food
Absolutely the worst Sheetz ever, Thur March 29-2018, saltsprings road in Girard, Ohio. The workers played around with other customers that were apparently their personal friends, I ordered a few minutes before the group of "friends" came in to order and had to stand there for 45minutes waiting for my order while everyone else received their food and free extra stuff with winks and shrugs exchanged. I tried to complain but obviously the person who was supposed to be in charge was right there in the middle of the kidding around and talking loudly throughout the store while myself and other customers had to wait for service. I understand having fun at work but when you are skipping orders to get your personal friends their food and drink before other customers it becomes more than just having fun. My pregnant fiancee had to wait 45 extra minutes for me to bring her order(which was only one item) to her while your employees shared stories and laughs. I now have a completely unsatisfied pregnant woman that thinks it was my fault for taking so long. I will be very adamant on social media and any other source of information that I can to help others avoid your terrible service and complete disrespect for your customers. Obviously this letter means nothing to your company and I wasted more of my time even typing it.
employee
I went to order late night sheetz (which is by far the best) and the lady that was making our food was grumpy about it. When she put our food up on the counter I gracefully said thank you. She flipped me off and went in the back. I was very stunned by the action of the employee. I felt like she was mad because she had to make food late and I didn't enjoy her service to myself. I consider myself a friendly and considerate but she had no reason to make that hand action at me. I go to sheetz a lot late night but I guess now I'll have to pick another time to go so I can get treated with respect.
management
I stop in Sheets, Slippery Rock, tonight wanted to use their lottery machine. Only had a twenty so I waded through college students getting to the register and asked for two tens for my twenty. I was told they couldn't do that because it is the weekend. I believe it was the manager. She told me it would take the twenty as I told her it doesn't give change. She told me it gives me a voucher. I don't need a voucher I want change. I took my twenty and went to giant eagle
I hate that Sheets! Not going back!
food services
The last two nights I have placed online orders using the sheetz app on my phone and whenever I go to pick my order up I have had the same issue twice now and I'm a little annoyed. Tonight I arrived at 12:27 when my order was scheduled and I went in and paid at the cash register, and the cashier was very nice, she announced I had paid for my order and was here for pick up. I walk to the counter and can visibly see my bag on the counter ready to go, but the employee in kitchen was to busy standing up front talking to her friends it seemed and was too lazy to walk back behind the counter and get my order. As another employee walked behind the counter the girl out front said " I didn't see the order for Andrew", well that's because she did not even attempt to go look, so my food just sat there an extra 5 minutes getting cold.
Same type of situation the previous night, show up on time for my online order, walk up and pay, they announce I paid and I walk up to get my food. Again, able to see my food sitting on the counter ready to go, the worker continued to go about their business preparing another order, not even acknowledging my presence. I feel very disrespected and was glared at as I walked out of the gas station tonight. Is this the type of business culture tolerated from corporate?
coffee not available
I've been into this sheetz twice in less then two months, and there wasn't 1oz. of coffee in any of the machines. I don't understand why it's so hard to not have coffee readily available for the early blue collar working people. I give you my business all the time with mto breakfast wraps, it would just be nice to have a warm cup of coffee to go with it. I would greatly appreciate it if to whom it may concern that I get a response back as soon as possibly.
food
Hello, I went to sheetz earlier and spent the extra money to get the blooming onion burger wrap & when i got in my car with the food, it wasn't even taped up& was clearly just thrown in the bag. Then it ended up not even being the wrap i ordered. there was just a burger and lettuce. Not happy with this, was very hungry after not eating all day and was very much looking forward to this and the fact that the establishment wasn't even busy at the time makes unsure as to why I did not get the correct order.
gave me the wrong cigarettes and would not let me exchange
I went to the sheets in zebulon nc tonight at around 1am this morning. I asked for 2 packs of cigerattes she have them to me and when I got to the car I saw that they were wrong. I did not leave I took them right back in the store and asked could I trade them for the correct ones. She said no. I told her if there was a price difference I would pay and she still said no. This was her error and she failed to correct it. Bad customer service.
customer service
Dark haired woman working in kitchen gave dirty looks to me as I was paying for my food. When I received my food she rolled her eyes as she gave me the order. And my order was not complete. I had to wait longer for my correct food items. Overall, my visit was not enjoyable and I did not feel welcome in this establishment. I will not be returning to Follansbee Sheetz. I have never felt so disrespected in a restraunt in my life. I wouldn't be surprised if the female employee treated every customer like this.
