I am sad to say that me and my family were very disappointed in our recent experience at Rosies Restaurant, 22/01/2019.
We have been regular customers and there for I was shocked at the level of service we received.
The food was not of the high quality I was used to getting at the facility.
Our reservation was for 20h00, and by then some of the food were already finished. Like the chicken and warm pudding. On enquiry the chef said there is none left.
They served pre cooked spring rolls and snacks, this is not what you would expect of such a restaurant.
The variety of dishes were lacking. It is definitely not what I have experienced before in this restaurant.
There was no plates to dish up the main course on. I asked for plates, but my request was ignored. We had to use salad plates. And a lot of the customers was using salad plates, seeing that no where there was plate available.
The carpet was dirty, and clearly not vacuumed. The light fitting of the large chandeliers was broken out of the roof.
The glass shelves are gone, just the fittings remains against the walls.
It was always so nice to sit down to a set table with a table cloth and cloth napkins. I was sad to find this gone.
I am very disappointed in the waiters, nobody introduced themselves to us.
We were seated, and although I made a reservation, our table was not ready. The table was also sticky. No salt and pepper on the table, my husband had to walk around the other tables to get some.
The waiter did not explain the usage of the soda fountain to us. And on enquiry, the lady quickly asked my 9-year old daughter: "Didn't you have 2 sodas yet?". I did not appreciate this remark, seeing that I did not even finish one soda. What is the use of a soda fountain, if you are treated like this on asking for some soda.
The one waitress that came to clear the table even put her knee on the chair next to me, and stretched over the table. This is not proper table etiquette.
The uniforms of your waiters used to be on point, and they wore it with pride. I was shocked to see Tomy tekkies without laces, skinny jeans?
The waiters hangs around the reception desk, instead of moving around in between the tables. We had to call somebody every time for assistance.
I would like a response from Sun International, seeing that i sent the same email to Windmill casino with no response
