denied check cashing
I have been at the same company for 10yrs and have cashed my checks at WalMart for about 5yrs now and I went in last week and they said they could not cash my check and gave me a slip with the # to Certegy Check Services, I called and got someone who does not speak english and all they could tell me was it was to protect customers like me! Protect me from what, it was MY CHECK! I will no longer shop at WalMart, they use an out source company probably not even in the United States and they appearantly have no clue as to what they are doing! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!
won't sell me beer
I was at Walmart on July 5th. I was checking out. I had 3 little boys with me all under the age of 9. I had all of my grocery on the check out counter and I had a case of beer on bottom of the buggy. Well, I tell my kids to stand by the buggy, 1, so they are not in the way and 2, so no one pick my kids up and hit the door before I can reach them. So this lady had already bagged and rang up all of my stuff except for the beer. She goes to ring it up and then throws her hands in the air and says she can't ring the beer up because of the kid's foot that had touched the box.
I asked her to please ring the beer up so we could leave and she couldn't because it was the law. She couldn't sell it to me even if I took the kids to the car. She also told me that leaving the kids in the car while I purchase beer is against the law as well. They are my damn kids I can do whatever I please with them. She said it was the law and she could lose her job. This is the most ###ed thing I have ever heard. I told her so. She acted like I was buying the beer for them. Mind you, they were all under 9 years old. She was showing out like I had done something wrong in front of God and everybody.
I have tried to call the Walmart there to talk to the management and no one comes to the phone. I will not be going back to this Walmart store ever again. I have been going to this store for the past 15 years. I go 2 or 3 times a week. I spend 2 or 3 hundred dollars a week there. I don't ever drink beer but the point is she acted like a crazy person. I don't ever like to buy beer, but my husband works and he likes to drink so I pick it up for him. She made me feel like I was trying to buy beer for the kids. I was very angry. Had I thought about it, I would have just left her with the whole buggy and the stuff to put up. I just wanted someone to know because I was very upset and can't get anyone on the phone.
Yeah I did post that in the original complaint, that is what I told the cashier. I was hoping that if she knew that it was not for me that she would allow the purchase.
First of all, I don't have a drinking problem. Before you judge me you should know that drinking beer helps me relax. Being a single parent is very difficult and it makes me relax and prevents me from hurting my children. It keeps me calm. Sometimes my children do such crazy things that I want to hurt them, I don't drink much just one or two a day, more on the weekend. However when my children does crazy things drinking keeps me from hurting them. So in a way Walmart is allowing me to lose my anger and hit my children if they don't sell me beer.
I guess the best option would be to hire a baby sitter and charge Walmart for the babysitter, or leave them home alone which I don't feel comfortable doing in case someone tries to break in. Also Tasha please don't contact CPS, I had no idea that leavin them in the car was illegal.

price match deception-out of control management
Walmart tampa gandy store #4681 price match deception
Saturday, june 23, 2012 I was humiliated, embarrassed, detained, accused of breaking the law, security called by csm beth who was very rude, sarcastic, and accused of recording the conversation regarding walmart’s price match method when I was overcharged more than $7.00.
What walmart’s tampa gandy store #4681 doesn’t want customers to know about “price match”! Beware and do your homework, if you plan to use it to have walmart price match publix (Walmart’s biggest competitor in the area). I am not sure what method this walmart is using, when price matching publix and possibly other competitors. What I do know is the method is deceptive. After cashiers, customer service managers or assistants find the items in the publix circular they enter the prices in at a substantially higher price on many items. Unsuspecting customers are being charge far more than if they buy the exact same item from publix. Unfortunately this has probably happened to myself as well as other customers many times. However on my last visit to walmart I had purchased four of the exact same items at publix the previous day and the cashier at walmart was very slow, therefore this gave me the opportunity to watch as she entered in the prices. This is when I noticed I was being charged as much as $2.50 more at walmart than I paid at publix the previous day. Of course I stopped her, as looked over the other items I discovered a considerable overcharge on all the “price match” items. Upon my request a customer service manager was called to the register. From the moment she arrived at the register she was rude and sarcastic as she told me I should shop at publix if I didn’t like their method and didn’t want to chance paying more, then she accused me of recording the conversation breaking the law, threatened to have me arrested and called security on me. I was humiliated and embarrassed beyond belief. Unfortunately I did not record the conversation, however I do have the receipt from walmart and publix that prove customers are paying more using the “price match” method. Has this happened to you!
