Airline booking
In February of 2022, I booked a flight on JetBlue airlines through Travelocity. JetBlue cancelled that flight and I was told by Travelocity at that time that a refund would be issued. Four months later, I had not yet received a refund and called Travelocity again. They claimed that they no longer had the necessary records since "the refund will be issued by JetBlue" and directed me to call the airline. I did that and was told by JetBlue that they had issued a refund to Travelocity on 2/27/22 and that I needed to deal with Travelocity in order to get my refund. I called Travelocity once again on June 13 and the agent acknowledged that the airline had refunded Travelocity but that Travelocity had not yet refunded me. He said that this would take 36-48 hours. On June 16, I received an email from Travelocity indicating that since the airline was going to issue the refund, I needed to deal with them. I then called Travelocity, which put me on hold for an hour, dropped off the line and left me on hold with JetBlue. I called Travelocity back and asked to speak with a supervisor was told none was available. The agent offered to call JetBlue to confirm that the refund went to Travelocity and not me, but that I would have to remain on the line in order to do that. I simply did not have the time to wait for another couple of hours on hold and was told that I should call back.
Desired outcome: I would like to get the refund that everyone agrees I am owed.
Covid Flight ticket credit
I have purchased an airfare ticket to Korea on Travelocity to travel in April 2020.
Unfortunately, it was canceled due to COVID in 2020. When I contact Travelocity virtual agent, I was told my ticket is good till the end of September 2022. I do have a screenshot of the conversation about the expiration date. Recently, I contacted the Travelocity virtual agent to schedule my trip and found out the itinerary was expired according to the agent. I have not received any information about the change.
They kept me believing that they will work with the airline and will keep me informed but they never did. This has been going on for 3 months. Now, I found out there is not a whole lot they can do about it because my itinerary number is no longer available for them to reschedule the trip with the airline. No one from this company is taking responsibility for the issue I have.
Desired outcome: I would like them to keep their promise as they should.
Here is my payment to Travelocity for the trip.
Travelocity booking: [protected]
I made a hotel booking and paid 100% upfront.
I had to cancel the reservation and did so in compliance with the terms on their website (the terms have since changed, but I have copies of the old ones).
They have not refunded but a portion of my funds even after they promised they would. They claim that the hotel is not refunding it. I spent 2 weeks discussing this in their chats, speaking to more than six different reps.
I made the agreement with Travelocity and followed their terms, why should I be penalized for an issue between the hotel and Travelocity?
Desired outcome: Refund of the rest of my funds.
Insurance/flight credits
Flights booked in February with full insurance. Flights cancelled in May- told there is a $99/per person fee for re-booking. While attempting to re-book, I keep getting redirected outside of Travelocity to Expedia. I didn't have an Expedia account, so I created one and it shows no flight credits. While trying to book flights with my credits (american airlines and delta) the cost of each flight increased by over $55 per person once I selected "use flight credits" this is classic bait and switch and misadvertising! I have screen shots of one way tickets for $326 each. However, when I select "apply airline credit" each flight increases to $373 each! Then, they attempt to subtract the credit to try to make me believe I'm getting a great deal. I did multiple chats with multiple travelocity agents (totalling over 5 hours of my time) and they all told me different information (I have the transcripts). Travelocity will not let me apply american airlines and delta credits despite booking flights with each. prices change when credits are applied.
Desired outcome: FULL refund of all cancelled flights in the amount of $1487.00

My name is Debbie Velazquez, in July of 2021, I reserved & paid for my trip to St.Croix, VI., leaving Newark NJ to St. Croix on 10/7/21, returning on 10/12/21. Staying @ Divi Carina Resort St. Croix, all inclusive. When I arrived @ the resort, I was told that Divi Carina Resort will not be All inclusive until February 2022. The front desk rep stated that they had informed Travelocity of this change in September 2021. Travelocity never informed me until 10/6/21. Now I was forced to purchase all food and drinks out of pocket. When I arrived home, I sent Travelocity pics of all receipts. Travelocity gave me a coupon of $400 which expires November 2022. I asked If my coupon was valid for my trip to Puerto Rico in October 2022, and was told No.
Coupon is only valid in the 48 states. My problem? Why? What is the legal explanation?
