incorrect ticket
Date of incident: 23.05.2017 - I purchased what I knew to be a STANDARD 2 DAY PASS WEEKEND ticket for WeAre festival for £138 which would allow me access Saturday and Sunday WITHOUT camping - Viagogo emailed me my confirmation and said to allow time for the tickets to be available for download...once they were ready to be downloaded I then noticed that it was not a STANDARD 2 DAY PASS, it was a 3 DAY CAMPING TICKET from Friday 26th May - Monday 29th May. However, you CAN NOT leave the festival and re enter the following day because it is a camping ticket. You HAVE to camp
Before I purchased the ticket it did not state ANYWHERE that this was a 3 DAY CAMPING TICKET - it stated that it was a STANDARD 2 DAY PASS - otherwise I would not have purchased the ticket as I do not wish to camp - it has caused great inconvenience because you cannot get a refund - you have to resell the ticket which is not always guaranteed and the festival is only a few days away.
On the ticket it gives you the We Are festival tickets email ([protected]@wearefstvl.com) if you have any enquiries or issues with your ticket - of course I emailed them because you can not speak with any body at Viagogo directly unless the event is less than 72 hours away - but We Are will not help with this complaint because I bought this ticket from Viagogo (then why would you provide an email for the event organizer if they are not able to help) - I do not wish to wait 72 hours before the festival. I need this sorted as soon as possible
To resolve this I will either need to be allowed in both days WITHOUT CAMPING with this ticket or I will need a full refund.
service given by viagogo
To whom it may concern
I am absolutely appalled by the service given from viagogo. All I simply required was 4 tickets to the 7's rugby however these are the issues I en-counted due to your organisations lack of customer service
1. I purchased these tickets at first and it stated in fine print that these tickets were junior tickets. I had not realized this until a few days later and you have not clearly stated in the confirmation email that these were even junior tickets.
2. I attempted to return these tickets where you had stated that you can add the tickets for sale therefore I had returned the tickets first class to make sure there is sufficient time for resale, this was cost to me
3. Despite sending me an email confirming the tickets are for sale I tried searching throughout the next few days and I could not find them. Viagogo did not put it up for sale therefore I did not get any of my money back!
Based on the above I would like to request a refund even it is only a certain percentage as your organisation has not been clear or honest about your actions. I will be attempting to take this further should a solution not be given.
Please respond

invalid ticket for venue
To whom it may concern,
I recently hoped to attend a concert at the BIC centre in Bournemouth to see an artist named Stormzy. I purchased my ticket for this event on the 19th of April for £57.14 ready for the concert on the 27th of April which was to start at 7PM. However, after queuing up for some time once I had reached the venue I was turned away on the door despite my three friends being allowed in to the venue. I spoke to the ticket manager to ask why I was not being allowed in where they then told me that my ticket was not valid for this concert despite having all of my details on the ticket as well as the details of the venue and the concert and the price that I had paid for this event. My ticket was retained on the door which I can only imagine was to prevent me selling this ticket on as it was clearly a fake ticket. I am writing to ask for a refund due to the inconvenience and disappointment that this has caused as I had to also pay for my travel to the venue as well as to come home by myself due to not receiving the correct ticket but an invalid one which I spent a lot of money on. The reference number (order ID) for my ticket is [protected]. I have spoken to my bank about this and their fraud team is investigating but have advised me to contact you first before I go to the Police. I will be looking forward to seeing this money being put back into my bank account as soon as possible. I look forward to your reply.

tickets
I wanted to sell the security through Viagogo. The ticket was sold and the 48-hour problem reporting period started. After 3-4 hours, I decided to give up the sale and go to the match and I reported it. I did not encounter any warning or problem. And after going to the match, I saw that my account was deducted 540 TL. I did not receive more than ten e-mails to Viagogo.
I'm sorry, why did you make this cut and on what basis?
It says that if I read the penal terms on their websites then a penalty of 20 USD can be applied if the problem is reported and abandoned within 48 hours. But the deduction made by me is 160 USD.
Also I can not find any interlocutors in my face, there is not even an email address on the website.
Please be careful when buying or selling tickets to this company.
I will seek out my legal rights, and I will warn everybody from social media against Viagogo.
reselling tickets bought from viagogo
I purchased two tickets for Roland Garros - unseated, not realising it was for the qualifiers. I received confirmation on 4.4.17. It does not highlight qualifier on the web.
First of all the final selling price was much higher that the original price because of tax and handling fees. - not explained.
