In April 2023, I paid my HOA dues online through Truist. At the end of the month, my HOA association notified me that my dues had not been paid, incurring a total of $114 in late fees and penalties. I had a confirmation# from Truist, so I contacted them and (after holding 40 minutes!) an extremely rude customer service rep told me that I had entered my account# incorrectly. I pay two separate HOA dues, so that would mean that I would have had to enter my my account incorrectly FOUR times (two times for each payment)! NOT possible! When I suggested that there must have been an error on the bank's part and would they please research it, I was told "ma'am we do not have the staff for that"! Today, Oct. 2, 2023 I called with a question on my HOA dues, held for 22 minutes, at which time the call dropped. I called back and held for another 15 minutes. Finally got another EXTREMELY rude customer service rep, who I never got one complete sentence completed without being interrupted. I asked her to please allow me to finish what I was trying to ask, and she replied "ma'am we are extremely busy, and I have many other calls holding"!
Desired outcome: A refund of my $114
