As an Uber One member, I expected premium service, but my recent experience has been nothing short of frustrating and disappointing.
Wrong Item Delivered: I received an item that was not what I ordered and cost more than my original purchase. Despite providing clear evidence (including photos), my request for a refund or adjustment was denied without explanation or alternative solutions.
Ignored Membership Benefits: As a paying member of Uber One, I anticipated better service, yet the customer support team failed to resolve my issue, ignored my concerns, and treated me as though my membership meant nothing.
Request to Cancel Membership Dismissed: When I asked for my Uber One membership to be canceled, the representative ignored my request and abruptly ended the chat, claiming the issue was resolved when it clearly wasn’t.
Robotic and Unempathetic Responses: The entire interaction felt scripted and dismissive. There was no genuine attempt to resolve my issue or retain me as a customer.
Ending the Chat Prematurely: Without confirming resolution or canceling my account, the representative closed the chat and left me feeling undervalued and unheard.
This experience has pissed me off and my trust in Uber Eats and Uber One is done. Their customer service is terrible and I can no longer rely on them.
I’m taking my business to DoorDash or any other third-party service that values its customers and provides better service.
If you’re considering Uber Eats or Uber One, think twice. My experience shows that even paying for premium service doesn’t guarantee fair treatment or adequate support.
Recommendation: If you’re considering Uber Eats or Uber One, think twice. My experience shows that even paying for premium service doesn’t guarantee fair treatment or adequate support.
This was a huge disappointment for Uber One account holders. If the goods have been delivered, the customer has the option of disputing the charge with the payment provider, but does say, that they will not cancel the membership or give a refund. Such arrogant approach speaks for itself fix something that they do not want to fix anyways, without even trying. You will definitely be better served with another competitor, or with DoorDash who understands the worth of your money and trust.
