mto cheese steak
I reheated the other half of a twelve inch cheese steak that I had purchased the other day. I took a bite into it and experienced sharp pain in my cheek.
After spitting out the bite, and inspecting the material closer, there was a large roughly triangkular bone fragment, which I would expect was from the meat used to make the sandwich, and left over from material production.
I didn't sustain any injury other than mild abrasion, which is negligible.
The location where this was purchased is in Middletown, PA. Reference order number 90, 11/30/2017. Order was MTO Cheese Steak (12 inch) and Jalapeño Bites.
I do not desire to order MTO products again, as this leads me to question source of procurement and quality control of materials procured for production. Especially since this being a meat product is USDA regulated.
I have included pictures with US Quarter for scale / size comparison.

sheetz service mifflinburg
I go every morning usually between 6 and 7 and the coffee lady there on the weekdays is super efficient and attentive. She's a gem. But she's off on the weekends. On Saturdays when she doesn't work the coffee service is awful. I was there on a Penn State Saturday at 9 am and the coffee was all gone. Today at 6 am on a Saturday before going hunting there was less than a half cup in one coffee urn, the rest of the breakfast coffee was empty. Surely you can get someone to pay attention to one on of the biggest reasons to stop in.
a worker admitted to throwing random food into my bags
Emma Williamson a worker at your girard branch admitted to throwing random food into my bag due to a personal vendetta against me. I don't know if the food it's self was tampered with but I no longer feel comfortable getting food there. Other co-workers apparently sat around and got a joke out of it to without doing anything I thank you for you time.
sheetz salad
When I opened the container my salad came in, instantly you could smell the salad mix was going bad. I proceeded to put the nuts and berries in the salad then mixed it. Noticed the salad is indeed bad. I was wiping black dirt off the salad mix. Absolutely disgusting. I did not eat it. I am usually pleased with Sheetz food but today was a very big disappointment.
food service
I went into Sheetz #166 at 6:13:06pm this evening and ordered some food for my boyfriend and myself. It was his first experience so I was excited to show him the wonders of Sheetz. While standing in line to get our food, 4 groups of people after us got their meals. We got our food around 6:25 but not my Horchata milkshake. So I stood in line only to be ignored by the employees. I began looking at the order screen to see if maybe it was skipped but it was clesrned instead ! I stood waiting for my entire order for 35 minutes. I was about to give up and walk out without it but I asked the woman where my milkshake was. Suprise, it was behind the counter the whole time, she just forgot to give it to me. So not only is my milkshake a nasty, melted mess. But our food is cold. I am extremely displeased with my experience at your employees. If I could have one thing, it would be my time back that I spent in this facility. But unfortunately I cannot have that. A full refund would work in exchange.
Did you ask one of the employees for assistance? Your complaint makes it seem like you just stood there and waited. In regards to your milkshake, mistakes do happen and employees can forget an item on occasion. If you still have the food, you should bring it along with your receipt to the location of purchase for a replacement or refund. If you ate it then there is likely nothing they can do.
