roland garros tickets
I had 2 extra tickets for French Open at Roland Garros as my daughter couldn't come to Paris. Put those tickets on sale using Viagogo. One ticket was sold in a matter of minutes and second one in a few hours. There were 2 same tickets bought from French Open official site. I have received an email that everything is fine and I will receive my money in 8 business day. Next day (1 day before the event) I received an email saying that second ticket was not valid and I am not going to receive any money for that and on the top of that because customer suffered damages they are going to fine me with $500 in order to compensate the customer. On the premises of Roland Garros I checked with official ticket service and was told that both of my tickets were used for the given event.
This company is really stealing money from both buyers and sellers. It is pure crime in action and it is going unpunished. Google, I guess, receiving money from them to advertise these scammers.
ticket to chelsea flower show
On 21st april 2019 I planned a holiday to uk from australia.
I looked forward to going to chelsea flower show as part of my "grand tour."
After typing in tickets for chelsea flower show the viagogo website appeared at the top of google search, apparently the main ticket sellers.
I ordered a ticket (a souvenir paper ticket to be forwarded to my home address in ample time before the event via royal mail)
I paid the very large amount of 167 pounds - $au300
No ticket arrived 10 days before I due to leave for trip.
I went online and changed address to the z hotel victoria, still giving ample time for paper ticket to arrive.
I did not receive ticket
Viagogo has breached consumer protection laws by:
1. Appearing to be the main ticket seller, according to rhs "i'm afraid viagogo is not an uthroised vendor of our tickets and tickets purchased on this site are not valid for entry to our shows."
2. Rhs do not ever issue paper tickets.
Bbc 1s "watchdog" claims the business model promoted by viagogo looks to be more about profiteering at the audiences' expense - persistently masquerading as an "official site" in its online advertising, employing high-pressure sales techniques and potentially breaching consumer law."
I believed I was purchasing directly from rhs.
The ticket you promised me breaches your own viagogo guaranteee under section 2.15
I request (again) a full refund. As it my right, and due.
roland garros
I've bought 2 tickets for Roland Gaross for the Men's semifinal for 07th of June 2019 through viagogo. I've payed for them 675 eur and I've been overcharged in total with 415 Eur. On the tickets they wrote 130 eur each. Where is the fiscal control? They aren't verified when they sell tickets with other prices? I've lately found out that this site resells the tickets! On the ticket it appears a name of a buyer...and after that it appears my name as a holder! In addition, they wrote wrong our names on the tickets.! We received the tickets 2 days before the match after we've made a complain through their form.
I am very disappointed because nobody tried to close this site! They don't sell tickets...they just speculate the market on the customer's money.
All I hope is to enter the court...I feel very angry about this situation...
I am kindly asking you what to do to recover my money. Is there any chance?
I haven't received the payment from the ticket that I resell
I bought a two tickets from the website for the BTS concert last May5, 2019. but i resell the ticket coz i can no longer use it. I resell the said ticket in the same site where i bought it which is the viagogo website and the tickets were sold. After the concert viagogo sent me an email that they already started the payment transfer in my bank account, and they sent me an email again last May 10, 2019 stating "viagogo payment 2776749- You have just been paid" but upon checking my account the said payment hasn't been send into my account. i want an email regarding this matter ASAP! i want to know how can i get my money. thanks
eagles tickets order 18343661
I would like to complain about the fact that we have been charged £281.17 for seats that are only worth £70/£78.25 each i.e £140/156.50. This means a charge of £124.67 into their pockets. We 'purchased' these tickets in Jan/Feb and were given the impression that they were worth a lot more. Viagogo bought these on 10th May 2019 so we can only conclude that this is the usual way they operate which is very unethical and unfair.
When originally purchasing we were led to believe the tickets were worth more. Also there was the constant pressure of pop ups advising limited time to buy. There must be something that can be done to stop this company conning people in this way. Of course we cannot get hold of viagogo direct to complain. It has made what should be a nice time for my ill husband into a source of annoyance.
