Viagogo not advertising correct bookings fees. charging excessive fees without disclosing prior to purchasing.

Purchased tickets on-line as tickets advertised at a set price. Proceeded with sale without being made aware of excessive and exorbitant fees which equated to AUD$90.77 booking fee per ticket. The advertised fee for the ticket was 285.64. Not until the end of the transactions which proceeded with the entering of credit card details was I informed of this fee. This is misleading and deceptive conduct which has ensured that Viagogo had mislead me throughout the consumer transaction. We purchased tickets in good faith and this is not in accordance with Australian Consumer Law. We would like a refund.

Viagogo tickets purchased

Avoid ! My girlfriend and I are going to watch a Barcelona game and purposely spent extra money to make sure we got good seats and are seating together, before purchasing you also keep getting notifications reminding us that the seat are together, we have received the tickets now only to see that our seats are away from each other, so basically we have not been given what we paid for. To make things worse they have non existent customer care, I can't understand how they are allowed to even be open . It's a scam!

Viagogo being charged £4.98 each for our emailed tickets, plus 2 booking fees

10.10.2017 I decided against buying my gig tickets from your website because despite the tickets being cheaper, and despite opting for emailed tickets, you wanted to charge me £4.98 postage for each ticket (WTF!) AND a booking fee for each ticket (see previous bracketted comment). So two tickets which cost a little over £25 totalled £78. No thanks. This is what we music fans call a rip off. You lost our sale.

My desired resolution would be that if you want me and other savvy music fans to purchase gig tickets via your website - do not charge delivery for emailed tickets and booking fees per ticket. We do not appreciate being ripped off and will go elsewhere. Our tickets cost of £62 from another website.

And when I replied to the Welcome to Viagogo email it bounced back as undeliverable - twice - and it was not a no reply email. This is also not great customer service.

Viagogo refund

My name is Anthony Ellis. Address 1 Annesley Road, New Moston, Manchester, M40 3PB. I purchased tickets on 27 Feb (£196.39) for Lady Gaga. My Viagogo account online doesnt show the concert in my orders for some reason.
The concert is for Tuesday next week however the concert has been cancelled and rescheduled for next year. I would like a refund back into my account for whats been taken. I am happy to supply you with a statement of moneys taken as it does list Viagogo on my online statement.
I have had no communication from Viagogo since the purchase also so for future purchases means i wouldnt use you ago. People i have spoken too have told me to expect tickets in 3 days before scheduled concert which isnt great customer services without confirmation.

Viagogo wrong date

Hi I've noticed the tickets I purchased for hipsway for Saturday the 16th of December actually says it's Friday the 15th. I work on a Friday and Saturday but off on a Sunday. That's why I chose the Saturday. I noticed there are tickets still available for the Saturday so is there any chance the dates can be changed. I don't want to waste money.. Thanks audra Baxter

3.10.2017 I bought 2 tickes - Prague, koncert Umberto Tozzi 28.11. 2017. I bought two tickets balkon centre. You send me 2 tickets balkon right. I wrote you, that you send me bad tickets. - I ordered a paid for balkon centre, no right. You answered me, that I ordered balkon right. I asked you if is possible change me my tickets for right tickes ( balkon centre), and if is possible show me my order. You answered me, that it is not possible. If I wanted respond you blocked me my account. Sorry, I orderd a paid you fo bakon centre, for better tickets, you sended me worse tickets a just now you refuse to solve it.

