Viagogo day tickets for reading festival

Dear sir or madam,

On the 2nd of may I purchased 2 day tickets for reading festival totalling £441:31p.
The amount has been taken from my HSBC bank account and I can prove This with a bank statement.
On the same night of purchase I tried to cancel the tickets as It became obvious I had massively over paid and realised I couldn't afford the amount after consideration of other bills.
I looked in to how I could get my money back
but couldn't find any record of them!
so I rang my bank to dispute the payment and hoped to stop the payment for the tickets leaving my account.
This however was unsuccessful as my bank told me that this was an authorised transaction as I'd payed by card and had to let the payment go through before any attempt can be made to refund the money.

Contacting viagogo is not easy when you have no receipt for purchased tickets! But as I explained earlier it clearly shows viagogo took the money on the 2nd of may!
I read that viagogo don't offer refunds and that they only offer to re- auction tickets,
but for this I would need tickets!.
Please advise as I'm getting very distressed by the thought of loosing my money! And I've now lost all confidence in buying tickets on line!

Regards: Nick Morgan [protected]

Viagogo ticket prices

I purchased 2 tickets for the Oct 9 Marian Hill concert in London which were indicated to be face value £11 each. Viagogo did not display a price hike when I purchased them, (to 49.69/ticket) nor did it indicate the substantial admin fees of over £20 that I would incur for my purchase. I was shocked to see only after checkout that I had spent £123 on what I thought was a £22 purchase. I have done some research on this scam and I see that this is not an uncommon Viagogo customer complaint, and also that Viagogo has in the past refunded customers after such outrageous and deceitful price hikes. I am writing to demand a full refund on these tickets. Please advise as to when I should expect a credit to my account.

Viagogo 4th day oval england v south africa

Very disappointed with your company. I bought 2 tickets for myself and my 6year old boy, he was very excited as it was his first ever test match.
I received an email notifying that there had been a problem fulliling the paid for tickets and Viagogo were going to offer similar tickets. I called you guys to confirm as the tickets you offered were the same! You said that your courier had lost the tickets in transet (suspicious). You then offered my tickets which were cheaper so I declined. You then sent me another email saying the previous email was mistake and offered me the original tickets, but instead of having to pick them up I you were going to email me a downloadable Eticket, ideal I thought, now I don't have to collect. The email was supposed to be arriving in my inbox in the next few hours (a day before the event) which it didn't! I then called you guys to follow up, I was put on hold for 20 minutes before your customer service lady (Esosa) told me that you have now sold my tickets and they are no longer available, you could not provide a similar ticket and I would receive a refund! Of course I was left feeling let down not to mention my little boy. I will never use your services again and will ensure I express my opinon to as many friends and family as possible. I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears and only really notifying to make myself feel bette and in the hope you need up your game.

Viagogo concert tickets las vegas sat 15th july 2017

I was on a business trip in Las Vegas last weekend and purchased one ticket for Bruno Mars at the T Mobile arena on Sat 15th July. I purchased this ticket around 20.45 Las Vegas time, just about as Bruno Mars was due to go on.

I received confirmation of the purchase within 5 mins, therefore took this to the box office, however they said i required a downloadable ticket. The Supervisor of the ticket office can confirm this Ms Danielle Meshkoff email [protected]@TMobileArena.com Tel: [protected].

I found this very frustrating as i paid over £400 for one ticket and was missing the concert. I had left the arena after half hour as i couldn't get in. Then i checked my phone again 20 mins later or so and the email appeared with the ticket, it took me about 15 mins to get back to the arena, therefore by this time 10pm US time. I tried to download the ticket which didn't work for about 10 mins, so after all that i entered the show around 22.15, then it finished at 22.55.

So to pay £400 for a ticket to watch 40 mins of a show, i think is unacceptable as it was through no fault of my own as the ticket was sent far too late.