Okay so I was not being honest with you. However seriously get a life, do you make it a habit to go around finding errors in people's stories and harass them about it.
I KNOW PRETTY DAMN WELL THAT PUBLIX DOES NOT PRICE MATCH. I ONLY TOLD THEM IN HOPES THAT THEY WOULD PRICE MATCH. HOWEVER BECAUSE OF THE COLOR OF MY SKIN THEY CHOSE NOT TO BELIEVE ME AND BAN ME FROM THEIR STORE. Who cares about price match the point is the customer is always right and they were rude.
I showed them a flier GEOMMM, they said since the sale ended last week that they could not match the price. Then they falsely accused me of recording their conversation. This is not illegal I have every right to record them and when they asked me to erase the private conversation I did as asked. They said recording a private conversation without the knowledge is against the law. Then the security told me I was banned from the store for a year. I don't care I will ask when he is working to return to the store and come when he is not working. he can't push me around and treat me like a criminal. IT was advertized. they said since the ad expired that they could not help. They were rude arrogant people who discriminate against people who don't have same skin as them. I said publix price matches old ads all the time and she said i should shop at Publix. I told the rude sarcastic csm and security to cancel my purchase and threw the item at the CSM told her she can keep it.
rude employees at walmart
I would like to air a complaint to Walmart in regards to their personnel who pickup the buggies in the parking lot. Earlier two boys who are employed by Walmart saw that I was about to pull out of the parking space & they stopped all those buggies behind my car & proceeded to talk to about three different sets of people (seemed anyone they could find) & left the carts blocking me in so I couldn't pull out after they had seen I was leaving. I had to sit there for 10 minutes but not without asking them to please move the carts & them just totally ignoring me. One employee kept laughing to his friend (the other employee) & kept ignoring me, I believe they should be reprimanded by their manager but I've begun to believe that the Walmarts in Macon need to brush up on their hiring. With employees attitudes like that, I believe I will start going to Kroger.

This is not Walmart's site. You need to contact the Walmart store and speak with the Manager with their phone number which should be on the receipt.
rude employees/ unprofessional behavior
The Walmart located at Chastain Meadows has the worst and rudest employees I have ever come across in my entire life! NO hello's or goodbyes at the register while checking out. I have had several bad experiences with the employees at this store. Recently, I came to return a windows cd that I did not open. I bought this product with the plastic open and did...
Read full review of Walmart and 5 commentstowed a paying customer
The Walmart on 2004 Pleasant Blvd. does not offer dedicated parking for expecting mothers. Because the parking lot was very full and I did not want to walk a long way with my "little one", I parked in the handicapped spot. I know this was a mistake, but what Wal-Mart did was even worse. I was only in the store 15 minutes (5 minutes getting milk and shampoo, 10 minutes checking out), . When I came out, my car was gone;. I freaked out?. I went the the customer service desk and some snooty manager came over and said they contract a private company to patrol the parking lot and that MY car was probably towed!. MY CAR! He could have given me a warning but no - Wal-Mart decided to TOW A PAYING CUSTOMER!
In addition to having my car towed, I now had to pay a Taxi to pick up my car, and now I am stuck with a $50 towing charge, $25 storage fee, and a $200 fine!. I went back to this location to see if Wal-Mart would help me with the fine?. They again OUTRIGHT REFUSED?. My husband works at Wal-Mart's Home Office and he knows that Wal-Mart shouldn't treat customers like this?. I told him about this and I know the manager of this store can't be proud of the company towing paying customers from the store's lot.

made my blood boil, and made me want to hit my son.
