Viagogo Poor service in relation to ticket sales

On 25.2.20 I purchased 2 tickets from you for a JLS concert at the Motorpoint arena. Nottingham. I paid £241 by debit card (ending 9650) payable to the Motorpoint Arena. The concert was cancelled because of Covid and was re-scheduled for 17.11.21. The tickets were for my grand-daughter and a friend.

Tickets for the original concert were never issued and I heard no more about it. In the meantime I lost details of the e-mail and had no reference number.

On 27.10.21 my daughter, after numerous attempts, was able to contact you by telephone and spoke to a young lady she believed to be of Oriental extraction. The lady was unable to help and referred her to a Manager. My
daughter was unable to contact a Manager because she had no reference number.

I was anxious not to let my grand-daughter down so on 27.10.21 I purchased two further tickets to the JLS concert of 17.11.21 at a cost of £244.31p. Order ID [protected].

Whilst I have to accept some of the blame for losing details of the first payment, I do believe that the service provided by Viagogo leaves much to be desired.

I wish this to be treated as a formal complaint and await your reponse.

Viagogo Theatre tickets in london

Bought tickets x 2 for birthday treat for the lion King at theatre in London for 7th October o line from Viagogo we were told at entry they were fraudulent - the theatre wrote us a confirmation letter confirming the same this was for a special 64th birthday present and we were stunned to find we had been conned by the company

Viagogo Tickets never received

On may 26 2021 I purchased 2 tickets for knotfest Iowa 2021 to be held on Sept 25 2021. viagogo reassured me that I would get my tickets from Ticketmaster via email. I contacted viagogo a week before the scheduled concert, still reassuring me that I would receive the tickets. I traveled to Iowa from Oklahoma a 6 hr drive, hotel, gas, food etc.. still no tickets on the day of concert after spending hours of trying to get ahold of viagogo cust service the day before on the 24th of september.. you cannot talk to ticketmaster at all, no human contact... so please help me get a refund $315.95 that was taken out of my bank account. I cannot send pics or screenshots on this site because I took them on my phone.. my #[protected] or pam. [protected]@yahoo.com

Viagogo Failed electronic ticket

I bought a ticket for reminisce festival in St Helens from viagogo. They too the payment of £112 Order [protected]. When I got to the festival and got to the entry point, the ticket barcode failed because the system said the bar code had already been scanned in. The e ticket had the name James jones on it, but I assumed as I had made the payment via viagogo and had the email as proof It would be ok. I was not allowed into the festival despite spending the money for the ticket. I feel that if viagogo cannot sell functional products then they are selling under false pretences.

Viagogo Tickets for Trevor Noah Event

I purchase tickets for an event which was meant gi take place 18 months ago, due to covid it was pushed back and I received no tickets at the time. Given we were going through a global pandemic I did not follow up until the event was rescheduled.
I have been calling them almost every day for the last two weeks with no solution. Their customer service is appalling. I was constantly told that they will escalate and someone is looking into it! 3 days before the event they finally sent me a note to say they'll send me tickets. 24hs before the event they sent me another note washing their hands from it completely saying it's my problem and they will not be providing me with a refund or tickets.

This the most stressful and appealing behaviour I have ever endeavoured. I am £400 short and devastated from having to have continuous discussions with a customer service team who have no understanding on how to treat customers.

I will now not be able to attend the event due to no ticket. I would like a refund effective immediately.

I have also just reviewed their trust pilot and it seems they are a scam, there are many customers in the same boat! This needs to be dealt with as a matter of urgency.

Viagogo Fraud!!!

I purchased my two tickets in June and the event was in August I never received my tickets, I went to the box office and they said there were no tickets. I called to complain to viagogo and they said someone would call me but no one didn't so I go home. I see an email the following day to accept the tickets but that email was sent an hour after the event had started. I've been calling them and ask they can say is I accepted the tickets clearly they can see I did not. This website is a FRAUD! Here's my number [protected] you keep asking about and don't do nothing about the situation.