manager on duty from 10pm-6am
This not a complaint with my service but how this manager on duty was talking to other employees I don't think was called for and maybe she doesn't deserve a pink/red shirt. Her name was Jamie and she works at the Sheetz on 380 Philadelphia st indiana pa. She was saying that she is going to stay in the back room until 3am and not help since no one wants to wait on customers since she was busy counting the drawer. Meanwhile I saw the other three employees in the back making food. I think how she was yelling at the employees and how she was acting was not how a shift leader/manager should act. It was very uncalled for how she was yelling and treating other employees.
employee attitude vs. va abc laws
I used to tend bar locally.. so I know all of the strict Virginia ABC Laws. I headed into Sheetz in Tappahannock, VA last night to purchase beer. In the state of Virginia you may sell beer at a convenience store until 12 AM. Our sheetz cuts off the time at 11:45. An employee saw me with beer, and instead of checking me out, walked away until the time hit 11:45 - and then told me I couldn't purchase. If she had checked me out when she looked at me, it would have been plenty of time for my purchase. I am upset because of her LAZINESS. She stated it was because she needed to lock the cooler. She did NOT need to lock the cooler as there was a manager on duty at the time. She then got an attitude and said the register cuts off sales of alcohol at 11:45 PM. I asked her to show me that, and she refused and called the manager. Luckily, I know him. If it wasn't for him working, things would've been much worst, JUST because of her attitude. The beer wasn't for me, so it didn't bother me that much. But the fact that she looked me in the face, THEN walked away and called over her headpiece to tell the WORKING employee at the counter to not sell me that beer. She was stocking cigarettes with a line backing up, when she could've waited since they CLOSE this location on Friday & saturday nights from 2AM-4AM. It bothers a lot of people that the store is advertised as 24/7, when in fact, it is NOT. I frequent sheetz A LOT. I order from the online app quite often. I'm sure if you check your data base for my debit card number, you'll see it pop up all over. My problem is, this is not the same sheetz it used to be. The new employees are usually sloppy.. they are not nice or smiling.. they act like they hate their jobs. Every time I purchase an online order, the front employee calls it to the back to tell them it's paid and I STILL have to ask them to hand me my food. EVERY. TIME. UNLESS, it is a "seasoned" employee, in which I have no problem and they meet me at the counter since they all see me so often. In the last 3 years I have watched employees come and go, and I ask myself why. The way some of these employees have been acting - makes me not want to go in there anymore. And I would definitely never want to work with anyone like that. ONE bad employee can effect them all.. work ethic, customer repor, & reliability. Remember that.
Wow.🙄
Again, it wasn't for me. It's not up to an employee to determine if someone needs alcohol, food, cigarette, etc. it is the employees JOB to sell them what they came in the door for, at a timely manner without such an attitude and without being lazy. Nothing I said was against what would be expected at any other job. 👍
This is ALL of the time. Only the seasoned employees smile. The newer employees act like you need to kiss their feet to get service. Naw. That's not how a business should operate. I was NOT intoxicated. I was the DD for the night. I was upset because the employee looked me dead in the face and walked away. That's completely unprofessional, and not how she is supposed to do her JOB. 👌
Long time no see Nonnie Mouse.
salad
I ordered a made to order salad this morning while at work. I added tuna salad, diced tomatoes, bacon and cheese. When my coworker brought lunch back to us (we used the pick up later option), I noticed that there were no tomatoes on the salad and the tuna salad was less than a tablespoon worth. The salad consisted mainly of lettuce. I was very disappointed in the final product. I'll think again about ordering food from Sheetz.
That's not even a full salad...
refused my debit card
I've been going to the SheetZ located at South Miami and TW Alexander in Durham, NC for years now. It has always been my favorite place to get gas. This morning, I was refused service as the location now apparently uses "chip readers"- which do not work. Every time I am at a store with chip readers, they fail, and I am able to just swipe my card & pay that way. Not at this SheetZ. I ended up leaving without my purchase, because the chip reader would not work, and the cashier would not let me swipe my card. This has never been a problem at this (or any) SheetZ location before.
