Inept noncaring staff, ridiculous sense of dictatorship, for several months they cant get 7th prescription on the autofill but all others are fine. Every month they fixed it and its still not there at pickup time, so they smirk from behind the glass.
Also no keypad at drivethru, I have to go all the way inside if I use my debit card.
Their service stinks.

Re: Store located at
7200 W. North Ave.
Elmwood Park, IL 60707
Pharmacy Dept.
I have a serious chronic MDD and severe anxiety. I submitted my script at 4pm on Jan-28-18. I received a notification that my prescription is ready for pickup at 5:50pm. I also called at 5:30pm to check the status and was informed it will be ready in 5 min.
I had 10 minutes to get to the store.
I had originally submitted my prescription through the app a day before but upon calling around noon on Jan-28-18 I was informed I had no more refills.
I arrived at the store drive -thru window at exactly 6pm (the pharmacy supposedly closes at 6pm). It might have been 5:59pm. Either way upon ringing the bell NOBODY inside was paying any attention to me. I nocked hard on the window to get their assistance. Finally a young lady associate told me that they are closed . I looked at my watch and it was exactly 6pm. I have a garmin watch which synchronizes time with a gps satellite. Having no other choice I proceeded to drive around the corner to the entrance of the store. I proceeded to the still open pharmacy window. The pharmacist has informed me that they are closed and I had to explain the situation I just encountered with the associate which basically hanged up the phone on me even though it was six and the pharmacy should not have been closed. By this time I was having a serious anxiety attack. I knew I needed my medication and the pharmacist pointed toward the phone and stated that it's 6:02 and threatened me saying that they have cameras recording everything and she will not dispense my medication if I continue persisting. I do not like being treated in such a manner.
More importantly we are talking about a PHARMACY and not a liquer store! Accommodating the customer at the latter would be a top priority- at the former an absolute precedence since the customer is also a patient. It is more than likely that this is a person with some sort of disability or illness.
At least a little care and compassion would be advised.
On that night the staff completely failed.
I was surprised most of all at the complete lack of empathy from the person in charge- the pharmacist. I did not ask for her name since I needed my medication and clearly her threat has shaken me in my vulnerable state. I expected more- much more.
I will be changing pharmacies.

Long-time Walgreens customer
pharmacy /customer service
Never had an issue for years. Went to go get my prescription to find out they are back ordered. Asked why I didn't receive text like usual if there was an issue. Pharmacy tech got mouthy I got upset with every right. I have never had issues before their actions were redi ulous and all I wan teed to know was why I was alerted byb text as usual, if there is an issue. Tried to tell the pharmacist my husband had an issue just 2 weeks before concerning my pain meds he told me to leave and never come back. So this is the way they treat their people who have been loyal for years with no issues. If you 1 problem your told to leave. Called customer service have it recorded that is OK if my husband gets up set about something but not me. Was also promised this would be resolve and I would receive a call and still nothing
shorted on medication
I filled my loazepam 0.5 mg, 2 bid so the total for the month is 60 pills. I picked it up on 1/20/18 around 10 am in Mayfield, Ky. I did not open the package until later that night. When looking in the bottle it did not look like there were as many as there usually are so I counted them and there were only 30 pills. I messaged an online chat at Walgreens and they advised to contact the store 1/21/18. I called and spoke with John Paul the Pharmacist and he said that he would do a count and call me back. I waited until the afternoon of 1/22/18 and had not received a call back, so I called the store back and got the female pharmacist. She informed me that they had done the recount and their count was correct, they did not owe me 30 pills. I told her John Paul was supposed to do the count the day before and call me right back, but I never heard from him. She stated that he had done the count and they had what they were supposed too. She reiterated 3 times that they did not owe me 30 pills and that she was sorry there was nothing else they could do. I told her that I wanted the video pulled because #1 I work in Law Enforcement and I am married to a Police Officer, we understand that this probably happens a lot with people just trying to get more medication, but I assured her that is not the case here. #2 that someone obviously has the medication that it is not prescribed to and that is also a problem. I requested after this long conversation that the video of the fill time be pulled, she kind of stalled and then stated she would have to call the manager. She called back and advised that they would pull the video and call me back. 10-15 minutes went by and she called and abruptly said as soon as I answered that their count was off and they would fill the pills immediately. Until I stated that I worked in LE and would have a case opened on this if my medication was not located they were so terribly sorry that nothing else could be done. I feel like this should be looked into.
