does not stock the needed supplies for this community
I am appalled at the Wal Mart Supercenter in Chickasha Oklahoma. The so called supercenter does not stock the needed supplies for this community. The sporting goods is a joke and the outdoor supplies, I just found out, will no longer carry supplies for outdoor water ponds. I was just there to buy groceries 2 days ago and heard a manager getting onto an employee in the produce section, telling him that he needs to focus and get the produce stocked. The idiot manager didnt know that the store was out of some of the produce due to a winter storm warning and heavy consumer buying that day, and if he needed to counsel an employee, he should do it in private. I frequently have to drive 45 miles to Okla. City to get supplies. Whoever the manager of this facility, and their regional is, they should be fired and competent people who can do a market analysis for the needs of the community should be hired.

rude to costomers
I was in wal-mart today and ask were I could find bathroom scales and a person which was the ###. manager was really rude. He reallydidn't seem happy with his job if he doesn't like it he should leave and quit being rude to other people

I'm noticing quite a few of these types of complaints. The problem that I'm seeing with them is that nobody has spoken to the next higher-ranked person in the Chain of Command. If you have this problem, go up the chain (in your case, to the General Manager of that store) and speak to him/her about it. They may not realize that they have this problem in their store (for any number of reasons). If you don't report it, chances are that others aren't reporting it, either which means that no one is reporting it and you can't expect the problem to be fixed if no one reports the problem.
old, broken tv in a new box
My future sister-in-law bought a new Phillips flat screen TV for 700.00 from Wal-Mart. When she got it home, she discovered that it was not the new TV she had paid for, but a TV that another customer had used and returned. The TV was dusty, the power cord was missing, and the stand was cracked. Of course, she returned the TV to the store. Once there, the store clerk compared the serial number of the TV with the serial number printed on the box, and found that they did not match. He ran the serial number on the TV through their computer and it came back listed as a customer-returned TV. One would think that it would be a simple matter for the store to replace the TV, since they had proof that no fraud had occurred on her part. One would be wrong. She was told that nothing could or would be done to correct this situation. They ventured that an employee in the electronics department had "accidentally" sealed the old, dusty, broken TV in a brand-new box and had put it back on the shelf. "It's not our fault, and it's not your fault, but there is nothing we can do for you." When informed that the TV is useless without a power cord, it was suggested that she contact the manufacturer, who might be able to sell her a replacement. My, but Wal-Mart has excellent customer service. "Sorry, can't help you, " is the response she got from every one with whom she spoke, all the way up the Wal-Mart food-chain. She is now awaiting a return call from Wal-Mart's corporate office. One sincerely hopes that she isn't holding her breath while she waits.

don't buy air beds at walmart
This happened sometime ago. We were having company come to stay for a week and I decided since I had tried one when stayed with family that an elevated type air bed would be good thing to get, up until then I had used an air mattress on and off but getting up off the floor at 50 is getting to be a bit of a challenge. So I went to Walmart, found basically what I was looking for at a reasonable price and bought it. I got it home and went ahead and set it up that night to make sure there wouldn't be a problem. Sure enough, the thing didn't stay inflated, as much air as there was in there I could actually feel the floor before half the night was over. So, I boxed it up as best I could (they wouldn't be able to resell the thing anyway) and took it straight back to the store. Lo and behold, the first thing the lady behind the return desk tells me is that they 'don't do refunds on air beds'. I managed to get my money refunded in the end (mostly because I refused to take no for an answer and the fact that I used a credit card for the purchase doubtless helped, too) but apparently the company has an unwritten exchange only policy for air beds, so if you need one buy elsewhere. Also, I attempted to write an email directly to the company shortly after this event and it seemed to refuse to go through.