I immediately tried to re-sell, as Viagogo have a resell area on their screen. This was rejected on several occasions because:
* Roland Garros do not allow tickets to be resold;
* They could not see my uploaded confirmation of ticket;
* Details did not match my ticket etc etc - the excuses went on!
Then I saw that on my ticket is the name of the person who actually purchased them in the first place, so they had been resold to me. The initial price it seems was £20 each and I paid £180 for 2!
I retried many times and finally got through last week successfully uploading my tickets - however this time it took so long with no response that it finally said there was no time to advertise these tickets for re-sale as the event is on Thursday 25th.
I have paid £180 for nothing! There is no human to speak to, it is all online and as the client, it is lose lose! A complete money making con. I had to give personal names and dates of birth which they said would be vérified on entry, so I could not sell on ebay.
This should not be allowed.
overpriced hidden costs to tickets
Bought two tickets for The Cranberries. Ticket price of £90 each was advertised on their website. When the tickets arrived there were priced at £45 each! I was then charged an additional £60 for them to be delivered!...plus VAT. How can they charged VAT when they are based in Switzerland?
I went back on line to complain and I can't even contact them.
not reply to my emails
I've sent viagogo 5 emails about ups lossing my tickets last week and still haven't heard anything back if they are going to send me more or what and if I don't get my tickets on time will I get a full refund?
I really need this sorted as the tickets are for Thursday night and we are running out of time, I paid the money I expect to get my tickets and on there website they guarantee your tickets...
charging me for being unable to fulfil a sale
date of incident 20/25/2017
I listed tickets for sale and choose courier service for the method of delivery. At the time I was not aware that it was UPS and I was also unaware that there is not a UPS courier service on the Isle of Man where I live. I therefore immediately contacted Viagogo to confirm there was a problem, hoping we could find another courier company that would be acceptable. However I was given no opportunity to contact then or explain my issue and now they have charged me £20.
The person who purchased my ticket still has 7 days to purchase another one, viagogo have not been inconvenienced as all their emails are automated.
I attach the email sent.
as a desirable resolution of my complaint I would like a refund of the £20.
misadvertising, excess booking fee, no option for email ticket delivery
I have just bought tickets for Sheryl Crow in Manchester, I feel very conned and ripped off. Points are:-
1) Google ad states "official" Albert Hall ticket office - this is not the case and it is not stated that this is a resale site - ticket tout seems like the better term
2)Ticket price significantly higher than face value of the ticket, this is also not made clear.
3)The booking fee was not displayed prior to completing the transaction
4)No option for email of confirmation rather required to pay for special delivery of "tickets" which was in fact piece of paper which I could have printed - still have to collect for box office.
5) Mis advertising as states tickets selling out but intact there were still tickets available via the actual venue box office.
ticket india v pakistan cricket
I purchased 2 tickets thinking it was 227£ each. Nowhere did it display additional booking charges or fees. Only once confirmed purchase did they show a total of over £600!
This is plain cheating the customer. Other resale websites are much clearer in telling you the additional fees. Viagogo only display it on the final confimation page after card details have been entered. Surely that cannot be legal that I enter card details to pay before that add and extra £200 to the price.
Obviously you can't cancel so I opted to 1 click relist and now the tickets aren't even listed for sale. Absolutely ridiculous! Please help
ticket cancellation
Dear Complaints Board
I would like to cancel tickets I have purchased from Viagogo online.
I wanted to surprise my boyfriend, so I bought us tickets to offspring show in Italy. at Stadio Comunale G. Teghil on the 4.8.2017. I have purchased the tickets on the 18.05.2017 at 10 pm, then when my boyfriend came home and I told him about it, he searched the web and found out that this website is a scam, that they charge overpriced tickets and don't send them to the customer. Within 2 hours after the purchase I decided to cancel, but to my horror, I discovered it is impossible, and that many people complained about it. Even the international scrutiny put Viagogo on notice. My order number is [protected]. Please help me, I am a student and it is a lot of money for me.
Sincerely,
Yulia
The customer service replied that they refuse to cancel my order ever though I canceled within couple of hours after the purchase. I really hope that you'll be able to help me since I am not the first one that was ripped off by this website, and it was really deceiving because it is the first google result and it is secured and seems like an official website. I am a student and this is a lot of money for me.
Sincerely,
Yulia Vainer
twickenham rugby 7s tickets
Absolutely outrageous customer service. I bought 2 tickets on viagogo. Tried to resell them and used their "one click listing" service. These were sold and I emailed them asking to redirect the tickets to the new buyer - they agreed to do so.