Please help! I'm planning a trip to Puerto Rico in Oct.
Need your help desperately.
Thank you,
Debbie Velazquez
Desired outcome: Desired outcome is: Want to be able to use my $400 coupon towards my trip to Puerto Rico in October.
never booking me a return ticket but giving me confirmation
Travelocity did me dirty AND STRANDED ME IN MONTREAL ALONE WITH NO ACCOMMODATIONS. I originally had my return flight to Vancouver on March 17th, but due to doctor's appointments, I had to change my flight to April 6th.
When I originally made the change with a Travelocity agent over the phone, she sent me my new confirmation email, and when I asked if there would be a charge for any fare difference she assured me no, because the flights were still cheap (the same as what I originally bought my ticket) and that because of this, there would be no need to make a claim with my travel insurance.
Cut to April 6th, I arrive at the airport and am unable to check in. I speak to every level of aircanada agent/attending for assistance and they discover Travelocity never issued me a new ticket.
I then am instructed to contact Travelocity directly so they may remedy the problem. I do so via their online support portal, where I spoke to 3 separate people (on different occasions) and nothing was being done. I asked to speak to a manager who created a case number for me, and assured me they were going to do their best to fix the situation and put me on a 7:40 am flight on April 7th, because I have school appointments in Vancouver. He told me my case was urgent and that I would need to call back in 7 hrs to hear what the airline agreed to. In the meantime, I had to book a hotel room, and pay my way to and from the said hotel because "the shuttles were out".
At the hotel, I then call Travelocity back, not 1 but 4 times in the span of 8 hrs, because they would "try" to help me, and then disconnect the call before any resolution was made after having been on the line between 30 minutes to an hr.
Finally at three in the morning, an agent tells me I am booked on the 6:30pm flight to Vancouver, and not the 7:40 am flight like I was previously told BY A MANAGER that I would be on. When I confirmation with the agent that this was real, and that I would show up at the airport and the ticket would be there, so I can finally go, he told be yes 100%.
Upon arriving to the airport this morning, I discovered Travelocity's agent had lied to me, and that there was no ticket here waiting for me.
When I once again called to see what had happened, I was instructed AGAIN to start this entire process again, with calling back in X amount of hrs to hear word. Tired and frustrated from these constant circles Travelocity had me running in with no solution and false promises of getting me home, I had to max out my credit card to get a hotel room and rides to and from the airport. My mother also had to max out her card to get me on a new flight out of Ottawa April 7th, so I can at least make the last of my appointments. . What is the point of having travel insurance if this us the reward?
I have screenshot records if needed.
Desired outcome: Please refund my hotel room, Uber's and the emergency plane ticket my mother had to purchase. I would also appreciate an apology for the emotional turmoil the entire situation put me through.
Using flight credit
We have flight credits from Qantas that are still active but aren't showing as available in Travelocity account. We have called and confirmed with the airline that the expiration of the credit has been extended to Dec 2023. They have also shown that in their website:
https://www.qantas.com/au/en/manage-booking/credit-vouchers.html
Getting a hold of someone in Travelocity itself is a nightmare. Virtual agent virtually goes on a loop with asking the same questions. When I finally got a hold of an agent (three times by now!), they weren't able to assist. The first agent said he couldn't find the policy and had to raise a case. The second agent has confirmed our credit but couldn't book our flights because of his system issue. I told him to make the credit available then I could book the flights myself. He said he did but just waiting for the system to update to reflect the credit.
We have now received confirmation that yes the credit is available but I'm still unable to use it. Honestly this has been an absolute nightmare and consume a lot of time. Please just let me and my family use our flight credit so we can see our family overseas.
Desired outcome: Please refund or let us use our flight credit.
Use of airline credit to book a flight
On Apr. 27, I tried to use a credit to pay for a flight to MSP from ORD; I could not find clear instructions on the web site so I used online "chat" to connect with an agent. The agent (Om) tried for over an hour to help me use the credit after first saying the credit had expired (which it had not) and then trying to help with applying the credit. He was unsuccessful and promised a call back within 6 hours--which never happened. On Apr. 28, I was on the online chat with Lavanya with the same results--over an hour on the phone, no success in applying the credit, and promise of a call-back within 72 hours--which also never happened. On April 29, I tried connecting with Travelocity via Facebook and received conflicting info from that person. She told me I would have to pay the difference between the credit and the new fare and was prepared to take my credit card for that difference and then said she could not proceed.