I would advise attempting to contact the Store Manager and inquiring whether the policy is store-specific or company-wide. I have worked for Walmart for a few years now--granted, as a cashier not as a customer service representative--and have never heard of a "no returns" policy except for the posted exceptions for opened CDs and computer software. I'll ask around at my own store this weekend and see if this policy applies here, too. If that's the case, I'll start warning my customers because if I didn't know, how should they?
employee injury
I'm an employee of the Wal-Mart store. In July of 2009 I was working on the cash register when I was injured. I thought it was not a big deal since my wrist popped and just figured I didn't have any problems.
That evening I spoke with an Assistant Manager and filled out a report for making a record of the problem. The next day I went into work, let the csm know I couldn't handle the register since I was still in a lot of pain. I saw the manager to get a release to go to the emergency room for an exam. After being off for three days as ordered by the hospital, the managers treated me badly. The doctors placed me on light duty and sent me to many other specialists. After months of being away from the registers, the managers started treating me badly and it became worse than ever. They made up customer complaints to write me up, rumors started that I was/am going to be fired cause of my injury, and more. Now the worker comp case workers who are suppose to make sure my doctor visits are covered, won't approve any other visits ( I'm not released off doctor care till yet), won't even talk to me about my case. Wal-Mart took me off the schedule and so I have no hours to earn money. They know my husband has been recovering from a broken neck, I have two children to provide for, and they are still doing this to me. I haven't had any proof of any customer complaints and I do my job without any issues. I'm sick of the abuse the company does to the workers who try hard to over-come things like this. My injury I was told isn't an easy fix, it's only treatable with theripy and pain management for a long time.

cashier
I had filled out a check with Walmart on the "pay to" line, the date 2-6-10 on the date line, and my signature on the signature line, shortly before getting to the cashier. When I got to the cashier, she stood up and reached over the counter where I had my checkbook perched and tore off the top copy of my duplicate check not allowing me to fill in the...

Our local walmart store has recently remodeled. They have made the isles wider and removed a lot of the clutter that used to be there. They claim that the products have not changed and that they will still have everything they had before. The last five or six trips to walmart, I have not completed one single list of items I went to pick up. One of walmarts big things is being a one-stop-shop store. Today I went to our local walmart store to buy my son some overalls. We have had a lot of snow over the past couple days, and being a teenager he wants to play in it on his 4 wheeler. After driving almost 30 minutes in the snow, we find out that walmart dosent have any coveralls. Couldnt even find a place where they used to be. On my way to the other side of the store, I found a manager. When I asked him, he told me coveralls were not in season. I laughed at him, we have 6 inches of snow on the ground in January. He made one excuse after another. I asked about other items that they no longer carry, and he had no answers. When I mentioned that my wife was already buying her groceries somewhere else because of lower prices, he let me know that he would make it with or without me. Well I gave him that chance by leaving empty handed. If I had of bought the items on my list today, it would have been over $200. I will take my money elsewhere and will tell anyone who will listen why I have done it.

I go to the Walmart in Tawas City, Michigan and have never seen a dirtier store than that one. First of all all of the bird fecies that greets you at the front doors is atrocious. I realize that there are a lot of birds nesting, but I would think it could be hosed down at least once a week instead of it just building up and spreading disease. I see a lot of filth inside the store as well. When you are low on an item, If you pick something to buy it should not be full of cobwebs with spiders and bugs( House hold items in groceries) I feel that when items are low, the space could be cleaned before it is restocked. The night shift has a radio blasting to the point that it hurts your ears at the meat department. You can hear it in the clothing dept. The behavior of the night stockers is that of a store that should be closed while they stock. I think that a mystery shopper should come in every once in a while to observe. this store is a disgrace to Sams and Walmart Corporation.
manager's ruling on refunds
I recieved a phone call on a follow-up to the complaint about refunds I recently had made against an experience I had with one at store 1549 in Phoenix, Arizona. I listened very carefully to what the assistant manager had to say to me as far as what she found justified in the decision that was made about a refund I recieved. I presented my case and she presented hers. I just want you to view this one more time because it does not make since to me. I was given, for free ( says those words on the reciept) shopping card. (promo ) I bought an X-box 360
I was refunded for the X-Box (even that took a battle to get) and I want to be reimbursed for the 50 dollars they charged me for that gift card when I returned the malfuctioning X-Box. It does not say on the reciept anything about me having to return the card if I return the product. It does not have any refund policies on the reciept for me to have knowledge about. The sales person did not tell me any info about policies on refunds or about this free gift card if I returned the X-Box. (As a matter of fact I was surprized I was getting one, I did not know of the promo going on at the time) I went in to buy an X-Box not a 50 dollar gift card. I want that 50 dollars back. I gave that free shopping card to my daughter for Christmas in Elko, Nevada. Furthermore, I have worked myself in retail and I have always found a way where my customer's were satisfied in the decision on difficult refunds. I know there are rules in making refunds, but what your assistant manager and manager is telling me is We are sorry that you were not informed about our policies on refunds and we are sorry that there is no kind of information on the back of the reciept that inform you of our policies on refunds, we are sorry that the sales person did not inform you of the policies of refunding this item and the stipulations of refunding this promo package and its not our fault you did not know of the promo that was going on "You could have read the flyer that has the fine print to read the terms of promo X-Box purchase" . Yes, it certainly is my fault so I am not entitled to getting that money back. Walmart can not take the 50 dollar loss that would make me satified enough to continue in shopping at this Walmart. So instead of a 50 dollar loss, its a 20, 000 dollar lost a year from this patron ...ex patron. Smart people you have working for you... Monica Wood 3350 N. 76th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona 85033 Just in case you change your mind and mail me the 50 dollars your store took from me.

