Straight Talk Wireless Overpayment

My son lost his phone. I ordered a new one from ebay. I needed a new SIM card. Went to their website, entered my ZIP, ordered the recommended one. It would not work, called ST, I was told that needed a different one from Walmart. Walmart no longer sells the SIM cards, so I ended up buying a Starter Kit which comes with 3 SIM cards and 1 month worth of pre-paid minutes. I paid $50 for the kit vs the 0.99 cents SIM Cards advertised on their website. I called them up to set it up. They also added the minutes from the card, before they did that I asked them to confirm if I would be charged a week later via autopay. They said I would not. I did get charged. They are not willing to give me my money back now. I see that this is a PROBLEM with this company. I wish someone would sue them for missinforming customers.

Straight Talk Wireless Customer service

Pin failure on my daughter's phone because walmart did not scan it correctly.
I called customer service 4 times and chatted with a representative once. I talked to maria, louis, javalan? And yesterday a 'manager' possible named tracy.
There was one more that I could not even understand them or their name. Each conversation took over half hour and it was them over and over saying please wait while I look. Please wait. 'tracy' the manager was so rude I almost want to removed all phones and go to another service. Four of your customer service people told me the fix would take 24-48 hours. Over and over, and when they did not fix it in time (now day 5) rude tracy says it is up to 72 hours and would not listen when I talked and kept saying she is saying 72 when I asked if all of her customer service people lied to me. My daughter has now been without service 3 days. She was out of town at a game and could not reach me for a ride. I spend a lot each month for many many years and dont appreciate the treatment. I emailed a copy of the receipt and all the information requested immediately. They are supposed to activate the pin I sent and adjust her phone time for me. Walmart scanned 2 of the cards correctly but not the 3rd. By then it was already scratched and I only had a picture of the number to send my daughter to activate.
I had to repeat myself with every call because they had to type in their translator and didnt understand english well and read from a script. This is an easy fix and I was treatly so poorly and unprofessionally. I keep getting passed to someone else because they are not properly trained. I am giving the ticket number again and need this resolved asap! I am a single parent paying for all these phones and just want them to do their job, I do mine so I can pay straighttalk. This last week dealing with your staff felt like I was with verizon again.

The cell to be adjusted and the information should be in the ticket number but when I call no one seems to know what is going on and asks me the same questions over and over and then ask me to wait... I used so much of my service trying to resolve a $30 card.

Straight Talk Wireless Cell phone account double charged

Cell phone account was paid then withpout my authorization they charged my card an addition 49 dollars and called it *airtime. If I were you thinking about joining straight talk do not give them auto refill permission. I haven't talked to them yet but I can pretty much tell you how this will play out. If I am not refunded immediately, I along with my 5 family members will go back to unique wireless. I never had this bs from them.

Straight Talk Wireless lg premier

I bought my son an LG Premier phone from straight talk, and when he opened it on Christmas Day the phone was busted i have tried to contact straight talk customer support and nothing is being done about it i spent $150 on a phone that useless i would like to have some help fixing this issue that a lot of people seem to be having with Straight Talk company

Straight Talk Wireless Unlock department

I was trying to get my phone unlocked. I called last month and they told me I needed another month so I added it. now that the month is over I called back and she said I was sort 6 days. don't understand how that works when there is 12 months in a year .so I asked to speek with her supervisor he got on and said something very smart butt and hung up on me didn't give me time to even say a word .so I called back spoke to customer service and they told me I had 13 months of service with you so they should unlock it. so he transferred me to a woman who was just as a smartbutt and wanted to argue instead of talk to me and explain. I am very upset with this and will call the BBB NO CUSTOMER should ever be talked to the way I have been. I am very upset and want this fixed I have 3 other phones with you and will terminate them all if this isn't handled

Straight Talk Wireless "unlimited" is not unlimited.

Ive had straight talk for more than 2 years. I use the same amount of data every month. I do not I repeat do not use other devices with my data. This month they decided to turn my data that I paid for off. "Unlimited" suppose to be all you wanna use. I need to file a lawsuit cause I dont think paying for something that your not getting is fair, and they shouldnt be giving false advertising just to get customers then screw them over.

Straight Talk Wireless Bought a phone for my daughter online, and someone deactivated her current phone and changed her number without consent

