unlimited vacation club
It doesn't take a lot of effort to find a very large group of people who have been conned into a membership in this entity as a result of false promises and misrepresentations by the salespeople they employ. We are investigating a class action suit against this pack of wolves and if you are interested in joining we would love to hear from you. These bad actors need to be throttled or put out of business.
I would like to cancel my contract.
Our family purchased one a couple months ago. And all we have received are negative feedback about this company. We tried booking but the costs are extremely high. I just keep paying monthly but get nothing out of it. This is a total SCAM! Does anyone have any idea on how to get out of this contract?

In the sales meeting at Sunscape Sabor Cozumel the male sales rep asked me what we paid for our room for the week stay which was around $900. He said with joining the club you would pay $200 for a week stay. after purchasing the membership a year later I went to price a week stay and I was told the discount is only 25% of regular price. I was also told in the meeting by the male rep that he would throw in a week stay that could be used right away for no cost which was not true when I inquired about using it. False sales by these 2 representatives.

unlimited vacation club scam
We have over $10k into this club and have never been able to book a vacation with them since we bought in 2 yrs ago. They promised us a free vacation and 2 other vacation at $249.00 each but that's a joke. I need to get out of this SCAM. We met another couple from PA who bought in the same time as us and we are friends now and they have the same issues

I've been literally forced to attend 45 min presentation that ended up almost 7! Hours from my vacation time at Secrets Akumal on 09/04/2019. Champagne, 8! Members of UVC was "working" with me. I said 2(two) times of NO, signed a paper for not to be able to participate in any future presentations... and still signed under some alcohol influence and being so tired after long trip, that they used this as advantage. Drago, the name of main manager, " forgot" to include a cancellation time and when I came yesterday to say I want to cancel, the answer : "It is too late". Very convenient also the short memory for telling a client about annual fee?! Zero disclosure! I want to participate in class action . My direct contact # in USA [protected]. My account ID SAI-003361 Elena.
prices for upgrade to preferred
We are traveling to Secrets and used one of our Premier Night Weeks and booked at Secrets Silvers Sands for Sept 13th-20th 2019 which after a few months we were contacted and advised the resort would be closing and we needed to be moved to The Vine which was a better deal anyway...because of our contract it was 2 for 1.
We agreed to the change and looked into a upgrade directly with the Resort to Preferred Club. We were quoted $700 for the week, even though the Preferred Pool would be closed during our stay. When you go directly to the Secrets website and look at prices for the upgrade its $240. So...they are ripping us off. I realize this is directly at the Resort, but they are all one company. Aren't we as UVC members suppose to be getting better deals then just anyone that is not a member. We are very unhappy with our membership

We were lied to, bottom line. What was supposed to be a 90 min presentation took 6 hours. We were promised so many things and what we were told doesn't match what we were given. We were fed drinks to our hearts desire, and I was so intoxicated I don't even recall signing the documents. On top of that, what I remember signing is not what I saw in the emailed contract. I know I'm smarter than this. This decision is making me ill physically and I'm outside of the 5 day cooling off period but still under 10 days. I've contacted UVC, and both credit card companies that I'm disputing charges due to fraud. Im probably going to have to hire an attorney and I'm prepared to do so. Lesson learned. The salesman was American...couldn't ask for a nicer guy. I think that is why we were so trusting. I've not slept since Monday.
These scams should be against the law and if I manage to get out of this, it will be my sole purpose to expose the lies and false advertising.

