Viagogo Order no [protected]..Brian Fallon Glasgow

I ordered these tickets in October. I spoke to your representative on Sunday night who told me tickets would be sent on Monday. Tuesday at 4.30 when I got in from work. No tickets. I spoke to Rechell on the phone who told me that my case would receive emergency attention. I insisted twice that I wanted a refund. At 8.39 and 8.40 last night after the gig was well under way I got an email saying that my tickets were attached. No..sorry totally unacceptable. I have emailed your chief Exec Eric Baker. I intend to put this on all social media outlets if I do not get a full refund. I was charged over £176 and offered £5 something in a refund. This is my first experience dealing with this company. My daughter was devastated.

Desired outcome: Full refund

Viagogo Purchasing Tickets/Covid Procedure/POOR customer service

This company is the worst. We purchased tickets in 2019 for an event in 2020, it was cancelled. We didn't receive any updates about the event changes as viagogo now suggest. In those 3 years I am unsure if we ever actually received the tickets, and I know we should of remembered to check! But had we received the updated info as we should have maybe we may have had time to sort issues. We found the new date out only by chance, and now they say they will not reissue tickets so the seats will be empty. Viagogo are scammers in my eyes 1000s of complaints online I wouldn't use them ever again!

Desired outcome: Reissue tickets that we PAID FOR.

Viagogo A concert in Budapest for Daddy Yankee

for three days I have been trying to solve the change of my tickets for the concert that is still open on the Viagogo website, I am talking by phone and email with five different people and none of them solve the problem. I am not even asking for my tickets to be refunded, I am requesting that I change the tickets to the event that is still open. The truth is how it is possible that they continue to sell tickets for a concert that is postponed.

Desired outcome: Change my tickets to the event is still open

Viagogo Failure to honour written promise to refund

On 01 February, I paid for two weekend passes for the Lollapalooza Festival in Buenos Aires for myself and my 16 year old son through Viagogo. The cost of the passes was 60,990.00 ARS translating as £433. When the passes had still not arrived with less than a week to go, we phoned customer services and were told not to worry, that they would contact the seller, or find replacements if necessary and in the worse case scenario refund the sum paid.

We called customer services over and over again in the ensuing days. With less than 48 hours before the start of the event, Viagogo wrote to say the sum paid on my credit card would be refunded in full as they had been unable to provide the tickets purchased nor any replacement. Panicked and distraught as this had been a special birthday gift, we scoured around friends to find alternative tickets, which we did and purchased. Several hours later Viagogo wrote to say that passes (using a completely new order ID about which we knew nothing) were being shipped. Viagogo made no contact to ask if the passes were still needed or to alert us that they were creating a new order. We immediately called Viagogo to alert them to the problem and I wrote to customer services attaching the written notification of the refund, outlining that we had made alternative arrangements as a result and therefore no longer needed the passes . I received no response to this email.

The passes arrived the day before the event and having received no instruction from my email the day before as to how to handle the delivery my 16 year old son signed for them. I called customer services again when the passes had arrived and complained again. The agent initially said not to worry, not to open the package and that they would give instructions on returning the package, and would cover the cost of postage. The agent then put me on hold for about 30 mins and then returned saying they were unable to honour the refund because tickets had been issued. They wrote a follow up email saying the issue had been escalated and someone would be in touch. No-one contacted us.

I wrote to Viagogo on each of the following days, with copies of emails, including theirs informing us of full refund, photos of the unopened package, evidence of our entry to the festival using passes secured elsewhere and received nothing but automated and/or indadequate replies. They have not attempted to address the issue in any way. The package remains unopened.

Desired outcome: Please refund the full amount paid for the passes on my credit card as promised in your written correspondence to me

Viagogo Non issued concert tickets

I bought 2 tickets through Viagogo for a Simple Minds concert in Lille France for March 2020. The concert was rescheduled twice and is finally taking place Monday, May 2nd 2022. The link for printing my tickets from viagogo is inactive and I don't thnink it was ever active and I cannot print them. Despite numerous emails and many failed attempts at calling them, I am still without tickets. The only reply from them is "we're looking in to the matter" or "it's being sent to a higher up department". I am less than a week away from the concert, with no tickets and wondering whether to book a car park space as I live over 100km from the event and whether I'll travel to the event or not. We've been looking forward to this for over 2 years. We paid over the rate for tickets (over 200euro). Hoping you can help or advise me with this. Thanks for your time.

Assumpta Bleinès

Desired outcome: To be able to print (my paid for and hopefully) VALID tickets

Viagogo Unjust charge

I uploaded and sold a ticket to a play.

I did everything the site said to do, uploading the E-Ticket in time, and the website said the ticket had been delivered and my order had been completed.

I also received an email from the theatre confirming that the ticket had been used.

I later received an email saying that my order has been cancelled, and that I am being charged for it. Apparently, I hadn't sent the tickets, when evidently I had.

Emailed Viagogo, and basically got told it is what it is.

