Sheetz The meaning of “toasted”

This isn’t a complaint that is isolated to one specific Sheetz store. As you will be able to tell if you look up my account, my family and I FREQUENTLY (almost daily) eat at Sheetz, and I get my gas exclusively at Sheetz. I’m categorized as a Sheetz freak! I almost exclusively order the MTO breakfast sandwich (ham, cheddar, salt, and pepper on a biscuit). It’s my absolute favorite, but lately, I get my order, and the sandwich is barely, if at all warm. I specifically order it toasted. I’m wasting tons of money on sandwiches that I can’t even eat because I’m eating on the run, and not near a microwave. I’m getting very frustrated and quite honestly, it’s turning me off from eating there. I’m begging you to let your stores know that if a sandwich is ordered “toasted”, that means HOT not COLD. The locations where we go the most are store 503 on Ronda Court in North Huntingdon, Pennsylvania, and store 313 on Route 30 in North Huntingdon. Thank you! I look forward to hot breakfast sandwiches from now on. 😋

Sheetz Customer service / policy

Approximately 1:34 PM EST / 891 East Main St, Ephrata, PA 17522

I was at my local store and attempted to purchase the following: 2 Tobacco Product Items (tins of chewing tobacco), 1 ice cream, 1 (6) pack of alcoholic beverages / beer.

I produced my PA Driver's license to the clerk at the register (Rita), at her request. She scanned my driver's license and identified that it was expired. My driver's license expired on, 7/6/2022 and was immediately renewed with the state Department of Transportation. I offered to produce the renewal form issued by the state, which is a valid form of id, as she said this could be acceptable id to complete my purchase. Instead of holding up other customers to find my renewal form in my email, I offered a state issued law enforcement identification card with my picture on it. She stated that she could not accept this form of identification. I noted that I had forgotten this state issued form of id does not display my date of birth. I offered another form of state identification (state issued weapons permit) which does have my date of birth, picture, address, height and weight, etc. She refused this form of id. I told my wife to retrieve her driver's license while I searched for my renewal form. My wife went to retrieve her PA Driver's License from our vehicle while I searched through my email for my renewal card. Both my wife and I are 32 years old. My four-year old daughter was present during this interaction.

Immediately upon understanding that my wife was going to make the purchase, Rita was unsatisfied and argumentative. She now refused me the opportunity to produce my renewal card which is by law a valid identification card. She stated that she could only take a passport or military id. My driver's license does have a veteran identifier, but since I am no longer in the military, I would have no use for a military Id.

Rita seemed not to understand Sheetz's policy for identification requirements for purchase. Ultimately, she sold me the tobacco products and my child's ice-cream. Evidence to suggest that she is unfamiliar with identification requirements is that (1) she is refusing multiple forms of valid / non-expired state issued identification, (2) she had no issue selling tobacco products that are by Federal Law (T21 signed into legislation December 20, 2019) illegal for purchase under the age of 21, without what she deemed to be valid identification, but claimed to take issue selling alcohol products.

The only other plausible explanation for this, outside of incompetence or lack of training, is that Rita deviated from procedure for personal reasons in response to knowledge that I am a law enforcement officer.

This entire interaction was confusing, unprofessional and senselessly confrontational.

Desired outcome: I would appreciate a response. I would like to know what Sheetz's identification requirements are for purchase of tobacco and alcohol products and if company policy was followed or violated during this interaction.

I went in to the store to make a purchase of cigarettes, The reason I went in is because there was a sign that says buy 2 packs of Newports and get $3.50 off, I felt that was a good deal so I wanted to buy a few packs maybe 6, but the rep behind the counter said not you only get 5 dollars off and she got a little upset and started rolling her eyes and got an instant attitude. At this point the manager comes over and I apologized to the rep letting her know that I am sorry if she got an attitude but that I was solemnly asking legitimate question. As to why I wasn’t receiving the $3.50 off and the manager instantly said she is not getting an attitude at this point I felt disrespected and I canceled my purchase and did not buy anything from this store. This is rude of the manager and the employee. If you are a Rep in a store you must have customer service skills have manners and have patients.

