Singapore Post (SingPost) package not picked up

I am very disappointed with Singpost's speedpost service. I have requested via ez2ship website to book a parcel drop off at a nearest mall POP station on 7 July 2019. However the machine failed to allow me to drop the parcel on 8 July 2019. I called in immediately to singpost hotline and the staff commented I had indicated the item to be picked up from the sender address but I clearly indicated it was to be drop off at a POP station. So the staff informed me she will put up a request to pick up my parcel from my sender address on the next working day which is 9 July 2019. However i waited for the entire day on 9 July but no one came to pick up the parcel.

On 9 July I had made 3 calls to ask why has no one to pick up my parcel the first two response I gotten was someone will surely pick up the parcel from
me by 6pm. I called again at 5pm and 5.45pm seeing that there is no chance someone will come, but the response at the last call at 5.45pm was that the parcel can only be picked up on 10/7/2019. And i had informed the parcel was delayed two days in a row by singpost failure to get my parcel as such I had informed them that my parcel has to be delivered by 10July so the guy advised me that my order will be put on highest priority and that a manager will call me on 10 July morning to speak to me about my parcel.

However on the 10 July no one called me so I called in at 10am to ask if someone will pick up my parcel
to my amazement the person told me parcel can only be picked up on 11 July as I had chose standard service. So i demanded to speak to their manager.

After more than 45 mins after i called in again i got a call back from the manager that my order will be put on priority service but I have to pay $15 cash to the singpost delivery man. And he will refund me the $9 I had paid on line for standard service. However my point is, this was a failure part by Singpost to pick up my parcel for 2 consecutive days why should I be paying $15 for express service? It is not my fault that the parcel was delayed as I had made the booking on 7
July thinking that I can drop the parcel off at the POP station the next day

So instead of arranging my parcel on priority service due to two working days failed to collect my parcel (I had booked for the package on Sunday night 7 July Singapore time to drop the parcel on 8 July), singpost require me to pay $15 cash to the Singpost man when picking up my parcel for same day delivery on 10 July. And at the same time offer to refund me the $9 I pay on line for standard service.
At the same time a $10 voucher was offered to me in return. However i responded that i do not require the $10 voucher as I no longer have confidence that singpost will be able to deliver my parcel on time.

Two points i would like to point out:

1) POP station disallow parcel drop off even though I had made the booking on ezy2shio website. What exactly is the problem? The machine stated seevice not available.

2) Secondly your staff told me i had made my booking to be picked up from sender address but this is not true as I have booking confirmation to show that I had booked to drop at a POP station.

Due to the above two situations, my parcel cant be delivered on time.

The POP machine failed to let me drop my parcel when I had booked to drop at seletar mall POP station. And because of this failed service the singpost staff arrange to pick up from my home address the next working day but failed to have anyone to turn up to pick up my parcel. I have made numerous calls to 1605 hotline yet all I get are apologies and apologies and yet nonone can make a proper and satisfactory arrangement for me.

Totally and utterly disappointed customer.

Dated 10 July 2019

Singapore Post (SingPost) singpost failure to deliver normal mails to the letter box accurately

Since 2004, I have received normal mails that are belonged to my neighbours. Likewise, my neighbours received my mails in their letterbox. This happened every month! I have made a complaint to Singpost in 2005 and at the time Mr Teo Hok Yong and Mr Norman Kok Chee Kieng handled the case.

Now Its 2019, the issue is still persist and no improvement at all. There is no change of address and my address is always clearly and accurately printed on the envelop but postman chooses to put in my neighbour's letter box. All letters are confidential especially those related to credit cards, bank statement, legal documents, various payment statements etc.. I have to face with overdue payment and interest many years due to Singpost failure to deliver mails to the rightful addressee. I have to pass this serious matter to the higher government body and take legal action against Singpost, and seek compensation.

Singapore Post (SingPost) postman delivery issue

I would like to feedback to Post Office to educate the Postman when they do delivery to the mail box for bulky item. Please inform them when placing the bulky items to do push to block the lock slider. I have an incident that I have a package and they push it to the lock slider and result that I cannot open my letterbox thinking that my key is spoil or the lock is spoil but actually is stuck the releasing of the lock ended up I have to get a locksmith to force open the letter box and found out that it was the package that cause the opening block. It cost me S$80 to open a lock that is not even spoil and it is due to your POSTMAN push and cause the lock stuck.
Please look into educating your POSTMAN how to place the bulky items and not pushing it to cause open release blockage.