cancellation process is a nightmare and customer service is rude and not helpful
My wife and I unfortunately got into a contract with UVC while vacationing in Mexico. We got into this because they informed us at our hotel that we can cancel at any time, the only problem with cancelling would be that whatever money we have already paid cannot be paid back which we understood. Within a year into our contract, we decided to cancel because we literally saw no benefit of having this. Whenever we tried to book a vacation there was always a cost and they even said that if we ever tried to book anything and found the same deal or a cheaper deal on another website that they would match it. THAT IS NOT THE CASE. Anyways, around the 1 year mark we decided to cancel so we called UVC to ask for the cancellation. They confirmed this over the phone but sent nothing to prove it. We called back not too long after because 1) we noticed nothing was sent and 2) they proceeded to charge us for our monthly dues again and when we called back they had nothing in their system that showed that we had called prior to cancel. How convenient. Eventually they finally got the point and sent us to quality assurance where we have dealt with the most condescending person ever, Jesús Eduardo Rocha. Mr. Rocha explained to us that in order to cancel we have to have paid 50% of the price of our contract. We explained that this was not told to us but we agreed to pay that as it was only about $200 more. When we agreed to pay this fee to cancel this contract, Mr. Rocha came back and told us there was nothing he could do for us because we filed a dispute with our bank. We explained that we did this because UVC charged us a monthly fee eventhough we had already requested to cancel. It has been almost 4 months now and Mr. Rocha continues to say he cannot do anything unless we remove the dispute which we refuse to do. Since then, we got a letter from our bank stating the dispute has been resolved and that UVC wrongfully charged us and that we will get that money back. We got refunded the monthly dues we paid after cancellation. Since the dispute has been resolved, we reached out to Mr. Rocha to let him know which he continues to say that on his end it is still not resolved and that he cannot help. I can't eve call the customer service line to speak to anyone else because supposedly, since my account was sent to quality assurance no one can help besides the assigned person. Also, when i ask to speak to someone in a higher position, a manager perhaps, Mr. Rocha states there is no one else. This is by far the most frustrating process i have ever experience when cancelling. We aren't even arguing the fact that we have to pay a fee to be at 50% of the membership price eventhough, that was wrongfully presented to us during the original sale. We need someone to contact us and let us pay the fee given to us to cancel so that we can be done with this. This is the worst company ever.
member service
my husband, children & I are Pearl members of UVC. Our 2 boys & our four nephews visited a Breathless Cancun location for the first time in December (12/14/2018-12/19/2018). We tried to book the vacation through UVC & was given a price & than the price was taken back. We were told that they miss-quoted. The price that they gave us was only if the rooms were shared with females. I would expect that before a price is given that has stipulations, the agent makes certain those stipulations are met first. Then we asked for a price from out travel agent. She was able to beat the price, add airfare & taxi service from & to the airport for less money than UVC. We tried to get the price match & could not.
While my kids were at the resort with there cousins, I called UVC & the resort & informed them that they had 2 owners staying on the property and asked that they be treated as such and have something special for them. NOTHING was done. ALL six men complained about the food.
My husband & I are extremely upset & disappointed. As it stands, everything that we were told when we purchased this vacation Club has been a lie. When we joined the club, we were guests at Secrets Capri. We had booked the vacation through BOOK VIP & paid $700 for the 2 of us for a 6 day vacation. We were told that we would always pay less than that. That was not true. We returned a year later for out anniversary and had a horrible experience. WE were not treated as Club Owners and were not given any member benefits and did not relax at all while there due to construction outside of our window and a broken elevator. At no time were we asked if we would like to move. This experience has been very upsetting.
deals obtained are nothing like those promised. and not "exclusive" = at term used in contract
Like many others, we believed the promised of great vacation deals based on the purchasing power of what seemed like a large corporations. Do not want to ditto all the other comments here. We listed to the same sales b.s..
But I purchased 3 domain names and soon will be launching a website for disgruntled purchasers to join forces. We can write attorney generals, FTC, other authorities in the US and Mexico. Often an agency will litigate on behalf of a host of defrauded individuals.
BBB rating is already "F" for UVC based on over 200 similar complaints to date. AMResorts is rated a D- based on being non-responsive to individual complaints or the BBB.
Once I create standard forms for you to fill in the blank, I will post the processes I went thru and you can use my standard form letters to fill in your circumstantial information. Happy litigating !