I have been a Travelocity customer for years and have never had an experience this bad. The chat log is available in my profile for review.
Desired outcome: I want the credit for the Covid-related United flight cancellation to be applied to a new United booking. I also want a call back from Travelocity.
air fare come-ons
3 times now Travelocity advertised on the internet low fares but when I click it comes up at least $80 more. When I call customer service the standard answer seems to be "air fares change daily" - yet tomorrow when I look, the same lower price is still listed.
I believe Travelocity is using "come on" pricing as their advertised pricing does not really exist.
Today I waited on hold for 1 hour & 15 minutes just to have someone once again tell me "air fares change daily" then proceeded to tell me the only way they could get me from Venice to Cairo at the advertised price was to make it a full 24 hour travel day.
Bottom Line: I went to Kayak & not only did I get a cheaper flight, but it is only 8 hours - not 24. Needless to say I will not be using Travelocity ever again
Booked on "nonexistent flight"
I arrived to the airport to check in and was told I had to go to the help desk. I was informed at the help desk that I could not check in because my connecting flight home "did no exist." I questioned if that meant it was cancelled and was told by United airlines supervisors and managers, who had all gathered around at this time to try and resolve my issue, that it was NOT cancelled but instead did not and never did exist. I begged them to allow me to get on my flight to Key West because it was to see my niece get married. Thankfully they allowed me to check in. Looking on my Travelocity app, everything was still there for my flights, nothing was cancelled or changed. While waiting to board, I contacted Travelocity for the first time. That representative told me the flight had originally been cancelled and then the airline switched my status and she could not rebook me on a flight. She insisted I speak with United, which I was doing while still at the airport and they insisted it was a problem with Travelocity. I told her I wanted to speak with a manager and she said one would call me back. I explained I was about to board my flight and would obviously be unable to talk. She said they would call when I landed. The next day I had received no call and called again, having to start all over with that representative. He tried getting me on different flights home that would require me to miss events on Friday or have extremely long layovers. He asked if I could leave Saturday instead and offered a $100 voucher for my $450/night hotel so obviously that was not an option. I again asked to speak to a manager and was told they would call me back. Thursday afternoon I still had no calls returned and called again. I spoke to another gentleman who insisted I needed to call United and he could not help me at all. I said how is that possible when earlier someone was trying to book me a flight? I again asked to speak to a manager and he said they would call back. I nearly lost it. I was on the way to my niece's wedding and explained I would not be able to answer my phone if someone called. They called in the middle of the wedding to which I excused myself. I had to re-explain everything to the manager and she offered to call the airline but I could not stay on the line. The next morning I woke up to an alert on my phone that I was late checking in for my 8:15am flight that I had apparently been booked on without my knowledge. I called yet again and this representative told me my original flight had been cancelled by the airlines the day after I booked and it was the airlines fault. I disagreed but said ok so let's just say they cancelled, for arguments sake, why was I not notified or switched to a different flight at that time? I travel frequently and usually use Priceline and they will notify me of any changes. She had no answer for that. She then called the airlines and the only available flight was at 4pm but I would have to pay the difference in ticket price. I refused to pay anything and told her I was not hanging up until I spoke to a manager or was booked for no charge on a flight. At that point, I had no choice but to take the 4pm flight causing me to miss the events we had planned for Friday with my family to celebrate my niece's wedding and part of the whole reason I went to Key West. I lost money on the brunch cruise we had booked and had to arrange my own transportation to the airport because all of my family were on the cruise. I will never use Travelocity again and I deserve some type of reimbursement for this disaster, the amount of time I wasted on the phone, having to miss part of the wedding, and losing money on the brunch.
Desired outcome: Refund and reimbursement.
Airline refund
Original date of travel was March 2020. Flight was canceled due to Pandemic and all inability to travel abroad. Multiple correspondence by email and multiple phone calls to Billing and Refund agents who stated that my Refund was in progress from the AIR TRANSAT Airline.