Now I am out of pocket for the cost of the ticket itself and the charge from Viagogo.

Absolutely terrible

Desired outcome: Refund of my charge and an apology

Viagogo Misleading advertising when selling tickets for a concert

On April 19 my girlfriend and I have bought through Viagogo's website 6 tickets for the "Latin Fest" concert that will take place in Valencia on July 2, at the total price of €456,33.

Viagogo had advertised such music festival naming it on its platform as "Daddy Yankee & Farruko - Latin Fest Valencia" implying that the performer Daddy Yankee would have been among the other artists singing on that day (you can see it as well from my screenshot of the confirmation email they have sent).

However, a few days later, we've realized that Daddy Yankee had already cancelled most of his European Tour due to the situation of COVID-19, including such festival in Valencia, way before we purchased the tickets.

We got in touch then with Viagogo several times, explaining them that we had decided to purchase those tickets because of Daddy Yankee's presence, and that their website did misleading advertising - but they have rejected all our arguments, saying that we couldn't get a refund and that we could rather try to resell the tickets on their platforms.

Curiously - the day after our complains - Viagogo changed the naming of the event, removing "Daddy Yankee" and replacing it with another artist's name (second screenshot attached to my complain here).

Desired outcome: Desired outcome: refund.

Viagogo Viagogo refusing to cancel my order and give me a full refund.

When googling for tickets online I came across viagogo.com. I purchased a ticket for eurobasket 2022 Milan Italy on April 6th 2022 which cost me 340,40 euro. Although on their website it states that they had 4 tickets available which made me think that ok I buy the ticket and it will show up in my email immediately. When I clicked to choose a ticket a 10 minute timer started counting down so I had to make a decision whether or not to make the purchase or abandon my ticket and risking the tickets being gone and priced an even higher price. I unfortunetaly chose to buy the ticket and when I received the email confirmation it stated that the ticket would only become available on the 27th of August.

So I googled Viagogo.com and came accross many negative reviews, many news articles about their practices and how in some country the court ruled that their activities are ILLEGAL. I immidiately reached out to them to cancel my order and to give me a full refund. To this day April 17th 2022 they refuse when I send them messages on the "my messages " page. All the emails I've sent them are ignored. They also have claimed that they have called me when I had my phone right next to me and it didn't even ring.

I provided them with many links including laws of Greece(where I live) and the European Union considering we're a part of it about it being MANDATORY by law that they cancel my order and give me a full refund of my money during the first 14 days of purchase. In turn they say that they work ACCORDING TO THE LAW and that it's not possible for me to cancel my order and receive a full refund.

In the meanwhile I contacted my bank and issue a charge dispute but that will take a month. Please do not buy tickets from Viagogo. They OVERCHARGE meaning that when I found the official ticket seller after buying from Viagogo, tickets start from 45 euro.

I also asked for more information about the ticket like the face value of the ticket, the row the seat is in and the seat number since the only thing mentioned was the section of the ticket. They also still haven't answered my question about that. I also told them that I need the information so I can check with the official ticket seller if I will be allowed or refused entry to the venue because living in Greece that also means booking flights and accomodation accordingly which in the end means that I am bound to lose a lot more money than just the 340,40 Euro that the ticket for the sporting event cost me.

They say that if I don't want the ticket anymore to just relist it for sale but I don't want to do that because a) I don't own the ticket yet and I don't have any information about it and b) I don't want another person to have to deal with what I am currently dealing with.

If you're gonna buy from them or have already bought for them my advice is to google your country's laws first and what consumer rights you have so you know what you'll need to tell them in order to get your order cancelled and your money fully refunded. Also do your research. Don't fall for their trap. I did and I severely regret it.

If you're already dealing with them please keep screenshots of all the messages you send to each other because I noticed that they have deleted some of the messages I have sent them.

Desired outcome: I want to receive a full refund of 340,40 Euro.

Viagogo Payments

I sold 2 tickets face value for a concert dated 18th march, both tickets sold and there terms and conditions confirmed payment would be made 5 - 8 days after the event. It is now 4th April and my payments still have not been processed. When I emailed initially they advised the concert had been cancelled due to covid, which was a lie as the concert went ahead and the tickets I sold were used for entry. When I emailed again they said it was a technical error. They are failing to give me money that is rightfully mine.

On their website it does show when your payment is due to be processed, initially it said 25th March, it then said 30th March and now it just states TBC.

Ansolutley disgusted with there responses, it is theft!

Desired outcome: The money I am owed as a same day transfer as it has been kept from me for 3 weeks.

Viagogo Ticket purchase from unauthorised seller in breach of Australian criminal law-price scalping breach

Purchased ticket after being mislead that this was an authorised seller which they are not. Paid more than double the price of the actual ticket which was not provided to me at the time nor was the seat or rows allocation or seller details. Sale of the ticket is against Australian Criminal law and the venue and only authorised ticket seller have a policy that clearly states it is an offence to resell these tickets and is in breach of price scalping laws. The venue does not accept tickets from third parties and despite providing all this correspondence to Viagogo, they are trying to force me into really g the tickets via their platform knowing that I do not have the tickets in my possession or details to list the items seating etc and that it is an offence. I am yet to receive a refund or appropriate support from their team. Just generic emails pushing me to resell on their site.