vacation club scam!
On July 10, 2019 my husband & I attended an Unlimited Vacation Club presentation with Ana at Now Larimar. We have no intention to become members. After the presentation a quality assurance manager named Karla met with us. She offered us 5 bonus weeks of vacation with their partner company RCI at $249.00 per trip and one free week at an AM Resort in the presidential suite. She even said we could invite 6 other people & book three extra rooms at no extra charge. This was the offer that made us join UVC. Initially, I thought this offer was too good to be true, so I repeated this several times & she assured me this was correct. She offered all of this at $4700.00 with a $1, 355.00 deposit. While we were going through the contract with Carlos, I mentioned the deal, again. I said I just want clarification, "We can invite six guest & book three extra rooms at no extra charge?" He confirmed this, as well. I asked him if we could do the same thing with RCI. He said no but if we wanted to invite several people we could book a villa instead of a hotel. We were pleased with his answer.
A few days later I tried to book a vacation for next summer at Secrets Cabo San Lucas using our "free week." They told us we did not have a free week and the room would cost $9, 000.00! I was in absolute shock. I asked them about the 6 guests/three rooms offer. They said we could invite guests, but they would have to pay for their rooms. I called the resort immediately to figure out what was going on, but no one would let me speak with Ana or Karla.
This was where the nightmare began. After repetitively calling and emailing the quality assurance manager, Julian Pat Ricalde, he reached out to me and said we could have a "VIP" week for $1, 600... we didn't even pay $1, 600 to stay there when we weren't members. When I told him I wanted to cancel my membership he said he would cost $2, 5000!
These people are criminals & liars. I read hundreds of reviews with the exact same scam story. There is even a former employee on this complaint board saying she quit because they were telling their staff to "sell air." I immediately put in a dispute with my insurance company and are hoping they side with me.
I am also filing a complain with the Consumer Financial Bureau and one with the resort, as well. The staff specifically told me me had to make a decision at the presentation. They said this because if anyone had a chance to research their company they would run! This company also has an F with the BBB. Do NOT believe anything they say!

My contract was signed under duress on May 8, 2019. Their contract says May 7, 2019. They are fraudulent in multiple ways including but not limited to their sales tactics. They had a gentleman come to us with a tablet not much bigger than a phone to review the contract. They did not review, read, explain any part of said contract, but only asked you to initial here and there. My fiance and I had just gotten engaged (which is why I know the contract is dated wrong.) and were elated and therefore not thinking clearly. We mistakenly thought this vacation club could work for us with our plans for a destination wedding. Subsequently, we booked our wedding. Or, so we thought. The resort took our money and ran. They never responded to emails, scheduled conference calls and inquires in general. We were told that we would get our money reimbursed, but have not received those funds back to date. UVC also claims to have resorts all over the Caribbean, however, they are very limited. To top it all off, we were promised two free vacations to Disney and to Costa Rica. We have received no information or acknowledgement in this regard. Every aspect of this contract, their sales and their resorts are fraudulent.
The only resolution for this horrific fraudulent experience is a full reimbursement of all funds paid to Unlimited Vacation Club, funds paid to Zoetry, as well as multiple foreign transaction fees (again we were not told about this).

Unethical behavior and misleading sales tactics (class action lawsuit)
I recently visited the secrets resort in puerto vallarta. While doing the time share presentation we had our reservations about joining uvc, but the sales associate showed us the benefits of rci and that we would be getting 4 free weeks at just the exchange fee of $249, plus 1 free week at zoetry (a top notch am resort) with our membership. We looked...

I signed on to UVC in Cancun Mexico because I was assured there were no annual fees. Basically you only pay if you book. I just got a call that if I paid $2000 my annual fees will be reduced from $299 to $49. I am totally confused and very angry. This is totally wrong, this bait and switch. Can I sue them? I am a very dissatisfied customer. The lady tried to get me to say I accept the charges, as it was on a recorded line.