didn't get my food
Ordered a jalapeno cheese pretzel and a 3 for 4 appetizer...not checking my bag, but the girl behind the counter called my number ad if it was a full and complete number...I walked up and grabbed the bag she presented and went home... When I got home I realized that I only had a pretzel and not the fried pickles and the fried macaroni and cheese and the tater tots that I had wishingly was awaiting to dine upon was soooo Il sadly taken back by the fact that I only had a pretzel my heart was in disappointment thoughly as I went to bed hungry...sadly to say I will not visit this location again
management (store #553)
I frequently visit this Sheetz (553), almost daily. Every time I go through the drive thru and order a combo meal I never get asked what kind of drink I want. When you order a combo meal the pop-up screen says it comes with a drink of any size. My first time through the drive thru, the cashier asked me what kind of drink I'd like. Now every time I order and pull up to pay for my combo meal, the cashier never mentions the drink. I have to say, "but I got a drink with my combo meal." They will then say "no problem what would you like?" There is definitely a hiccup here. It's very frustrating not knowing if I need to say "I get a drink with my combo meal" when I pull up to the window. It is very awkward having to say that every time. This has happened to me more than 10 times. I assumed employees were unaccustomed to the offer. However tonight the manager was running the drive thru. She verbally stated my order when I drove up to the window which included the "BLT Combo". She took my Sheetz card and credit card, stated my total, and asked if I needed anything else. I replied no, I thought she was just making sure I ordered everything I wanted before she charged me. She ran my card and handed it back to me and left the window. Another lady with food prep gloves on eventually brought my food out and said thank you and started to shut the window. I had to stop her and awkwardly say "I never got my drink." What I find wrong is two things. The combo deal doesn't show the included drink on the receipt, so when they read the receipt to process the order they necessarily do not know you get a drink. Tonight the manager processed my order and should obviously know when she read the order back to me and stated "BLT combo deal" that I get a drink. Simply put, this is either corporate pushing their employees and store managers to not mention the drink with combo deals, or a store manager that doesn't know what she is selling or simply doesn't care. Put "combo deal + drink" on the receipt. Maybe this has gone on so long in an attempt to inconvenience the customer or possibly not have to provide a drink? This is an experienced manager and she has been around a long time. Why hasn't she solved this problem? This is the same manager that lets someone park a trailer for several days over the weekend towing 2+ other tractor trailer cabs beside this store's air pump and vacuum station. I visit this location enough to notice that the manager and the individual towing the trucks are very close and walk throughout the store together laughing (possibly family or an intimate relationship). This individual who tows the tractor trailers has come in before and asked around several paying customers until he found us and asked us to move our truck and trailer while we were eating on our very short lunch break so that he can park in his spot because "he's allowed to park and leave his tractor trailers there." We were happy to move initially because we try to please everyone. My father has been self-employed for over 30 years and has a very successful local business. After paying attention over the next few months we realized this guy is using a location designated for daily paying customers with tow-behind trailers or extra vehicles waiting to use the air pump or vacuum station for his own storage spot for several days (ex; Thursday, Friday, Saturday). One weekend while using the air pump, I had to avoid vehicles at the gas pumps, a vehicle parked at the vacuum, and moving traffic (both vehicles leaving parking spots and traffic circling the building) due to this individual parking his 3 or 4 tractor trailer cabs in the area that should be designated for people waiting on the air pump or paying customers. This individual has some kind of relationship with the store manager and has been given unrightful parking priviledges to store vehicles in a way that is hazardous and an annoyance to paying customers over an extended period. One night I sat at the drive thru for 30 minutes waiting on a salad I had order for my girlfriend's lunch the next day. An employee told me to pull up past the drive thru and she would bring it out. I am a quiet person and waited 30 minutes explaining to my girlfriend on the phone why I wasn't back yet. She had thought something happened to my vehicle or me. I should have went in after 10 minutes like most people but after 30 minutes, I finally couldn't wait longer and went in and calmly asked why I hadn't received my food yet. The store wasn't busy, it was later in the evening. The employee remembered me right away and said she would check on my food. She pulled the manager aside and they went into the back room. The manager looked at me and walked away. The employee apologized and gave me a coupon. The employee said the food had been ready but she didn't hear that it was ready. I said it was okay and thanked her. What bothers me is that this manager never approached me. She never once said sorry or even smiled to acknowledge me. She simply looked at me coming out of the back room and walked away. This same manager made me feel as if I inconvenienced her. I used to have a problem with the food service at this location being very very slow but it appears that that issue was resolved after an extended period of time. I am glad it was resolved as the area behind this Sheetz location is turning into a huge commercial complex, probably with over 1000 employees within walking distance, just off I-81, and a soon to be car dealership and medical building. Corporate may want to spend some time at this one...
While I understand some of your frustrations, it seems like you have a more personal relationship with this manager than just as a customer. Additionally, please consider using spacing for new paragraphs in the future.
