Buyer beware! Uber Eats in Winter Haven, Florida refuses to make refunds or issue credits when they make mistakes on your order and leave items you have paid for out depending on which restaurant you order from. This is deceptive and unfair because all of the other delivery services do not operate in this manner and Uber Eats doesn’t inform customers of this “policy” until after you have paid and tipped in advance for food you end up not receiving. I gave Uber Eats 1 star only because there is no option to give 0 stars.
Desired outcome: I advised Uber Eats I want a refund or Uber Cash as compensation for 1 item that was left off of my delivery and they refused.
Driver eating half my order the last 6 time's of ordering
My son order's for me due to my disability and am unable to drive. The orders are for the children or child I am in charge of. This man driver alway's eats half the order's from the last 6 deliveries and Uber eats phone complaint only refunded me $3.00 for one of them order's. That driver needs to be held accountable and pay or refunded the customer in full.That is disappointing and disgusting touching other people's food when you've been hired to do a job not Steal from the Customers. I recommend not using Uber eats if they Hire Thieves and then not reimburse the customer AND FIRE DRIVER for thievery. Children need to eat not that driver. Wasn't purchased for that greedy man.

On February 11, 2021, I order food from Red Lobster and the food was wrong and cold as well as not fresh. I filed a dispute the same day with Uber eats and they agreed to refund my $63.00. However, when I tried on several occasions to order an Uber ride, I was forced to pay the $63.00 prior to ordering the ride. I disputed the charge with my back on three different occasions, in which they got my money refunded.
On 11/28/22, I ordered an Uber ride, and I was forced again to pay the $63.00. I contacted Uber Eats to see why they keep asking for $63.00, before I can get service and they didn't have a substantial answer.
I would like to know if you could please help me get the $63.00 back and ask them to stop forcing me to pay $63.00 when they agreed to refund me back on February 11, 2021.

Hello, I am contacting you about an order placed on the 20th Nov. at around 6 30pm to Le Spice Merchant in Wellingborough on the uber app we gave them a call to ask about our order and they said that they were preparing the order after a long wait we had to phone them to ask about the order and was told that they had cancelled the order as they could not deliver to Kettering where we were which they have done in the past ,they said they were short of drivers. I asked then about the payment I made and was told it would be refunded between 7 to 10 days. About 1 year ago, I order food thru Uber Eats. I received the food 2 hours late and it was extremely cold, because the driver left it on my doorstep in 10-degree weather. I called Uber eats and they agreed to refund my money back. About $63.10 in totally.
Now, whenever I try to order an Uber car, I am asked to pay the $63.10 before I can go any further. This has happened three times and my bank had to fight to get the money back.
I would like for Uber Eats to refund my $63.10, in which they asked for it yesterday, and also stop erase it from my account per our agreement.

Uber Eats and taking more money than suppose to
On November 19th I placed an online order - for some reason. It went through twice but I got a phone call from Uber Eats and they said they would only charge me once and to watch my bank account for the next few days after the weekend - I did and nothing came out emails and messages to Uber Eats help online and they told me since I did not ask prior to 48 hours I am out $219 extra dollars - we’ll never got the food from the second order and not happy at all.
I have asked and asked for my money and they tell me NO!

I order from Uber Eats all the time and the past 5-6 orders i have gotten from them have been trash and they have given me an issue about refunding my money and put a refund block on my account. The last 4 times i ordered from starbucks i received drinks that had about a quarter of my drink missing. I took pictures and sent to them and they told me it was unopened so they could not do anything. Mind you if i was a customer in the store and they gave me a drink like this i would not accept being that they already over charge for coffee to begin with. At this time they told me no refund i asked to speak to a supervisor or someone above who i was speaking to. They told me they dont do that, and that a supervisor would call me back. A "supervisor" did not call me for 9 hours. Today i ordered from Panera cuz i thought maybe i could get a coffee that is actually worth the money im spending. Yet again my coffee tasted like dirty water and my food was cold and hard because my driver made 2 other stops and didnt get here for an hour and a half. When i called them they told me my account was blocked, i again asked for another cll back from the supervisor and they told me they would get back to me. so i said can you at least refund me my delivery and service fees since the reason my food was cold was because my uber driving made multiple stops, they refused. Im about sick and tired of the BS and the horrible customer service they provide and they lost a loyal customer today. DO NOT ORDER FROM UBER EATS they overcharge on the food and the delivery fee and are very unhelpful when they screw up.

