Tan Chong Motor Holdings delay of repairing

Car sent for repairing: 11 June 2018
Complaint date: 27 July 2018

Happened an minor accident and sent the car for repairing (bumper, right fender and right front light) on 11 June 2018. However, till today, 27 July 2018 yet to get back my car. Kept calling and following up, the responded was waiting the spare part to be arrived.

my name wendy. buyer of nissan x-trail. booking number:1009099. on 1st june 2018 i was walk in to one of the nissan car dealer in chan sow lin. at 1st i was told now nissan giving raya promotion with good rebate.(never mention need to wait for the stock. and i did mention i need the car on june) and i decided to make a booking. after that my loan approved on 13/6/2018. before hari raya festival. and suddenly the SA told me that i need to wait until july. that mean i can't get my car before hari raya. so that make me no choice wait until now today 12/7/2018 im also haven't get my stock status yet. i was very upset and dissapointed with the promiser and service. is more that 1 and half month i was keep waiting without status.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings my 2012 teana dashboard crack.

I bought my Nissan Teana in 2012 and the dashboard start to crack within 3 years although I don't park under hot sun. I send ONLY to Tan Chong, Seri Kembangan for service for the past 5 years and I was not informed that year 2011 & 2012 Teana model doe have this issue. And the sad part, I was not informed that the warranty for the dashboard was extended from 3 years to 5 years (for 2011 & 2012 model) although the service personnel do inspect the car whenever I send the car for service. During my last service, I asked the service personnel about the dashboard crack and I was told that my Teana warranty is over (>5 years). If I want to change, I need to pay ~RM3K. Now, Nissan's defect become my problem.

I also facing the same problem of my nissan teana(PKG6633) too...what happen of the quality? and even worst than a Proton car.
They have not happen like this horrible crack it's that Nissan using the recycle resin or material?

So bad of the quality!

Tan Chong Motor Holdings car front lamp quality problem

Im owner of Nissan Livina 1.8 no plate W5250G
Purchase the car in End of December 2013. Currently I'm noticed my both front lamp found with multiple crack line. Really disappointed with this quality issue. The car lamp couldn't stand or last to sunlight? Actually at first previously has found small and now getting worst. Please reply me if require to send lamp picture.

Saya telah buat perbincangan dengan Mr Veera dan akan bersetuju untuk membeli Nissan X-Trail 2.0 (2017) dengan syarat kereta tersebut boleh saya perolehi sebelum hari raya.
Mr Veera sepenuh hati meyakinkan saya bahawa pasti akan dapat kereta itu sebelum hari raya dengan syarat saya membuat bayaran wang tempahan RM1000.00 dan permohonan pinjaman bank lulus.
Setelah diyakinkan seperti itu saya dengan segera telah memenuhi syarat-syarat seperti ditetapkan. (Saya telahpun tandatangan perjanjian dengan pihak bank untuk loan ini)
Tapi malangnya para 12/6/2018 saya dibagitau saya tak boleh dapat kereta tersebut sebelum hari raya, dan juga mungkin tak dapat model itu kerana stok habis.
Saya berasa sangat marah kerana mereka telah memperdaya dan menipu saya, membuang masa saya serta merugikan wang saya.
Saya menuntut supaya Edaran Tan Chong menunaikan janji mereka dan membekalkan kereta tersebut seperti janji asal.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings nissan serena pre-launch booking

To whom it may concern,
I feel so disappointed on the sales service at Pengkalan Weld, Penang.
I was paid RM1, 000 for pre-booking fees Nissan Serena. Upon launch, I do not feel the price is meeting my budget, so i request for cancellation. I was promise for fully refund while i paid the booking fees. Unfortunately, I received bank in with short of RM12.
The problem is NOT of RM12, the main issues is I would like to confirm why the short, the sales refuse to reply my message and ignore me.
I feel disappointed with the service, sincerity and honesty!

Tan Chong Motor Holdings allocation car serena c27

We already booked n register Nissan Serena C27last month in order for us to get the car before hari raya as promised by SA.

The problem is until now we never get our car because still in factory for accessories install purpose.

We plan to rent car for raya journey if cannot get before raya but unfortunately all are fully booked. We really feel disappointed if never get the car before raya.

Please advise factory to complete our car before raya.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings new nissan serena c27 stock allocation

I placed my booking for premium highway star white colour with black interior leather seats before official launching on the 25.4.18 (No: 1009020) from Tan Chong Alor Setar Branch.

Before i placed my booking, I was informed and convinced that i will definitely get the car by end of May, if not by early June 2018 if i booked early (that was one of the main reason i booked the car). Car loan was approved early in May and i had even bought and get ready the plate number (VBP) (Unfortunately, now even VBR are seen on the road).