We await your kind comments.
metallica tickets
on The 19th of march 2019 i purchased 3x metallica tickets through Viagogo for there Brisbane, Australia concert that is scheduled for the 29th of october, my booking confirmation ID is ID [protected]. The tickets that were displayed when i was purchasing were for in the "Golden circle" which was up the front of the standing section the tickets i have recieved in the mail are for the general admission standing area.I paid $1228.89 AUS for these tickets that have a $191.69 price tag for a combined total of $575.07, more than a 100% mark up. These are not the tickets i paid for and i am furious that i have been charged through the roof for GA, Please either source me the tickets i paid for or compensate me fairly for the error on your end. I will be taking this up with the fair trade ombudsman if i do not get a satisfactory result with Viagogo.
concert tickets purchased
I wanted to purchase 2 tickets for the Westlife concert in Dubai. On searching, somehow Viagogo came up on top. I gathered that Viagogo was the primary seller of the Westlife concert tickets. I selected the tickets that were available as the website showed that most of the seating tickets were sold out. Thereafter, the credit card information was sought which I provided. The total amount that got reflected was almost Euro 100 more than the amount I expected due to courier charges and service charges. There was a button prompting me to talk to a representative if I had any questions. I clicked on that button to understand the nature of the additional charges and the sale got executed.
I dont see why courier charges have to be applied for each ticket when they are being dispatched to the same location.
I immediately called Viagogo and they mentioned that the sale cannot be reversed and under no circumstances will the amount be refunded.
I will never touch Viagogo with a barge pole in future and would like to warn the rest of the world that you could also get easily conned. Please beware.
overcharged ticket prices.
My Name Is Sandra
I purchased 3 Tickets to Post Malone through Viagogo on the 8/4/19, tickets costing 208.70 ea. AUD
I was charged a total $1339.11 AUD, I have questioned Viagogo and have not had a response. When got the invoice its was in Chinese and says
price per ticket TWD6840.00
Total tickets TWD20520.00
Booking FEE TWD5905.00
Handling Fee TWD206.00
VAT:TWD311.00
Total Charge 27242.00
at the top of my tickets on the left hand side it stated they are from Ticketek and on the right top corner it says Chai Hui Hsu.
On top of this I do not know weather my tickets are valid until the day.
scam/ripoff/coercion
My favourite band is playing in July. All I wanted for my birthday was to see them.
However, it appeared that the tickets were selling fast as soon as I found out they were playing so I was in a panic.
I simply googled the tickets and the first site selling tickets that popped up was viagogo. The site said that there were only two tickets left so this added to the panic. I ordered them as fast as possible. However, because I was so stressed about missing out, I seemed to overlook the following red flags:
1. I didn't receive the e-tickets in the confirmation email.
2. I paid 3x as much as the tickets were listed elsewhere.
3. I was manipulated into buying these tickets as I was falsely lead to believe that there were only two left. I contacted the host of the event and was told this was definitely not the case.
The tickets ordered were 2x tickets were for The Midnight playing at the Corner Hotel in Melbourne AUS. Order ID: [protected]
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am very upset by this and feel very foolish. At least I've learned an important lesson.
Thank you,
Lexie

roberto carlos ticket price purchase 29/05/2019
Dear Sir/Madam,
The event has more than a month to go as it is on the 29th of May 2019. Plenty of time.
Just make your point that you can't sell a ticket that show £100.00 in the ticket and you charged £377.00!
How absurd it is! How can you comply with this type of transaction? Your company has the duty of care to show the value of the ticket and how much your seller is selling. You can't hide this information from your customer. How can you sell a ticket that cost £100 to £377?
Is it a common sense of business respect.
I am surprise how a company like yours are still open in the market.
Peharps none took you to court as I am going to make justice of this case.
I really hope to get my money back because I will not take this rip-off for granted.
Your company should protect your customer from what they are buying and not to comply with this greedy absurd commission in this omission of your position.
Your seller MUST say how much he paid for the ticket printed in the ticket and how much he want to charge.
NONE can charge a price of a ticket with a stamp of another price in the ticket?!
unlawful and disgraceful this greediness.
I am waiting for this money to come back to my account before I open a case against your services.
Thank you,
Erika Tansiri
ub40 tickets not received.