I'd like a refund for the food I purchased which was going to the wrong address
Beware of using uber eats and making a cancelation. I placed an order for some food and realized it was going to the wrong address. Realizing this mistake, I cancelled the order expecting to get a refund. Come to find out since the vendor had accepted the order and even though the address was incorrect, I was still charged for the food. I contacted Uber eats customer service several times and was told the same thing every time. Their cancelation policy requires them to not issue a refund if the order was accepted by the vendor. I asked for flexibility in my case as the food was set to go to a different address then it was supposed to. They did not care. They insisted the policy had to apply because of the acceptance of the order by the vendor. They eventually said they would transfer me to an email-based department. However as of this writing over 12 hours later, I have not received any response from this department. I asked if they would have issued a refund had the food been delivered to the wrong address and they did not give me a straight response. Do not use this service.

I have placed an order from KFC Parow, UberEATS driver never delivered my food, I have called UberEATS support team, took me R40 airtime to ask for my refund, I have placed a order for the second time at the same KFC Parow, that UberEATS driver does the same.

Food cancellation - no refund
On the 25th of October I order food from the famous 8 restaurant in liverpool through Uber eats app at about 19:30 hours! The food never arrived and I call several times with no respond! At 23:00 at night the called me that my food was ready! I told them is 4 hours late and I order an other food and the restaurant cancel the order! They send me that I will take refund in 10 working days! Never got any refund!
Promo Code Scam
UberEats kept sending me emails for $30 off my first meal and so I finally caved. The promo code appeared to apply and when I pressed "Order", suddenly the promo code disappeared and it said my credit card had been charged the total amount. In fine print, it said that it was a temporary hold and was NOT a charge, and will be removed shortly. It never got removed. Customer service was not helpful at all, sent me in circles with different representatives, and refused to refund or compensate. I tried to do a chargeback with my credit card company and they are also unable to do anything because I didn't have a screenshot of the order where the promo code was applied and successful (because who takes screenshots of that?). Either way, it's a scam by UberEats and many people have had this exact issue. Save your money and save yourself the headache. If you're in the same boat as me, we're taking the L on this one.

The driver was very late, we tried many times calling him and explaining where to go, he refused to listen as was very late, on top of that I got a notification from Uber Eats now to notify me that the driver reported that I did not pay him, when in fact we paid him at the security point in front of the complex security camera. I am not going to pay this bill and in fact should be refunded as to make me a liar. I have tried to report this on the app but for this situation there is no option. I expect to hear from Uber asap and for my profile to remove the ridiculous claim that I did not pay for my order.

I've done a purchase and driver did not deliver
I had placed an order and the address was an issue when talking to the driver telephonically he under sold directions and proceeded saying his on his way he never came and the contact number that I was communicating with him on said my call is blocked because the trip is completed or canceled. Order not registered, never arrived but money still taken
I placed a coffee order on 14/11 with Uber Eats, but it never arrived. When I checked it seems the order wasn't registered and the last purchase showing was from the 11th Nov.
However, the money was still taken from my account with no refund given. I am not sure what happened but this isn't the first time I have had issues with deliveries not arriving or completely wrong orders. I took a break from July to Nov due to all the issues. The order on the 11th there were no problems so thought I'd order again via Uber Eats.
I am also not happy as you can't easily contact Uber Eats to log issues such as this one. Where it seems the order may have been cancelled last minute/they couldn't get a driver, but I received no notification and money still taken.
Desired outcome: Refund for £10. 69 (x2 coffees from Coffee 1) ordered on 14/11. The money came out of the bank account but the order was not logged and never arrived.

On the 26th of August I ordered Chicken Licken as I always ordered via Uber eats. The order never came through, the guy called to say his outside, but he was not because I was outside waiting for him. then a moment again later the app said the order is delivered and I need to pay R 173.70, but I never received the order. So, I went back to check the sleep and delivery address and noted that the driver went to the wrong address where I never been to before.