Until today, there is no news at all re date when can get the car. When i called up Alor Setar branch, no answer could be given. So, i called up customer after sales in HQ and i was told that they have limited stocks available, will check with their plant and get back to me. For a reputable company, i expect better answer than this. This is substandard and below expectation. U mean you take booking from the customers with all the promises but unable to deliver the goods as committed? As previous customers highlighted - What is the point and meaning of early booking where we don't get to enjoy and feel any difference? Please keep to the promises and be professional.

Agree with all of you, I booked 26/6. Didnt get it until now. POOR service by NISSAN. SA didnt even answer calls. Call centre hard to reach. What the buyers can do?

As for me. Nissan X Trail. My rsvation in system 25 Jun 2018. Already paid 25k. Loan already approved. Ssweet promises made by sales assistant. Promised car receive second week July then third week. And now already 45 days waiting. I call customer svice. Still no allocation. They said delay is because delay from car parts supplier. Very bad service and taking advantage of tax holiday to push sales by lying to customer.

Happened to me too. Booked the new Serena two weeks before raya. Promised that we will get the car before Raya. Now, nobody from TCEM Sg. Buloh can confirm when I will receive the car. This is my third Nissan. Did not face any issue with previous two.

Same here, they said car is ready and asked me to make full payment, but I am still waiting for my car 1 week after full payment (they said car not ready after payment, the car is at fixing accessories for ages). Feel cheated and definitely no more Nissan for me in future and recommending everyone to stay out of Nissan, not professional.

I agreed, it was a big mistake. I only paid because they said car is ready but they need final payment to secure it as the queue is long. But after payment, the story given is different. Yes, I did escalate until no more venue already. I suspect they have issue with the local plant and not able to deliver to customer as promised

I feel sorry for your case too. Yes, there will be platform where we can escalate the matter further.
Just that buying a new car should be a happy thingy and i am sure that you and me also do not want to magnify the issue but hoping that the matter can be solved at local level.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings nissan serena c27 stock allocation

I've booked Nissan Serena C27 HWS Premium Cashmere Gold on 6th May 2018 during Nissan roadshow at Setia City Mall. Booking fee was paid RM1000.00 (Receipt: 1007012). The salesman promised that the car can be registered and delivered before 31st May 2018 and entitled to RM4000 rebate + GST rebate RM8304.41), balance deposit to be paid is1, 738.54 after deducting rebate amount.

My loan (maybank) was approved dan signed on19/5/2018. Registration number was booked and paid at JPJ.

On 28th May, the Salesman called me informing that the stock for colour I chosed will take some time and unable to registered before 31st May and he offered me other colour either White or Silver if I want the car to be registered b4 32st May. I chose Silver.

On 31st May, I messaged the salesman but he never answer until today. Currently i'm having difficulty commuting from my house in Setia Alam to my workplace at Putrajaya because my old car already sold to the used car dealer.

Hari Raya is very soon and I have to Balik Kampung to Kelantan with my mife and 4 children. I can't imagine if the car cannot be delivered to me before hari raya. I wiil not sell my car id the Salesman did not promise me to deliever the car before end of May 2018.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings all new serena sliding door broke down

After pick up my all new Serene from showroom, when i reach home. Power sliding door can't open. In showroom every door OK, working.

Ipoh Workshop took a full day 4 june to check my All New Serena, just hit the road 40km. And come out the answer dont know what happen. Nissan said it may take couples day to find out the problems. Or up to a week.

Very sad and disappointed. Nissan doesn't control the QC nicely.

The technical people try hard to check but no work.

I hope Nissan Malaysia can fix it.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings nissan baik pulih seremban

I would like to make a complain on the service level of Nissan Baik Pusat Baik Pulih Badan & Cat in Seremban. I was told my car repairs would be done within 2 weeks. Three weeks lapsed and after calling at my own effort to check, I was told no work has even been started because one for repair part i.e exhaust 'has not come'. I had left the car at this centre on 26th April 2018 i.e 5 weeks.

Here is the chronology of event:

Car sent to Nissan: 26th April 2018
MSIG Insurance received claim notification: 3rd May
MSIG approves claim: 14th May
Checked with Nissan on 14th May and adviced that ordering of repair-parts: 3-4 days from 14th May
Nissan said repairs to complete within 2 weeks plus 3-4 days above: 2nd June (3 weeks as I gave extra fews days just in case there is any delay)

During the 3 weeks, I did not call or what so ever, expecting compliance to high standards of work and work flow within given time frame for a reputable company like Nissan.

On 4th June, I called to check if I could get my car back since it has been 3 weeks. I was told no repair-work has been even started because exhaust has not been received and it would even take after Hari Raya which is on the 16th June ( I need to use the car for Raya holidays for a long distance journey).