2 days ago I went to fill my sons ADHD medication. well he gets only 28 pills and we go to the doctor the day before he is out to get a refill and get a check up. we'll I get home to put all the pills in the pill organizer and we only had 23 pills I went right back to the pharmacy and told them they shorted us 5 pills. they did a recount and called me back to the window to then say they would have to call me back that they have to figure something out cause they are way under on their count and the guy who filled it just left on a shift change. I still have not got a call back and my son absolutely needs his meds everyday or he is very hard to handle and can't even do school cause his attention and energy makes his not able to be in a school setting. when he is on it its a miracle drug that has helped him. I think I will be going back and asking what's going on that we need the rest of the medication our insurance paid for and they shorted. If I have some issues getting it I will then ask for them to please let me speak with a manager to explain what's happen and that I would like the video surveillance of the time it was filled and that I will be contacting my insurance company to tell them that they paid for 28 pills and shorted us 5. my son has to have his appointments set way in advance to get his medication filled cause it's a controlled substance and he can't be shorted 5 days. Very strange how they said they were way short on there count when they should be 5 over. To me it looks like someone is pocketing some medication there. A couple people I notice that work there I was thinking to myself man that person sure acts and looks like they could be on something...
pharmacist theresa
My son picked up my meds @ noon. I counted my partial med which were exact @ 1:30pm. then I counted my pain meds Ocxycotin were exact, but Ocycodone were 5 off. I get 180 & there were only 175 so I double counted it & so did my husband. I called Walgreens on Kk & Oaklahoma in Milwaukee where I get all my meds filled. I talked to Theresa the Pharmacist I told her I was 5 oxcodone short there were only 175 instead of 180. She said she counted them & put me on hold for 5 mins. She came back on & said the computer counted 180 & she manually did 180. I told her that me & my husband double counted them & got 175. It's happened before a couple of times where 2 or 3 were missing but I didn't say anything but 5 that's the third time, that's enough! She said when she dispensed them there was 180. She said I don't know what happened from here to there. I don't appreciate my son being accused of taking them! Also she said we should recount them again like we are stupid! My pain pills were short when my husband picked them up for me too before. It's funny that my non narcotic meds are never short because I do count all my meds. I get 25 prescription meds filled @ that Walgreens! If this happens again I'll take my business elsewhere! Thank you!

I have been a loyal customer of the Walgreens store on Desert Inn and Fort Apache in Las Vegas Nv. 89117 for over 20 years. I am now going to switch all
of our prescriptions to a CVS. There is a problem with all most every refill I request. This is always out of stock, the last episode was a heart pill for my husband. As usual the store did not have the medicines we were told they would have it the next day.. 3 days later I called and spoke to the pharmacist and she told me it still had not arrived I explained he need she then found enough pills to fill the prescription. The following week we brought in a script for an anti biotic which the pharmacy was out of... I called they next day
they still were out I said he is sick needs his meds.. They then called another Walgreens and sent us there... Today I went to pick a prescription that we have always picked up there and was told it is at the other store.
And my doctor sent it there which is impossible because this is the only store on file with him. I was told to wait and they would fill it right away
I waited and waited and them was told to come back in 10 minutes .
I have tried to be a loyal customer but you make it impossible for me
to continue to use your pharmacy unless you make some major changes.

pharmacy, drug availability and rude staff
The Walgreens located at the corner of Johnson and Main St in Fond du Lac, WI needs a complete overhaul from the front of the store all the way to the back! Prices never ring up per the posted signage, long lines come standard, the pharmacy runs out of auto-refilled meds on a monthly basis and the staff is often underpaid which causes constant turn over in staffing. The rude staff would benefit from customer service training and/or a class about common sense! Our family fills 15+ meds a month. We have finally made the decision to cut the cord by eliminating Walgreens as our pharmacy. The service we have received at the competitor is bar none. There are too many options available so get out there to explore them instead of staying with a company that could care less about anyone or anything other than their bottom line!
medication pharmaceutical change
I went the neighborhood walgreens to pick up my medicine that I have been taking for awhile now due to my chronic pain and illnesses I was unaware the walgreens corp had changed pharmaceutical companys I looked up the meds online to make still I received the right meds once I took them I instantly became ill and the medicine did not help the pain as it should I waited a day before calling the pharmacy thinking she could help me with my problem instead she asked did I eat something that could have made me sick and she proceeded to tell me that walgreens has changed the pharmaceutical company in which they purchase their meds to save the company money I understand counting corners and saving money but it shouldn't be at the expense of the customers so I will be leaving walgreens its not fair that customers have to continue to pay the same copay for their medicine and not receiving the same quality of medicine because walgreens want to save money now I am stuck with medicine that doesn't work and has made me sick walgreens before cutting corners and losing customers maybe you all should make sure you are buying from a legit company and not an overseas bootleg pharmacy its not fair and I'm not happy I have spoken with other customers and found online other customers are having the same problems and they will be leaving walgreens as well
walgreens electric toothbrush
I have purchased 3 Walgreens brand electric tooth brushes over the last couple of month and they have all quit working shortly after the purchase. I tried replacing the batteries but that was not the issue.
