App switch money missing
I was told to switch to the new app which I have done. I was told everything would transfer automatically
It has not. All my listed items for sale have disappeared and more importantly, my money in my account has now disappeared!
I can't get hold of anyone to discuss this with and just trying to find their contact details is impossible!
Please help!
Desired outcome: Money returned
wrong description in listing
Hi,
I am new to vinted as i have always bought and sold on ebay, i have to say i have not had a very good start in the first week on vinted and feel now that people should be warned that the buyers have no proection even though you charge protection money! i bought a top and was told i, t was good conditon, when it arrived it was full of bobbling, couldnt wear it, i photographed it and sent it to the seller, she said i could return it but it would be at my cost ! well i wasn't prepared to be out of pocket and i dont see why the buyer should pay for a return when when the fault lays with the seller . the next item was as i thought i was buying a dress from seller Katiehaston27 when it arrived it was an all in one suit nothing like a dress, buyer tells me i missed the 2 day deadline on the 28th may therefore she cant do anything about it ! i am really annoyed that she can get away with advertising a dress and sending something entirely different .i want my post and purchase money refunded . I feel so strongly about this i an willing to take this further and and warn buyers on social media how vinted treats their buyers . i am 64 yrs old why on earth would i want an all in one paly suit !
Desired outcome: all my money refunded
HoMedics IPL/RF home laser hair removal system new
I listed the above item and it was removed, I presumed I'd put it in the wrong category so I checked other listings, all 150 of them, and relisted in the beauty bodycare category, it was removed by vinted again in less than 10mins, I feel like I'm being victimised because the other listings are still active, I've reported some of them as CS suggested yet none have been removed except mine, some have been active since February 2020 - over a year! Also one is a bulk seller of multiple £350 units, considering my item is a Beauty accessory sold in Boots retail stores for home use I can't understand why it's not allowed, can you confirm it's actually prohibited and if so why aren't the other items removed?
Desired outcome: Allow my listing
I’m being abused over messages by a seller
Hello I bought something from someone and they lied about the condition
I then of course didn't want the item and can't even re sell it because it's damaged
I'm now receiving abuse and nasty name calling from this person over messages on the Vinted app and I have no idea how to resolve this through you
I have taken my post down as the item isn't worthy of reselling
Desired outcome: I don’t wish to pay them
Refund
I bought a shirt for £19.35. A few days later I went into my mobile bank and noticed that I had a payment of £86 taken. I contacted them and said this was wrong and they said I should get a refund within 5 days. In the meantime I notice another amount of £10 and then yet another of £35. This is NOT duplicate payments, these are unauthorised withdrawals! I have emailed them again about this however haven't had a response as yet however I want this money back. I have taken my bank details off the site until I get a response but once this is sorted I will be stopping my account.
Desired outcome: I want my money back.
Selling on vinted
I have been selling my items on Vinted as I lost my job last year and thought I would have a good clear out and sell stuff I do not wear and make some money to pay my bills now they tell me there is a selling limit and I must complete id verification I cannot do this as my passport is out of date and I do not have the money to renew it I also don't drive so have no driving license and I do not own an ID card so now my money is stuck with them and they have not come back to me on how we resolve this issue this was never a problem before and nobody from Vinted told me about this in the beginning before I sold my items on there you can't talk to anyone they find you off with messages and no one seems to know what they are doing
Desired outcome: My money paid to me
Refund not received
On 15/03 I purchased a Gucci belt on Vinted for the price of 120€ + costs (80€ was paid with the Vinted saldo I had in my account and 49.20€ with Paypal). When the belt arrived I didn't see anything wrong with it, apart from the fact that it was too big for me. I decided to put it back for sale, also on Vinted. Within a minute I received a message, saying the item was fake, and was being removed. I was threatened to be blocked from Vinted if I ever tried to sell a fake item again. Surprising, as they were the ones who sold to me in the first place.
Since I already completed the transaction, I could count on no support from Vinted (I have spent hours and sent dozens of messages but kept getting 'no sorry'). The seller was ignoring me completely.