Confirmed Bailout was granted to Travelocity from the Government and they still refuse to Refund their customers. Air Transat was called directly to inquire about refund and I was told that they have encountered many many complaints from their customers about this Company.
Travelocity Agents guaranteed the refund within 8-12 weeks and I am still waiting for my $316.50 USD to be refunded...
Desired outcome: I would like my refund for my canceled flight as soon as possible
No reservation
I booked a hotel (The Strand) in Myrtle Beach, SC for a weekend with Travelocity. When I arrived, there was no record of our booking. The hotel claimed they did not receive the booking request from Travelocity. I spent hours on the phone with Travelocity who claims the reservation was made correctly on their end. More or less, Travelocity told me there was nothing they could do because they could see the reservation in their computer system. The hotel said there was nothing they could do because they could not see the reservation. I was completely stuck. We ended up paying for a room last minute at a much rate than what we booked and that had accommodations unsuitable for our party. We did this just to have a place to stay because we were running a marathon the next day and needed a place to sleep that night.
When I called repeatedly in the days that followed to Travelocity to ask them to contact the hotel to sort it out, they told me by telling me they were trying to contact the hotel and would be in touch when they heard back. To date (that was four weeks ago), the situation has not been resolved by either party.
I do not know who was at fault in this situation. But, the fact that I booked through Travelocity but received next to NO help in resolving the issue when we showed up and did not have a place to stay is why I will never use this company again.
Desired outcome: Travelocity should work with the hotel to cover the difference in between the rate I booked the hotel for through Travelocity and the rate we actually paid when we had to book last minute because there was no reservation waiting for us.
Car hire over charging - Costa Rica
HI
I booked an economy car to collect in San Jose, Costa Rica, on the 21st February (Fox Car rental/ Europcar).
A deposit of US$231 was paid with a balance of US$404 to be paid on collection in San Jose (including cdw). Europ charged £932 (pounds) on top of the deposit, so I ended up paying £762 more than the accepted agreement. I still got an economy car.
When I collected the car the agent said they did not have to honour agreements made in the UK.
I am asking for a refund of £762. Neither of the telephone numbers on the Travelocity booking confirmation work.

No response on response of airline tickets
I booked tickets through your sight to Phuket back in August to Phuket # [protected]. In October Alaska changes some flight times which I received an email from and at this time it showed that my flight to Singapore was still confirmed. Around January I check on my flight and it appeared that my flight with Singapore had been canceled so I contacted Glydel at Travelocity. She informed me that my flight had been voided and that the airline was in control of it for some reason. I would have to call the airline to figure it out. I tried calling Singapore air for days and couldn't get anyone to answer the phone. I tried several different numbers. After my frustration I contracted Travelocity back and got a hold of Joselin who was no help and tried to tell me that I canceled the ticket which I didn't and that my money was already refunded which it was not. She even told me it was processed to my Visa but we never received it. She was not very nice. So I closed the chat and tried someone else and got Rupal. Told him the Situation, he sked to the Itinerary number and just canceled the flight with out asking and issued a refund. I just wanted to know if the flight was truly voided. He told me I would get a refund in 72hrs. that was in January. I contacted again Feb 5th because I haven't received anything and got Adeifa. He informed me that I would have to contact the airport for the refund since it was tuned over to them and I refused to do it since I've called them several times and can't get through and its not my mistake. I didn't ask to have the flight canceled. Finally he agreed to contact the airline to find out the status of the refund and I'm still waiting. I have received a couple of email. One asking for the receipt and one telling me they would have me the refund 72 Hrs. That was Feb 9th. I have emailed several times with zero response. Also because of this mix up I had to rebook my flight and it caused me 500 more which I'm not happy about.
Desired outcome: I want my refund as soon as possible.
Changed/Cancelled flights
I booked a roundtrip ticket to Anchorage to visit a friend in February 2022. The flight was originally for a direct flight but it was changed at least three times and led to less desirable times and with a connection, including waiting 5 hours in the Seattle airport.
When I was in Alaska, I was told that my return flight was cancelled and a new flight was not booked. I spent a good part of my vacation scrambling to figure out why and book a new flight.