A week later, they send me a terse email indicating that I had to send them on my own. I followed up and they claimed that they had never promised to redirect them (although I have the communications and their website itself states so). I let it go and sent the tickets (although it was quite a rush).
I then receive an email telling me that the tickets were incorrectly labelled as including a "row", that the buyer had complained and I would neither be getting paid, nor would I get my tickets back and that they reserve the right to charge me for buying new tickets for the buyer. I do not understand how this happened as I used their "one-click relist" service, and the identical tickets should have been relisted.
This is absolutely shocking service.
internet booking fee
It is impossible to contact Viagogo here in South Africa. I purchased two Justin Bieber tickets online 17 05 2017 and was charged a booking fee of R296 per ticket and a handeling fee of R32 per ticket after I have entered my credit card details and the account was generated. No where was there any transparency of the booking fee or handeling fee amounts before payment were authorized. I can honestly say that I would not have purchased these tickets if I saw those exhorbedant handeling fee per ticket before hand.
I trust that you would be able to assist me and have them re-imbursing me the booking and handeling fee per ticket.
Sincerely Charmaine Knott
unable to contact
Unable to contact via telephone or email, have purchased Golden Circle tickets for Depeche Mode 3rd June for a small fortune. People have received their tickets yet my order hasn't yet been dispatched and I want to contact Viagogo to discuss why my tickets have not been sent. The phone line works but they will only put you through if it is 72hrs before the event - that's no good to me, I'll be in London by then. The automated voice also claims you can contact them via email on their website, this is not true - I sent an email and the reply stated they would only process the email if it contained an attachment that they have requested...
depeche mode tickets
I purchased 4 tickets on febuary 26 2017 for depeche mode on june 3rd 2017 in london ilive in san francisco and will be leaving in two weeks!

Did you get in. I bought 2 Tickets, they were delivered by email with one days notice - sellers name on the ticket despite this being an ID Venue where you had to have the purchasers ID and exchange e-tickets at the on site Box Office.. Had to buy two tickets to get in (which were half the price I paid Viagogo..) but couldn't get any proof of denied entry - Viagogo website and hone useless.. It should be the law that re-sellers have a representative on site in case of difficulties.. Other more reputable ones do..
booking fees
Hi, I'm Rachael Clark, and I have just booked tickets for Blink 182 at Manchester Arena, at 66 pounds each, only to find the booking fees at almost 23 pounds each!
This is appalling as the tickets are already bought at resale value. I understand that your business needs to make some money, however to add nearly £100 to the cost of 4 tickets is ridiculous and unfair.
We are genuine music fans who want to go and watch our favourite musicians live, yet we never get a look in when tickets are on general sale. Again I understand your company needs to make money but £23 for the whole purchase as a fee would be more appropriate and fair.
When booking the tickets those fees were not clearly visible to us, had we known we may not have continued with the purchase.
I would appreciate a partial refund to be given to us as we were unaware of the extent of the booking fees, which should of been made known to us in advance.
I expect to hear back from you soon.
Thank You
take that ticket provision
Tickets were booked in October 2016 for the event on Friday 19th May 2017. We have waited patiently for delivery of the tickets.Today, 3 days prior to the event my mother received an email saying that the transaction had been cancelled as tickets could not be delivered. The refund will not arrive in time for us to make another purchase. The order on the website under her account still says the order is confirmed still.
If tickets cannot be delivered, even though we have paid for delivery, there is no reason why we couldn't collect at the venue or change to an email ticket.
P~lease respond asap

ticket purchase
I have writen to both - Viagogo and the Forestry Commission about Order no ID 8821833
We have attended many concerts at Delamere and loved them - we were very excited about the Elbow concert when it was announced. I was working on the morning of the 19th Jan 17 when the tickets sale was launched (at 9am) so my husband logged to buy tickets on via the 'forest live' newsletter link, that I sent him. He then contacted me, excited, to say 'I got the last 4 tickets'! There was a counting down indicator of the tickets going fast.
We feel totally mislead - somehow we were redirected to Viagogo and purchased 4 tickets. We have just received the tickets and the
face value printed on them is £41.50 each. They actually cost us £104.37 each.
This is a DISGUSTING, misleading, rip off - The Forestry Commission and Elbow must make very little on these tickets and Viagogo make over £60 per ticket.
We are very disappointed as this should have been a special, wonderful night which is what I'm sure Elbow and the Forestry Commission had in mind. We will not be buying tickets again in the future.