I originally bought 2. One quit working and I took it back and traded for the same kind. Then other one quit working so I took it back and traded for a different brand...which works just find. Now the other Walgreens brand has quit.
In the past I have had good luck with Walgreens brand products but I am very dissatisfied with this product and will not be purchasing the Walgreens brand again.
pharmacy
On Jan 5th I transferred perscriptions to the Walgreens in Forney. One of those prescriptions has not been filled as of Jan 9th. I have called the pharmacy four times, and each time I get the same answer, they don't know. The last time I called I was hung up on. I am out of this medication now. People that incompetent should not be working in a pharmacy. And yes this is a critical medication that I really need.
pharmacy drive through service at hsv walgreens in arkansas
The drive through at the pharmacy will not allow anyone to page or call for service because the Young girl working keeps taking the phone off the hook, laying it down and walking away to the back. The young colored girl has done this several times before and my disabled mother has to go inside to pick up her medicine. She does this on purpose so she won't be bothered if someone comes to the drive through. It is very rude and disrespectful. I would appreciate it if someone would correct the problem. Also the pharmacy forgets to put all of my prescriptions in almost every single time I come to pick it up and I have to drive back some times several times just to get the whole order. Thanks for all your time.
pharmacy
I had a refill order at the Walgreens in Weatherford TX for Tylenol 4.in the meantime I ended up in the hospital and recovered at my brothers in Ft Worth TX. I had other perceptions to fill so I called the Lakeworth to see if they had it in stock before I had it transferred and they assured me that they had the full amount available! My brother went to pick up my meds and was told that they did not in fact have the whole refill! They only had 11 pills but would order the rest! Before my brother left the store and decided to check what they had given me. They had somebody else's meds in with mine! He gave it back to them and came home. lol and behold they had left out two of my prescriptions! He had to go back to the store to get them! That was a week ago. They had told him again that they would call when the Tylenol was in! I called a few minutes ago and there was no record of it! Talked to the pharmacy and was told that it would not be filled because they were out in all Walgreens. Why they chose not to inform me really sucks! Since that was a transfer I cannot transfer it to CVS! I cut my dosage in half to make them last longer but will run out soon! Was told that I would have to call my doctor to write a new prescription which has to be picked up because it is a controlled substance! Well I cannot drive yet and my brother is having knee replacement surgery tomorrow! Needless to say I am totally outdone and will be transferring my remaining meds to CVS! This is totally unacceptable the way this was all handled. My brother will not be using Walgreens anymore either!
music over loudspeakers
I love Walgreens and have shopped there at least twice a week for twenty-five years; however, I went to the Bayside Lakes, Palm Bay, Florida Walgreens yesterday, January 6, 2018, at approximately 2:30 p.m. The music playing was so incredibly loud, I found the nearest clerk and asked her if she might find out how to get someone to turn it down. She mentioned she "loves that song!" which comes across as argumentative, even though she was definitely not acting belligerent. Luckily, she called the manager, who told me she would "see what [she] could do." Time went on, the music stayed extremely loud, and the type of music playing was horrible.
Finally, a nice young employee asked if he could help me, and I explained the problem to him. A few seconds later, another manager approached me and explained that there is absolutely NOTHING they can do about the type of music played OR the volume. He said the corporate offices in Chicago are in charge of the type of music and the volume. After learning about this incredibly offensive business practice, I will no longer be shopping at Walgreens unless the corporation changes its ridiculous "business" practices.
walgreens pharmacy nite manager
On numerous occasions the pharmacist working on 1/6/2018 at 7:30 am approx. Bruceville & laguna, this man has been rude to me my wife by yell at her telling her he will not give me my meds. My doctor gives me a 30day supply & when there is 31days in a month i pick up a day ahead . I spoke with a repersentive on 1/5/18 who told me it would be ready for pick up today & insurance covered it, so why do he have to be so disrectful to customers who want there meds. Thanks to the assistant store manager who went & found out that my meds. Were due & the pharmacist was wrong ! cusomer service is the way to great store ratings & this guy needs more training & supervision.