There was no initiatives from Nissan to notify your client about the delay until I called. The loss of having to lose my NCD to a mishap (that was not my mistake on 7th April 2018) coupled with such low competency by Nissan is really a put off. Having no car to use 9 weeks for not so major accident (claim of about RM 5k plus) is unrealistic.

Hi, received a letter from you on recalling my car on faulty air bag since Feb this year. Several times arrange for replacement but in vain.

This is ridiculous excuse given by you on the stock shortage, many life is threaten on the road every day.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings nissan serena c27 stock allocation (tan chong malaysia)

1. I made a reservation/booking on the new Nissan Serena on April 16 when they have a roadshow in their head office branch.

2. RM1000.00 booking fees made to ensure the car is available for me (according to the sales person) when they launch it

3. Loan was approved on 21st May and i received a call from the respective sales person from Tan Chong and informed me that they got no car for me.

4. I feel cheated on the booking time when they promise me i will get my car by end of May 2018

5. What is the purpose of making booking and no booking, end up also the same.

6. I have booked full spec White Color and the sales person offer me Silver ... what a crap... and also he told to wait another month to get for the White.

My Question is, what is the meaning of "Booking/Reservation" ?

1) Gear Box
- My car is beakdown 6/4/18 and towing car to your Glenmarie Branch. I have contacted them in afternoon as they service provider staff said my car still in mid of checking and no sure on what is damaged. I'm calling in 7/4/18 morning. The service provider staff said their technical have confirmed that gear box have damaged. By promptly, i'm informed the staff in charge that i have purchased the TC Warranty Plus EW200. And then, the staff said due to many works and need 1 hour to check with the branch which i have purchased this insurance in earlier. As car service until 56853 mileage, there are no service on gear box (i.e change gear oil). Nissan shall give warranty on gear box which a car is using less than 60, 000km instead of i need to claim from my insurance company.
2. Courtesy car
- By promptly, i'm requested the courtesy car as the staff in charge is mention to me that as Nissan didn't give the courtesy car service to Nissan customer. I'm very disappointed on this. With assist from branch assistant manager on 8/4/18 have requested to HQ Nissan. As today, there are no new on my request on courtesy car. I will claim the rental car @ RM2000 per month with Nissan Malaysia. Beside of this, i still have no claim on my inconvenience cost.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings accident car haven't do repair for 3 months ago

My car was accident on november 21, 2017 and insurance claim was approved on december 27, 2018. My car was towed away to tan chong muar for repair.
But tan chong muar service centre there haven't do any repair for my car and never receive any updates from them since 3 months ago.
I am very dissatisfied and helpless for nissan, due to nissan unable provide us a backup car for daily use and we force to take public transport to work to that resulting in inconvenient and waste time.
Meantime, we still have continue to pay monthly instalment but unfortunately get nothing from nissan at the end.
Therefore, I need nissan management to answer my below questions :
1. Why nissan can be irresponsible for loyalty customer?
2. How to solve my car?
3. How to solve our daily transportation?
4. Who and how nissan to compensate our loss?

Please advise asap?

Tan Chong Motor Holdings funny sound in the car

I am rekha rajagopal. I am the registered owner for vehicle WA9302N nissan almeera. on my last service last week, my car was in good condition before servicing. after servicing my car with your service centre I had a funny noise in the car probably the engine problem. I paid RM 870-00 for the serving and others please check the bill. but very bad service provided by your company. after complaints to your customer care centre last week. today 9-4-2018 I received a call from your staff asking me pay extra to get rite out the funny sounds in my car. I serviced my car at nissan 3S centre (edaran tan chong motor sdn bhd), Lot 9, Jalan Kemajuan 12/18, 49200 Petaling Jaya, Selangor... please investigate this above matter soonest. Tan Chong Motor Holdings poor car servicing

I am the registered owner for vehicle WC6227H. On my last service, I have complaint about abnormal sound on my car absorbar. After checking they changed the left hand absorbar. Recently i noticed the right hand side absorbar with the abnormal sound again and requested for changing but the staff told me that I need to write in to get approval.

I am amazed why the service centre cannot assist to rectify the problem immediately since they knew the right hand side absorbar is indeed with abnormal sound. Why cant they assist the customer to save the time to write and appeal until obtain approval. I am extremely dissatisfy with this type of service as it has caused me very inconvenient with no car to use after waiting for one whole day only informing me such procedure to follow.