In March this year I purchased 2 tickets to see UB40. Tickets were 'selling out fast' so I acted kind of hastily in purchasing them, by logging in via Facebook. I gave them my phone number, as requested. Money taken out of my account immediately. They called me to confirm my email address. I explained that I was no longer using anAOL email and that it could not be retrieved. I gave them eymail address attached to my phone. They have been in touch with me at the gmail address. Countless phone calls made explaining the situation to see UB40 tonight, in London. Yesterday Mr Helpful told me to stay by phone all day today and he would be giving the seller my details. When Vianogo have sent me a link to my gmail account to change my password and confirm - it FAILS, thus rendering me unable to clear their security checks. So, it looks like I'm 160 quid out of pocket and I won't be enjoying myself tonight. Despite repeated emails and phone calls, they have failed to respond, even hanging the phone up on me today.
Reference: [protected] - confirmed payment.
How are they allowed to get away with this?
ticket hasn't been refunded after re-listing
on 2/6/2018 I have requested re-listing of my ticket of the Eminem concert in Holland for sale. I have gotten an email from the company with all the directions and new pricing. After doing everything according to the email I wasn't reimbursed. The ticket cost 100 euro and the company didn't even bother to reply on my question about the refund. I still haven't got even a cent back.
Even thecomment page Sucks.
This is a terrible experience can't correcte-mail info therefor no accessto list forresale3 tickeys RIpOFF!, phone is blocked/useless won't be back! will probably lose 500+dollars as a result This SUCKS.
ticket prices and not reselling - they take your money and then purchase tickets
I ordered tickets for the Chicago Musical in Cape Town, reference order [protected]. I selected the Country as South Africa and the currency as South Africa.
I requested 5 tickets. Viagogo claims they resell tickets. They don't - they use the name MS. Eva Long to purchase tickets from Computicket after they collected your money in EURO and not RAND.
The value of the Tickets are R 320 / ticket which adds to R 1600 and they deducted R6886 - More that R5000 for the value of the tickets.
I contacted them and said they made a mistake when collecting the moeny, they said no - I made a mistake as the tickets were in EURO.

Subject: Fraudulent transaction - VIAGOGO
Good day Mr Eric,
I don't know if you know but your company is used for fraudulent transactions and scams.
Please see emails below and the attached documentation with my proof of payment on the 30/03/2019 and the purchase only on the 31/03/2019. I have contacted Computicket and they confirmed the ticket was only purchased on 31/03/2019 after midnight as seen on the ticket.
I selected rand and the purchase was made in EURO! The people said the ticket was for a "reseller" but was only bought on the day after they took the money from my account. What should have been at least R 1600 is now R 6886 - more than R 5000 difference.
Should you have any queries, please contact me.
Regards,
Marinda Laubscher

This is another email I send regarding the Court order to sort out their business:
A court has ordered ticket reseller Viagogo to "overhaul" the way it does business.
The Competition and Markets Authority launched legal action against the company in August over concerns it was breaking consumer protection law.
The court said Viagogo must tell buyers which seat they will get and if there is a risk that they will be turned away at the door.
In a Twitter post, Viagogo described it as a "groundbreaking settlement".
In a statement, CMA chief executive Andrea Coscelli said the court order was a "victory for anyone who decides to buy a ticket through Viagogo".
The court order means Viagogo will have to: My feedback on the court order in brackets ()
Tell ticket buyers if there is a risk they will be turned away at the door - (no information supplied)
Inform customers which seat they will get - (seat was only allocated the day after the funds were taken from my account. According to VIAGOGO it was a reseller - the tickets were only bought the day after my order… I selected RAND - the funds were taken in EURO!)
Inform buyers who is selling the ticket - (no seller as the tickets were only bought on the day after my funds were transferred from my account)
Make it easy for people to get their money back when things go wrong - (so many excuses and saying I didn't read and I didn't check - there was nothing to check as the tickets were only bought the next day.)
Prevent the sale of tickets a seller does not own and may not be able to supply - (VIAGOGO lied, they didn't had tickets to sell when I "ordered")
Not give misleading information about the availability and popularity of tickets - (last 5 tickets together now available! - they lied as they didn't know, tickets was bought the next day.)
