ticket sale
1. I am legally blind person who purchased tix for Australian Open on Viagogo. The total cost of tix was not made clear until final proceeding of payment. The time elapsing affected my capacity and ability to clearly read, and assess purchase, for example, I am buying tix for 2 children and myself (who is accompanying children and will not be able to 'see' the event anyway. I was led to believe the total for three tix was $629 and have been distressed to discover amount charged was $2524.23. I am not in a facial position to make such a purchase of any kind. Viagogo did not respond to any immediate emails requesting special consideration for refund. Paypal did not enable prompt cancelling. In addition, there are not details about the seating allocation or times, locations for other aspects of 'hospitality package' so am not in a position to re-sell. I am utterly distressed - please help!

Order I'd [protected] Viagogo site - reporting on scam
I would like to report and complain of the dishonesty activities of the ticket selling website VIAGOGO.
On the the 4 January, 2019 at 16:34, I followed links to this website from the Portuguese platform of Ticketline. I intended to buy tickets for the Mark Knopfler tickets on the 30th April 2019 in Lisbon and these were sold out on all the Portuguese platforms.
After checking on the internet for reviews and trustworthiness of VIAGOGO, I decided to proceed with purchase of 4 tickets. The price of these tickets on Ticketline had been between 30 and 112 euros, so when I selected the option of 4 tickets and the value of 149.09 euros apperared it seemed like a good price for the 4 tickets.
I followed the instructions for the purchase on the first page, registered on the site with my details, address and name and method of payment and when I pressed continue, the total price had changed to 827.74 euros and informed me that my purchase was complete. Before this, the site did not offer me a total for the purchase nor for confirmation of my wish to purchase or give the chance to cancel before confirming. I had no wish to pay 827.74 euros for 4 tickets which I thought cost 149.09 euros, but I had no way of cancelling.
I believe that the site is designed to con you to enter your details and proceed with the purchase before you have a chance to review and confirm the total, which turned out it also included commissions bringing the total of each ticket to 200 euros each. I have complained in various consumer protection sites and the website Viagogo which, needless to say, is designed in such a way as to make complaining as difficult as possible. I want a refund of the total amount paid. I din not agree to pay
Please refund me for purchase of 2 tickets for knotfest iowa 2021, totaling $315.95.. I contacted viagogo several times always told my request would be expedited, still nothing, I contacted ticketmaster to no avail.. the money was taken out of my bank account in may 2021, concert was on september 25th 2021.. viagogo kept reassuring me I would get my tickets in time even up to the night before the concert.. but still did not receive tickets!
tickets
Brought concert tickets under a ticking countdown to hurry and enter all details, then saw the outrageous booking fee after the fact. Not even given tickets or seats for those purchased tickets at outrageous cost.Resold them immediately but viagogog keep telling me i havent added a payment method in my account when i have, so they cant deposit my money!stay clear, fraudulent, wont be around much longer
misled and mis-sold tickets
I purchased 3 tickets for The Nutcracker at RAH for NYE
At the time of booking I was not presented with the
Face value of the ticket
The seat verification or seat allocation
No restrictions on the tickets were provided
I was not presented with the full amount of the total bill until the end. I would never have authorized the transaction had I know. My final bill was enormous.
I have sent over 30 emails to Viagogo and their response and customer service is appalling.

unethical behaviour
I logged on to Hove Cricket Club to buy 5 tickets for Rod Stewart in July 2019, I didn't realise I had gone into viagogo as I haven't done this before. I bought 5 tickets at £130 each. I was later told this amount was double the ticket price. I immediately contacted Viagogo and tried to cancel the tickets, they said I couldn't the only thing I could do would be to resell. I listed for resell at £130.00 each and Viagogo sold them at £103.00 each. I have been in contact with customer services which is so frustrating and finally spoke to someone last night, she advised that there was absolutely nothing I could do except cancel the sale which would incur a charge though she didn't know what the charge would be and said I would incur more costs as they needed to find more tickets at my price for the customer. I have nothing in writing about how much they are going to first sell my tickets for and now how much it will cost me to cancel the sale. This is absolutely outrageous.
ticket pricing misleading, huge markup
I purchased tickets to see Tim Minchin in Auckland. I had no idea my tickets were grossly marked up from the real selling price, which I later saw on ticketmaster. Also I didn't see the sudden added booking fee, which was 1/3 of the price of the tickets! So I want a complete refund, but I cannot find a way to contact viagogo directly to resolve this. The only option they offer is a resale, but I don't want that.
war horse tickets
Dear Sir / Madam,
I am writing to you to raise an issue about: Ticket Resales
The issue that I have experienced was: Hello
I am wondering if you can help me.