Every time I go into the Walmart in Sevierville, something happens that makes my blood boil! I will give you the 2 worst incidences. I was returning a pair of pants that did not fit my son. I had misplaced the receipt, but was just going to swap sizes. I walked just to the end of the mat at the front door, then remembered I had to check the item with the door greeter. She refused to check it "because she saw me come from inside the store". Again, I only got to the end of the mat at the front door, didnt even hit the tile yet. I went to customer service, told them what happened with the door greeter, but luckily they exchanged the pants. I was just beyond irate with the door greeter accusing me of stealing.
I went to the pharmacy one day to fill my son:s medication because I knew that they carried the generic. I was told it would be about 45 mins. I did some shopping and checked back after about an hour. I was told it would be another 15 mins. When they finally called me up, they said they were out. I threw a fit that they wasted over an hour of my time! Needless to say, I didnt but anything! Avoid at all costs
My son does not live with me. That is why I don't know the size of his clothing. He lives with my grandparents because they said that I am not fit to take care of him. They went to court and everything to take my son from me, so get your facts straight before you assume that I am a mother that does not know the size of her son's clothing.
I did not hit him, because I don't want to lose him. You don't know what it is like. I am a young mother. My son is seven years old. I am 23 years old. I had my son when I was only 16. I do admit I have anger issues.

yep... this complaint is total fraud and [censored]e... hit yer son! wot a lot of bollox.
Or slimjim, whoever posts these kinds of bogus complaints on my3cents. Tasha, and Kevin, never heard of them on my 3cents. It could also be Michelle Connery.
Actually I believe it is either Drenda posting this or Iron fist(or whatever that losers name is)
Also I believe the person posting this and the Petco review is Tasha and or Kevin.
I might be wrong here, but I believe you are the same person who threatened to poison the pets at Petco. You don't have a son, and you are just posting this for attention. Seriously if you did want to hit your son over this and this is for real, I hope your parents get a hold of this review and use it against you to keep your son from you. However I doubt this is real and I believe you just posted this for attention.
Integrity is best
No one accused her of anything. The greeter simply said that she could not put a tag on the pants since she did not see her bring them in. That and the fact that she had no receipt was a red flag.
shut it tasha troll
When they finally called me up, they said they were out. I threw a fit that they wasted over an hour of my time! "
Real mature behavior from an adult.
You know what, it is not a matter of her bringing in the pants from inside the store or outside the store, the customer is always right.
You know what these stores make millions and they should not be too hard on someone who steals. This person did not even steal. Even if she did, what if she needed the money for her son's clothing because she did not have a job and be able to afford the clothing.
improper bagging
I haven't complained to management about this, as it's been some time and I was still underage when it happened. Mother didn't wish to complain.. They have an employee that we kept ending up in his line with alarming regularity. If we were buying poisonous items...sprays, cleaners, flea and tick things for the pets...he would just haphazardly put them into...
Read full review of Walmartwon't hire my son
My son just turned 16 years old, and applied at Wal-Mart. He was so happy when they called him for an interview. He came home and told us he had the job. Next, he went in for the so-called orientation where they sent him for a drug test. He did it and passed. Then they had him fill out information for a background check so he did, and then he waited and waited and waited for them to call him to start work. He then got a copy of the background report in the mail with a clear background, nothing on it and called Wal-Mart to find out when he can start working. They told him to call the background place and give them permission to let Wal-Mart have the information, so he did, several times back and forth phone calls, .
He received another background check:. Finally, the background check company told him he didn't get the job and they sent him a turn down letter". He went to Wal-Mart and they said that is their policy|. It turned out that when he filled out the paper work for the background check, they told him (while he believed he was an employee, an implied verbal contract by Wal-Mart) to put everything he ever did on the paper; if he got in trouble for anything, put it on the paper'. He did get in trouble as a minor (he still is a minor) and the records are sealed, of only minor fractions of the laws, that of a misdemeanor!. But he listed everything anytime he had a situation when the police were involved?. They told him to put everything down because if they found something that he didn't put down, he would lose his job?. And then when he was found clean with nothing on his record, they fired him or reversed the hiring because of what he had put down on the form.
