Waited 30 mins for a takeout order for nachos. When i arrived home my nachos had beans and chips. No cheeses, no condiments. As i opened the door to leave a huge rat scurried out the building quicker than i couldget out. They sent me home with beans and chips for 5.89$. Its the store in Hulen street in Ft. Worth texas across from the walmart. Defintely not eating the food they serve. Didnt even apologize. I guess taco cabana doesnt care about the quality of the food or service. Taco cabana is garbage fed to the masses. With rats in the kitchen
hair in my food
I have already submitted a complaint and yet still to hear from you guys. I have pics of my reciept and all the food that was left due to the disgusting hair we found in our food. I want a full refund, no store credit, no gift cards, I have waited long enough. Im sending a pic of the receipt and the hair, and expect something done asap,

i'm complaining about the service and employee's
Got to Taco Cabana at 2:40pm 05/7/18 went to the drive thru ask the cashier (guy) to give us a few minutes to look over the menu by 2:42 told him we were ready to order and then he tells us to hold on so for 5 minutes there is silence of nothing then he takes our order we drive up and sit there for another 2 minutes he hands us our drinks and I pay then for another 5 minutes we don't hear or see from the guy at all and a girl comes to the window to hand us the food no apologies or explaining why it took long then when I look to make sure my order is right someone put it on it's side and all the food was smashed together

On 04/26/18 at 12:54am, I drove up to the drive thru at the Taco Cabana located at 6611 S Mopac Expy Austin, Tx 78749. While waiting at the drive thru to be helped, I observed two Hispanic females at the drive thru window talking to each other. One of the females then keyed up on the order menu and stated "I'm sorry, were closed". I then asked the female, what time they closed at she stated "1am, but we have already put all the food away". I then looked at the time at it was 12:56am. I drove off and thought to myself, if the hours of operation state 6am-1am, shouldn't be helped up until 1am? I am disappointed that those two employees of Taco Cabana would rather lose a sale, just to try and get off a few minutes early. I hope the store manager reaches out to his night shift employees and provides them with adequate training for the future.

My daughter C' Asia Baldwin who was an employee on Little york store#281 was yelled at by Shauna Delon telling her she hate working with her. My daughter is only 16 she goes to Humble high after school she goes to work from 4-11. A week prior to this incident C' Asia was suspended because Shauna Deleon told Nikisha Light general manager C' Asia has an attitude the incident was never investigated she was told over the phone that she would be suspended for three days. Upon returning back to work they changed her schedule barely giving her hours and had her working the whole weekend. My child was embarrassed in front of other employees and customers. She was asked by another employee to watch the front while they go to the restroom. C' Asia didn't see a problem with that but when Shauna seen her she yelled at her and told her she shouldn't be upfront and she not supposed to be handling food she don't have a certificate. That's kinda funny she makes food in the back without certificate but she cant handle food in the front. I have a problem with this situation it's now Tuesday Nikisha Light GENERAL MANAGER hasn't contact me nor C'Asia Baldwin to see what happen. How can you let a person that's not concerned about her employees be a general manager. She was quick to suspend C'Asia but hasn't done nothing to Shauna Deleon. shredded chicken super nachos
Went to Taco Cabana today for shredded chicken nachos and was informed in a very snarky manner by the order taker that she didn't know what I was talking about. The manager informed me that these nachos are no longer available. The fajita chicken nachos that I substituted were disgusting. I fed the chicken to my dogs. I've enjoyed eating at Taco Cabana for years but this is my last visit. Your restaurants have been going downhill for the past couple of years with smaller portions, higher prices, and substandard food. To top it all off, I couldn't even get a large size of pico or guacamole. Was told you don't offer large sizes of those anymore. Like I said, last time I'll ever order anything again from your restaurants.

This is the dirtiest restaurant I have ever been to. The workers do not even clean the tables unless you ask for one then you get attitude. My order was burnt and missing half the order and the so called supervisor was like really hold on I guess. Still didn't fix issue or even apologize and was like if you want anything else you can go order. Rude she should not be in charge of anything I will never go back that's a guarantee

Who in the world thought that brisket would taste anything like barbacoa? Obviously not a Hispanic person. And if they are Hispanic then they have no idea the difference between brisket and barbacoa. It was the main reason I would go to Taco Cabana. You guys have messed up, BIG TIME ! Really ? Brisket vs. Barbacoa? Not this lady. What brought in this change? It was the best barbacoa around especially when you would order the meal, barbacoa, pinto beans, tortillas, corn or flour and all the cilantro, lime wedges, salsa, and everything else that you have in the condiment bar, everything is delicious and priced reasonably. Bring it back please!

