. I told him that I didn't want anything for free if so I would've asked for just that. Jack was very irate over the phone. He called me all kinds of names and then told me to go and F--- myself. This company has some very Rude, Disrespectful, Racial, and Irate people. I will never go to this site again nor would I recommend this business to anyone and I hope the word gets out about Sharper Edge Engines, LLC in Jacksonville, FL

I spoke with David on the 31st of March. I was looking for an engine for my 2015 KIA Sorento. He gave me the logistics concerning a remanufactured engine with 0.0 miles since it was a reman. As a Veteran of the U.S. Coast Guard, I inquired about a Veterans Discount. He asked me what branch? I answered the Coast Guard. He then responded with something that has always stuck in my craw. He said, "Oh you guys don't count." Having served this country for 21+ years, it really disturbed me that this man would diminish my service with his ignorant statement. The irony is that I was ready to buy the engine based on the fact that it was a great price, met the other criteria and specs I was looking for. However, after hearing his opinion about my Coast Guard. I voiced my displeasure with his statement, then hung up. He said he was kidding, but by that time I was done. Shame on you David.

Great customer service and honest. I purchased a used motor and it was in great condition. Highly recommended. Scott was great in the process. Thanks Scott and Sharper Edge