Negligence
I live directly behind your Hermitage store at Longview and Route 18 You had 25 beautiful 40 foot Norway spruce pines that separated me from the mayhem of your store. You did not replace the trees you cut down that used to block your entire store from my view. Ive contacted the Hermitage planning commissioner about this and I want you to replace all the trees you cut down for your station. Ive been picking up your trash from your store since you opened it Ive lived here for 60 years and Im tired of all the BS. Please put back all the trees you cut down. The semi truck noise and fumes garbage trash receipts wrappers No more ! call your contractor and get them to put back all those trees they cut down. Also your landscaping contractor has been throwing the grass clippings and leaves from this property into the city drainage system Ive notified the city of Hermitage of this. Then to top it all off I hear this noise yesterday and your landscape crew took there leaf blowers and blew all the dead leaves, trash and garbage from your store lot under my fence and Into my lawn that I spent all summer leveling and planting grass because of your new charging station. Im disabled and I will not put up with this nonsense any longer Get the trees planted hire a professional responsible crew to cut the grass You did not replace the trees that used to block your entire store from my view. Please put back all the trees you cut down. And if not I will be in contact with Dunkin Donuts to grant them a access road through my property to their store for there customers convenience.

It's unrealistic to expect them to replace the trees. Whether they should or not, I can't say, but I am about 99% sure they do not have to and will not do it.
manager troy
My boyfriend and I went through the drive through for cigarettes and a drink your manager there denied his ID due to it being chipped on the top corner which I understand completely but they usually still accept it anyways so I offered to buy them since my ID isn't ruined. The manager said he couldn't give them to me given the fact the transaction was for my boyfriend. We parked and I went in by myself to purchase the cigarettes and the manager told me no he can't sell me them because of my boyfriends ID and handed the money back. We've both are 19 with Drivers Licenses stating that. I'm highly dissatisfied with this sheetz I've skipped making 3 complaints but this was ridiculous.
fries
My boyfriend and I went to store 477 in Pennsylvania, and we just ordered two Meal deals. The fries were not only cold, but they were old and soggy, and we did not even get a full bag. I usually do not have issues with this location, but that is why I am writing this complaint. It was very evident the employees working did not bother to throw their old product away. I used to work in fast food as well, and these fries were completely unacceptable.
too slow
The sheetz in king needs more than one person in the kitchen. I work for sheetz myself and I had to wait at least 7min on a hot chocolate before I finally decided to just leave. I wasn't even offered a refund the cashier just apologized. I understand they get busy but when you need help your suppose to ask for it. The manager was outside and the cashier was over at fizz city and the kitchen person was running kitchen and making drive thru stuff alone!
walk in food order take out
I normally don't stop at this particular sheetz that's on the Carlisle pike by Giants and Arby's here in PA. but twice I had to stop in to get breakfast which is on the route to go to work in the early mornings. The first incident I ordered the twisted blt with coffee and cup of tater tots. This has been the second time that I ordered cup of tater tots that won't be in a normal cup, it would be placed in the appetizer box. I understand that there would be less of or no supply's and go to the last resort but the lack of communication to customers and let them know that there's no "whatever" and would be replaced with something else is. The second time I ordered three sausage burritos with cup of tater tots. The tater tots was placed in the appetizer box and there was hardly any tater tots in the box and my burritos were bacon and not sausage. The lady at the register was super friendly but gave me no receipt twice. All the other sheetz would give you a receipt.
cups and lids for iced tea
Hi,
You have raised the prices for all sizes of iced tea by too much all at once.in addition, the cups and lids don't fit properly - I have had several iced tea disasters when the lids popped back off when I was handing it to someone. It's not ok to raise prices and provide an inferior product. Get better lids and cups.
Also, I just tried to register an online account and I got that my Sheetz card number and pin are invalid. Well, they work every day in person.