Tan Chong Motor Holdings nissan xtrail impul

9 March 2018
This is an addendum to the feedback I sent on 7 March 2018, after I collected my car from Nissan Glenmarie Service Center (I sent my car before 8:00 am on the same day. My name is Mastura Majid and I have a Nissan XTrail Impul registration no.MY880). My mobile is +[protected]. For the record, my rating for the service is VERY VERY VERY BAD! I sent the car on 7 Mar 2018 for the following 3 problems to be fixed:
1. Aircond - erratic switching of the internal and external air circulation buttons and when that happens, the aircond will not work. I will just switch off and on the aircond and after a while it will be cold again. This problem started on 1 July 2016, abt 3 months after I received delivery of the car in early March 2016. Since then, I have sent the car numerous times, whether it's outside or during the scheduled maintenance service, and the problem has never been fixed. Feedback I got ranged from the O Ring needs to be replaced, plastic parts are used and it's standard wear and tear (what crap, wear and tear after 3 months!). There is also a noise when I switch the aircond on and off from day 1, I was told it's standard because Nissan uses plastic parts and the noise is normal. Before the 7th March, they said they have changed the module and problem is fixed. What a joke! The day after I collected my car, the problem recurred and this happens all the time when I sent the car for the aircond problem to be fixed. I have endured this nonsense for more than 2 years after owning the car.. and on 7 March I was told, they have collected data and they nd to refer to HQ Technical service and It will take 2-3 weeks for HQ to analyse the data. This is coming from Nissan, which I now know I was fooled into buying one! After 2 years, then only you want to collect data to figure out what's wrong?
2. There is a noise in the steering wheel that started before CNY 2018, which I have reported when I sent the car for service before CNY 2018. The service Center had too many cars, technician didn't have time to fix the problem and asked me to send the car after CNY. So I asked for this to be fixed too when I sent the car on 7 Mar 2018. I was told it was fixed, I did not get a satisfactory explanation what is the cause (I don't blame the Service Advisor, since I believe they only convey what they are told by the personnel who actually looked or supposedly work on the problem). Guess what, the same evening after I collected the car, the noise is still there. I am beginning to wonder now when I am told the problem is fixed whether all possible scenarios were tested to see if the problem has really been fixed. All I did was to park my car in reverse, when u have to turn the steering wheel left and right at some points, the sound is still there!
3. There is a whirring, motor or fan like noise which can be heard the minute I drove at 40km/hr and above and it gets louder as the speed increases. I was told it has something to do w the gear box, and they have to collect the data and send to HQ for wait 2-3 weeks for the diagnosis. I am lost for words!

Bottomline, other that the normal service, so far Nissan does not seem to have the expertise to fix the problems I have w the XTrail. I am convinced now, Nissan's service KPI is to make sure it can return the car to customers on the same day, irregardless of whether the problem is fixed on not. The one day turnaround time is nothing but a facade and false impression of efficiency.

I happened to meet and ex Nissan employee who advised me, Nissan is a big company, and I must send in a formal complaint to HQ else nothing will be done, else as a customer, we will continue to suffer. Is it because I am a nobody, I don't have a title that I carry and hence my problem does not warrant attention? What about the title ‘I am a Nissan Customer'? The warranty for my car will end first quarter 2019 but I have signed up for the Extended Warranty package because I do not want to end up with a hefty bill when suddenly only after the warranty expires, Nissan service may miraculously, can fix all the problems. Nissan, proof to me that I am wrong that I should not have bought a Nissan in the first place.
I am going to see how soon I will hear from someone after I send this, to get a commitment that all the problems I am facing with the vehicle can and will be fixed. I have yet to mention the substandard quality of the material used for the car, the interior, the skirtings that came with the IMPUL model which is brittle like biscuits (I have removed the skirtings at the front because they are crap!). Rest assure, I am going to post all of the above in all car reviews that are available to help others who is planning to buy a Nissan XTrail IMPUL, to think twice if not more!

Tan Chong Motor Holdings services

Service my xtrail at Nissan Tawau service centre for brake pad and skimming issue. Things fixed and the car delivered. Driving my car away but found out later absorber malfunction. I am dissatisfied that my car absorber is ok before sending for services and mechanic careless for not spotting the issue during test drive after completing the skimming and brake pad services. Worst still, as a 3s centre, there is always no stocks kept and order need to be made. Has been a week the stock still not arrived infers poor customer centric. No update for me until my inquiry call. Really not happy on that services of Nissan...I spent more than RM2k to service my two cars last month because in service centre my car can be checked thoroughly..Latest incidence makes my mind changed ... Perhaps we have option to go to other Workshop for services...

Tan Chong Motor Holdings nissan sylphy - new car

I have purchase this car about a year ago and already having temperature issue. The car radiator water is reducing and I hv brought the car to the nearest dealer and they said nothing is wrong. But my temperature is still increasing. Brought the car to Tanchong branch glenmarie and they asking for appointment. seriously something is not right, instead of attending to my car they ask me to make an appointment. Its not a normal service and how can they ask me such question. Anyway I am very dissapointed on the issue of my car n the service rendered to me.