I have also logged it as a complaint with the Action Fraud Team in the UK: RE:NFRC190402899519
These guys are scammers - a guy phoned me my cellphone (+[protected]) and said there is nothing I can do, they paid the seller. If you contact the number it does not exist. The other number they gave me + 44 (0)20 3137 6080, also doesn't work.
Feedback from viagogo:
viagogo
Dear Marinda,
Thank you for contacting us.
As explained before, on the viagogo website, you can choose to view the ticket prices in several different currencies. However, when you proceed with purchasing tickets, this will always be processed in the currency which the seller has listed the tickets in. This is why your order [protected] has been processed in Euro.
Note, if the seller has listed in a different currency than the one you have chosen, you will see a note in the purchase process giving the "Estimated Total Price" in your preferred currency (as at that day's Exchange Rates).
Euro
Kind regards,
Kasende
I attach herewith proof of the tickets bought after the money was taken from my account. They lie and steal from innocent people.
I contacted Computicket in South Africa [protected]) and they have numerous ticket listings for Ms. Eva Long. - More people are scammed by this business.
deceptive platform for ticket tout
I was mislead to purchase two concert tickets at $423.19. When I received the tickets I found the tickets were not under my name. I realized I was cheated by viagogo as I thought I bought genuine tickets under my name. The face value is $112 x 2. I asked for refund but viagogo rejected. I asked for original ticket owner's identification and authorization letter of using these tickets. Viagogo also rejected with the reason of protecting privacy. I told viagogo they are protecting the privacy of ticket tout, not the privacy of genuine fans and customers. If viagogo cannot provide the identification and authorization letter, these tickets to me are just fake and forged ones. I have rights to ask for full refund.
paid for tickets but e-tickets not sent
I purchased tickets from viagogo on 4th April 2019 for Celtic Illusions showing in Cairns 13th April 2019 for $630.00 on my confirmation form [protected] but was charged $650.58 on my credit card. I was told I would be emailed a link to download my e-tickets with the bar code I never received the link hence no tickets. I rang the theatre they told me I would be denied entry without the correct e- tickets. I have emailed viagogo with no reply and have tried several phone numbers which just ring out.
I would like a full refund
new order
Dear sir / madam,
I am writing to you to both complain and request data you hold about me related to an issue about: ticket resales
The booking reference was: [protected]
The issue that I have experienced was: I have received my tickets and to my amazement the value of the tickets are £49.90 each. I ordered two tickets so the total amount should have been £99. Please can someone explain to me why I have been charged a total of £462.36. This is total rip off. I would have never paid this amount if I had know that the value of the tickets could only cost £49.50. What was the amount £363.36 for?
I am shocked that a company would do this!
Please could I have a full explanation in to how/why I have been charged this amount.
The affect on me was: I am outraged...
The problem occurred on: 29/03/2019
I would like you to: I would like an apology and a refund
I would also remind you that I would like you to provide me with data related to this issue including related communications and transactions between myself and your company.
I look forward to your prompt response on this matter. I would like to keep a complete record of my case, so please reply back via this email account.
Yours faithfully,

online ticket sales
Hi,
I am writing to you with a concern I have regarding a foreign company online called "Viagogo" that operates from your country. I live in Cairns Australia and had never heard of Viagogo til last week when I decided to go online and try and purchase State of origin tickets. I google search "state of origin" and "Brisbane" and the first website that comes up is Viagogo. I assumed they have unsurped Ticketek here for distribution rights and are legitimate so I enter the site looking for tickets.
It becomes clear (very early on ) from the warning messages flashing up that there are less than 4% of tickets left. I manage to find the last 5 gold section tickets that can be seated together for $224 per ticket although it is not clear where the seats are at Suncorp stadium. As the 10min counter counts down and the and the warnings flash up that other people are waiting in a virtual queue to buy the tickets they are holding for me temporarily it becomes clear that I need to proceed with haste if I am to complete the booking.
I proceed via via credit card with 1min to spare but just as the transaction is processed I notice the final price has jumped to a total of $1480 (so $296/ticket!). I am confused until I realise there is a hidden Viagogo handling charge of >25%!