I have purchased tickets from Viagogo as Ticketmaster were showing that the tickets had been sold out. On later checking this must have just have been an error on the system as there was tickets available.
On impulse I looked for other tickets for sale and came across Viagogo. I have paid £170 for 2 tickets that on ticket master I could have paid less than £80 for.
I have asked for a refund and have been contacting Viagogo as the issue I have as due to the rush of selling tickets due to the short time scale to proceed with purchase not only have I been overcharged due to fees but I have no seat location for the event.
This concerns me as I have read that the has been duplicate seattickets sold and people cannot get entry to the event. Also I have been totally ripped off and getting no help with customer service at all.
I have read the Consumer Act 2015 and they are totally going against this advice.
Can you advise or help me in anyway?
So upset by it all.
guns n roses tickets
I purchased 2 (500 rand) tickets to see guns n roses on 29th Nov. 2018 and Viagogo charged me 5000 rand as I genuinly thought the tickets were of a much higher value. This amounts to virtually theft and I cannot see that a supposedly honest company like Viagogo should be allowed to do this. My order No. is ID1705604 and my name is L.M.Moth ([protected])
online tickets
I bought 2 tickets today to a nick cave concert on my mobile phone. What i thought i had bought was very different to what I actually did buy. I had no idea viagogo.com was a reseller and when the price was quoted $355 i presumed that was for 2 tickets not one! I had no idea there was a $105 book fee on EACH ticket. No way would I pay for this if I had realised. ! The website kept suggesting that these were about the last 2 tickets available and thus encourgaged me to pay very quickly and therefore not take the time to read all the terms and conditions. Total price for 2 tickets was $939.16. I had no idea I was paying this much. I thought i was paying $355 for 2 tickets, not $939.16. I immediately contacted viagogo requesting a full refund at 11.30am 1/11/18 and they refused. I requested a record or receipt of the the telephone conversation, they refused.

Same issue for the 24th. They way over priced. Only realized after i ticket were all sold out . They are a bunch of vultures preying on innocent show goers. I wont make the mistake of using them again.
was charged too much for my tickets
I purchased 4 ballet tickets online (on behalf of my elderly Mother) on the 4th of October.
She should of been charged $277.88 plus service fees as they were $69.47 each. However she was charged $665.03, which is $387.15 of service charges.
I rang Viagogo within the last hour to ask for some reimbursement because clearly an administration error has occurred.
I was offered to sell the tickets or just accept it as it is.
We were expected to pay $277.88 plus admin fees, not $665.03, so would like the difference returned to my Mother's visa card.
tickets purchased from viagogo for philadelphia eagles vs jaguars - nfl sunday 28th october paid for in full in february this year not received w
In February this year I paid over 406.95 euros for two tickets to the Philadelphia Eagles v Jaguars NFL match at Wembley via Viagogo
The money successfully left my account
I patiently waited for the tickets to arrive
On Monday 15th October with less than two weeks to go I was getting a little concerned so checked the website to be met by the following message: "Cancelled and refunded"
I double checked my bank account - no refund
I checked my emails (including spam folders) no email saying the tickets had been cancelled.
After spending a long time trying to negotiate the customer help pages I finally managed to send an email and eventually was contacted by phone by someone in customer services - who initially told me I had been informed of the cancellation and that the refund would be in my account - neither of which was correct. After some further discussion and 15min period where I was left waiting on the phone I was informed that they would sort the problem and source some alternative tickets
Despite me asking repeatedly they were unable to tell me when the tickets were "cancelled". However I did feel relatively reassured, although no apology was offered, that the issue would be resolved.
So imagine my surprise when two days later I rechecked the web site to see how things were progressing to be met by the following message "delivered" by UPS. There was no tracking number so I was unable to track the delivery to see if it had for example gone to the wrong address
After waiting for a further 24hrs - just in case the tickets were in transit I again contacted customer services. This time I was informed that tickets had been sourced but not dispatched - despite the web site notification.