RE: SAX000627
- 3/6/19 Vacation Club Purchased based on stating future nites would only be $87/nite but when I called, was over $300 for same resort that was promised to be ONLY $87.
- 3/16/19 Vacation Club cancelled over phone. Told "Someone would call me back to complete." No call! Phone bill with proof of call available.
- 3/17/19 Received email and I responded I cancelled. Again, proof I cancelled the day before but I am not in the scam business and did not know I had to have an actual letter of confirmation.
- 3/20/19 No response until 3/20 saying my account is active.
- Disputed credit card and lost because I don't have cancellation letter. Unlimted Vacation Club response to dispute, " Customer cancelled on 3/17/19 and needed to cancel on 3/16/19. I have this for proof as well and all emails. INCREDIBLE. I was scammed again.
- 7/16/19- I am being harassed for money and threatened court, legal action, and promises of credit ruin if I don't pay further monies ASAP!
I have asked and asked for corporate contact to assist in resolving this and have not been provided the information requested until today 7/16/19 but incomplete so I have to do more search. Haha. Just called the customer number I found for the "corporate address", 9450 Sunset Dr., Miami, FL 33173 and the CSR says no corporate officers even go to that building and that it is only customer service.
I want my $1180 back and harassment for further money collections to stop! I have been scammed and am continuously harassed by these people threatening bad credit and collections unless I pay them more $. I Not only HAVE not RECEIVED ANYTHING FOR the money they stole from me at the presentation, I had a horrible vacation on the resort that was clearly only 2 stars. It was not what I booked as BookVip changed the resort after I paid. Yup, said it was full and a comparable resort would be provided. NOT TRUE. HOLE IN THE WALL was substituted. In addition, I lost 1/2 day of my valuable vacation time with my dying son. (YUP 1/2 day, NOT 90 minutes) Then, I get back home to learn I have been scammed with false expectations then again when I cancelled and they did not call me back to complete the cancellation, which apparently was the last day!
I am appauld at this company taking advantage of Americans. It's not enough to scam someone out of $1, 180 and go your way but to continue to harass and threaten for more. The last email I received was hostile and said "This is the 4th notice and threatening credit issue without payment"... Unethical representatives.
I request:
1- Return of funds paid for false reporting and representation
2- Formal cancellation letter and apology
3- Removal of my information from all data bases and harassing emails to stop.
Please note, 2 other important bits of information.
1- I asked for written contract at presentation and was denied this where representative indicated it is “only electronic”. I did not receive the pdf contract until day of cancellation 3/16/2019 after I called and had to request it. My rights to review and exercise an option to cancel were withheld from me. Upon receiving contracts, I cancelled on 3/16/2019.
2- i was promised 87 a night for same resort presentation was at. I wanted to search rates while onsite and was denied this option. Again, representation indicated I had to wait 10 days until I received email with members logon.
The only reason I bought into buying this was for the discounted days but after receiving email, the price was NOT 87 and I’m fact the night pricing was nothing special and I found better deals online.
Again, I called in 3/16/2019 and canceled and was told someone would call me back but of course, no one did.
I am a realtor and do NOT lie to my clients and expected same honesty and believed the sales people as I believe most people are good.
I am so disgusted and am a victim of a scam by your company.
1- I want my money back or a
Vacation week for my son of his choosing.
2- a written apology
3- written letter of cancellation
4- harassing emails to stop please.
Thank you

UVC MEMBERSHIP # NN1-00406/ JOHNSON. This company is a total scam and their salespeople are committing fraud. We were promised we could use the membership at the Zoetry arrive resort. After I did the research I found out the government won't even let them build so this resort doesn't even exist. I have a print out from the company with this resort showing on the map an we were shown pictures during the meeting. They continued to feed us alcohol and lies until we agreed. The supervisor I have been trying to deal with is rude and basically said since we bought the smallest membership we don't matter. I want a full refund, all paid money back, and my membership cancelled.
I do not know what your message means and there is no contact info listed. Please return my money due to the lies we were promised.