I dined in 3 times in the last year in which all 3 were horrible experiences. I will never go back. The rice was crunchy, food barely warm, my order was always incorrect and the staff shouldn't be employeed anywhere.
All of this is an apparent reflection of the management. On the last visit the thermostat didn't work & those few of us that dined in had to keep our coats, hats & gloves on. I couldn't feel my toes when I left.
Many people left.
Most companies have district, regional and national management to prevent the above complaints from going unresolved. The Little Rd. Taco Cabana reviews should have been investigated.

This evening, 24 Jan, I drove through the drive-thru to order a few items. I gave the girl working at the window, a gift card that I received for Xmas. My order did not amount to the amount on the card. I ask her if I was getting cash back - she said no. Nothing else from her - then I ask her if I would be getting a voucher with the balance! She seemed puzzled. At that time an older lady walked up - I suppose she had been listening, and told the girl to give me a cookie - at that time I explained to her that did not make up the difference. She threw another cookie into my sack and closed the window! I have been going to Taco Cabana since the 1980's when I lived in San Antonio but have never had one of your employees to be that rude to me. I am not a young person but believe me I know how to treat people - just retired from customer service from a major airlines after almost 30 years! You learn the rules or you are gone! The location was on South Carrier in Grand Prairie Texas.

On 12-21-17 I spent $8.10 at a taco cabana drive thru. I asked for a beef burrito and I got a bean burrito. I swear to god the bag had to weigh 3 lbs with that burrito in it. It was disgusting! No one took any care in preparing my meal. They literally slapped some beans on a taco shell. I watched them from the drive thru. Plus it was the slowest girl ever! She had absolutely no interest in customer service. (Lewisville location/ stemmons freeway/ approx 8:15 pm)
I've complained 3 times on their website with no response! I want a complete refund!

I was the only one in the drive thru I ordered 2 beef fajita combo plus three additional beef fajita tacos 3 bean and cheese tacos pay $22 got home 20 minutes later through traffic and all I had in my order was three tacos with bean and cheese and two beef picadillo tacos taking my time to pull out because there was nobody and back of me how could this order possibly be messed up I am so pissed you call this dinner this location was in Houston off of 59 and little York I'm so upset right now I don't even want to call them until I calm down then I asked for 6 pico de gallo and 6 hot sauces and the cashier response oh my God what kind of response is that what kind of people are y'all hiring what kind of service is this

Today 10/26/17 my family and I went to taco cabana in Albuquerque NM on Central and Eubank. We ordered 2 nachos (which barely had any cheese) a cheese quesadilla and a taco salad. The employees completely forgot about my taco salad and I had to wait at the window to be seen to notify them it was missing. I asked for a side of queso since the nachos didn't have much cheese. The cashier rolled her eyes and told me it was extra. I said it's fine I'll pay, she rolled her eyes again and walked away to get the queso. I opened it when I got home and found there was hardly any chicken in my container. I don't think that I will be going back to this location poor customer service all around. They took about 15 min total from the time we ordered till the time we left. The people behind us left, because it took to long. They didn't miss out on much.
infection control, lack of sanitary use
I was in the parking lot, on 7/28/2017 around midnight, waiting for my drive thru order to be delivered to me. This young lady came and went several times (atleast 3 times) from the restaurant, to and from the preparation area, with gloves on while coming and going.
I find this very disturbing that the gloves worn in the prep area are the same gloves worn outside while touching door handles, car doors, etc. and then returning to the prep area.
On the last journey outdoors she got in the car with the people she kept bringing food out to and left with them.
Felt you should know what a terrible appearance this was. All I could think of was I hoped she wasn't helping with my food prep with those gloves...

hours of operation
3 times last week and 3 more times this week I stopped at taco cabana at 2041 n central exp in richardson 75080. They have hours of operation as open 24 hrs and they are not. there are people inside but wont answer drive thru and yesterday it was 3 people including me and the guy in front actually stopped and lady inside would not open door, she sd they open til 6am. if hours of operation changed then change the damn hours on the website as well. its is unfair to us that stop this many times and are in convenienced for nothing. close the damn place if nobody wants to work it!