Viagogo tickets for ricky gervais hammersmith apollo

I ordered 2 tickets in March this year for my sons birthday for Ricky Gervais on 5th October 2017 . I paid a rediculous fee for these due to the administration fees ! Which took the price to £196 ! They were for Row F so I thought at least they are good seats . The e Mail said I would receive them no less than 3 days from the event . I was away on holiday a week before the event when I recieved an email saying you couldn't get these tickets and offered me Row V in the stalls . I didn't want to disappoint my son so I agreed to changing the seats . I then was asked to pick the tickets up from an address in soho . Absolutely rediculous ! We live 300 miles from London and my son was staying in Hammersmith near the theatre because it was handy . I asked for a refund as he didn't want the hassle of having to go into London after a very long drive. I was declined a refund so I could try and resell the tickets ! Obviously they didn't sell ! So I was so stressed and it ruined my holiday because I was trying to sort this fiasco out . My son decided to go and had to pick the tickets up from Soho which was less than convenient . To add insult to injury the tickets were near the back of the circle! I had paid for Row F initially ! Disgusting, this is misrepresentation and I my family and friends will never use your company again ! I deserve some compensation for all the stress this has caused not just a £27 voucher towards another gig booked through you. I am appalled ! Please reply with some explanation and some refunded money !

I purchased 3 tickets for JLO on the 07/10/2017 in Las Vegas which would of been her last night, unfortunately what has happened in Vegas she has had to reschedule until next year 2018! Now the problem is I live in Liverpool in the UK there is no chance I can afford to go again next year I have been saving for 3 years to go this year for my 30th I wanted this to be the trip of a lifetime with my mum and my sister and now we cant go to the concert, I have been in touch with your customer services this morning which was shocking they had advised I couldn't get a refund and I have to resell the tickets myself for next year? the fact is I heard about the news last night that JLO will not be performing so I immediately got on the phone this morning to reveal I have no rights? I have paid $711 for 3 tickets! this is a lot of money and now I am going to lose out because I have to pay charges etc on top and could have a chance of not selling them on your site? but what I found very strange that I never had received my tickets from the seller and I was told this morning that Viagogo had contacted the seller a few days ago saying to upload the tickets and they haven't? I have read so many BAD reviews on your account and I am not happy one bit! could you reply back to me please and issue me a full refund?

I finally got a refund! You have rights as the concert has NOT been rescheduled next year as that is her new tour so it is nothing to do with what's happened! I spoke to my credit card company as they said they would get me my refund back to what I was entitled to but I got my refund before I had to proceed with that! Do not back down I was on the phone 4/5 times a day demanding to speak to managers as I was getting nowhere! I spoke to a lovely colleague from Ticketmaster who told me Viagogo are in the wrong as the concert has been Cancelled! I sent emails with my screenshot email conversations with Ticketmaster! I hope you get your refund! Viagogo tried to get me to sell my tickets for NEXT YEAR! I mean come on you rip off merchants! Never ever again will I use this company! I have warned all my family and friends! Don't give up!

We had tickets for the 6th October and are having an issue. Have you had a refund/been able to re sell your tickets? Viagogo are being awful and just not responding to us.

Viagogo ed sheeran tickets

I went on your website in order to purchase tickets. At the end of the process I decided I was not willing to pay 515 pounds for tickets so I pressed cancel. I was then shown a list of options asking why I wanted to cancel I chose one and left the site. I then noticed that your company had deducted money from my account! I am contacting a solicitor, M.P and anyone else I can think of! I want my money back. This is disgusting.

Viagogo refund

Viagogo continuous refusal to provide a refund for several issues caused despite claim when purchasing ticket saying no later than 3 day's however they are now responding saying that they guarantee before event:
1. I initially purchased my tickets for a football game on September 12 via order ID [protected] with the following message quoted below claiming that I will receive my ticket no later than 3 days before the event. "Your tickets will be delivered via UPS (Standard) - Spain Domestic no later than 3 days before the event. We’ll notify you by e-mail as soon as your tickets have been shipped."

2. I immediately was aware that I will not be able to attend the event, I resisted my tickets on September 14 however Viagogo removed it from being resold on September 15 for no clear reason so I pursued with listing the ticket for sale on another website called star hub. I was eventually able to sell my tickets on another online platform which provided and till today above average service and respect to their clients. Over the course of 6 day's prior to the event I sent several emails and called Viagogo at least 4 times to get an understanding of how I can pick up my ticket without success.

3. Eventually I when I was able to get through to viagogo was told that my ticket will reach me via courier and NOT as an E-ticket, I was also told on the phone no later than 3 days.

4. Until 3 day's before the event I still did not receive my ticket and again everytime I call I was told my tickets would get couriered shortly and that I could not get it as an E-ticket.