Singapore Post (SingPost) singpost speedpost

Tracking Number: XZ00002512003
Complaint Number: CAS-3246347-D1S4Q1

Experiencing extremely bad and terrible delivery services from Singpost Speedpost. I have purchased an Adidas product online and the company used Singapost Speedpost services to ship the parcel, I supposed to receive the parcel within 3 working days but haven't received anything until now as Singpost is putting the notification on the web tracking that delivery is unsuccessful "Addressee office closed" and "Delivery attempted but no response" that too twice. I have used my office address for the parcel shipment as I am always available in office, How can Singpost gave such excuse that "office closed" or "Delivery attempted but no response"? Come on there are 50 another people sitting in the office, how can nobody respond if someone try to really deliver the parcel? I have been informing and sharing the situation with Singpost Speedpost customer center but still situation is the same. Delivery unsuccessful twice! What a terrible service Singpost is providing to customers. I will never recommend anyone to use Singpost. Imagine this is the condition of a Speedpost, how terrible will it be with the normal post.

Singapore Post (SingPost) missing parcel xz00002455934

I am very upset and disappointed by singpost. I have a missing parcel which status was delivered with a signature on 25th may. I contacted singpost to say i did not receive it. Your staff came to get a signature from me. Suddenly the sender contacts me and says this:

Singpost informed that the parcel was received by a man in your house on 25th May.
Now the man that received your parcel had return the parcel to Singpost after they mentioned will made a police report for the missing parcel.

I am appalled by this accusation. You think i am so free to do this ? Best of all, i am not even informed of this findings. I want this to be investigated, since i am being accused. I will post this on social media if i dont get an explanation.

Singapore Post (SingPost) parcels/letters wrongly delivered for couple of times

Hi, this is to share my negative experience with one of your SingPost postman on duty at blk 492 Admiralty Link. Ever since he was stationed there (the one before him I never had any problems with fyi), my parcels have been wrongly delivered to other units for about 3-4 times already this year. Just yesterday my neighbour found my parcel lying on the ground, most probably it got into the wrong letterbox and got thrown away by the not-so-considerate person. Imagine if it got dumped into the rubbish bin or could have been taken away by anyone! Please resolve this issue as soon as possible.

Singapore Post (SingPost) failure to receive mails

We, Transcend Marine Pte Ltd are not receiving mails in our letter box which is clearly indicated #16-02 A. We moved to this new office in October 2018 and from that time we haven't received any mails in our letter box. One time, we are surprised to see our letters wrongly put in our neighbours letter box, 16-02. After that, they haven't given us any mails and so we are much worried for not receiving any mails for such a long time.

Singapore Post (SingPost) damaged package and damaged item inside the package

The package was damaged when I came to collect it from Singpost on 14 June 19. The item itself was found damaged when I opened the package. The item is an album box and it looks like it has been crushed by something heavy as the album box was slanted (kindly refer to the photo attached).

I would like to be compensated for the delivery agent's failure to deliver the item in proper condition.

Singapore Post (SingPost) please improve your service is really terrible. irregular delivery service and wrong address delivery

Please improve your service is really terrible.

Every month we will have irregular mail delivery service.

Example one week 5 days maybe 2 -3 days I will not received any single mail but on the 4th day a whole stack of letters will appear at my letter box when I look through these letters with the stamping date on the envelopes it actually include 2-3 days ago letters. This ridiculous where is the postman 2-3days ago or the postman just keep the letters and deliver to us as and when he feel he like it?

If it happen once in a full moon is ok understand maybe you had missed but if it happen almost every month then it something your department will have to look into it and see how to improve it. Not just ignore it.

We belong to industrial commercial area there are letters, cheques, government documents which are important and some with deadline to meet so is very irresponsible to have this kind of delivery attitude for our mails.

And mails gets wrongly delivered to our office almost every month too. If is nearby we will return to the correct unit. But if too far we will have to return to post box and hope the postman will deliver to the right address but sometimes it still come back to us not once but thrice same letter till we give up and write on the envelope please don't send to my address.