It gets worse though as I then do a further google search of Viagogo reviews which reveal the company is a just secondary platform for ticket scalpers that preys on people's fear of missing out in entertainment tickets. The Internet is littered with stories of decent people being scammed by this company. Sometimes the tickets are not just overpriced (illegally so) but also are just one of multiple copies sent out... or are counterfeit! There are allegations online also that the company may buy tickets on mass itself and passes them off as if they were from a secondary seller for a huge mark up.
I write to Viagogo who deny me quoting that they have a no refund/recourse policy except to allow you to relist your tickets for sale through them for a price so you can repeat the process with the next poor customer! They inform me initially my tickets won't be sent out Mid May online as e-tickets and that they can't tell me the seat numbers or location.
After several exchanges (often auto-responses) airing my grievances Viagogo send out the e-tickets (ticketek originally) which are not in my name and indicate they originally cost $165 each!
My bank indicates to me (after I report being scammed) that I will have to fly to Brisbane and probably be rejected entry at Suncorp stadium before they will refund in the basis of fraud. By then I will have wasted money in airfares and accomodation as well as my time and that of my friend who I wanted to take to the game!
I have since joined "Victims of Viagogo" on Facebook and I am working on recovering the money. I have pointed out to Viagogo that their original price of $224/ticket is illegal on the basis of Queensland's anti-scalping laws not allowing resale of tickets at a mark up of >10% but they are not budging on a refund.
Having taken in the number of people affected by Viagogo on social media and the scale of fraud this company has been responsible for I think it is high time the enforcement of laws occurs to protect the public against the practices of Viagogo.
They are flouting drip pricing and anti-scalping laws and show no sign of altering their behaviour in the future. I have written to the ACCC, ACORN (via the Qld police) and will again contact my bank tomorrow about the matter. Italy managed to fine Viagogo 1million euros last year for it's illegal conduct so it is time this company and those similar were held to account in Australia.
For your part I would ask help draw your colleagues attention to this problem as current laws and enforcement are not stopping Viagogo. This company has devastated thousands of decent people trying to book tickets to see entertainment in Australia and elsewhere.
Kind Regards
Dr Stuart Luckie

wailers 02 concert bristol
Good Morning
Thank you for receipt of my 2 concert tickets .
I have to say that I am extremely saddened and disappointed with my findings .
The 2 tickets purchased from you was intended for my wedding anniversary present to my wife .
I had saved for over 9 months to be able to buy these tickets .
I have today found out that the venue O2 in Bristol where the concert is held is selling the tickets for £25 each .
I am appalled to see that after buying these tickets over 3 months ago I was charged over 3 times by your company .
May I please remind you that I am a council tenant and on ESA benefits .
That means due to long term illness I have not been able to work for the past 2 years and until I am signed off from my medications .
It has been a real struggle for me to get these tickets and I wish to be refunded all my monies back to me .
I feel that choosing your site I was trusted to get the best price for my tickets but been let down .
Please reimburse my money or I will have no alternative to contact the citizens advice bureau and the watch dog program to complain .
I hope you fully understand my situation and await your prompt reply .
Yours sincerely
M.Hemmati

them as big scammers and theives. I just want
a refund for my purchase. They are refusing to do so! Viagogo are under investigation as we speak for being scammers as reviews stated that the tickets sold were fake!

2 tickets to see joan baez on 26 feb 2019
On 11 May 2018, I paid for 2tickets @ £43 each = £86 + £10 delivery fee plus a vat and booking fee amounting to £30 making this a total of £126 howrver Viagogo charge my credit card £125.43 a difference of 57 pence. I received the tickets today 20th February 2019 and the tickets have a face value of £30 each = £60 plus S/C of £4.70 each totally a cost of £34.70 each =£69.40. Therefore the difference between £125.43 less £69.40 is an overcharge of £56.03, this being the case please ensure the amount of £56.03 is repaid to Margaret Lindsay at 22 Riversdale Crescent, Edinburgh EH12 5QT Scotland. It is extremely concerning to discover this anomaly and look forward to recompence.
