On 21 Jan 2024, I received the email said the my Hermes bag was bought at HKD 113,110 (after commission is HKD 98,310)
On 22 Jan 2024, I shipped my bag to VC via DHL.0N 24 Jan 2024, my bag passed VC checking and complaint, and I also FOUND that they change the final sold price from HKD 113,110 to HKD 86,652,83. I instantly sent message to their customer service via the app, asking they send me back my bag and cancel the transaction if I dont get HKD 113,110 (after commission is HKD 98,310)'. I have requested to shipped my bag bag on 24/1 but no one reply me. And not even a local number I can call. On 25 Jan 2024, keep contacting VC customer service to stop the transaction but no one reply. On 26 Jan 2024, I received payment of HKD 75,387. I am so angry as no one explain to me what happened. On 27 Jan 2024, the customer service of VC, name ALLAN J (I think its just AI automatic reply, not real person), saying their expert willwrite me email explaining the case. On 29 Jan 2024, still no one contact me, I found VC CEO Fanny Moizant via Instagram and asked for her help. On 1/2/2024, finally one customer service, Charlyn contacted me, said he is from the France office. However, he didnt explain to me why I have received email confirmation on 21 Jan 2024 with price HKD 113,110, which last for 3 days. He insisted I accepted the offer of a buyer on 21 Jan, and the price s correct. He offered me voucher which I have to spend with VC to use. I don's accept their voucher, I need the true picture of what happened, and compensate for me the time and lost.
My grounds, First, I accepted the offer on 21 Jan 2024, but please check the time. I thought the buyer didn’t not check out during the offer period. Thus I thought another buyer buy my bag on the 21 Jan 2024, with the price HKD 113110, and thus I received email congratulated me on the item sold. This is the way I understand. As a user, as VC know, there is no way I can find out who check out my bag.
VC should know the email confirmation and the sold price appeared on your website was HKD 113110 , I have shipped the bag on 22/1 because I believe I sold at HKD 113,110. I have checked your terms and conditions also, I had make a counter offer on 21 Jan 2024, and the that buyer didn’t place the order within one hour.
Therefore, I thought another buyer buy my bag without any bargain or offer. And therefore, I received email congratulated me with price HKD 113,110/
VC did not explain to me why I received the first email confirmation on 21 Jan saying I sold at HKd 113000, but keep telling me that I have accepted the offer. If this is the case, I shou;d have received email instantly with the price HKD 85,873, NOT HKD 113,110. Why there is discrepancy? And why no one contact me and Inform me if there is so called IT bugs?
You blame me that I accepted the offer. You don’t admit there is some problem with your company.
I didn’t ask for a higher price, remember, that’s VC email confirmation telling me what I should get. And now I received less.
If VC told me there is system error, I would get my bag back immediately on that day on 24 Jan. But VC customer service no one reply me, and I am so hopeless, which until now, 1/2/2024, 8 days later, someone reply me.
I don’t accept their voucher, I am searching proper way in France and US to lodge complaint of VC
It is VC mistake obviously. 1) system error but secretly change without inform seller. I have the right to get inform because I receive less than the email confirmation. 2) customer service is really bad and slow. If there is someone reply me, I can stop the transaction and get my bag back. 3) I don’t need voucher, I lost trust to VC I will not buy anything from VC.