5. On the 21st of September early afternoon, the second platform eventually canceled the sale of my ticket and I was charged a penalty fee of 50 Euro's.

6. I eventually received my ticket on September 21 telling me that my ticket has been changed to an e-ticket which is not what I was told on the phone, email or in the terms when I purchased the ticket and as a matter of fact it was advertised online that the ticket will be a hard copy which I can keep and viagogo was trying to promote it to be some sort of souvenir. Now viagogo did not keep to the terms and conditions of the following points below (in addition to the frustration caused by trying to get a clear or honest response):

- The tickets were delivered later than 3 days before the event

- The tickets were sent by e-ticket instead of hard copy and I purchased a hard copy not an e-ticket (I wouldn't have minded the e-ticket if they told me from the beginning and that would have solved a lot of problems)

- The lack of customer support to give true and accurate information

- Viagogo provided my contact details to the seller which I did not permit or authorize and is completely unacceptable

- The seller contacted me and told me that he will be delivering my ticket to me however never did

- The first time I called viagogo, I was told by the purchasing department that they could not handle my query and I will receive a call back from seller department who never called me back

- A loss of credit on my phone and time continuously following up on the ticket The above points are clearly not all however has caused me to loose time and money... in addition the ticket was not utilized.

How would you suggest I take this forward as overtime I email them they do not respond to any of my above issue's or queries and only respond with a sentence claiming "since you received the ticket in time for the event, you are not entitled a refund." even though the actual conditions were no later than 3 day's when I purchased the ticket so not sure why they are claiming something else now (leaving out all the other issues).

via Viagogo in july .The amount still haven’t been transferred and we haven’t received any confirmation email, without which we can't progress through the website or on the phone. Viagogo tommy emmanuel concert qpac brisbane on 3/10

Hi. My name is Hannah Collins-Woolcock and frankly, I am absolutely appalled at how scheming this website is. I recently purchased 2 admission tickets to the Tommy Emmanuel concert in Brisbane on 17/9 and ended up paying $309 for this. I was lead to believe these were the last remaining tickets and I could not purchase them elsewhere, when really I could have purchased 2 premium (the best) tickets for just $240. I am 16 and this is a large amount of money for me to squander. I am so disappointed and very upset at how manipulative and deceiving this website is. I wasted a LOT of money on these tickets and this has now caused me to begrudge the concert that I really should be looking forward to. I would greatly appreciate a refund of some sort as I am extremely upset at how easily this website ripped me off. I do not believe there was full disclosure in the booking process. I was lead to believe that this was the only way that I could attend this concert, and that these were the last tickets remaining. Now my tickets are in the name of a suspicious sounding "Lady Elena Mamonova, " whom I have never heard of. I had no idea I was purchasing somebody's resold tickets and the website did not disclose this to me. On the tickets, the price clearly states '$79.90, " which is not what I paid and is now a painful reminder of the money that this website robbed me of. I have no confidence that these tickets are legitimate.

Viagogo tickets sent to wrong email address

Hi I brought 4 tickets for Jack Johnson on the 22/09/17 Kings Park Perth WA
$680.47 deducted from our account. Concert on the 6th December 2017
Viagogo had deactivated my account? I have emailed viagogo on a number of ocassions regarding this matter.
So can you please either reimburse amount or email tickets too [protected]@iinet.net.au

Viagogo ticket pricing/fraud

I bought 4 tickets for the NFL next month when they first became available in January 2017. I bought them for £566. It seemed very expensive but this was a present for my 14 year old son We received the tickets today worth £240. This is a disgrace and blatantly a complete rip off. I hope that consumer rights and others begin to pay attention to how fraudulent this is. I will never use viagogo again and will make it a mission to persuade others to use ticketmaster or other companies.

I had tickets too, Miami Dolphins v Saints at Wembley! For x3 tickets I paid 718 euros a highly inflated price but at the last minute they said the shipper cannot provide these tickets and offered me tickets in inferior seating with a 160 Euro refund. I totally feel ripped off. I have to tell you that viagogo is a sister company of ticketmaster the only other seller for uk. But yes use ticketmaster not viagogo. Try complaining to your MP if enough of us do it hopefully we can see a review of the whole ticket selling process!