I called Viagogo and they offered me no sort of refund as they said i had downloaded the ticket even though it was after 10pm, my issue was that i was in Las Vegas and a one time chance to see a show like this, therefore i could have not downloaded it all then got back to England and they still offer me no refund which i am sure would have been the case.

Apparently there was a button to click to receive a downloadable ticket which i didnt see as i dont use this site hardly ever. The question i asked is why is there an option in that case to purchase a ticket within 5 mins of a show starting that is not instant?

I would appreciate your reply on this.

Kind regards

Will Lazar

Viagogo arcade fire tickets 3 arena unethical behaviour order id: [protected]

I have just purchased tickets for Arcade Fire's concert in 3 Arena Ireland Friday, 06 April 2018 18:30. When I was checking out, the information that you had provided me with was that I was purchasing tickets 2 × €111.83.

As it was not made clear that this in fact wasn't the grand total and was actually 2 tickets for €111.83, I went ahead and made the purchase. Only then when my money was TAKEN FROM MY ACCOUNT, did you present me with the actual grand total including vat was in fact €313.09
(£279.68).

This is extortionate rates considering ticketmaster.ie still have tickets for sale at face value. What has really upset me is that you didn't show me an actual reading of what I would be paying for. You completely deceived me by not providing me with full and accurate information before money was exchanged, I would not have made this payment as I actually cannot afford the total amount you took from me.

It is extremely unfair that you withheld the appropriate information from me about the actual total amount due until AFTER my payment had been taken I'm very upset and want to demand a full refund from your site. It's a very shady way for your company to carry out business and I will be letting all my family, friends and everybody on all my social media accounts to warn everyone not to EVER purchase from your site.

Viagogo tickets for cricket at trent bridge on sunday 16th july

Hi
I bought 2 tickets from you on line and it wasn't until after I purchased them that it told me they were Children's tickets.
I have emailed you this information before, along with screen shots as evidence that it didn't say they were children's tickets. More recently, the email with the attached screen shots have come back undelivered.
I am aware that this happened to a large number of people who bought tickets via your website, as my partner spoke to Trent Bridge about the issue and they confirmed this.
When we asked if we could upgrade, this was also declined by your company - hence, we were left with 2 x defunct tickets. Please can you confirm where I can send the screenshots to? Sarah Holdsworth

Viagogo unauthorized ticket purchased

Good afternoon

I would like to make a complaint regarding a ticket that I bought online for Secret Garden Party for £250, as I was refused entry on arrival.

I received emails a few days before the festival from SGP stating that I would be refused entry if my name was not on the ticket, I therefore emailed Viagogo immediately and told them that my name was not on the ticket, they then responded asking me to send over my name which is what I done on the Wednesday. I did not hear anything back from you, so on the Thursday, 1 day before I was leaving for SGP I called Viagogo again to confirm that you had received my email to then be told that I had emailed my name to the wrong email address and I could now no longer have my name changed, I replied to the same email asking them to change my name again and was not given any indication that I needed to reply using a different email address. I explained over the phone to a member of staff that I was worried about not getting into the festival, as I had received another email from SGP stating that they do not accept tickets from companies like yourselves and listed the name of your company and that I would be refused entry if my name was not on the ticket.

I was promised by Viagogo on the phone that this was not the case and that I would be allowed into the festival using the ticket I had bought. When I arrived to the festival and showed my ticket, I was refused entry and ended up on my own outside the festival alone for 1 hour, as all my friends had gone in and not realised there was an issue with my ticket, I therefore had to spend my time having to go back and forth on the phone to Viagogo whilst waiting outside the festival until eventually Viagogo got in contact with the original ticket seller who agreed that Viagogo could give over there information in order to allow me entry. I tried to avoid this situation happening before the festival had started by contacting Viagogo several times and I was assured that I would not end up in the situation that I was, but that of course was not the case and I ended up in the exact situation that I had tried to avoid. I also only knew that I had to change my name on the ticket because SGP emailed me to tell me, but I didn’t receive anything from you personally to warn me, which is very unprofessional

I therefore would like to know why you were selling tickets that were not allowed to be used at the festival, and if you were unable to change the name on the tickets then you should have taken the tickets off of the website, instead of continuing to sell them to scam money out of people when you knew fully well that they would be refused entry.