For your information our letters come from kian teck delivery base. We had called and write to feedback but is not improving but deteriorated.

Singapore Post (SingPost) registered mail

Waited at Letter/Parcel lane for rehistered mail.

No one attended. When asked one of the staff for assistance. The staff directed to the other queue. Another walk in customer queue behind me was served i stead by another staff at the letter/parcel side.

Poor communication among your staff. If there is staff attending the letter/parcel. You should have asked the staff to come out. Instead of asking me to queue and was not served when i am first in line.

Singapore Post (SingPost) dropped wrongly from other units to my mailbox

Had opened up the letter box and saw one bundle of letter which tied up together with the rubber band. Brought home and realized there is only two letters belong to me and the rest are belong to my neighbors of the whole building.
I wonder which postman provides such a service and aspect me to do his or her work to distribute the rest of the letters to respective correct mail box?
How can this happen?
If accidentally drop wrongly for one of the unit to my mail box, I can closed one eye and help to put it back to the correct mail box. However this time are for the whole building letters drop to my mail box.
Please do something!

Singapore Post (SingPost) lost my parcel!

Sender had shipped my parcel on 16/5/2019. Till today (30 May), I still haven't received my parcel.

Email Singpost customer service and the CS tell me I should use their RA service.

What utter rubbish. The parcel was posted to me within Singapore on 2019-05-16, till today, I did not received it, Singapore Post lost my parcel.

And yet, the CS are telling me, I should use their Registered Article (RA) service.

Then Singpost CS should feedback to their chief executive officer of SingPost not to provide ordinary mail service in Singapore as it is unreliable and any Mail/Parcel using ordinary mail service will get lost or stolen!

Ordinary mail service are not free of charge, my sender had to pay for this so call "reliable" postage service as stated in Singpost website (https://www.singpost.com/send-receive/send-within-singapore), their website stated -

("Whatever you're sending, wherever you're sending it to, our fast and reliable delivery services will get it there.
No worries if you're always changing addresses, travelling out of town or missed your deliveries. We'll ensure that your mail gets to you - one way or another.")

Singpost promised "reliable" services are totally untrue and bolshevik!

As a Singaporean, it sucks to not be able to trust our own postal service.

Singpost charges us for shipping, but yet unable to make the delivery.

I would never use this [censored]post services again!

PS: Sender took photo of my parcel before posting.

Singapore Post (SingPost) return international post immediately to sender when failed to deliver, need to pay $21.4 to retrieve

I have a tracking post from Malaysia which was sent on 3rd May, it reached to SingPost on 25 May, however, SingPost only to deliver the item on 28 May. The item was sending to my office address. Unfortunately we have moved office to upper units of the same building a few days before, but we still hold that address until 29 May.

On 28 May, when I check the item status, it is still 'Arrived at Singapore'; on 29 May, when I check, it states 'failed to delivery'. I then call SingPost immediately, to my shock, they told me that the item is already on the way returning to the sender, I need to pay $21.4 admin fee to retrieve back. I asked why, they said 'Addressee has gone away'. I asked why nobody ever calling me, I am just there (upstairs) waiting the the item for so long. How does your people find out 'gone away'? They said, they never call/sms recipient when delivery. So they just return the item to sender which took 25 days reach to me, now it will take another 25 days back to sender. I tell them that I can go to any place in Singapore to take the item, they just emphasize that if you want the item, pay $21.4, there is no other way.

I really don't understand, in 2018, SingPost still doing business as in 1990s. All modern courier company call customer before delivery. For a $4 item I bought from lazada which is shipped from China, the same SingPost sms me when delivery. Yet for the item I paid more than US$8 for the shipping fee, which is immediately returned to sender without holding even one single day for customer to resolve the issue.

Not related to this, SingPost service is so unreliable. I have personally received many times letters post to other units in my building (I then deliver the letter to their door); and also I have got my own letters from my door (while other people received the letter and send to my unit).

SingPost really sucks!

Singapore Post (SingPost) delivery man

Dear Sir

Your Sing Post delivery man rang my door bell twice today at 2pm and again at 6pm, and both times he did not turn up at my door step. He woke up my baby during the intercom at 2pm. I do not understand why is he ringing my door bell if there is no parcel delivery. Is it because he is delivery to my neighbour who is not at home so he uses my intercom as an excuse to come up to my place?