I bought my daughter another cell phone online through Walmart last Saturday, due to hers being old. I figured, that when the phone arrived at her apartment, she could activate the new phone. Well, someone deactivated her current phone on Sunday without authorization from me or her (the customer) and changed her phone number... Activating the new phone that we have not even received yet. She is now without a phone for several days, because the email we received when this occurred, had a tracking number which tells us that it will be Thursday before the phone even arrives. My only daughter is now almost 4 hrs away in a place that she knows no one and has no way to contact me or her family, with a car that gives her issues. I am livid. I tried to contact straight talk to find out if they could reactivate her phone, and they transferred me several (over 6) times to someone else, finally to be hung up on (twice, overall) without any resolution. I called again and specifically stated not to transfer me, but to answer my question... And was ignored and transferred again. I asked for a contact to corporate because no one should change anything without the customers consent, and was told they were transferring me to corporate. No... It went to her supervisor, not corporate. Not one person even stated they were sorry it had happened or anything. I explained the whole thing to this person (again for at least the 4 or 5th time), only to be told that they could not activate her phone that she currently has, and had the audacity to say I would have to pay for a 3rd phone. They said that one of us had to authorize the transfer. How can we do this when we don't have the phone in the first place?! This was the reason for the call. They told me that the number she had used for years was now gone and they could not help us. They said that we have to wait for the new phone and that I am out of a week of service (I auto pay) and basically could care less about us not having anything for a week. If something happens to my only daughter because she did not have any way to contact someone due to someone deactivating her phone, I am getting an attorney. This should never happen to anyone without consent! I am seriously considering lodging a complaint with the sec or something. Unbelievable. I spent overall about 1 hr and 50 minutes trying to get help without any success. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. For anyone who reads this, never order a phone over the internet. Always get one in your hand when purchasing. They will not listen to you if this happens to you. They put all blame on he customer.

Straight Talk Wireless Horrible customer service

I called trying to resolve an issue. Every representative was beyond rude. I climbed the ladder up to a supervisor and then asked how to get in touch with the actual CEO of the company. The supervisor said he'd transfer me that moment. He lied. I didn't get a supervisor.. Just someone higher than him who was even ruder, interrupted me and said my issue was not his problem, it was a personal problem I had to deal with and hung up on me.

Straight Talk Wireless Phone service refill

Straight talk is retarded I wouldnt recomend them to anyone at this point. Tried 4 times to refill my account the automated wouldnt do anything but send me to someone that doesnt speak English enough to understand. I signed up for auto refill 6 months ago and still have to call and refill so after they dropped that ball now i have to deal with not having a phone which costs me money every day its off.

Every time I updated my debit card information, they change the amount they auto draft from my account. All I did was change my method of payment, not my account. I spoke to four people in customer service which none could help. The same thing happened last time and I am not happy about it.

I've never had the amount of uncooperation and horrible customer service that they've provided. Never switch to them, they will steal your money and claim to give you...

Straight Talk Wireless Phone

I have been dealing with Straight Talk since July 2018 over this. My new phone quit working I contacted Straight Talk and the representative promised me a new phone. I received a refurbished phone approximately 6 weeks later. I contacted the company again and the representative put me through to a corporate person and this corporate person tells me that the representative never should have promised me a new phone but that since they did I would receive one. This person went on to tell me that my particular phone was on backorder and that they should not have sent me the refurbished phone but should have waited. This person tells me they will send a package for me to send the phone back in to them and when they get a new phone they would send it to me. I got the package sent the phone back in and waited about 2 months and then called them back. The representative I spoke to said that whoever I talked to wasn't corporate and the only thing they could do was send me a refurbished phone. I got agitated told him I was tired of getting the runaround and hung up. Please help

I am trying to unlock my phone. I am 28 years old and have been with straight talk for 11 years. I have now decided to go with AT and T. I got my new AT and T phones in the mail and attempted to activate them and it told me that I had to call straight talk and have them unlock the phone. I called straight talk. They told me in order to unlock the phone I had to have this phone in service for 1 year. I told them I have had it in service for a year. I bought it last November. They asked me for my IMEI number, I have it to them. They told me that is not the orginal sim that came with the phone. (BEFORE IT WAS I HAD TO HAVE SERVICE FOR 12 MOTNHS) now it's I haven't had the correct SIM car in for a year and that they would not be unlocking it. I asked to speak with a manager. not only did the manager answer with I think all of your answers were addressed so we can hang up now. I responded back with no actually all of my answers have not been addressed and voiced my concerns. He refused to tell me his name and responded back with we have answered all your questions AND HUNG UP ON ME. I will be filing a lawsuit on this company to make them pay for the phone I'm gonna have to purchase through AT and T, when I shouldn't have to.

Straight Talk Wireless Last product I will buy from you

Name: william davis/ have bought several products from wal-mart by straight talk. No problems in the past. However, this j3 luna (samsung) is a crock. Your people cant supply a new number for a new phone. Why!? I only need the phone to make calls for work & keep in touch w/aging family members in another state. Im homeless and barely had money to get this new phone. Bought it last friday! I have everything I dont need & still, no dammm number! Why!? Your support personnel need new jobs. If you people cant figure it out, im out $100 dollars & still have the same problem I started with! Thanks for nothing. Have a nice life. Going to social media now. That works. Maybe you guys and wal-mart can get together & play jacks on the floor or something. Both of you guys are done in my book. Virgin is building a new corporate hq here in nashville, maybe he can help me solve my problem. You people are worthless & have wasted a lot of my time that I dont have to spare.