To be honest I am not sure what you are unhappy about but maybe it is a part of the story not written down. The way I am understanding is that someone gave you a gift card and you used it to purchase an xbox 360 that did not work properly so you took it back and walmart would not exchange it but gave you your money back minus $50. I know you said you had a receipt so it should be a full refund you are given, I am just stunned that walmart even took it back and offered a refund. The xbox 360 has MANY internal problems and usually the consumer has to contact microsoft and send the system to them to repair. Occasionally i have heard of walmart and some other retail stores sending it in for repair for the customers, which is excellent customer service. So like I said the fact that this store was willing to take it back at all is incredible. Though I absolutely would not let that $50 go, to me that sounds very fishy.
Later in your posting you made it seem like the gift card was a part of the package you purchased and that is what you are displeased about. If that is the case maybe this will make sense i would be like buying a television taking it home and it not working so you return it but you kept the remote control because it worked with your other tv. Or this analogy you go to Mcdonalds buy stuff and open bag and you got an extra hamburger you didnt pay for. Something is wrong with your food and you want your money back, they are not going to refund for the extra burger even if you had a receipt.
Having retired from walmart after 15 years I can tell you what to try to resolve this. I know you somehow contacted home office. Do it again tell them you are not happy with whom you spoke with and not satisfied with the resolution and ask for the district or regional manager to contact you, if not happy then do it again. Remember the squeky wheel gets the grease. I know walmart gives $ 50 gift cards to customers that fart wrong and complain it seems like.
being fired
I used to work for wal-mart up until August of 2009. I was fired because of having 27 minutes of over-time. They called it insubordination. My store manager was racist and we heard her making fun of other associates. I was treated unfairly. They were writing people up for being five minutes over when other people had hours of overtime and nothing was done to them. I was a full-time employee for almost six years and I called in a total of five times the whole time I worked there. I got a d-day for not having donuts out at 6:30 am but according to company policy they didn't have to be out until 7am. But since I'm not there anymore they are not being put out until 9am or later.