pharmacy
Since moving from Prime Mail to Walgreens for my medications I have had nothing but problems from this store. My wife and I used to deal with this store years ago. Basically they are terrible. The expectation is that something will go wrong just abut every time you have to deal with them. Unfortunately if we have to deal with walgreens this is the store closest to us. So, the issue this time was that I was really sick and was at the clinic where the doctor there prescribed multiple medications for me.One of them being a pill that helps suppress a cough at night. The script was for 40 pills. Unfortunately walgreens only had 20. Not a big deal except annoying. Since this was New Years eve they were about to close. My wife asked them I they would automatically notify us by phone when the balance was ready for pickup. They said yes. So, waited until Jan 4th and did not receive a call. Called in and setup to fill the balance. Received a call that it was ready. Had my wife pick it up. She got home and opened it to see that they only filled one, that's right one pill. They charged 12 dollars as if they really filled the balance of 20 pills. So my wife just went back to the store to deal with it. Another screw up of many for this walgreens. Does corporate do anything about quality control or do you just let the store provide crappy service. Anyhow my wife just returned and here is the story. The clinic doctor only prescribed 21 pills originally. Unfortunately walgreens only had 20 pills which is why the backordered 1 pill. Do you think they would have told us this. The pharmacist says she wrote a note for them to do just that but it never happened. So, they took back the 1 pill they charged $12 dollars for. Also the first 20 pills were only 6 dollars. The pharmacist looked up what 20 pills would be with our new insurance, it would have been $20 dollars. How we were charged $12 dollars for 1 pill eludes me. In the last 5 plus years of dealing with Prime Mail for my drugs I never had an issue with them. In the last 3 months of dealing with you I have had multiple issues. You know I tell everyone about the issues I have with you guys.
racism
My friend had a big problem yesterday at walgreens Clemson, South Carolina. The cometics employee has been racism with her and it doesnt suprises me since she has been racis with me too since she asked us bith where we are from and we are mexican. She is rude and unpolite. Yesterday she and the store manager crossed the line and we'll make sure to msle this a huge deal in this college town if they dont apologize at least with s phone call to her and we'll make sure no one ever goes to walgreens in Clemson and we'll make sure to make this big at the university and social media and you will have to deal with a huge communication crisis stratejgy!
Unfortunately you have no evidence or proof that racism occurred. Your friend should be making the complaint since she was present and you are likely biased in favor of your friend. How did the manager cross a line? Is it possible they meant what university you are from?
Additionally, this company is not directly affiliated with Walgreens. You will need to contact them directly.

customer service
I went in the Southwest Walgreens in saint louis Missouri about 8pm to find a empty store. I notice a worker who constantly has something ignorant to say to me every time I enter the store to buy something. It could be from oh guess you want cigarettes today huh before I even could tell her what I wanted to purchase, but this particular day she was in the corner by fed ex station doing something I waited patiently for about 3three mins until I finally asked her could I be checked out of the empty store so I could leave to get back home to my kids. The women turn and told me yea whenever I GET DONE DOING WHAT IM DOING YEA ILL Check you out. The manager obviously seen on camera she wouldn't service me and she came out the back right after what she said to me worker denied saying it to me in front of her manager. So Shocking the manager accuse me of lien on the worker then said she think I'm just here starting stuff. I was in Complete shock hearing that from hear and just left out. I called the manager right after I left to report that I would be filling a complaint on them two and I was told by the ghetto black two gold teeth women I won't be allowed back in the store ever again
christmas present return
I bought my son a gift for Christmas in November and he received two of them I returned it right after Christmas only to find out I had to get a gift card and then wasn't allowed to buy certain things I am highly upset and will never by Christmas gifts at Walgreens again. I can understand having to exchange it but I should be allowed to exchange it for whatever I'd like with the receipt.
service
I stopped in the Walgreens at Union Station in Washington, DC. on Tue day December 19 at 8:57. the young man who waited on me was so slow. Between myself and his last customer, he walked slowly behind the cashier next to him to close the gate to their area. all the while, he was having a conversation with her about not wearing socks. it took him about 3 minutes between customers before he finally stopped at his register and called the next customer, me. He continued to carry on this conversation with his co worker, who sort of ignored him. he was then very slow, taking extra time it seem to put my merchandise in bags since i mentioned his lack of customer service to him. i reminded him people are on their way to work that time of the morning.
Nothing more irritating to me than cashiers who move at a snails pace and act like they are doing you a favor waiting on them.
my receipts numbers are: [protected]/19/17 8:57 am
custom christmas cards
Despite twice being left on hold twice and never picking the phone back up. My issue currently is that yesterday I received an email saying my order was ready, so as soon as I leave work, I pick up my son and head there.
I'm greeted with her not knowing where my order is, followed by her bringing a stack of in cut cards on the counter and telling me they're not ready.
I ask why and she tells me she was busy and that I can cut them myself!
I ask when they'll be ready and she says some time tomorrow?!
And for $60 the quality was not that good.
The way she spoke to me is not acceptable.
There are to many other options in todays world.