Desired outcome: FUll refund and cancellation of the purchase

Viagogo Tickets to a Show in Boston

Viagogo does business in an extremely shady and unethical way. Before adding my personal experience at the bottom of this review, I took the liberty of offering up a few facts about the company below. I encourage you to take the time to read this before throwing your money out the window.

As of October 2020, the company had 26 legal and government actions filed against them by multiple countries. They also have class actions suits filed against them by countries (not just individuals).

In May 2018, BBC News reported that the UK Government's digital minister advised that consumers should not use Viagogo, one of the big four secondary ticket sites.

Margot James said: “Don’t choose Viagogo - they are the worst”.

My story: I accidentally landed on Viagogo's page while trying to purchase some tickets for an event for myself and my granddaughters. I thought I was dealing directly with the venue.

I went through the entire ordering process, not knowing that I was about to be duped by being sold horrible tickets in an area where you would not be able to see the show. Viagogo does not show you the actual seat numbers they are selling you.

It wasn't until I accepted the tickets and they were transferred to Ticketmaster that I found out they had sold me tickets that weren't in the section that I had clicked on during the purchase.

I've tried resolving it and received multiple robotic emails, one of which makes absolutely no sense referring to my UK Ticketmaster account. I live in the US...I don't have a UK account.

I spoke with customer service to request an exchange of these bogus tickets (offering to pay more if I had to) for tickets in the section that I had originally tried to purchase. The woman kept insisting that they have a strict policy of no refunds because the third-party seller needs to be paid. That would make sense if it weren't for the fact that the last email I received, after being forced to resell my tickets (my only way out of this) states that I will not receive my money until 8 days after the event.

I don't even believe that there was a third-party seller. It appears to me that Viagogo is just pocketing money on multiple sales, or attempts to sell, the same tickets. I do not expect to ever see a penny back from these people, as I have read far too many horror stories about the way they operate. However, if I could save just one person from being ripped off by Viagogo then I will have done the right thing by reporting them.

Please be wary of this company. Their practices are helping them remain extremely profitable! If you purchase anything from them, and there are any mistakes or issues, they will not make any attempt to assist you.

Desired outcome: My desired outcome is to assist other people in finding a more legitimate/trustworthy company to purchase event tickets through.

Viagogo Tickets for Celine Dion at the O2 May 2022

I paid £420 for tickets on the 9 August 2021 via debit card. To date I have had no confirmation of purchase. I have tried contacting Viagogo but cannot access my account. I received and email confirming I had placed the order with a link to the webpage, but I cannot access it. I have tried changing the password, that doesn't work. Every link takes me round and round in circles.

This is a lot of money. I want confirmation my tickets are secure. Otherwise a full refund.

Viagogo Tickets

I purchased MSU game tickets for November 13th along with in a separate order a parking pass for the game. The tickets had not been transferred to my account by November 8th so I began contacting Viagogo but was told to be patient and that the tickets would be released to me in time by November 10th I had still not received anything and had received an email from MSU tickets stating that they had canceled the transfer. When I contacted Viagogo they stated they received message that Ticketmaster would be releasing the tickets in 10 hours but of course that did not happen. I contacted Viagogo several times via phone and email with no success. I had to call Viagogo multiplies times on Saturday morning since I still had not received the tickets. They kept requiring proof of snapshots of my email and Ticketmaster account to prove that I had not received the tickets. I requested to speak with someone higher up and was only told that my case was escalated to the relevant department and request for management to contact would be made. I did finally receive a transfer from MSU tickets 45 minutes before I needed to leave for the game. Trying to drive to the game I was still in contact with Viagogo via phone and messaging to try to get the parking pass without success. I requested a refund when I arrived to MSU since I could still not park with the pass that I was suppose to have. I requested again for management to contact me. I received an email on Monday from Viagogo stating that the tickets were successfully transferred to my Ticketmaster account. Since the event is already over that does me no good. I have called and messaged them again with still no refund in sight or a real good answer except they have escalated it to the relevant department which was already done last week.

Desired outcome: Refund and Contact from upper management at Viagogo

Viagogo Ticket purchase

To whom it concerns,
I paid Viagogo €237.40 at 19.22 on the 30th Oct 2021 for 2 Conan Grey tickets for the 30th May 2022 in the Olympia Theatre in Dublin Ireland - (you priced them at almost 4 times the actual price) the fee was processed on Nov 2nd.. I have not received an email from them, I gave them my correct email and I have checked spam folder every day since. I have the bank record of my transaction. I have written several emails to the company but not a word of assistance back. I cannot phone the help line because I did not get an email with a code number. It is crazy!