This completely ruined my Secret Garden Party experience and I think this is terrible service from yourselves, so I think I deserve a reasonable explanation for all of the trouble you have caused me, or I will be writing about your poor services on your website and social media to warn potential ticket buyers.

Viagogo ed sheeran tickets - breach of contract

On 8th July, requested 4 x ed sheeran tickets, accepted what I thought was £350 total ( as that was the face value on release of tickets) . Input my debit card details, however when final amount appeared of £1, 893, I clicked that I didn't want to go ahead with the purchase as it was way more than I expected. A few minutes later a confirmation came through and I contacted you immediately to explain that I had not wanted to go through with the purchase. Subsequently, a payment of £1, 893 left my account on 10th July. I have contacted you a number of times to say I did not want to go ahead with the purchase only to be told that you don't offer cancellations or refunds.
I have a number of issues here:

1) I have been unintentionally misled as the the price of the tickets .
2) I hax not been given full details of the contract ( i.e. the total amount) before agreeing to enter into it
3) your final page, as with any other purchases I have made on line, offered to 'complete the purchase' . When I said no, because the amount was too much, that should be evidence enough that I did not want to continue with the purchase..

I am expecting full refund and money back to my account in view of the above.

Regards
Sam Wemyss

My son is 16yrs old and a big fan of Ed Sherrin. He recently purchased 2 tickets, one for him and one for his girlfriend. After spending $540 on these tickets he was informed they're illegal and fake! I want his money returned immediately or will seek legal advice because you practically stole from a minor!

Viagogo tickets to killers bst in hyde park

Hi - I purchased tickets through your website for the killers order 9045102 paid £626.16. I then wanted resell the tickets as my mother came on a surprise visit from Aust and was only in London for the weekend. I relisted the tickets for sale which sold 06/04 for £704. I then received an email that I had to confirm I had the tickets within 48hours if not click here within 48 hours - I didn't have the tickets so panicked and hit the button that I did not have the tickets within the 48hour time limit. I then tried to contact you by telephone numerous times [protected] but could not get through and wrote several emails trying to ask you about the process of how to sell the tickets since I didn't have them and still wanted to sell the original ones I purchased. At some point I have spoken to someone else who said it all works very last minute and so list the tickets again for resale which I did - I was not able to list using the re list button agin sending numerous emails seeking clarity - with no response. These eventually sold. However i.e. I have been deducted a fee of 418.24 ref [protected]. This would be equivalent to the full replacement cost since tickets were still avail on your site but you have deducted the full amount keeping the sale proceeds yourselves. This is clearly incorrect as I should only be charged for the amount over and above the sale proceeds of £704 - tickets never exceeded this value during the period up to sale. I therefore expect that you will process a refund of 418.24 which has been charged incorrectly. Kind regards Michelle ps I have sent numerous requests through your site and mail to respond to this however seemingly no one is responding despite the endeavour to do so within 48hours.

Viagogo unethical behaviour

On 25th June 2017 I bought 1x Killers tickets on Viagogo for their concert in Hyde Park on 8th July 2017. The order number was [protected].

My boyfriend's father suddenly died the week before the concert and so I was unable to attend. On 4th July 2017 I listed the ticket with Viagogo to see if I could sell the ticket. The listing ID was [protected]. The ticket sold immediately, but the following emails I received regarding how to post the tickets were very confusing as the instructions on the links in the email kept changing. I spoke to customer services and sent the tickets in a UPS envelope with the printed shipping labels via Royal Mail to Tickets Today and informed customer services that I had done this and was told that was correct. I then received an email on 6th July 2017 to say the sale of my ticket had been cancelled as the ticket hadn't been received. I received another email shortly after saying my ticket had been collected by your courier, and that they would remain on sale until the event. I called into customer services and they told me to cancel that listing and relist the ticket, as it had been received by Tickets Today afterall. I did that, and was told it would be live for resale immediately. I checked the website about 6 hours later and saw they were not live. I called customer services again and was told to wait 24 hours. Bearing in mind this was the day before the event, I was a bit worried it wouldn't sell. I continued to check the website after 24 hours and the ticket never went live for resale.