Viagogo MY MONEY IS NOT PAID - [protected]

I purchased 2 tickets through viagogo and did payment, so the money was withdrawed from my credit card. After 2 months, i sell the same tickets through viagogo and they are sold but they tell me that your payment will be paid to you 1 month after the event has been made.
This is completely rude, three booking and fraud. They collect money from many people on one ticket and people pay late.
Definitely never buy or sell tickets
viagogo is a full fake company.

Viagogo Not received tickets I purchased and unable to get a refund

I purchased a ticket for Wireless Festival, Finsbury Park Fri 03 Jul 2020 14:30 this festival on Friday 26 February 2021 - order [protected]. Updated email received on Tuesday 23.3.2021 advising me of a reschedule for 10-11 September Crystal Palace. This new date is not convenient because of returning to college and I believe that because I am not able to received what I purchased I should be entitled to a refund but Viagogo are saying this is not possible. I have tried speaking to them but they say they can only resale the ticket not refund.

Viagogo Refused Refund after explaining my difficult circumstances

We purchased Rage Against The Machine tickets in Prague for 2020. Me and my husband have both been made unemployed due to pandemic and did not ask for a refund because we understand the music industry is on its knees due to COVID19.
We did seek a refund as we are in genuine financial difficulty and are at risk of becoming homeless.
I explained my situation, even embarrassingly begged for our money back but Viagogo will not give me a refund.

I appreciate their policies for rescheduled concerts and the option of selling our tickets but I think they need to make allowances for our case.

255 euros may not be a lot of money to them but for us it would mean being able to stay in our house a month longer. We have all suffered through this pandemic and I think some empathy towards my situation to wave their policies and give me a refund is the right thing to do.

I am making this formal complaint as I am going through the proper channels but I intend on making a complaint to Consumers International as they way I have been treated is nothing short of disgraceful.

Viagogo Selling tickets for games and putting wrong dates of games on the site

I purchase NBA tickets to see Brooklyn Nets and the Milwaukee Bucks onJune 11, 20021 that was posted on Viagogo's website ticket # [protected]. After I paid for the tickets($443.75), bought plane tickets and made hotel accommodation, I received another email saying my transaction was cancelled. I later found out the game was actually June 5, 2021 instead of June 11th. Viagogo refused to return my money even after I've sent them the confirmation email they sent me for the June 11th game.

Viagogo Sale of Tickets via Viagogo

I listed tickets on Viagogo. Since then i have had no help from them whatsoever. I have sent endless emails and nothing apart from the same standard email. I received tickets by mobile which were supposed to be paper tickets, i told Viagogo this and eventually i uploaded the tickets, but i want to make sure these tickets will be ok to use for the buyer, and i wanted clarification that this would be the case. but i have tried and tried to contact them to no avail. I am not happy with Viagogo at all as these tickets i have sold may be refused at the venue, because they are mobile tickets.

Viagogo 4 tickets for 2 different concerts

2 tickets purchased for Olly Murs concert (194.65) (ID [protected])
2 tickets purchased for Michael Buble concert (£278.24) (ID [protected])

Both concerts now rescheduled request a full refund.

ViaGogo have broken contract as tickets were purchased for a specific date this means in law that the contract has been frustrated section1(2) of The Law Reform (frustrated contracts) Act 1943.

ViaGogo have suggested I resell the tickets but it clearly states on confirmation of purchase email that 'it is prohibited to resell these tickets'.

Full refund requested.

Viagogo Delay in refund

In November I purchased two tickets for Riverdance in Palm Springs, Ca. Three days before the performance I had not received them and called Viagogo. After the representative supposedly checked and validated that the show was not canceled or postponed, she said I would receive them in the next couple days. The day before the performance I was informed that it was "postponed" and would be issued a voucher for a future performance credit. I called the venue's ticket office and was informed that the performance had been canceled in August, 3-4 months before I bought the tickets and that Viagogo was still selling them up to a week before the canceled performance. I called Viagogo and was told the event was postponed and I was not eligible for a refund. I continued calling them and was told 3-4 times that it was postponed and not canceled. I've sent them a letter from the venue verifying that it was canceled and waiting to hear back from them. So far I'm out just over $510 and waiting for their return call.