I was at the Manchaca Rd location ( 9705 Manchaca Rd, Austin Texas 78748) today for lunch. I was on line and the cashier (J.C.) was talking to the customer in front of me. It appeared to be that they were friends for they spoke for several minutes after the order was placed.
When it was my turn I placed my order which was the Mexican Plate. He couldn't find it on the register. I told him and showed him where it was on the display menu. He asked several employees and they too didn't know.
Finally I gave up and I told him that I was leaving and waved my hand in a "bye" movement. As I got to my car, the manager approached me and began to raise his voice and accused me of giving him the finger and told me to get out. I did NOT gesture inappropriately toward the staff. I just waved good bye. By the manager approaching me I felt threatened for an act in which was not warranted.
Taco Cabana is a restaurant that I frequent. This is altercation is unfortunate. I hope that the staff become better trained in the menu and the manager equipped to manage professionally with its clientele.
my food in the drive thru
I ordered mixed fajita nachos and 2 chicken tacos, and when I got home I had 2 tacos with no lettuce no tomatoes, just meat on a crunchy shell. the sour cream and guacamole was placed in a to go container that they could have kept, due to it was barely anything in there. this is unacceptable to be half assed where I spend my money. I go to this place all the time and its getting worse and worse.

I walked in at night, tired hot, and hungry. I ordered my food which took forever, then I look around and not one table was clean. It was just disgusting. I was greeting my teeth, toes curled because I didn't want to touch anything. There was food all over the floor. It looked like someone spilled a pitcher of maragarita. It spelled bad. The whole restaurant spelled terrible. The salsa bar was disgusting. I came when it first opened and I guess some the opening team was here. It was clean, nothing was left untouched. I was expecting the same. Boy was I disappointed. My food wasn't that great not like the first time and they didn't even put everything on my plate that I was suppose to have. Very disappointed in this place.
I am complaining about the whole store.
Taco Cabana of Longview Texas is horrible. They are unclean and unorganized. They don't care about employees and neither those Corp. They never want to listen to anyone and orders are always messed. When you try to make sense of something they brush you off and do not care whether you get it right. Training sucked and instead of making sure we got the correct information one manager tells you one thing and so on and so on. Get job and you can move up quickly I just wished they'd care more for their employees like they lead on in orientation. Unclean and just nasty.

Yesterday 7/16/17 I visited the Taco Cabana restaurant on 5745 S Hulen Street 76132 in Fort Worth Texas at 8:50 am. I ordered two dozen breakfast tacos. I also asked for a couple of large cups of salsa ranch sauce because of the large order and my entire family loves it. In addition I asked for several napkins. Once I paid for my order I was asked to move forward as it would take a few extra minutes to make. Before I proceeded I asked the individual at the window (Cam) to please QA my order before sending it out because in my last two visits part of my order was missing. I waited about 15 minutes and my order was brought out to me. Upon inspection of my order I was missing two breakfast tacos, the large cups of salsa ranch and had no napkins. I returned to speak with the manager and when I approach the counter asking to speak with him (Antonio) I heard him reply to his employee I cant come over there right now. The employee told him it was a complaint and he did then approach me but immediately with an attitude as if I was bothering him! I showed him my receipt, opened the box of breakfast tacos showing him the ones missing and told him this is the third consecutive visit where parts of my order were missing. I was appalled at his reaction as he shrugged his shoulders at me went back to fix my two missing breakfast tacos and handed them to me with no apology or concern. Furthermore I then asked for salsa ranch and the female employee told me they did not have any made. Really? So what ever happened to morning food prep? If your going to open a store for business you should have all items available for customers!
This is by far the worst Taco Cabana location I have ever visited! Antonio is no manager and I am not the only customer who has complained about this location since the change of management! Sadly this location is the closest to our community but it may be worth it to drive an extra 10 - 15 min to get better service or simply stop eating at Taco Cabana all together! We have a community website which has thousands of members and there have recently been a plethora of complaints about this taco cabana location. I would enjoy seeing how Taco Cabana corporate plans to handle this because they have the worst manager in the store and as I understand it the district manager is just as bad and does not care!
Taco Cabana has been one of my families favorite tex/mex restaurants for many years but if something is not done about the management and customer service at this location we might need to reconsider and not continue as customers. In the community website noted above several other customers no longer eat there!