My address is 31 Yishun St 51 #03-23 SG 767990
Please contact me at 9871 8715. Thanks.

Today is 28 May 2019.

Singapore Post (SingPost) poor customer service conduct

Hi,

On 18 May 2019, roughly around 12.40pm I went over to the Serangoon Central post office branch to collect my passport.

Upon entering, I only saw 2 staff personal behind the counter, 1 mending the overall queue service and the other for package collection and sending. As usual during the peak hours of the Saturday, only 1 staff manages the whole queue.

I went up to check on the passport collection booth but no one was stationed there, so I asked the lady who was outside on how the passport collection procedure is and she told me she was unsure, so I joined the queue . But after reaching to my turn at around 1.10pm the lady behind the counter told me that the passport collection period has ended as it was over 1pm, another colleague of hers who I did not see when I first entered was at the passport counter. It was a malay guy and he also added on in saying that after 1pm the system automatically shuts down so the passport collection cannot be done.

The issue right now is that:
1. No base staff is stationed there to assist in any passport collection. What I want to add is that this is not the first time I do not see more than 2 staffs in the post office even though there should me more.

2. No sign or notice is placed at the passport collection that service ends as soon as the post office reached "closing time". This brings inconvenience to those who are still waiting in line who actually might be collecting the passport as well.

3. Why even bother have 3 counters (excluding the passport collection booth) when only technically 2 are mainly in use, but also not to mention that 1 is only used or package. So in actual reality only 1 counter is available for all service.

So, within the 20 minutes before the end of the office hour I could have actually collected my passport but now I have to wait till next Saturday again before I can go collect it, this was such a wasted trip down only to be told that I cannot collect my passport because it is after office hours. All this could have been avoided or improved if there was a staff stationed there and if the other counter is functional so at least the queue management can be improved so I could have asked the base staff on the passport collection procedure.

Sorry for writing such a long message. Thank you for reading and I hope to hear from you guys soon.

Singapore Post (SingPost) your mail delivery service is quite horrible

For the past few months now, my mail gets delivered to other addresses. In the past few months, our letters have been wrongly delivered to houses where fortunately friends of our live and we received the letters from them. Who knows how many letters that have gone elsewhere.

The LAST STRAW was when our tax return was misdelivered last week. Your service is really bad and and I will be really glad, when all mail is delivered electronically and Singapore does not need to use Singpost.

Singapore Post (SingPost) singpost parcel delivery

Hi,

This is to share my negative experience with SingPost on their Parcel Delivery.

Within the last few years, my parcels from overseas have been ending up with these steps;
1. Waiting at home for parcel with courier, as shown in tracking link
2. No delivery attempt made...
3. but...Advice for collection at the post office issued
4. Self-Collection at the Post office

I have sent so many emails and reports via SingPost website on this problem and unprofessional procedure, but no response, and no improvement. It becomes the norm. Norm means ALL my parcels from overseas, except some EMS service from Japan.

Today, Fri 17 May 2019, again, I waited for my parcel LZ428093723US at home and decided to try making the change by posting the note at the letter box informing the delivery person that "I'm home, please just press the intercom, I can come down to collect my parcel". While waiting, I came down to the letterbox area periodically, just hope that I will meet SingPost person and dont have to travel to the post office again.

8.30pm, about that, I met him. SingPost man were here at my condo with his SingPost motorcycle (!). He was putting the letters into the letterboxes. I approached him and asked for my parcel. He was quite shocked and tongue-tied for a while, then replied "Oh yes, I saw your parcel, it is too big for me to bring along" (Of course, you come with small motorcycle...).

"But it stated in the tracking that it is with you and supposed to be delivered today? If not, can you deliver tomorrow morning?" I asked

"I'm not working on Sat...ummmm...can you collect by yourself at Lim Ah Pin Post Office?" He quickly replied and passed me his pre-prepared Advice!

He comes delivery without my parcel, but with delivery advice for self-collection.

This is what I assume, all along; SingPost Parcel Delivery person doesnt come to my place for delivering the parcels, he comes to deliver the Advice for Self-collection, under the name of "Delivery unsuccesful"!

THIS IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR.

This is what I get for the last few years, and I do hope that SingPost should STOP doing this to your customer.

Thats all Im asking for; being professional.