Viagogo Postponed concert

My wife and I reserved tickets for the Celine Dion concert in Glasgow's hydro on Friday the 11.09.2020, but due to the pandemic the concert was moved from Friday the 11.09.2020 to Monday the 26.04.2021, my case is that its a different concert on a another date, another year and another day,

Viagogo Rugby tickets

I bought paper tickets from the Viagogo website for the Scotland v New Zealand game at Murrayfield, Edinburgh on the 18th November. I decided to re-sell my tickets and put them up for re-sale on the 2nd November. Everything was fine until I received an email on the 12th November saying I needed to return my tickets for re-sale. I needed to click on the link to arrange courier collection, which I did. This took me to my account where there is nowhere to arrange a courier collection unless the tickets have sold, and trust me I've been all round it. I called the helpline number [protected]) the next morning but it was a recorded message and once I'd entered my listing number it said that they couldn't help and to go on the customer support on the website, then that was the end of the call! I called back on a number of occasions on various numbers I found on the internet as well as the one on your site. They all led to the same message, except one which was a Chinese restaurant. I also emailed ([protected]@viagogo.com) 10 times plus over the next couple of days but no one has ever replied. I kept trying to call and email but never got a reply. It was then far too late to sell my tickets. You also took my listing off the website.

All this time I am receiving emails saying I need to take action! Believe me I was trying.

I did eventually got an address, when I entered the tickets for re-sale manually. The address was VGL Services, LMS, Unit 16, 12 South Bridge, Mail Boxes etc, Edinburgh, EH11 1DD. I sent the tickets on Wednesday 15th 2017 via UPS next day delivery but I'm guessing they were still too late for re-sale.

The tickets were up for sale at a cost of £200.00 each (£400.00 total). I believe because of the inability to contact anyone or get any information I am entitled to a refund for the full amount.

This has been very stressful as this amount of money is a lot to me.

I have added the address below but I have sent letters to various addresses but never received any reply.

Viagogo Tickets concert

I have bought Celine Dion Concert ticket in June 2019 for April 2, 2020 event at Staples Center in Los Angeles.
The concert is canceled due to Covid-19.
Viagogo wont refund the $317.20 I paid for the event arguing that the concert is postponed and not canceled.
I told them I am 65 y-o and turning 66 y-o in November and certainly wont be able to attend the event in 2021 since I will be retiring in France.
I am requesting a refund. For my opinion, the concert has been canceled and not postponed since there is no other schedule coming soon.

Viagogo Inflated commission for tickets

I bought two tickets for $355.52 to Louis Theroux for the Melbourne venue on 19/01/2020 and thought I was buying it through Ticketmaster and not Viagogo. I and was expecting decent seating for this price.
When I received the order confirmation (Order ID [protected]) I realized that I had purchased through Viagogo and the breakdown of the ticket price and booking fee and handing fees. It stated that the price per ticket is $132.61. Your online presence is very deceptive and people only realize later, once they have paid, that they are not purchasing through Ticketmaster.

Then several weeks later the tickets became available to print out and I realized that the tickets were only $100.87 (see total price incl GST as printed on the ticket) each and not $132.61 as stated in prior in the viagogo event information/order confirmation.
Secondly, the booking and handling fee is much higher than if I had booked it straight through Ticketmaster.
We were seated at the back of the auditorium and far away from the stage.
I feel ripped off to the highest degree would like you to refund me at least $100. .

I am happy to bring this to the attention of the Consumer Affairs Ombudsman should you not be willing to refund me some of the money.

Viagogo Refund of concert tickets

I purchased 2 tickets in November 2018 for the KISS concert and now they have cancelled the tour. I checked my credit card details and have noticed that $484.02 has been taken out of my account. I have checked with Ticketek who informed me that my refund has gone to somebody else. HOW CAN THIS HAPPEN? I would like my refund to go back into my account.
