I am moving to another country in a few weeks and have many items listed which potential buyers favourited. I decided to let them know that I will be moving and if they have any intention to purchase, they may want to do it sooner rather than later.
I wrote a message to send to people who favourited my items - no personal details (not even where I will be moving), no photos and mention of any other platform. In short, no breaking of any of their rules, just a logical communication to maximise the chance of some sales before I move and have to take the items down.
When I saw I am banned on chat, I assumed it's only for 24 hours, which was bad enough as I didn't break any rules. So I contacted support who didn't explain what I've done wrong, simply that I have been permanently banned and double down.
This is very upsetting and irrational on their part, why would they not support my trying to let my potential buyers know that items they liked may not be available for purchase in the near future?!
my account handle is @adriana872, I have trusted seller status.
Claimed loss: Inability to contact my potential buyers and negotiate price, answer questions etc.
Desired outcome: revoke the unfair ban on customer chat.