The manager proceeds to say if you want it? It will have to be a CASH Purchase and I said that is not what is stated on the Board outside and neither does it say you can only buy 2 packs.

I’ve never been disrespected this way the same way she got an attitude could have escalated the situation, but I have more respect for myself and so should your franchise.

Sheetz Service

Sheetz Randleman NC has a cook that continously walks out and refuses to complete orders that have already been paid for. He walks out during busy times and still continues to come back the day after and has a job. I have personally ordered and paid for orders on two separate occasions and he has walked out and went home in the middle of preparing my order. Numerous customers were also in line after completing their purchase and didn't receive their meals. The managers constantly try to correct the error with discounts and refunds. Please terminate this employee to save your managers and store time and money.

Sheetz I have a few complaints of my own,,,,,

I hear Sheetz has changed its policy in my State ( WV) where everyone gets carded for alcohol and tabaco, What purpose does this serve? I am in my mid to late 50's so if the policy is meant to be inconvenient for people over 40 then it is working splendidly, otherwise it is an annoying inconvenience and in trying to reconcile the logical need for such compliances escapes me. Are there 21 year old's dressing up like old men looking to purchase alcohol? If so, how many Sheetz employees was the victim of this? I would seriously like to know how many underage purchases have been stopped do to this "forward thinking" policy.

It is shameful to see the premier convenience store be kowtowed into policies that only effects your legitimate customers.

Desired outcome: I would like to see some common sense put forth and an elimination of the dragnet policies that that doesn't add to the intended outcome, presuming illegal sales are what you are trying to avoid.

Sheetz Outside at gas pumps. Volume of music

Just thought I should pass this along. I was getting gas at the Sheetz in Gettysburg Pa on Baltimore Pike and when I got out of my car the first thing I noticed was the volume of the music coming from the speakers. It was extremely loud. Now I normally wouldn’t have any issue with the volume of the music but if there was an emergency to happen and people needed to communicate it would’ve been extremely difficult. Or if there was an emergency going on one could be oblivious to it because they wouldn’t be able to here what was happening. Just wanted to pass it along and make someone aware. Have a good day.

Sheetz Sheets and tappahannock va 1804

I ordered a spicy chicken and Mac and cheese platter I got just a peace of chicken note else this is not the first time this happened at the sheets and food was cold other I wanted for me food when it was just sitting on the counter the whole time.

Desired outcome: Don't want this to happen again I spent my last on some food that I didn't.

Sheetz Drive thru

Lebanon church road store. By allegheny county airport. Approx 1030 pm on sat July 2nd..I had order number 460. On top of waiting 30 minutes for my food. I get home to find that absolutely none of my food was correct. I was missing an appetizer sampler, and missing my fries with nacho cheese. I did not get any of my food! This is wrong. You need to make this right. This is the third time that something like this happened st this store. Until I receive a refund and compensated for my time, fuel. And frustration, me, my business, and all of my associates will not be shopping at aheetz. And that is a shame. Make this right.

Sheetz The store especially the food cooking area is VERY dirty.

The store was very dirty. Floors had not been swept. Back in the Kitchen area there’s food, trash, and all kinds of things on the floor. There seem to be a filming grease all over everything.

I visited the store on July 1, 2022. There are health hazards and code violations. Please investigate the store.

Sheetz Appetizer sampler

I normally do not write reviews or complain about anything, however, the last 3 times I have placed an order via my phone for an appetizer sampler my order has been short. I normally order the appetizer sampler with 3 orders of the provolone sticks, however, he order has been short by 3 provolone sticks every time. Again I never complain but it is becoming an every time thing.