Also, on your required registration, you ask for gender. That's not okay. Please update and make that not a requirement. Your category requirement here is ridiculous. I'm pretty sure you don't have an airline.
gas clerk
I recently went to local sheetz in wilkes-barre, pa. I was embarrassed by the employee. I swiped my sheetz card outside and selected to pay inside which I always do. The pump said I couldn't, so I went inside to prepay. I asked why it happened and a black young lady said "you must of stole [censor] gas before," in front of about 20 people, some of which I knew. I said I never did that and said I used the same payment method a few days ago. She then said "I dunno n[censor]" and took my money for gas. This is very unprofessional conduct and I will not stand for it. I was at all times polite and simply asked why it didn't work like always. This should be remedied. I can be reached via e-mail or phone. [protected]@gmail.com. [protected]

manager tina's appalling customer service
Today I stopped at sheetz on 42 to purchase 4 cartons of Newport 100's and $20 in gas as I do once a month. Tina refused my card. She kept hitting fraud alert as I know because I worked at sheetz in the past and am aware of policies. She told me my card was declined and that there is a limit of how much you can purchase. I know there is not because not only have I been a regular customer with the same shopping routine for over 4 years, but I also worked at sheetz for over a year. She continued to reject my card and I kept getting fraud alerts while I was standing there. She then began to tell me it was because it was not in my name. It is my mothers card and we have the same last name as her. I am also the second holder on the account. As I left the store and spoke to my mother, she informs me that she too was getting fraud alerts and that the card has a zero balance. I went back in to continue my purchase, as another manager took over, Tina hovered over her and the transaction went through. She then began to tell me it's a new system where they are required to scan ID cards. Again, scanning ID cards has always been an option, the only policy is to check the cards and make sure they match. Today I was not shopping alone. I have a cousin from Rhode Island visiting who was excited to enter sheetz after I raved about how great the company and employees are. Egg on my face. A good impression was not made.
sheetz food
I order Sheetz for a quick lunch a couple times a week. The last two times I ordered the food was undercooked. I ordered the boneless chicken bites and they were chewy and undercooked. I also ordered a salted pretzel with chocolate sauce, the pretzel was raw in the center and the chocolate sauce container wasn't even half full. Tonight I ordered a bacon pretzel melt and the bacon was inedible. I don't complain usually but it's awful to get to work and realize that your lunch or dinner isn't edible.
3 for $4 appetizer
We come here every night to the south charleston wv sheetz and order food. I always order the 3 for $4. Usually I'm impressed but I've been very disappointed this last week. 3 out of the 5 times I've ordered I have gotten 6 gator tots, 2 mozzarella sticks, and 3 onion rings... I've never been cheated this much before. And I've been to crosslanes, hurricane, and Ripley.
This is just getting rediculas. There is no place open besides sheetz when we get off. So us getting cheated is just rediculas. Me, my 1 year old and my 2 year old can eat this and be full usually but here recently I've had to make something else just to fill them up.
Also our sandwiches have been messed up in the past (My fiance orders the sliders) and they have given us attitudes about it.
The photo attached is what we received tonight. We also received this two other times this week.
We both work at dominos and we know we would cheat our customers this bad.
Since you patronize the restaurant so often, you may want to check your food after receiving right away so that you can get a replacement or refund if something is wrong.
the cashier
I stopped by your Lewisburg store in pa on my way to work at 5 am and the cashier left me stand there for 15 minutes and she knew I was there and when she finally came over she was giving me all kinds of attitude and was just being straight up rude to me and when she finally cashed me out she literally threw all my change at me and it went flying every where. It was the most, absolutely worst customer service I have ever gotten.
service
I had came to salem va sheetz in your employees was rude a very disrespectful I had ask them to help me it took me three time to ask before I got anybody to answer me and when they did they had a nasty attitude like I bother them in after they ask me what hurted the most was the girl went back to her friend and laughing saying she don't know how to use the machine I didn't finish my order I walk out my feelings are hurt how rude your employees are
made to order pizza
On October 30, I went to the sheetz (1180 Manheim Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601) and I ordered a Made to order pepperoni pizza. When I received the pizza, it looked cooked, because the crust was crisp and the pepperoni was burnt. But, the pizza was completely raw! It was all dough, it was barely cooked. The only part you could eat was the crust, and I was so grossed out after the dough, I did not want to eat any. Sadly, I was traveling, so I could not go back to return it.