Viagogo tickets

Hi,

I bought tickets through Viagogo over a year ago for the NFL match at Wembley this coming Sunday 1st October.

The tickets have cost me over £570 for 4 and I ensure I bought them early to avoid the rush. I thought Viagogo was a competent and professional company at the time.

My view of them has drastically changed in the past few weeks.

Since my original purchase last year I have moved house and I inadvertenly did not update the address on the Viagogo website in the interim period. I have only ever used this site the once and I expected to have an email confirming when the tickets are going to be sent and the address plus my personal details beforehand.

Viagogo did not do this and sent the tickets to my old address and only informed me via email on the day sent via the courier company.

I saw the email and contacted Viagogo and they said I could not speak to a person on the matter until 72 hours before the event. This email and delivery was sent two weeks ago...

I have in the subsequent period emailed Viagogo 5 times and tried speaking to a person to have this resolved. Eventually I spoke to a person and they were extremely rude and said ' we are a third party agency and cannot re-issue tickets' plus 'it is your fault for not updating the address details' and 'there is nothing we can do about your tickets'.

I asked if I could speak with the people who issued the tickets to arrange re-issue and to confirm who I am. my payment details, my I.D etc.

Viagogo said there is nothing I can do and if I turned up at the event there is nothing they could do to help me.

This situation is ridiculous as tickets can be re-issued and confirmed for any other company for events if they go astray or are lost. How can I get my tickets and ensure I go to the event I have paid a huge sum of money for.

Viagogo have no interest in trying to help resolve the situation and stated 'we do not have any liability and it is your fault for not updating your address'.

They do not even want to give me details on how I could resolve this issue and it is the worst customer service I have seen.

I will never use Viagogo again in any form.

Viagogo misleading and overpriced tickets

On 8/8/21017 I purchased 2 x tickets to see the band Wolf Alice at London's Alexandra Palace. During the order process I was lead to believe that these were some of the last remaining tickets to this event. I paid a total of £102.17. I now see that I could have purchased these tickets from See for a total of £50.90 inclusive of all fees. I am shocked by this poor business practice - blatantly misleading and overcharging a consumer in this way. I feel passionately about business ethics and consumer protection, so unless this is made right by Viagogo I will be filing complaints with your industry associations (ASTA, STAR) and also the UK Office of Fair Trading. I honestly cannot believe how a company in modern times could operate with such a dishonest business strategy. I left feedback at the end of the sale process and stated that I felt I had overpaid. It turns out the truth was just that, but to a very large extent. Very disappointed.

Viagogo ticket sales that I cannot use

Hi there

Re: ID [protected] - Ed Sheeran concert

I have emailed you already a couple of times as I purchased tickets from your site to watch Ed Sheeran next year but have now been told that these will not be valid!

I believe I was sold these tickets unfairly - your terms state "If a problem arises, Viagogo will step in to provide comparable replacement tickets or a refund". I have not received either of these and unless I hear from you within the next 14 days will be contacting Trading Standards as I believe that I have been sold tickets by being misled.

I now have a disappointed 13 year old who was looking forward to attending this as a birthday gift but now isn't able to attend!

Please get back to me asap.

Viagogo ticket prices

I purchase 2 Ed Shereen tickets for AED 2792 order no. [protected] dated 15th July 2017 and now i find that the same tickets are being sold at AED 1408. Screen shots are attached. I wish to have refund for the balance money as you cannot cheat a client by changing prices for the same show and on the same website.

Viagogo concert tickets for "putting on the ritz" qpac brisbane

Purchased 2 X $81.90 for "Putting on the Ritz" Qpac Brisbane
Master card statement shows $330.81 deducted by the company, that arrived on the 25th/11/2017.
All records show a foreign amount only received after purchase via email
The amount of cost and total sum difference is appropriate $167 more expensive.
I beloved the company to be Australian based.
I believe we have been well over charged and will send to ACCC and the ombudsman for further help if I do not get this resolved.