Its truly amazing what some companies get away with. I got fired From Longs Drugs in Californiaa as soon as CVS bought us out in June 2009. They fired me for approving a credit card transaction for a couple of guys buying gift cards. The ID matched their credit card. WTF? The register would lock up if it was a stolen card! BUT, I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN BETTER - BECAUSE THEY WERE BLACK! Hello, I'm not racist. 14 years I worked for Longs . Never got written up. Was sick maybe 4 days. Always on time and willing to fill in for co-workers. In addition to Employee of the Year -3 years, Employee of the Quarter- 6X, And won 4 contests w/in 31 stores! They still had the nerve to take away my raise Longs just gave me a month before we converted to CVS! They said " oh well, it must have gotten lost in the conversion process, and CVS doesnt give raises for at least another year", as quoted from the Hillside District Manager, MICHELLE. ( my raise was for $1.00, because I hadnt gotten one for 2 years) Oh, but listen, a co-worker in pharmacy just got a raise in Sept. for a whopping .10 CENTS! /hour. I loved working for Longs. RIP
Sam Walton should be dug up out of his grave and pissed on.
the managers refund decision
I purchased an X-Box 360 on December 30th 2009 at Walmart #1549 in Phoenix, Arizona (paid Cash) Today on January 23, 2010 I took this X-
Box back to the store to get a refund because the tray was malfuntioning. I went threw a 30 minute explanation of why I was only entitled to the option of that I could only exchange it for another one. I did not want another one I wanted my money back. After some words going back and forth of what I expected to get as far as my refund and what the manager
said is what he is going to give me and that was the last of my options.
the store policy on video game items is only 15 days with reciept refund. I was not told that from the cashier when I bought it nor is it on any part of my reciept. When I bought the X-Box they gave me a 50 dollar walmart gift card (promotional ) which if the X-Box was returned (for refund) so did the gift card have to be returned. A refund package deal or no refund . The manager Dereck said that it was posted (in fine print no doubt) that was a stipulation of the promotional sale in Walmarts advertising flyer. So I didn't know anything about this promotion and no one told me about this promotion and the exceptions to refunding. It was not on the X-Box that if you buy this game you recieve a 50 dollar Walmart gift card nor did the reciept inform me of it. I was suprised when the cashier gave it to me as I was walking away with my purchase. But today as I was being informed of this in order to get my cash refund I was going to be deducted 50 dollars for the gift card. And it was perfectly clear that I would not have gotten any kind of refund if I did not agree to it and sign the reciept . I don't think that is right, it would truely be justified if the refund policy had been told to me at the purchase of this product, or if it was on the reciept or I had read that Walmart flyer and was informed about this promo but I had not nor am I obligated to read it.So that Manager Dereck just strong armed me today and took 50 dollars from me as far as I am concerned and that was not right. I know Walmart makes alot of money but that store is not going to get the 20, 000 dollars or more that I spend in that store Yearly...!I'll make sure I will have that down on paper for you to see ... I want my 50 dollars back and I will accept it in a gift card if that's the only way I can get it back. Monica Wood in Phoenix, Arizona I'll never go to that Walmart again Manager of 12 years DERECK SAID TO ME . ( if that is what you call a manager)

on 1/22/10 I purchased a Dell computer(.Inspiron).I spent 1572.14 on that trip alone. My computer has, since the day I plugged it in has a red line running down about 4 inches from left side.I took it back 3 weeks later to exchange it not refund exchange.I was told at this time that you only have 15 days to return, now on that trip I bought a new television as well as other electronics. They made sure to inform me i had 30 days on my electronics. There is more but you, like your employees do not care for the customer anymore, so I am telling everyone I know and talk to how Walmart treated me .More people are hearing and responding than you would think.I for one will go the extra mileage to go to K-Mart.
Thank you for nothing! Craig Morgan(email)ibadman3292@yahoo.com
Where in the hell do you get the idea that you are intitled to get a full refund after more than a year has passed? Maybe your not obligated to read the receipt fine print ect. but that's what smart consumers do. Walmart nor any other retailer is legally required to give you a refund. Further more if they are making a refund for you already when they shouldn't be, why should you get to keep the( "$50) in any form? Think about it and get off your high horse jack ###.
milk
Walmart in both Altoona and Duncansville PA have stopped carrying milk produced by local farmers and milk processors.
The reason they gave was that they wanted the lowest milk price possible. This is false because PA sets the minumin price for milk sold
in PA.
It appears as if Walmart cares little about the local economy, and the quality of their products.

not customer friendly
Wow! Walmart is NOT customer friendly anymore! First, you take away the layaway and today I drove (with gas at $2.75 a gallon) 15 miles to get my daughter registered for her baby shower only to find that YOU REGISTER ONLINE NOW. I guess the only thing walmart employees are required to do now is check people out! What happened to Customer Service. Employ all the out of work people and concentrate on making your customers happy again!
with gas prices the way they are, lots of people like the convenience of being able to take care of things online. I wish gas here was only 2.75 a gallon.
they don't allow you support recycle, reuse plastic bag.
After I return my item, I fold the used plastic bag in a roll and plant to reuse them as trash bag at home. Support plastic bag re-use, don't want to create so many trash in landfill. They told me I can't bring the used bag in, even I roll it into a ball and put inside my purse. Then they look into my purse and found I use another bookstore company...