BAIT and SWITCH! DO NOT PURCHASE. COMPLETE SCAMMERS! Consumer beware. Go to CONSUMER ADVOCATES to shut them down immediately.
Purchased in Costa Rica because it was beautiful. Went to Cancun and upgrade to 50% off. BUT contract said 25% off which was my original contract from Costa Rica. The salesman said it would be 50% off. The salesman said I can return it at 90% of the value. They said a lot of things. The only problem was that none of this was in the contract. NONE of it. It was a complete lie. They said one thing. The contract said another.
After paying an additional 26k on a contract, the value of added benefits was $3k. When I told them that no one would spend that kind of money for those added benefits, I explained that they must have made a mistake. Unfortunately it was my mistake. I didn't realize the 25% meant what I originally had. I thought it was a compounded percentage. I had 25% and I was getting another 25%. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. It meant I was paying 26k for absolutely no extra benefit.
I wanted to believe that they would be honest and do the right thing. BUT they will ABSOLUTELY NOT DO THE RIGHT THING.
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME. SAVE YOUR MONEY. DO NOT GO TO ANY UNLIMITED VACATION CLUB RESORT (Secrets, Breathless, Dreams, Zoetry, Now). For the amount of money that you pay for the all inclusive, you could take 20 vacations. So pay for the vacations as you go and do not believe the lies of their fraudulent sales schemes.

HI
I am from Illinois and would be very interested in supporting a class action lawsuit. I was sold a product/service under false pretense, I was told the "free week: was available for immediate use and would waive the black out dates in exchange for singing up with them. Long story short, I just got off the line with Fabiola Enriquez Fenriquez@unlimitedvc.com from the member quality assurance department and she indeed gloated about being protected by the laws of Panama for a company doing business in Mexico and owned by Hyatt which holds head quarters in Chicago. She referred me to her legal team as she claimed she didn't have a superior or manager above her. Arbitrationmanager@unlimitedvc.com. I was told to be released from the contract they would need 50% of the value of the contract to be released. So imagine if you fell for their 100k, 50k, 25k, package, then you would owe them 50% of those amounts. These people scam you into buying something that is not true and then charge you extra just to be released. When you call them out on their unethical practices and lies they get very defensive and threaten you with credit agencies going after you credit.
If any one does have an active lawsuit or in the works of creating one I would like to speak to you as this practice will continue until someone does anything about it. I do have her on recording specifically saying that they did offer the free week before but then took it away as people caught on to their games.

price match
June 17 2019, I called sunscape sabor in cozumel to learn about the uvc price match I was email the policy, I first got prices throught bookit.com I did a screen shot of the price and email to uvc, I read the policy carefully and followed the list of what they needed, the policy never said you could not bookit! I talk to two persons in uvc they told me to cancel the bookit.com and they could get me a better deal, I been trying for 5 days could not get threw bookit.com so today the june 22, 2019 I called uvc spoke to a manger ms. Altamiero I explain that I try first booking with sunscape but funjet does not have fight out of texas. She told me that they could not honor the price because we did not book thought them, I ask her were in the uvc policy dose it say do not book any were else just get the price? In reading your policy it does not say, I guess we have to read the company main. It is sad that every company has loops! The members are always wrong! I feel that your policy is not clear!

Wanted to reach out and say that my fiance and I have been really disappointed in UVC. I agree with the person above, the price match guarantee policy is not correct, nor does it make sense. We are getting married in Secrets Royal Punta Cana this year. And we had all our guests book through UVC because we were told again and again that we could get the rate cheaper.
Last night, my fiance found the cheaper rate on hotwire.com which is PART of expedia (a site that is approved by them.) She called UVC after finding the rate and was told that the website is not approved. So she asked for the sites that are approved and she was told websites that are similar to hotwire.com. When she asked the agent to send her an email with all the sites that were approved for price matching, he told her that she can find it on our member's page.
UVC is a scam. They are the #1 scam artists. They dont care about the members that buy from them. They just will say anything to get you to buy the membership- when my fiance and i bought this membership, UVC said alot of really nice things during the sales pitch. They even said they would give us vouchers to use for Zoetry so we can come back for our honeymoon- when we tried to use the voucher, they are saying we cannot use it on Zoetry. We can only use it on the other resorts. Not one things they told us has ended up being accurate. They dont care about making people happy. Now, we have a bunch of angry wedding guests because they booked through UVC at a very expensive rate and it's so much cheaper elsewhere.
Not to mention, each time you call the UVC number, you get some person that doesn't really care to help you or doesn't even know about the policies so they put you on hold for 5-10 minutes only to say that they can't help you. There are so many rules and regulations when it comes to the price match guarantee and the wedding packages promotions, yet, where is it on the website? They can never send the link to the website, they just send an email to you stating what they told you over the phone. We are so upset and hurt with how UVC has treated us.
Now, to make matters worse, their website is not working. So when I called to let them know, the lady was ARGUING with me. Saying she never heard of the website not working, and that I must be doing something wrong.
So upset... big disappointment.
vacation club sales
We attended the sales program for Unlimited Vacation Club at the Secrets Resort in Akumal. We were very clear that we have a Hilton Grand Vacation Club program and that we are still paying on that program. The "Manager" Brandon said it was no problem that the company will purcahse our HGVC membership. He implied we were getting a "great deal" because of being able to move us away from Hilton and to UVC. He said to wait 2 months for the paperwork from the company to purchase the HGVC program. We have called for Brandon who is now always on Vacation and we have received no paperwork. So we we purchased the UVC program based solely on the LIES told to us by the sales force on your property. I would like my 50% of the purchase to be returned and for my contract with UVC to be cancelled since it was based on boldface lies. The property was beautiful and it seems other UVC properties are also great. Your company shouldn't need to LIE to get business, why do you condone that?