It turns out that when Travelocity changed me from Alaska to Delta for the first flight, they forgot to tell Alaska airlines. So Alaska had me as a 'no show' for the initial flight and cancelled my return flight.
After two hours on the phone with a customer service agent, I was left to buy my own flight back home. It cost me about half of my vacation time trying to book and $600. I also was left with awful flight and connection times.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund for the entire trip including the new flight I had to book. It was not at all what I booked and it caused me much more trouble than it should have for no fault of my own.
Customer service
I had a trip planned to Poland but since there is a war going on I figured they woudl be more than willing to get my refund secured. but not the case they apparently dont care if i get shot. My trip was planned for March 5th to the 15th. There are american soldiers in Poland on the border with Ukraine and there are refugees all over the country. what more has to be done for this to be seen as unsafe.

Desired outcome: A refund or credit for a future trip from Travelocity, is acceptable.
Spokane Flight to Fiji (Nadi)
File #[protected] . Two legs of our trip to Fiji were re-arranged by Alaska Airlines---We were to fly out at about 5PM to Los Angeles and that flight got switched to 7 AM causing a 10 hour or more layover. Return trip similar with an increased layover of 5 hours. Called Alaska Air (very nice) but after 1 1/2 hours they said I would have to call Fiji Airways. 30 minutes later Fiji Air said I would have to contact Travelocity. Went to computer, bot after a half hour connected me to a real chat person. Chat person after 20 minutes said they were having computer problems, try back in a hour--same for next two hours. Got phone number and talked with real people--1 hour or so later "supervisor" said Alaska Air had not released any other option flights for us to check back in a few days. Went to travelocity website and put in all the same criteria and the flights I was hoping to change to came up as the preferred flights for our trip---but Travelocity said nothing was available. Hoping to find someone that actually knows how to fix this.
Desired outcome: Would appreciate someone taking the time to restructure the Alaska Airline Flights so we do not have to spend an extra 15 hours in the airport----Flights are available to accommodate our elderly needs (over 70)
Name verification/correction
Itinerary #[protected] I am having problems getting my passenger's name verified and/or corrected. The name is Andrea Freeman, and it should be Andrea Maria Freeman. I've called for times for this request and it still is not correct. They booked me with two different airlines and now they tell me I have to contact Sprit Airlines to make the request myself. They booked it they should fix it. both airline verification/correction. I am only asking that they verify the middle name and/ or correct it. This has been ongoing for a month, I need this corrected please. Clarence Yarbough [protected]. I have already fill out the form for AA and they still haven't changed it. I received a letter from them to call before they can change it, i call and nothing has changed as of yet.
Desired outcome: That The name be verified and or corrected for both airlines as Andrea Maria Freeman, that's it. Retired Veteran.
Trip interuption due to Travelocity error
I purchased a round trip to CR from Grand Cayman via Miami. On my original booking the flight were from GCM to MIA to CR on December 20th, 2021 and return on January 3rd 2022. In October I contacted Travelocity to change my return flight to January 6th. I spoke to an agent from Travelocity and then received and email confirmation of the change. When I arrived at the airport in CR to check in with my return flight to Miami with Avianca I was informed I didn't have a ticket because I missed my flight on January 3rd. I had to then called on roaming to Avianca customer service, I was on the phone for more than 45minutes on roaming and paid pver $400 dollars for a new ticket from SJO to MIA. When I arrived in Miami I was delayed for 3 hrs in Immigration and I also lost my connection from MIA back to Grand Cayman. I had to buy another ticket with Cayman Airways $205, spend one night at the Miami Airport Hotel $120 and pay for an extra Covid test $75 in order to fly. My total extra charges for the trip were over $1,200. I had also purchase trip protection with Travelocity which clearly explains it includes 100% trip interruption or delayed protection and when I started a claim with that insurace they refused to pay saying it only covers delayed due to illness, family fatalies and nothing of trip delays. I have used Travelocity many times before but this time they lost me as a client.
Travelocity Flights
Had to cancel a trip because of covid. I banked the flight for later. Tried booking a trip for this May. Was told my credit expired in March. I produced a copy of a Travelocity agent conversation where I was told the credit was good until 12/22. Travelocity will not honor my credit.
Desired outcome: I just want to take the trip I already paid for