I purchased a walmart moneycard and had money direct deposited to it. The first week everything went well, no complaints. This was a set direct deposit to occur at the same time each week, same amount, same payer. The second week the direct deposit never showed up. I contacted the payer who confirmed it was an automatic direct deposit and sent me a receipt for the deposit with a transaction number from their bank showing it was deposited. I called Walmart moneycard who said it would take several days for the direct deposit to go through. I spoke with a supervisor who insisted that they did not receive it. When I advised that I had a transaction number and receipt of direct deposit indicating they did, this supervisor assured me that if they had the money it would be showing in the account. I asked if she would like the receipt number, and she said it would do no good because they did not have the money. I confirmed that the account and routing numbers were correct...and asked what I needed to do. She advised to contact the payer again. I contacted the state of Ohio, which was the payer and they emailed me detailed information from their bank on the transaction including date and time that walmart moneycard received the deposit. I called walmart moneycard and advised that I had this information and that they had my money. I had to speak with a manager who stated that the walmart moneycard shows no transaction processing from that bank, although the account numbers and routing numbers were all correct. Per Walmart money card, they are not responsible for monies that are lost on their end, and they will make no attempt to retrieve it as that is the customer's responsibility. Again, let me state this production happened only after having the moneycard for two weeks, and I paid the $3 for the card, AND they did not hesitiate to remove a $4.95 monthly fee from my account for using their card with their crappy customer service. Wal-mart needs to pull green dot cards from their shelves and stop this nonsense. At this time I STILL have not received my money from them.

Reported my card lost on June 24th and still no replacement card and my balance is over $7000.00. This is well over the stated 2 weeks, I think these people are sleep at the wheel.
Meant to buy Green Dot Reload card for son in Michigan. Bought the Prepaid Visa Card by Mistake. Would like a refund of the $70.00.
What do I do if I believe someone is doing something illegal and it involves a walmart moneycard? My ex keeps asking for my social security number and sys he can only activate a couple in his name, wants to activate one in my name. I smell something fishy. What gives?
called to reenter my pin number, could not because cannot read 16digit card number.three numbers are missing therefore couldnot get through.how do i use my card
The walmart debit visa card has never been activated and was loaded with $50.00. The reciept has been lost and would like help either gettin money refunded or added to another card The card is valid 01/12
Recieved new moneycard could not activate it on website, could not activate it over phone they had entered wrong birthday. Didn, t know temporary card was onetime use only. What a joke
For the past 2 months (4 paychecks) I've had no problem with my walmart DD, until this morning. I called them and the rep told me my funds could be released on the 27th. When I told her that was unacceptable, my payday is today, all they offered me was "I'm sorry for the inconvenience ma'am". When I asked to speak to a supervisor, she said they wouldn't be in until 5 am pacific standard time. I repeated the time of 6:30 am in KS and she said no, it's 4:30 am. That would make them out on the west coast somewhere, CA more than likely. She told me she was in South East Asia. How in the world is Asia 2 hours behind KS? She told me she could see a notification about my arriving DD. I'm livid. As soon as I get my $$, I will be deactivating my card.
I agree! Warning! DO NOT direct deposit to Walmart MoneyCard. I lost my card for a few hours, then found it. They would not reinstate my card, they told me I could, for a fee, have it Fed Ex'd in a couple of days. NO help whatsoever. ALLLLLLL my money is on the card and it is a week later and they still have not even put the card on the Fed Ex truck yet. I have 5 kids and it's two days before Christmas - they have all my money and I can't even get gas or food, much less Christmas presents! I've called repeatedly but they don't care. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE VULTURES!
the exact same thing is happening to a friend of mines. she got the walmart money card so that she can have her taxes direct deposited on there and the irs is showing that the funds have been deposited as of the 29th of jan but walmart money card is acting as if they never received the money. they are trying to say that a deposit and the actual receipt of funds are different. This may be true but if they are going to hold on to funds they need to tell people that upfront. in one breath they told her that they dont show a deposit but in the next breath they told her that her funds should be available on her card by feb 5. that posed a question which is how can you give someone a date of availablity if you dont show a deposit? the lady went on to say that as soon as they got the funds the would give it to her, she said why would we hold on to your money. I see it as, that's a good question. why are they holding on to folks money and playing around? Oh by the way the lady changed the date from feb 5 to feb 12 because it can take 8-14 days for the funds to be available, something else they should have in bold print while they are advertising to have you money deposited on the walmart money card through turbo tax. Forget walmart money card. people depend on their money and we are in a recession and this is not the time for games.
Why are you complaining? YOU bought the wrong item.
Only excuse would be being illiterate. But you use the internet, so I assume you can read.
Best option: Withdraw the remaining amount (you probably won't get back the $3 for buying the card, or the $3 monthly fee when you activated it).
Buy the right thing next time.
Or use the card itself to purchase the correct card, and promptly cancel the first one.
You can probably call up Green Dot (the number should be on the back of the card) and try to work it out with them.
Probably won't get back the fees, and it will probably take some time to get back what you do get.
So in the end, refer to the first option I listed, and make sure next time to read the fine print.