As such, my ticket didn't re-sell, and since I had sent in my ticket I also couldn't sell it myself or give it to a friend to use. I feel that the customer service and email received have been so confusing that it was almost as if the process is set up to fail. It's completely unethical to ask me to send in my ticket to then cancel the sale and not resell them.

At the very least I would like a refund for the ticket I bought off you originally. I read a complaint about Viagogo in the Sunday Times recently and the advise was to steer clear of ever buying anything through Viagogo so this must happen a lot. It is not legal or ethical to do this.

Kind regards
Harriet

Viagogo killers tickets

Order number #[protected]
I was directed to Viagogo site by Ticketmaster on 14 July 2017.I viewed 2 tickets.I and decided to buy them.I entered my details.Final price appeared which was hugely inflated by your fees and postage.Total was £375.75.I was asked if I wished to proceed to which I answered NO.
A message then asked why and I ticked box stating price too high.Next message said along the lines of, thanks for your input this will help us improve our customer service. Then to myou utter shock I received message stating Congratulations you are going to see Killers. I have contacted Viagogo to reiterate that I did not wish to proceed and therefore monly was taken without my permission. I am in correspondence with Fanfare, Which, Claire Turnham of [protected]@gmail.com who has asked if she can forward my complaint to the police and I have agreed.
I wish a full refund of £375.75 to my credit card as this transaction was NOT authorised by me.

Viagogo ticket sale cancelled after delivery!

I sold 3 tickets for North Sea jazz. [protected]
I was able to see the process that they have been delivered by ups.
Checking again I see now that the sale has been cancelled and I wont get paid.
Supposedly the festival took place over 3 months ago (actually only 2 week ago) so they say I have no option to complain. There is no way to contact them about it as they just lead me around in circles through the faq.
This concerns over 1000 euro and I would like to make use of the sellers garanteee that they state on their website.

Viagogo tickets to kew the music july 2017

The online ticket sellers VIAGOGO charged reserved area price for what I later found out were standard tickets for Kew the Music 2017 plus an £80 booking fee (£20 per ticket x 4). This is a deliberately misleading sales site, shocking caveats are buried under several layers of information. This is legalised robbery. Unscrupulous and utterly disgusting.

Viagogo previously used tickets.

I travelled to Benicassim from Ireland for the Benicassim music festival on friday the 14th of July.
I bought and paid for my 4day ticket to the music festival on Viagogo on the 24th of April 2017, but unfortunately, and to my horror, as I attempted to enter the festival I was advised that my ticket had been used the previous day, on Thursday the 13th.
This is a complete farce, as I paid over 130euro for my ticket, and had no way to contact viagogo to request an immediate refund, or any kind of help while i was stuck at the festival without a ticket.
Could you assist in any way? I have a hardcopy of the ticket, as well as details of my ticket on the viagogo website, in which now says has an 'Issue' with my purchase.

Thanks and kind regards,

Viagogo sold tickets and not received payment

I sold x2 Adele tickets as we couldn't go on that day. The tickets were bought from someone in India, but Viagogo handled the sale and as I hadn't received them - they were just sent out to India when issued. I received an email stating that I would receive payment after the concert. Nearly 1 month later, I still haven't been paid, although I received an email stating I would be. I have sent numerous emails and tried to contact them but cannot get to speak to anyone. I haven't had ANY correspondence from them whatsoever. Pretty certain this is the worst business I have every dealt with -
