I have purchased this mobile under scheme of two year out going free to any tata to tata mobile, but my free outgoing facility has been bared with in 4 months of purchased and no body is giving me right answer why this scheme has been stopped to my mobile. I contacted customer care and dealer also but they are unable to make me satisfy. Definitely tata is not a cheater but his company is a cheater who can make us fool... But not for a long time it will go out of range with in some years... Cheater can not live for a long time in market...
2 months before I bought a USB Modem from Tata Indicom. I opted for 1GB connection. Even though I only used 647MB last month, the bill was for 1372MB (1.3GB).
When I asked the customer service, they said the Tata Indicom server has a different MB counting mechanism! I am just wondering what the hell on earth the Tata Indicom server can count 1MB as 2MB!
Beware, these people are definite cheaters. Why cant they be truthful? Instead of counting 1MB as 2MB, let them increase the price and be truthful to the society. Then make a healthy competition...
I am a hardcore fan of Ratan Tata sir. Definitely tata is not a cheater but his company is a cheater who can make us fool... But not for a long time it will go out of range with in some years... Cheater can not live for a long time in market...

I paid my bill on 7th Feb. 08 through easy bill who are authorized agent of tata Indicom but till date i.e 15th Jan. my outgoing has been Restricted.I ve this problem of not making outgoing calls since 4th of Feb.
Kindly look forward to my complaint as I hav been cheated by the company

Last 1 1 /2 yrs, I am facing problems, instrument.
I had visited customer care centre regarding problem.
They had informed me, that since there is problem in instrument. they are going to make an replaced.
continously last 4 month, after every 15 days, in my insturment, i am not receiving power supply.
when i made complaint they, just go on changing cord and battery.
after week, i am facing the same problem.
I had requested to make an replacement of instrument, but they are not interested to make an replacement.
my wireless line is dead.
i had also informed to customer care to cancelled my connection, and make an adjustment of outstanding,
still not receiving any response.
I am completely fed up with this.
requested to cancelled my connection, and collect the instrument from residence.

Hi Guys! I was in Muvattupuzha, Kerala, India, for 3 months recently. 'Unfortunately', I purchased a mobile phone and a USB internet modem (both with connections) from TATA INDICOM. The service, probably, is worse that any telecom company can ever give you. A bigger shock is when you get monthly bills much beyond your imagination. Over and above that, when you approach their customer 'care', the response is much worse than that would expect from typical sarkari baboos that we encounter in our government offices. Finally, I wanted to get out...but, they delayed the disconnection process to such an extent that I had to pay them the rent for many extra days that I did not even use the connection.
If you are not particular that you will learn only from your own personal mistake (I was particular!), be cautious of Tata Indicom folks. They can trap you, your friends, or relatives. Just pass on this message if you feel it worthy. Sorry if I am spamming you.

This is about a new Tata Indicom (Switch to this crap, and feel the difference!) USB internet connection that they have selling on all platforms these days. Believe me, this is the worst product experience that I have had in the past few years. These guys are chor. The guy who had called up about a scheme was not traceable after he promised that the connection would be up and running in 3 days. He would just not pick up the phone. Fortunately I could contact the dealer and had to virtually fight with them to get them deliver and connect that. Then an engineer (Arif) comes over to my place and was simply unable to connect that for two hours (!). This guy had no knowledge about the product or the company or the scheme or anything for that matter. I was surprised about this, He gave me his number so that I could call him in case of any problem. I connected to the net after a few days as I also have a Airtel landline. Touchwood thats working fine, but has to be temporarily disconnected bcos of some interiors that I am getting done. The connection was so slow that I could not even open normal pages of 40-45 kbs. Not even google! I tried to test the speed, and i got something like 9kbps. I tried calling up the helpline. This was the most frustrating experience that I have had. I would not get connected, or the dialed phone number for verification was told wrong four times and then they disconnected me two times. I called up Arif and he gave me another guy Yogesh Pawar's number. I called him thrice, All I got was three diff ring tones. I called back Arif and he told me that he would be there in 20 mins as he was in the Mahakali area only. When he didn't turn up for two hours, I started calling up. He hasn't picked up the phone for the last two days or 50 calls, Neither has Yogesh Pawar. I finally got to speak to the helpline yesterday and they took me through some setting changes. I did that, but still the connection was slow. then he asked me to do some ping tests, which he said was showing that speed was ok. He advised me to have my machine checked. When I told him that the machine is fine bcos my Airtel is working fine, he insisted that there was nothing wrong with Tata Indicom. Despite insisting that someone should come and have a look, he said they cant do that. When I decided to lodge a complaint, they said that they cannot take a complaint for this. Believe me, they DID NOT even take the complaint.!
I am planning on my future course of action- approaching TRAI and the consumer courts,after I follow this up with Tata Indicom again. Very shortly I will update you guys about this.
One final advice: This Tata thing sucks, its crap, Its ###... Don't, don't ever even think of buying anything from them. And screw Kajol for taking up the ambassadorship for such craps.
Yes this ### are chor ! Govt. must bring some strict rules against this company's and should take quick action against such harassment.
