Good Morning,
My name is Jeremy, I've been going to my local Tim Hortons for over 15 years, when I first started going I could always count on a friendly conversation even for 30 seconds while my food was being prepared, after going there long enough I became a regular to some servers, all in all going to Tims was something I looked forward to, friendly staff and prompt service.
Unfortunately, the "Friendly service" in my location has been on a downward decline for a few years and in my opinion has hit rock bottom, over the last year my local store has had a second drive-through installed and undergone a remodel that did away with any kind of indoor seating, you pull up to the drive through, make your order go to the window, as soon as you pay the employees are shoving your food out the window and doing everything they can to get you to move along, I've lost count of how many times I've been putting my wallet back into my pocket and one of your employees is impatiently shoving food out the window practically reaching into my car window to get me to take my order.
Your store has gone from "Friendly Service" to "Get your food and get out"
Your staff DOES NOT know how to listen, I cannot stress this enough, my experience in your drive through consists of me repeating myself multiple times and still not being heard, there is so much noise in the background that I'm not even surprised they can't hear me, sometimes when they read my order back to me and it's so far from what I originally ordered that it boggles my mind how the mix up was made, I don't know how management is training their employees at your location but they need to train them to LISTEN.
Today after I struggled through ordering my food (I had to repeat three times that I wanted "Two" of an item i'd ordered, I was reassured "Yes yes we have your order pull through" only to get to the window and find they only had one of what I'd ordered, so not only did the person lie to me to get me to move forward to help the next customer the young woman was irritated with me when I informed her I'd had to correct the order taker three times and I was still not receiving what i'd ordered.
Her response was a Terse "Cool" she corrected my order, did not speak to me the rest of the time she was serving me, the look on her face was angry and her body language was stiff and true to the form I've come to expect she shoved my food out the window and I went along my way.
Desired outcome: I'm unsure of what kind of image Tim Hortons is going for in this day and age but I have to believe "Get your food and get out" is Not what you are striving for.
