my packages got mixed up
I went to the local ups store to send out two packages. The ladies that were working did not provide me much help with getting my labels. After I had my labels printed I asked the ladies for tape, they said here we will put the return slips in these which was a clear packing sticky paper. So they proceeded to cash me out and they said your all set so I left. A couple days later I got an email from one of the returned packages stating it was not the correct return. I am considerably upset that I trusted these ladies they mixed up my packages and now I have to go through all this Hassel.
certified mail
Store # 5932 did not have the postage stamp or anything related to a certified mail receipt but yet wanted to take my money for those services! That's why you send things certified mail so you have proof you mailed something. She tried to hand me back my blank hand written certified mail tags and said that will be $25 dollars. It is very unprofessional to bad business practices to claim you do something but not give customer what they need. Thank god I mail this stuff everyday. Because what if I needed that receipt as a court document. I would have to start all over again.
postal service offered by ups
I have given a post at UPS Store at Bellevue(#1477) on January 3rd 2017 to deliver it to Chicago. It was meant to deliver to one of my friend in Chicago, he is planning to travel India on Jan 12th. I checked in the store, and they confirmed that the post will be delivered within Jan 10 if I'm paying it via First class mail service. I paid them for the First class mail service and i got the tracking number [protected]. Also I have mentioned to directly put the post in his mail box without waiting for him to sign it.
UPS store transfer this packet to USPS service for delivery. When I'm checking it via online, it showed me the carrier as USPS. When I track it online, I see that USPS tried to deliver the package, but it requires a signature on their end to deliver that. At that time, my friend was in office and they left a notice without deliver the package. I called UPSStore office several times, and they said they cannot do anything. I tried to contact USPS customer care service for almost all day and no one is picking up the call. Then I used their online facility for request redelivery option. I used the redelivery option twice in their website clearly mentioned that if they are trying for delivery on Saturday or Sunday, friend will be available in room and he can sign and get the packet. Otherwise it should be kept in postbox, but nothing has happened for 2 weeks, and then they try to deliver after 3 weeks and again returned back. Now the status showing is returned to sender and is in their Palantine distribution center from Feb 1st week onwards. From USPS, no one is responding to any kind of enquiries. When checked with the UPS Store Bellevue, they are saying they can't do anything in this case.
rude staff
Rude staff when I walked in to your store I took a look around and the two gentlemen in the back was sitting down looking at me and my wife but not even acknowledged that we even was there we waited about 20 min before we walked out I don't think we will be using ups if they have service like this. All I want is to mail off some stuff for my kids birthday and I can't do this because the staff look like they could be on something
scam/theft of funds
Horrible!
The owner of this store is a thief. He has decided to close his store in Brownsville, Texas (45 minutes away from this location) giving his clients one day notice. This has resulted in mail being lost and rerouted back to senders.
The owner refuses to refund the the clients of the Brownsville store for the remaining amount remaining on their rent, instead stated that they can drive 45 minutes away to use the Harlingen store.
USPS will not honor the Change Of Address Form, because only he owner can complete the form as USPS does not recognize the internal (BOX) Number, only the physical address of the store.
The manager is equally shady and is quick to tell you that it isn't her fault and offers zero solutions.
I spoke to Tim (last name unknown) who is an executive of the UPS to explain that this extremely short notice has resulted in a huge loss of revenue for my company and we just had $1, 000 worth of stationary printed with this address on it weeks ago that is now absolutely useless. He too was an absolute waste of time.
ups driver
On 2/9/2018 between 1:45 & 2pm, a UPS driver (white male with shaggy brown shoulder length hair and tattoos) was delivering packages to a building who's address is 37-07 147th street in Flushing, NY. I'm sure you can identify him with this info. He parked his truck blocking 37th avenue (which is a one way street heading west). After I waited patiently for at least 10 minutes for him to return, he finally exited the building. At that point, drivers waiting behind me said something I did not hear & he cursed & shouted at them loudly; then a pedestrian asked him why he couldn't pull up a little to not block the road, and he responded aggressively saying. "Call the cops- they'll tell you you have to wait!". At that point I was about to tell him not to worry because I know he had a job to do (like the job I was late to because of him) but I didn't get the chance because he had the audacity to quickly tell me I could've fit between his truck & a parked car & that I should "learn how to drive". For me to fit, I would've had to taken OFF my mirrors & the mirror of the parked car- and it was clear I couldn't fit to the other drivers behind me because one of them walked up to look at what was causing the traffic. Firstly- this driver needs to take a class on public relations. Secondly, he apparently needs "to learn how to drive" himself, because there were MANY spots further up that he could've parked in, rather than blocking the whole road. Third- being that he thought I could fit in a space WAY too small for my car to fit through, he likely also needs his vision checked. And finally fourth, not to judge a book by its cover, but he looked disheveled, as if he hadn't showered in a while, & his general nasty appearance matched his nasty personality. This area is congested enough without him causing traffic & then harassing the people he's inconveniencing. I trust you don't want an employee like this representing your company & that you'll handle this accordingly. Thank you.