Read full review of Walmartdid not honor price tag and threw it away acted as if I was a liar and cheater
I went to purchase a e-machine computer there was a price tag in front of it a small white sticker that had the price of $298.00 when I went to the register to pay for it, it rang up $398.00 when I said something to the cashier she called back to electronics and asked them they said someone put the wrong price tag up last night. They then went and took the tag down and then told me that it was for a different model and when I asked to see the tag it took them at least 15 minutes to come up front with a big tag that was not there for a different model. I said I wanted to see the manager and was told there was not a manager on duty. Then I told them that they were being decietful and then all the sudden there appeared a manager. He said this was the only tag they had although me and my Husband know better we both saw the price tag and are now being called liars... I asked the manager who took the price tag off and of course he didn't know... I told him to go and look at his cameras and find out who took off the tag, He came back about 20 minutes later with two pictures that were blurry and He knows they have all kinds of angles and he brought one that wasn't even up close he had one that was at the end of an asle. He refused to give me the computer for the price and more or less called me andmy husband liars. While we waited for the pictures I went back to the electronics department and asked who took down the tag and a young guy said he did and that he threw it away because that is what he is supposed to do.I asked him how he could throw something away when it was being questioned and he said because he was supposed to when I asked him for it he and another female associate so called looked for it but it couldn't be found.

I am 40 years old. I remember when Donahue was the day time talk show. The crowd would boo at people like Lisa. By the time Ricky Lake was the show people would laugh at and sometimes agree with people like Lisa. Now on Jerry Springer people cheer people like Lisa on! I'm glad to hear the overwhelming call for Lisa to explore morals. I've learned that our society does know right from wrong, and I've learned that I ... watch to much TV.

THIS, This Is Why Our Country Is In This Shape, With People Of "Your Kind" (The Ones With No Common Sense, Or A Thought Of Right From Wrong) Being Responsible For Why We Are In A Bad Economy. People Taking Loans They Can't Afford, Committing Various Methods Of Fraud; And Hey Since The Parents Are Doing It, Lets Teach The Kids The Same. Hey Ya Know I've Been Wanting An iPod For Xmas, And I Really Don't Want To Pay $300+ Maybe I'll Switch It So It's $20, So I Can Afford It. We All Know That They HAVE To Honor It. Thank You Lisa Young, Your A Perfect Model Citizen, And A Great Contribution To Society, Thank You Again So Much. *NOTE THE SARCASM*
Yours Truly
-A 15 Year Old With More Common Sense Than A Grown Adult!
Shame On You.
JUST PAY UP AND SHUT UP!
Lisa, also just so you know, they do NOT have to honor the price they see if they know YOU or ANYONE YOU KNOW changed it! Again, you are stupid!
This is rather stupid! Yes, it is indeed, Lisa, illegal to change price tags on a shelf, sign, or otherwise for the purpose of personal gain. If you were standing in front of me I'd slap you in the face for being so stupid! It's a form of fraud and it is punishable in a court of law, and yes if Walmart decided to prosecute they would win, not you! You people are the reason why the rest of us have to pay more for the things we need! How can anyone make it through their life being so stupid? Do everyone a favor and go sunbathe on a freeway!
I swear; if ever they conduct a study as to why our country is academically behind even third-world nations where students do their homework with sand and a stick...I will direct them to here to you, Lisa. Because if you're this morally bankrupt and mentally challenged, there's a good chance that your sister (the teacher) is as well. There's even a few comments hinting at that on this post.
And before you get all "righteous" on me, know that I do NOT work for Walmart, and I am a teacher as well. Though I teach 10th grade, not 3rd, which may account for why I have more common sense than your family. You see, where I live, it's required that the teacher actually know more than her students in order to conduct class.
Wow this is just funny and ridiculous. Oh no I forgot to bring a $100 bill...well here's a price tag that will knock down the price, how about I just switch them? What?! You won't honor my $100 discount because you saw me illegally switch prices on cameras and had pictures to prove it, and it did not match your inventory? And you're calling the police because it's fraud and a high priced item?! I am so offended...I always thought I was raising my kids the right way by teaching them to steal! If you can't buy it just steal it? Thank you for stealing from Wal-Mart have a nice day.
How would you and the other stealer's feel if the owners and stock holders of these businesses came to your house and stole your things? Or say they want your TV. This sticker they put on it says $20. It's different when its you things. Someone breaks in and robs your house or steals your car. Do you just blow it off. NO, I'd bet not. You call the police just as fast as your fingers can dial. The standards are different when its YOUR stuff being taken huh. If you don't have the money, you wait until you do. You don't just steal it because you want right, NOW. And can afford it. No wonder we're in the shape we are. With so many thinking its ok to just steal what they. And think stealing is fine.
This is almost too rediculous for comment. You switched prices and got caught trying steal a $100 worth of merchandise, and dumb enough to blame wal-mart for catching you and not going along with your scam. Then your mad at Wal-mart for calling the police on you husband after going back and stealing from Wal-Mart again and getting caught, again. And its Wal-Mart's fault they had a better picture the SECOND time your husband was caught stealing from them. It sounds like you and your husband need to change jobs, cause your definately not very good at being thieves! He could use the computer at the library free. And you don't go to jail using it. (Unless of course you try to steal it.)

