Went to the store tonight , same store I been going to for years and purchases the 10 for $10 deal that ends tonight , with a cashier . I realized I forgot my dish it eats gummy bears for a class project and proceeded to pay for my current items and then went to grab one bag of gummy bears . Seeing that the self check out was empty , I rang myself up for one bag of gummy bears , paid and exited the store . I started unloading my cart in my trunk and this security comes asking me … who knows what, I said I don’t speak Spanish . Unprofessionally, he shows me a duplicate copy of my receipt that he obviously requested , this means he did not stop me at the exit door but insisted to believe he got a case. Anyways, after spoke non English n showed me that receipt duplicate I showed him mine in 2 seconds. Thinking I was done , he points in all my other items that I haven’t bagged yet cuz they were water juices , 20 total items. Again, he said some stuff about it IN SPANISH , I was in a rush to get my child by 5:45 from an afterschool Program and did not get his name on his uniform . Again, I pulled out my reallly receipt and asked him if this was why he approached me. Probably didn’t understand me but I have the right to ask. This is Von’s store # 2338
If I’m being approached , send someone that can speak English so I can’t explain or even understand what is going on over some drinks and gummy bears. I’m not a shoplifter, never have in my life and even if I did, it would not be junk food n drinks.
