Denied access to enter the resort
Good day
I just want to let you know that today was probably our last visit to Sun City.
After they have re-opened again since the beginning of September (after lockdown) my husband and I visited Sun City several times without any concerns.
Every time when we arrived they allowed us access to the resort with the current MVG card account as shown below. Today on 29 November'20 when we arrived they totally refused to let us in because we have only one account. The second MVG card that my husband always used to play with was now not acceptable according to their regulations. The so called Manager at the gate said that the previous staff that always let us through on several occasions did not do their job.
With a bad attitude she let us know that we have to turn around and that we are not allowed access to the resort.
For us this is totally unacceptable to drove all the way through and have to turn around without any notification whatsoever that they have double standards applying to their resort.
From the MVG website some dates (13 Sep, 4 Oct, 7 Nov) shown that we were allowed to have access the resort and know today everything has changed.
This was a very bad humiliation and embarrassment for us to visit Sun City today.

Levies penalty charges for paying in advance
I've been doing manual payments on my monthly levies account and ended up paying earlier and more per month for the 2019/2020 period.
Vanitha Raman of Sun International, ended up penalizing me with monthly penalty fees of 150pm, just because I preferred to pay earlier and more, and not use their debit order function.
Approx 26 June 2020 I wanted to settle my balance earlier, Vanitha ended up reversing 1000, 00 of the penalty fees for earlier settlement. In October 2020, my new2020/2021 levies were due. I, misunderstood, thinking it's due 1 Nov 2020, never pd it and contacted Lauren at the levies dept, thinking they made a mistake.
I ended up paying it late, hence Vanitha, Manager of the levies department, decided to reverse the 1000, 00 discount, since I pd my levies late.
How unethical is this?
Is this maybe why most people don't pay their sun city levies?
And shouldn't penalty fees only apply to None paying clients and not clients who prefer to pay early and more on their levies?

I am very disgusted to say the least.
Last year September I called the reservations desk to make a booking. Only to find out that a lady by the name of Diana is linked to my profile. I was told to go to the nearest MVG desk.
I proceeded to Carnival City and I met with Ntombi Morare. Ntombi took my case and started the investigation. What was found was that Diana and I was linked to the same account number with my identity number, I appeared on the the MVG system but on the booking system Diana was linked to my profile. The investigation was concluded and Ntombi provided me with a new account number [protected] and a new card [protected]. The next step as explained to me by Ntombi was that the casino would spilt the points accordingly this has not happened, the vouchers that was on the account was given to the other lady all my points is going to this lady. I lost out on the promotions, I could not book using my account.
On the 25 December I went to Carnival city again, I met with Ntombi again I was assured the matter would be concluded and that I should send the casino and leisure points statements I received from the online system. Which I did.
on the 26 September I logged into the online booking platform and to find the account number linked to my ID number is again this lady. I called the reservations 29 September 2020 to do a booking again I cannot be helped because when they punch in my ID number my details appear when they move to the other system Diana is there. So Diana has received promotions, vouchers and she so lucky yo receive all the dam points.
I cannot explain to you the utter disrespect I feel, for the second time I have no access to book and have left my family in disappointment. I am a platinum card holder, I have spent money at your casino's and at sun city I lost a lot but that's ok, what is not ok is that my profile with my identity number is linked to a person I don't even know for the second time, this is serious act against the POPIA act in South Africa.
I demand that this get rectified properly for the second time with my identity number linked to my account number and all my points from 2019 and 2020 to be placed on my account and the vouchers and promotions that I have missed out on.
I will take this further if I do not receive feedback within in 48 hours

Sibaya - Roulette machines
Went to Sibaya casino on 25 September 2020 to play on the roulette machines. 50% of the machines are out of order. I asked the manager to send someone to fix this. I waited 30 minutes for any person to show up and of course no one did. The other halve of the machines were occupied so after an hour of waiting i had to go back home without the opportunity to play. No way I'm going back.
Sun city casino
I was appalled by the how I was treated at the casino. I was waiting to play a mission. This lady was getting up from there and I was about to sit down when she gave it to another lady that wasnt waiting she just came. I told her I was waiting for the machine and just smiled and sat down. I involved the manager on the floor and he came over and looked at me didnt even say anything to the lady ignored me and walked away from me. That was disgusting that I was ignored like that he didnt even say anything to her. For the first time it has happened to me and made me feel so upset that I was treated in that way. This is a free country where we all equal and I was not treated as an equal but an outsider. Unacceptable and disgraceful that someone working there would treat some guests like that

Credit control department
We are on a annual Eft payment system that is updated the 1st of August annually. Account is then due and payable by the 1st of August for CURRENT Year bookings of which we have a Mid Week and Weekend.
We have paid (INFULL) 2019 Levies and space banked it for this year.
We could not access due to covid and now that restrictions are lifted we are DENIED access because CURRENT year levies are not paid.
We cannot even be assisted with available dated to access the space banked mid week.
This is poor business practice to Deny access to Paid Up accommodation (referring to 2019)

I booked for sun city vacation club months ago and suddenly received an email that date need to be changed as they have changed it to a peak week. We have already taken leave at work and I have another rci booking for that date as wek are going with family. I spoke to an agent who advised there is nothing they can do and I need to read the terms and conditions on the website. In the past year I have been gambling at sibaya sun international casino and the payout is really really bad. I find it to be so bad. In the platinum area the machines was so bad I could not get a bonus on a machine.
There is something wrong with sibaya platinum room payouts.
If sibaya casino cannot be fair to the public I think it should close down.