rude employees
Where do I even begin? Rude people...ignorant people...and bad service! I had a jug of milk that I was going to buy, and once I got to the counter, I noticed it was leaking very badly. We asked one of the workers to please get another so we could exchange it, and the idiot snapped me up. She snatched it, she started blowing, and mumbling something under her...

Read full review of Walmart and 1 commentbook return
I purchased a book for my husband for Christmas. He received two copies of the same book and I tried to return my copy yesterday [Jan 1 2010] at this WalMart store. After waiting on line for about 20 minutes, I was told at Customer Service that books cannot be returned after three days. He did not read the book, or even open it. I am disappointed. I never return items, but this is ridiculous. I checked the WalMart website for their return policy on books and it says "Books: Must be returned unused and unmarked." This policy does not match the Fuquay-Varina NC store! Beware! Not all stores follow the posted return policies! Do NOT buy books at the WalMart store on Broad Street, Fuquay-Varina! I now have a book I cannot use and out $20. They have just lost a customer. I'm sure they have plenty and do not care.

I just had the same problem today. I purchased the book less than 24 hours PRIOR to my return. Because one page had been bent they accused me of reading the 400 page + book... did I mention i had this book in my possession for LESS THAN 24 HRS? I left a message with the store manager and I am waiting to hear back. I also went back to the "book department" in the store and took pictures of all the books littering the aisle and all the books with pages bent or torn. ( walmart has never been known for the pristine conditions of any of their products). This might all seem extreme, but I'm passed the point of simply wanting a refund, now its just a matter of principle.
it makes since to me that they wouldnt let you return a book after 3 days. How are they to know you havent already read it and now are just trying to get your money back?

Counseling an employee in public is never an appropriate course of action. When you witness something like this, don't ever be afraid to make contact with the Store Manager and report what you have seen. Chances are, the Manager has no clue what the Assistant Manager just did. As I tell everyone I know, just picture that employee being berated as you and ask the question: "Would I want someone to report him if that was me?". A well-based accusation by a customer will carry much more weight than that employee approaching the General Manager about what happened on his own.
As far as the store not stocking what is frequently needed, feel free to speak to the General Manager about that as well. You'd be surprised at how accommodating most of them will be. When my son was an infant, he was on a special formula that our local Wal-Mart only carried 2 bottles per week of and which was usually sold out. When I spoke to the manager and let him know that I would need 14-16 bottles per month of the formula, he happily increased their order to accommodate the request. Try that out at your Wal-Mart...You may be pleasantly surprised!
Excellent comment... Especially the part about counseling an employee in public. That is extremely unprofessional!