terrible customer service by manager at #1737 ups store in ssf
I walked into the UPS #1737 Store in SSF @ 09:44 AM on 01/25/2018 to return DIRECTV equipment as instructed by Directv and the store manager served me as I did not get his name I do remember seeing his/male badge his ethnic background was East Indian if it helps. Long story short the equipment was in a plastic bag which consisted of one remote and a receiver box with access card and cord in the bag. I do admit the receiver box was a little dusty but not so dirty that it should have been handled the way he did... he turned the bag over from about 12 inches above the scale and proceeded to let everything fall out onto the scale he could have easily damaged the equipment. He was rude to say the least proceeded to say this is Directv, it's so dirty? I was appalled at his behavior enough to take the time to make sure and complain. If I were his manager I would have pulled him aside and spoke with him explaining no way should he have behaved this way totally unacceptable! This behavior was unnecessary really if he had asked I would have gladly put everything into a box myself not to damage the equipment. I am still in shock and this is a reflection of UPS as the franchise again not acceptable. Send him back to school to teach him some customer service which is the livelihood of a public business. Man my jaw is still hanging. So Rude!

unethical behavior - charging under misc category in addition to standard notary charges
Went to New Albany, IN store #5616 for notary services.
I needed a total of 5 pages notarized.
SHOCKED to have been charged $10 for each page that needed notary seal. I was charged $50 for 5 stamps of her seal, and her writing out her name.
Even more shocked to see on my receipt that the codes used indicated notary charge is actually only $2.00 per page, but notary tacked on an additional $8.00 under misc category.
Is this in line with UPS corporate policy?
failed to appropriately pack and ship my item
Claim # [protected] store # 4455 Davie Fl owned by Patrick Eloi
My 102 pound item was inappropriately packed and shipped to my customer in Texas. This item sold on eBay and was easily proven its value of $725. It was not marked heavy whatsoever to inform any potential carrier of it's excessive weight. It had a total of 14 Styrofoam packing peanuts. It was not wrapped in any type of bubble wrap whatsoever. My customer received their item in Texas destroyed. EBay refunded them there $725 leaving me with no merchandise and out the money. This UPS store completely missed handled my case. Jeffree the assistant manager declare the value at $400 without my consent or knowledge of doing so. I have never received my item back and I only got $390. This is completely inefficient and is hurting my small business. I believe the remainder value of $490 should be paid to me promptly being that I can prove that's what my value and items sold for. It was inappropriately packed and I paid $155 for shipping. Some of that was for Jeffrey to do his job and pack my item appropriately making sure it was secure which was not done. I cannot afford to take that kind of loss. I do not have my amplifier and I do not have a sufficient refund. I did not have knowledge of his declaration of value nor did he get my consent. I can easily prove what it sold for in the money I am out. You claim that you are for small business yet you are technically stealing from mine. I paid for a service that was not rendered. The owner Patrick Eloi went out of his way to ignore me and I do not believe he is an individual with character or integrity is that you represent your corporation. I would like my remaining balance of my refund met. Under the claim number listed above, all photos and proof of purchase and sale are attached to that claim number. All requirements were met on my behalf to prove what my value was in that the item was damaged.
If the value was more than the $400, wouldn't you have to declare it as more and pay a larger insurance premium?
store closed early before christmas 12/23
I had my entire christmas shipped to the store and was going to pick it up Saturday afternoon when I recieved the last notice that my packages were in. I get there at 3:40 (knowing they close at 5) and they closed early. My entire christmas packages were inside. There was a sign that they closed early for the holidays. As a box renter, I would think I would have been informed since I get packages there all the time. I live minutes from this store and I get there to a sign on the door that they closed early and my entire christmas inside. I have nothing for under the tree until I go out Christmas eve (what I was trying to avoid) and rebuy what I can and have all the packages returned when they open after christmas. I dont understand how UPS can close early on one of the busiest seasons of the year - and without some kind of warning!
