As a result of absolutely disastrous customer experience from the outset, I would like to cancel my timeshare with Sun Vacation Club and cost and fees reimbursed.
I have been offered no guidance as to who / which department can assist.
1. When I bought the timeshare I requested a monthly debit for the levies - this was not done
2. When I called to query why an annual levy had been deducted from my account, there was no apology for the mistake despite the disruptions to my account and debit orders
3. The agreement to rectify this was to reimburse me minus two months levies
4. This was not done and the full amount was reimbursed and I then had to pay the 2 months levies
5. This incurred unnecessary costs for me due to a failure on your part
6. I have been negotiating since April to try and get a holiday booked or both my weeks (flexi and peak) space-banked
7. Feedback has been severely lacking and one of your agents Patrick was completely rude and unhelpful
8. I am now told that I forfeit my peak week because the request was late - it was not
9. As the customer, the onus is NOT on me to ensure that your departments are communicating with one another
10. I was at NO time informed that I would forfeit my peak week because ‘time had run out'
At every point of dealing with SVC, I have had to follow up / request / ask for clarity etc, no one has proactively gotten back to me at all.
I am not paying in excess of R100 000 for this level of service so would like to cancel my peak week with immediate effect and have the purchase amount and relevant levies refunded to me.