On 06/28/2022 I stopped at the local sheetz in Rostraver PA to get drinks and use the bathroom. This place was disgusting and smelled. No one seemed to care at all about the condition of the bathrooms. There was urine on the floors, clogged toilets, over flowing waste baskets and disgusting countertops at the sinks. I’d have been better off washing my hand...

Sheetz Gift card

It was June 5 2022, about 8 or 9pm. My 11 year old son purchased a gift card, with his own cash, from a newly opened Sheetz. Seemingly, the person working there neglected to activate the gift card during the sale because the card doesn't work at all.

We called the store and they said they can't do anything in-store about gift card issues, so to call Sheetz corporate customer service line.

I've called that customer service line about 12 to 15 times now, have left messages for a call-back, have waited forever to get to an agent, but nothing seems to work. It's pointless.

It is just a matter of $20, but to an 11 year old that's a large chunk of cash. We'd just like to get it sorted. As it stands now, Sheetz has taken $20 from a kid and gave nothing in return. It'd be a simple fix — just return my calls!

Desired outcome: Refund the $20 or activate the card -- either way will solve this.

Sheetz Mocha frozen drinks

Usually when I get them they’re really good but this past week has been horrible Forget to put stuff in it when I paid for it I add extra flavoring and it always taste like milk paying six dollars for a drink and I can’t even get what I want it wouldn’t be so bad if it taste half decent but it’s been really bad lately last 4 drinks I buy I’ve been missing things I’ve paid for and they’re really expensive I don’t mind paying the price if it’s good then when you’re paying six dollars for a drink and it taste like crap it’s really upsetting

Desired outcome: I’d like to start getting what I paid for that’s $25 now I’ve spent on drinks and didn’t get what I Paid for

Sheetz Customer service

Walked into sheetz on S. Main Street in Graham, NC at about 9 a.m. on Thursday June 23. asked female African-American, teenage lady for a pack of cigarettes. Paid for them with change and my debit card. I laid the change down on the counter. She recoiled and would not count the change. I had to count it for her and tell her a couple times the amount. The rest was paid on my debit card. The fact that this lady cannot count change needs to be dealt with immediately. She is also rude and not friendly at all. No customer service skills.

I went in sheetz in Princeton on courthouse road the little short women with the glasses with the yuck mouth was very racist and disrespectful and I never wanna come to sheetz again the white man that was in front of me she was very nice and polite to him but when I get to the register it’s a different attitude I’m not West Virginia but this was the worst experience ever and her name was KENNA

Sheetz Chicken sandwich

I was at sheetz at hwy 54 in Cary, NC. Ordered a $7 chicken sandwich meal w stuff on the side like mustard and ranch. Received the sandwich w mustard and ranch on it. They refused to remake it because it was right but I had asked for it on the side. So rude. I will not go back and I need a refund of this sandwich. Thanks.

Sheetz Large boneless bites

The wings i received tonight were burnt so bad it was unbearable i get wings there all the time usually fantastic but tonight they were black and covered in a pool of sauce and made it impossible to eat. This was at approximately 10:15 on 6/24/2022 at the trays valley location

Sheetz Wake shake

I ordered a wake shake and specified I only wanted peanut butter swirled around the cup and on top of the whip cream with brownie bites. When they brought it to me it had chocolate swirl in the cup and on top of the cool whip. They took it back to remake it and when they brought it back to me it still has the chocolate swirl and peanut swirl inside of the cup and on top of the cool whip.

I'm sick and tired of having this entire LGBT lmnop crap shoved in our face. I guess I will just have to leave sheetz and the other companies doing this mess. Human is Human don't need to support a so called club. My family and I have said that we don't shove our views in your face don't shove them in ours. This is becoming a disgrace. So what is sheetz going to do about it.

Desired outcome: Remove the LGBT lnmop group from your app. WE DONT WANT IT SHOVED IN OUR FACE. PRIME EXAMPLE DISNEY.