So I waited until this morning over a week since my first phone contact and over 4 days since being told the tickets were sourced but not dispatched and made contact again.
Again after emails I was contacted by yet another member of the customer service who informed me that no tickets had been sourced, let alone dispatched. ie both previous conversations had been lies.
After much discussion he agreed to escalate the case to "management" and to source new tickets - which I had of course been lead to believe had been sourced a week earlier.
In order to feel as if the situation was being dealt with this time, having lost faith with their systems I asked for a conformation email by 6pm today to tell me whether tickets had been identified. This has not occurred.
My outstanding questions/issues are:
1. When was the original order cancelled
2. Why was I not informed
3. Why was I told alternative tickets would be sourced a week ago and then that they had been sourced but not dispatched and yet this has not happened- ie I have been lied to on two occasions
4. Why did the web site then say delivered when in fact no tickets had been identified let alone dispatched
5. Why despite requesting follow up emails confirming whether tickets were sourced I have had no further communication from the company
6. Lack of a full apology for the distress caused - this was meant to be a birthday present for my 14yr son
7. If tickets cannot be sourced when can I expect to be refunded in full
Thank you for your speedy response
incorrect date of the match - sevilla fc - athletic bilbao presented on the web page and in the ticket sent after payment
I bought two tickets for the match between Sevilla FC - Athletic Bilbao (La Liga Spain). The date of this match presented on the webpage and sent to my mailbox as a confirmation does not match with the official date of this match. Viagogo mentions that the date is 26th of May 2019 (same date is on the ticket confirmation) but the official date of this match should be 19th of May 2019 - week before. I would like to confirm what this mismatch means. I have read huge amount of complains related to this webpage and I am concerned that my tickets will not be valid. I have tried to contact VIAGOGO directly but without success.
buying tickets
I've bought two tickets for a lot of money - I can't now download the tickets in PDF even though it says in the email I have them. this means I can't access them or re-sell them as I can't upload them to other websites to sell them. I can't go anymore and want to sell them but am not able to andam now worried I've been fraudulently sold tickets by viagogo so am doubly worried AND I can't get through to them or get any advise despite trying for a week straight because their website is so useless and only offers pre-empted questions but they're not appropriate. HOW is this allowed to go on in 2018? I just want my money back.
refused full refund, I requested cancellation within 72hrs, they provided misleading and false information, last minute inflated add-on cost
Customer ID: [protected] Lorna Humphrey. Rival Sons, Barrowland, Glasgow, 01 Feb 2019 19:00. Purchased 3 concert tickets Total: £209. 76 Website has a 10 minute timer, provided misleading and fake information on availability and cost. Countdown on availability stated I was purchasing the last 3 tickets (false). Short time pressure to complete purchase and hugely inflated add-on charges added at last second of purchase.
These tickets are widely available from other vendors with clearly stated 72hr cancellation options and no hidden add-ons and at a total cost of £66.
No only did the site provide false and misleading information and pressure to purchase it also added on a 318% profit margin to the consumer's base cost. This is unlawful by law.
If you provide me with a full refund and I will close my case for complaint.
concert ticket scam
First and foremost, I went online to Ticketmaster on the date that the Childish Gambino tickets first came out. Somehow, I was redirected to Viagogo, a secondary site and I spent $400 on 2 tickets that I thought were great seats. I didn't even know exactly where my seats were until my tickets were finally sent to me several months later and I realized how I was taken advantage of (nearby tickets were selling for about $50). To add insult to injury, the concert was postponed to a date I cannot attend. There's no way that these tickets will sell for the price I was tricked into paying. I want a refund now. Shame on them and their tactics!
unethical ticket abuse
I have been charged double the price for theatre tickets purchased online
Miss Saigon
Alhambra Theatre Bradford
Thursday 18h October 2018
Order ID: [protected]
*Standard - £22.50 (Fee: £1.50) x 4
Alhambra Theatre Upper Circle L11 - L14
Your Order ID is 18-KR-J73N Customer Name: Natalya Kolomazova
I was charged RUB 15111.00 - £176.73 which is double the face value!
I also incurred currency exchange charges for the transaction.
The theatre have informed me this is classed as ticket abuse and there is nothing they can do to stop this happening. They cannot upgrade our seats as the ticket holders name is not mine - it is Natalya Kolomazova's.
This is disgusting behaviour and I expect a response, with a reimbursement for the tickets.