To echo with many others, I would like to share my personal horrible experience with UVC.
In 2016, I stayed in the Secrets of the Vine resort in Cancun with my family. I was approached by the vacation club representative, who asked me if he can talk to me for 20-30 min about great services that they can offer. After 6 hours in the cold air- conditioned room ( I was in the swimming suite coming for 20-30 min chat) surrounded by 4 different men who were pressuring me to sign for the services, I was forced to sign an agreement. No time was given to me to discuss the offer with my family and I was not informed that there is a 3 days cancellation possibility. I was told that the package was customized to my unique needs and that I have one in a life time opportunity for the exceptional services and with unique rates if I pay for everything in full.. " Everything" was outlined on the peace of paper that magically disappeared when I Pad was brought to me for signatures. I was not given an opportunity to read everything carefully.
Upon my return to USA, almost every week I got a call or e mails from Vacation Club membership, with various ridiculous offers. Numerous time I asked not to bother me, because I am very busy ; I said that I will call when I need services_ no matter what I tried to do ( block caller ID, speak with supervisor )...my privacy was not respected.
Eventually I decided to take a trip to the Zoestry resort in Cancun using 7 free nights that I have in aggreemen . Twice when I was trying to book, I was told that there are no rooms available, and that I can only use 2 night for 1 ( something that was not explained to me). I was told that Secrets Playa Mujeres, is next to the best, and they have some rooms Available, but for 7 nights for 2 rooms I still cant use 7 free nights and need to purchase rooms . Only then I was explained that what unlimited club offer is : 25 % off hotel room rates...again this is something that was not explained to me when I was forced to sign for the services. Only then I also discovered that my package is just a basic and cheapest package . Also then I was told that headquarters of UVC are in Mexico.
I decided to go back to Cancun in 2017 to deal in person with the UVC team. Upon my arrival I was trying to make an appointment with the team who signed me for the membership ...they were literally avoiding me...upon numerous calls and request ….one of them, Carlos came to talk to me…. told me that he will get back to me next day when he will speak with manager. He disappeared from the resort for the length of my stay …., I was told that he had family emergency and will not come to work. …The others refused to talk to me and told me that decision regarding my contract can be only made my Miami headquarters ….Actually company is registered in Dominican Republic where neither USA or Mexico rules on customers protection apply.
Eventually, after my return to USA, mu case was assigned to the quality assurance person named
Eblyn González Hernández, who was in Mexico. She is the most rude, unprofessional and
condescending person I ever met. When no meaningful solution could be reached with her I asked to speak with manager. Also, when i asked to speak to someone in a higher position, she told me there is no one else. This is by far the most frustrating process i have ever experience when cancelling.
I did not used any of my "free nights " or services and have no plan to travel in near or far future to the Country where there is so much injustice, food poison ( I had each time I was there) and epidemics of Zika virus which possess risk for the males and females trying to conceive babies.