I opened a dispute on Paypal (case ID PP-D-[protected]) and Vinted asked me to send back the belt to Lithuania, which I did, and I got refunded the part of the money that I had paid with my credit card through Paypal (49.20€). However, Vinted is not willing to give back the 80€ that I paid with my Vinted saldo. I am left without the item I bought, and 80€ I have paid for it. This is not right. Can you please help me solve this, they now have my belt and my money.
My username is avg020582. Let me know if you need any further information.
Many thanks
Desired outcome: Getting back the 80€ or the item
Vinted
Vinted are withholding my funds and nobody can tell me why.
I have been selling on Vinted for 2 weeks. I have almost 200 pounds in my wallet, vinted are cancelling the transaction every time i try to withdraw to my bank.
Vinted have lied and said I didnt have my account activated, that my bank (Barclays) were not allowing the transaction to be processed, they said I havent verified my ID. All of which are lies. Funnily enough I can use my balance to purchase on vinted and pay fees, but I cannot access my funds to transfer. Something strange is definitely going on. This needs investigating as I do not want others to suffer the same fate, being out of pocket due to having to front postage fees in some cases, then not being able to withdraw to my bank.
My identity is verified with both vinted and Mangopay. I can coincidentally buy but not withdraw. This is a total scam.
Desired outcome: I want my funds in my bank account. And compensation for orders I have had to cancel as I cant afford to be any more out of pocket for postage, especially if I am not going to be able to access my own money
I have the same issue, I have been advised to go to trading standards
Product not been returned
I sent a vest to a buyer who is questioning it's authenticity, when I know the vestis authentic.
The vinted customer service saysbthey may get to keep the item and destroy it. All I want is my item back, feel like I have been scammed here. They keep asking for photos of the item but of course I no longer have it, then they were asking for a receipt for the item. This is a used clothes selling platform.
Desired outcome: My item returned.
I didnt place an order but money was withdrawn from my account.
There were withdrawals from my daughters bank card. No orders were made.
These were the withdrawals from her bank account.

Yeezy 350 v2 pearl
Hi I have sold an item on vinted and didn't pay outside of the app the total amount was £210 and anyway the buyer wanted protected obviously insured shipping as it needed to arrive for his friends birthday so I shipped with Royal Mail 24hr compensation up to £500 I think anyway what happened is I inputted the tracking number in the chat anyway time went on he received it then said thanks then vinted cancelled the transaction meaning I sent it for free and they are stating that the system didn't know I shipped it so I contacted the buyer and he said it's ridiculous they didn't warn about cancellation nor ask either party said he would refund me aka pay for a new listing or get my bank details anyway I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks but he hasn't even checked the app so don't think he is ignoring me anyway I have contacted action fraud the police my bank and vinted customer service I'm not angry at him vinted is supposed to be safe so why would they just gamble my money away and refund him without consent my parents and action fraud state it is actually vinted at liberty meaning they state I should get a full compensation of £210 in a cheque from vinted. Now I have the buyers address but am in a hurry considering the app closes soon so I have sent a letter via mail stating I need to be paid other wise police will be called for theft now I have contacted my bank as well what should I do to raise more concern to higher up in the company of vinted they owe me £210 please help I have been robbed and vinted authorised it.
Desired outcome: My money to be receiving £210
Faulty item
I bought a football shirt but when I received it it was faulty. I messaged the seller but didn't get a reply. I messaged Vinted, absolutely terrible customer service. Took ages before they answered. I did finally get a reply and they asked for pictures of the item, which I sent. They replied and said they we were going to investigate the shirt to see if it was counterfeit and they said not to send the shirt back yet, and that they would get back. This was on the 27th April. Two and a half days later, I am still waiting for a reply. Looking at the reviews on trustpilot of Vinted, I wish I checked them first. If I had I wouldn't have bought from there. I did eventually get a reply from the seller and he said I could have a refund if I return it, but like I said Vinted said not to return it yet, so I just don't know what to do. I want Vinted reported, it is a very poor selling and buying site, and lots of people have been ripped off. Looks like I have too
Desired outcome: A refund
Refund
As with other users, I have not received a refund that was started on 02.04.2021. I am constantly fobbed off with excuses regarding their ‘payment provider' taking time to get back to them. It's ridiculous. None of the customer service staff have taken ownership and I'm disgusted by their attitude. Are you able to assist in any way? There seems to be no way of complaining to Vinted, other than the message service they use for all queries, which is actually a part of the problem.