Unfortunately, as they will no longer accept me as a customer, I will not be shopping here again.
marlboro black and red one hundreds
I have been smoking your cigarettes for many years now and have never had any problems until now last night I bought a pack of cigarettes from the Sheetz in Bedford Pennsylvania and upon opening that pack of cigarettes I noticed that a couple had discoloration to them I discarded them couple cigarettes and continue to light one once that cigarette was lit I took a hit of it and realize that it tasted like chemical I am concerned that there might be something wrong with the cigarette or the whole batch that might have been delivered to that Sheetz I am also concerned that whatever that was might have hurt me I do not know I'm going to go to a hospital to get checked out to make sure that whatever was in it is not completely toxic thank you
misleading gas prices
At the sheetz station on rte 18 and i-94 in sharon-center, ohio, I was mis-led that the price would be $2.22 for unleaded. When I got to the pump, I found it was $2.25. I asked the clerk inside about the discrepancy, and was told that the $2.22 price is for loyalty program customers. I said the sign on the road is very mis-leading. They told me there is "microscopic lettering" that refers to the loyalty program. She then asked if I wanted to join the loyalty program... Heavens no!
As everyone knows, a gas price sign is the decision-factor for selecting a station to stop at. No other station posts "loyalty program pricing"!
I'm ticked! At sheetz! And will never stop again, because I can't trust your pricing.
The "loyalty program" you speak of, it's the Sheetz rewardz Program. It doesn't cost anything and you don't give any personal information. It tracks your purchases like an MVP card would do at Food Lion, except sheetz gives you "points" for those purchases. And the point can be redeemed for items - drinks, food, candy.
This is not a scam. And anyone who has ever been to a sheetz knows that they advertise 5 cents off a gallon with your sheetz card. No biggie.. they could've given you a card right then, and you wouldn't necessarily need to register it.
job
They are very rude and pick people over other people. They would sooner have teenagers that think they know everything than a adult that can do the job better. They read applications when they feel like it. They talk bad about someone after they leave. They are very picky about people and let other people have things that other people can not have. I say this because i was turned for a scar on my neck but a person that has their skin covered in tattoos can work there.
car wash
I paid 12 dollars for a car wash and my car looks just as dirty as it did before I went through. The windows still have film on them side windows are awful dust and dirt all over. I paid alot of money for a car wash to not see any difference. I have pictures if u would like to see it. I also had my co-workers look at it and they even were like this is the worse car wash I ever saw.
mto online order
I ordered a salad to take to work. It was to be a chef salad with honey mustard dressing. Once I am at work, I cannot leave, due to my position. I picked up my order, glanced in the bag to see that it was what I had ordered, and left. When I arrived at work, the lid had not been put on correctly. Causing the contents to partially spill out, and my dressing was missing. So, for $6.35, I got a partial salad and no dressing. Adding to my frustration, and the reason I had stopped frequenting this store, was the fact that I am singled out as "the one who wanted coffee when the machines were being cleaned" this happened 1 time. The guy at the register has brought it up each time I go in, which has been twice in the last 4 months. Once again, there was very little coffee, although all the vats were lit, and the milk station was empty.
everything store #604
Ordered two wraps. Only had a pcs of chicken that was 1x1 inch. Told supervisor was told it gets one piece we can't help the way it comes in. I said it's been cut on both ends. She said ohhh gave me money back. Dirty restrooms empty coolers cold coffee. Stood at register for ten minutes waiting to get rung up. Place was a mess. New store and giving off this type of work ethics.
customer service
I went to sheetz this morning before work to get gas. I decided to go inside and get coffee and some snacks before I started my 10 hour work day.
I got my snacks and went to get my hot coffee and there was an employee cleaning up the area.
That's great and i'm glad y'all take pride in how the store looks, but she made me feel as if I was in her way..
I get you're cleaning and it's your job to clean. But if there are customers. You move outa the way. And let them get their coffee and creamer without it feeling like you are in the employees way...
I get up to the counter and say to the cashier "you might wanna tell the employee who's cleaning the coffee area to not make it feel like the customer is in her way"
He just looks at me... Doesn't say sorry, kiss my foot... Nothing...
So I pay for my items and gas $28 bucks later, and I was so annoyed over the coffee situation, I threw my coffee away in the parking lot.
Bottom line in my ramble. A customer should never feel like they are in the way, especially when they are giving you guys business. After today, i'll travel a bit more and go to rutters for my "before work needs"
mto food
Used to be great. The last 3 times food was sloppy and incorrect. Rude when asked to fix it and didn't have the time to wait after waiting almost 20 minutes for 2 subs and a salad. It's the most conveniently located place in our small town and we can't afford to get the wrong food and a sub so messy you would have to eat it with a fork. I don't usually do this but I'm not spending anymore money there if it doesn't change.