I got an email today that the last of my packages were in. There was nothing in that email that they were closing early. I arrive and hour and a half later (3:40) and they were closed. This is so wrong! They need to make it right!
ups store dane lynch owner is dangerous
I have been taking my business to Dane Lynch for a year now and I always bring in my packages wrapped and preprinted Label already sent to him as he instructed. I am always kind, sweet and more then happy to pay for any services I am using, this is a business and I am respectful of that. He has lost many of my packages and he told me it wasn't his problem. I went back after going elsewhere and again, I was always kind and pulling out my wallet to pay for the tape he would have me buy and have me tape up my own boxes and attach my labels to the boxes as well. I didn't complain. Tonight my husband and I went in with 2 boxes. There were a lot of customers in for Xmas and I passed him then boxes and said "I sent you the 2 Darlin oh and I forgot the tape I bought yesterday so can you guys just tape it up and I'll pay for it of course".. he was shaking and his eyes looked all wide and crazy, like he was smoking crack and he said to me "well since you never pay for anything then you can pay for the tape". I thought he was trying to be funny because nothing he said was based on reality. When I asked him why he was being so rude and that I always pay for the services there, he told me to take my business elsewhere and threw down another roll of tape for me to buy. I was in shock! This stranger who lost over 3 packages of mine without remorse and whom
I have been kind to and paid is now treating me like a piece Of crap in front of all he customers. I won't go into what he said but he every word and body movement was violent and he was scary as hell. My husband who is 6'2 and a hot head was speachless. I have never ever been treated so disrespectfully by anyone, let alone a stranger who was given the name Dane Lynch by the same mommy who gave him this business which encourages his talent for sitting on his ever expanding [censor]. This guy has so many issues and all of them are potentially life threatening to someone. I am going to file complaint after complaint on this giant boy.. I have read the numerous complaints against him over the years and they sound exactly like mine except I didn't call the cops yet but he is a danger and ticking time bomb. I was so scared
That I am still shaking and it happened over an hour ago. My fear now is for other women.. for him to attack me and there is no doubt that's exactly what it was.. an attack.. if he could do that to me in front of all
His customers for no reason and escalated even though I wasn't attacking back.. makes me fear for any woman who
Crosses his path.. if he is willing to do that at his business then he has no bounderies and that is dangerous. This is not the first complaint against Dane Lynch and his "business" and honestly.. his complaints all border on criminal behavior.. he should not be allowed to run this store and the UPS should disassociate themselves from this liability for its only a matter of time before he hurts someone.
unethical behavior and irresponsibility for store #3603
Hi,
I shipped documents package with 2 day air shipment and UPS missed the package when i called UPS customer service they mentioned will start investigation it may take up to 8 business days the next day they found the package but didn't receive any call from customer service I have to call each and every time to check the status about package.
Since its delayed almost 4 days I requested them to change the delivery address if they can delivery particular time the customer representative assured will be delivered by that date but not so I end up calling again customer service to request return my package but they said need to go to same store where I shipped to request it.
I went to UPS to talk to manager and he called UPS customer service and put the request so again they missed the package again called customer service to track my package.
Finally they UPS delivered my package to particular store when I asked the manager he said he didnt received it but as per UPS tracking it shows delivered. I called customer service again they said it delivered to front desk so when I went to asked same manager he is keep on telling I dont have it when I asked him to check with UPS customer service than he gave my package.
Thanks
Babu
Irresponsible behaviour
customer service
Tom, the owner of the business, is both rude and unprofessional. A notice was left by UPS that I had missed my package delivery on 12/4 and that it could be picked up from this particular store after 1pm on 12/5. So, on 12/5 I went to the store to pick up my package. It wasn't there. I was told to call the number on the back of the notice to try and figure out where it was. After calling AND checking the UPS website, there was conflicting information. The website said that the package was going to be delivered now on 12/6 to my house, but an email notification said my package was at the store. It was all very confusing, so I called the UPS store on 12/6 simply to ascertain if my package was even THERE before I went back out to that store. Tom informed me (he was very brusk) that he receives hundreds of calls a day about packages and that he IS NOT UPS, so I needed to look online. When I told him I had and tried to explain the confusion with the notices, he interrupted me and said he would just look in the computer. Why couldn't he have just done that to begin with? He then said my package was there and basically hung up on me.