Straight Talk Wireless Canceled order and still charges account

Ordered new phone($798.43) 11/2/2018 received email order([protected]) was submitted.
on 11/5/2018 received email order was authorized and is in the payment approved status . Payment pending on my Credit One account .
On 11/7/2018 $798.43 posted to the Credit One account (2469216n6xhr2j39)
On 11/9/2018 contacted customer service regarding status of order was transferred several time then told order was canceled and funds were refunded .
I made contact to Credit One account was not credited and funds .
contacted customer service for the 3rd time transferred 3-4 more times still no reason for order being canceled and still no credit to my account .

Straight Talk Wireless Service

I have been checking my data speed and it is terrible. On my best day it's 1.5 Mbps but in the evening it drops to 0.50 or less. My average is 0.38 in over 50 test. When I max on data it drops to 0.02 or less. This isn't 2g speeds. I don't have unlimited date if I can't get anything to load. I've tried to report this before but I couldn't even load Captcha to submit it.

Straight Talk Wireless $55/month ultimate unlimited plan

As a technical support representative, I'm always in different places, using a different device, or switching between one carrier and another. However, I have never had such am abysmal experience with a service in my life as I have with Straight Talk. I previously used their $45/Month 10GB LTE plan, and reached my data cap abnormally quickly. I had basically just set the phone up four days prior, and bought the service. However, after four days of fairly normal use (Music, Facebook and a few Youtube videos), ten gigabytes was simply gone. While fairly exasperated by this, I knew that the $55/Month plan was supposedly truly unlimited, no LTE cap. I decided to purchase that, and completely eat the $45 I had already spent. This, as it turned out, was a mistake. I noticed serious inconsistencies with my service that hadn't been present before. Dropped calls while on full signal, random slow-downs in my data speeds, and sometimes I would get messages saying that I didn't have service when tryi g to make a call or send a text. That was the breaking point. I wasn't going to pay for a service that didn't work. However, I called their customer service line first. What happened next was such bundle ridiculousness and derailment.

The man who answered the phone (with an almost incomprehensible thick accent) was swift to I form me that "this wasn't the normal experience", even before I'd finished talking. He then went on to tell me that get fix that for me. Great, right? Not even close. After five minutes of silence from me, I which he typed and then yelled for someone to co.e help him, I was put in the phone with his supervisor, who told me that their entire system was down, and they couldn't help me at all. He asked me to call back I two hours. Whatever, fine. I called back. Only to find that the system had never been down, but the technical support department was now closed.

Twenty minutes later, I walked out of the Verizon store sporting a brand new phone and service, which I've had none of those problems with. ST Wireless was completely unprofessional about their basically unusable service, and I would struggle to recommend them to anyone with more than two brain cells to rub together.

Straight Talk Wireless $55 unlimited plan

Ive been using straight talk for a while now and bought the "ultimate unlimited" data plan. well, after my wife and I have been bingeing on hulu and what have you, they completely turn the internet off my phone. they said that I had been using my phone as a hotspot and they don't have a plan for that. i've been using my phone with the hotspot on for the past year and now I can only call and text! i've never read anywhere where it says I can't use the mobile hotspot on my phone.

Straight Talk Wireless Phone and $55 unlimited

I purchased a phone and a $55 Unlimited Talk, Text, Data. The phone hasnt worked properly since day one. Blurry pics, very slow data, apps dont work properly, battery is dead in 2 hours. Took back to Walmart, and they said I could exchange the phone but would lose my unlimited use for this phone and would have to purchase a new card at $55. This a scam. How does this continue to go on?

How do you file a suit when you get a new phone it quits in less than 3 months and they tell you that you are going to get a new phone to replace it with and they send you a refurbished phone that is even older than yours was and they tell you to send it back and they'd make it right just to turn around and tell you that you will get a refurbished one even though you were promised new?

I just paid 45 [censored]ing dollars, no not that much money, to put my phone in service and it's not working. Why do people get phones? Oh idk maybe so they can call other people! But wait straighttalk ducked me in the [censored] and all I get are all circuits are busy every freaking phone call I make. So thankyou straightalk. To anyone who was thinking about switching dont the company sucks

Straight Talk Wireless Company as a whole

I am a resident of Panama City, Florida. We experienced a Category 4 Hurricane on 10/10/18. Straight Talk utilizes Verizon as their service provider and Verizon experienced total loss of service and still have not come back up 100%. Straight Talk still took a full payment with no plan or consideration for the customers impacted by the storm who couldn't ans still can't contact their families. I will be cancelling my and my family's relationship with Straight Talk Wireless.

Straight Talk Wireless Phones being unlocked/very rude customer service

I purchased a used phone and it was a straight talk phone. My friend that needed it was going thru a plan the courts set him up with. I couldnt get it set up for him because its locked on that carrier, but when i called them and asked them to remove the lock they said it was putchased less than a year ago. I asked to speak to a supervisor and when he got on the phone. I told him what i was calling about and without letting me explain that my friend has to have this phone or will go back to jail he just hung up on me. I dont believe that he should treat a paying customer that way or anyone else.