Desired outcome: Refund
Vinted has, on four occasions, taken duplicate payments from my bank account when I have purchased items. I've raised this with them, and was told they are aware of a glitch in their system and that the payments won't be taken. However, they have completely missed the point. For the five days that the duplicate payments are showing in my bank accounts ‘Pending Transactions', that money is unavailable to me and has caused no end of issues for me, including bank charges. I'm furious but they have done NOTHING about these problems.
Refund not received
I had to cancel a purchase on vinted as the seller was uncommicative. I expected to receive my refund within 5 business days. This has not happened. I went through customer service and they took over one week to send me a screenshot in French which was supposed to be proof they have refunded me! My bank has not received this and it is now over 20 days ago. Vinted customer service have been extremely unsympathetic and have passed blame onto my bank. My bank said they cannot find the transaction and have not blocked anything. The screenshot does not give my bank the right information to try and find the transaction anyway and it isn't even in English.
Desired outcome: I want my refund
Refund
I recently purchased an item on this site, to discover that the seller was a blocked member after I had purchased my item. I therefore requested a refund on the 2nd of April. Vinted have told me that the refund was made on the 2nd of April, obviously this is incorrect because the refund process was only started on that date. I have sent them countless messages asking where the refund is but I am basically being fobbed off saying they are Still investigating my complaint. I have provided them with bank statements from the 2nd of April as they have requested but they are still disputing that they owe me the money. Are you able to help
Desired outcome: Refund
Purchase of item
Dear Vinted
I purchased an item and agreed a refund with the seller once i sent the item back.
The item was fake and this was agreed to be fake by Vinted
The seller threated me and said he would only refund if i left a 5 star review.
Vinted left me to be bullied and i lost my money.
My ID is: gurdeep77, the item was Canada Goose 2018 from reloveddesign
Desired outcome: Refund of my payment
My money
You transferred my money from old Vinted account and it's been a week and you won't clear it

Desired outcome: Money cleared now al of it
Releasing funds
Funds were automatically transferred from the old platform to my new account. These funds have now still not been released 4 days later. A "within 48hrs" message is still showing. I have contacted Vinted. They have simply said they are looking into it and nothing further has happened. I have read through forums this is happening to thousands of others.
Desired outcome: Money released in next 24 hr with apology to all buyers
Same for me over 130 quid
They won’t give it back
Complained several times and they release 2.99
If they can release that why not the rest
Absolutely fuming
I’m having to pay postage myself
No WITHDRAW fund 5months on
ive been trying to withdraw the fund since SEPT 2021.
i have logged 4 help time. which they keep on closing without resolving the issue.
but customer service keep closing the ticket stating resolved, BUT ITS NOT.
WHY DO YOU KEEP CLOSING?
WHY IS TAKING OVER 5 MONTH TO WITHDRAW?
NOW 2021. STILL NO MONEY...
BAD APP, BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE AND CRAP TO WITHDRAW FIND...
Missing clothing and money taken without permission
I have had a few issues with vinted trading. I have ordered item, not received the complete bundles, paid for 24 hour delivery and received it 4 days later and I pressed I have a problem and they still paid him. The won't reply with help, just the same response of - excuses that only protect them. They steal your money. I want it back. I have several back and forth emails with them and the same response is a pack of lies and the same response from every emerald complaint. They sign the complaint off as they do the deliveries, the falsifying the outcome on their backend computers. The seller and the buyer get ripped off. You have a buyer protection fee that is not removable, amd isn't available to take advantage of the paid service when an issue arises. They are pocketing all the money. It should be an option. Postage needs more choice and better pricing. This business is fraudulent