Now, here comes my main complaint. I actually have to use this store monthly for this exact same shipment. I have multiple sclerosis and receive medicine from Novartis Company that helps me afford the medication. He has been consistently rude almost every time I come in. Customer service doesn't seem to be what his store is aiming for. He does his job. That's it. Back to what happened today (12/6) when I went it... I brought a notebook with me to write his name down so that I could make a complaint with his manager about his behavior and after asking him if there was a manager or if HE was the manager, he informed me that he is the owner and that he didn't know what "my problem was" in front of two other customers. He said that his business wasn't UPS and that he had no control over UPS. I responded that my problem wasn't with UPS, that it was with how rude he was being. He then accused me of continuously calling him ( I called once right before I showed), and then after I said that he accused me of constantly coming by ( I came by the day before because I had a notice that my package was there.) I wasn't upset about the package and didn't act so. I just wanted to know whether it was at HIS store or not. I was horribly embarrassed by his attitude towards me and how he spoke to me. He informed me that I can get my packages delivered to another store instead of his from now on, and I will. I am at Clayton State University, which is very closely situated to this UPS Store and will be speaking with the head of Supply Chain and Logistics ( John Mascaritolo) to see what can be done to make sure that this particular store is not used by staff or students any further, or at least use this UPS Store as an example in classes taught about how NOT to treat your customers if you want to stay in business.
computer service/printing service
I went to the store because you are able to print for $0.10 a copy. The employee wanted to charge me a extra $1.00 for time used on the computer..When she admitted being aware that "chrome "is the most compatible when using the computer. If you use internet explorer it freezes up & prompts you to use chrome. She stood behind the counter watching me use the computer while I was printing out my check stubs which is none of her business..She was a older black lady & talks very loud inside the store while customers are inside..I told her she was rude it is the holiday season and no one wants to come in contact with negative people, especially ones that are sending packages out for Christmas like her! From now on I will go to the library are use my home computer.
notarizing service on fifth ave and marion seattle
I went to the ups store on fifth and marion on november 30th in seattle and got a document notarized by brian bae. I had made my own copy of the document but he insisted as part of the notarizing service only the notary could make a copy as part of the process to ensure the document was an actual copy. He rung up the sale and as part of sale included a calendar for $1.10, when i pointed out that he made a mistake he said that the cost of the copy he made was $1.10 but there was no charge for it in the system and so he just rang up the calendar. When i told he that he didnt need to make a copy as i had my own he said only notaries could do it and that my copy was not valid. He then took my receipt and crossed out calendar and put in "copy". I looked up the cost of notarizing on your website and its a flat $10 fee with no mention of copying costs. I think brian bae is defrauding customers. I would like the $1.10 refunded and an apology from the ups store.
about a manager
My problem is that I ordered a package I called them and told them I wanted to pick It up they told me My Id hadn't to match the address I live I told them I live in the shelter I don't have a bill or lease the manger herself hung up on never more than one time then called on a unrecorded line and was rude all I wanted was a help getting my things I have a job interview tomorrow which I need the package
packing product for shipping
11/14/17 a bag of apples were brought into the store located on Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY to be packed and shipped to Texas. When I called inquiring of this service on Monday I was assured that they do this often so I took their word that they knew what they were doing. The package arrived on time but the condition was horrible! They person took the bag of apples, placed them inside a box and wrapped bubble wrap around the bag. Needless to say many of the apples were bruised or mush! I'm very surprised that the apples were not individually wrapped to minimize bruising. Needless to say I will NOT bring anything to that store again for packaging, I will pack myself and mail.
My shipment ID# MM2DCUX7YFYP5 tracking # 1Z970BX01201317132 I have attached copies of my receipts for reference.
I feel a refund would be in order as the contents were not packaged professionally to keep from being damaged.

I handed over a time sensitive travel document to be shipped overnight first class to UPS Store at the 42935 Ryan Rd, Brambleton, VA-20146 store on Thursday afternoon for Friday delivery. The package was not delivered as of Saturday and when I went the store, the guy Erich(most arrogant guy I ever saw) was so rude not to help with my package tracking or answer questions on how the handover process works, stated he does not know if UPS guy picked up the package or not and he is not responsible?, and threatened to call the cops if I stay there to ask more questions.. all this to Simone who needs to travel next week and the travel document is lost now.. Never UPS again
store 6325, bennett, co
I need an email address to copy you on the email exchanges with this store, they are completely incompetent and shipped my air mail packages by surface mail, which will take months to arrive. These items are my families essentials that were shipped separate from our shipping container so they would arrive promptly. I reiterated the need to ship them by air several times and the owner is backing her incompetent son and saying I said to ship them "the cheapest" way, which is ludicrous. I was warned by my coworkers it would take months to arrive if not shipped by air mail and I stated several times, the "least expensive air option" to this employee. I want these shipments refunded, as I am having to purchase all of the items that were shipped, and the prices of everything on this little island (Pohnpei, fm) are outrageous and I cannot afford this.
I have contacted Corporate, I submitted a complaint through the website. No one seems to care that this mess has cost me over $2000. Complete and utter incompetence. Good suggestion on BBB. I will do that.
The UPS website has a contact button you can use under their customer service section.