I am so angry that this is Wal-Mart's policy, and I intend to make people aware of this policy, also to suggest people don't shop there anymore. Being a student in the College of Legal Studies at Kaplan University, I feel his civil rights have been violated as well as him being a minor and assumed Spanish but because of his background was discriminated against. This was his very first job, so it really sucks he went to such an awful place for employment, but the one who misses out is Wal-Mart. My son is a genius with computers, and is gifted as named by the schools for some extremely high scores (100%) on state tests; probably one of the hardest workers, biggest team player, and the least likely to steal. I don't think that Wal-Mart could have had a better employee, but now I know why they are always short on staff, who are overworked and treat customers like they are a burden, and have to lock everything up so no one can buy it, instead of a staff that is friendly and can help customers with questions, much less releasing the merchandise into a good paying customer's hands.
I can't tell you how much money they have lost because of the lock down of merchandise. Anyways, I don't shop at Wal-Mart anymore and I feel Americans should boycott a store that violates the civil rights of the American people especially its youth. When you are 16 years old, you can't have much of a background. Are they kidding me?
Part of the reason he was not hired was because even if they did not do a criminal background check they still would not hire him since the undercover security who arrested him for shoplifting 11months ago was transferred to this store he was applying at. He was honest about this and put his arrest for shoplifting at that other Walmart, and he wrote about his shoplifting at Kmart which was 12 months ago. However it was not his fault, his friends used peer pressure on him and they forced him to steal. They threatened him if he did not. They mocked him, and belittled him.

This happend to me today, I got the job and I was waiting on a call for orientation, but the call never came, I got a review of my background check and it was clean, which is weird because I have a A misdemeanor, but because I was HONEST and put down that I did have a record their "policy" says I lied and somehow I cannot work there, IDK if a diversion program happend or what if so I wasn't informed of it and SHOULD have been, anyway its pretty dumb that because I was honest, I didn't get this job because my record is clean, I don't see how that is grounds for not hiring someone a clean record is better then something on it, WTF Walmart, just keep losing good honest workers over your stupid policy and lazy HR people. The system is broken.
I worked for Walmart seasonal for Christmas 2014 and 2015. I had a background check done both times and passed. Now 4 months later I accept a permanent position and have to do another background check. The third. I don't get a call and after a week I go to the store and talk to the HR lady. She tells me my background check is still pending. She calls them and they tell her I will receive a letter in the mail. I finally get the letter and it shows a bounced check from 2000. Why did this not come up the first two times? Plus your really not going to hire someone who bounced a check 16 yrs ago? Get real Walmart! Who goes back 16 yrs on a background check for a stocker anyway. You would think I was going to be the store manager or something. I know of people that work at Walmart that have drug convection and they get hired. Go figure!
Walmart didn't hire him because he is underage. It has been policy for quite a few years that you must be 18 years old to work there. I know back in 1999 and 2000 they did hire 16 and 17 year olds but it became a problem because in some states there are rules as to how many hours and what hours a minor can work a week because of school. Another thing is that a minor is not permitted to operate power equipment such as slicers, balers, floor polishers etc.
It's been 14 days and I'm still waiting on my background check to clear. I call and ask for the hr department and she's busy or not around. I did speak with her once and again they are still waiting on background check. I was interviewed only once and sent for drug test in one day. I know I passed the drug test and as for the background check I was honest. I do have two dui convictions from feb/ march 2012 back to back. It was a bad year and I went through a divorce custody battle for my son. Anyway I was honest about it on the application. I'm not sure if that's why it's taking so long or if they are just avoiding me but I need the job.
I have also applyed to walmart, And I receive a call for an interveiw and once I was there I was interveiwed by 3 managers and they had told me that they decided to hire me and i went over to file out the paper work on the computer employee agreement of hiring. I went straight from walmart in wooster and done my drug screen and walmart sent my background to be check 3 weeks later they told me I failed to pass my criminal background which I thought was odd because I could passes a FBI, CIA, and Dea background check. so yesterday I got a call from walmart in masslion ohio for a job interveiw and I explianed to the women on the phone what was going on she gave me the number for the company whom done my background check I found out I did Pass my criminal background and drug screening but I was still red flag for no reason!
from what i gather, obvious troll is obvious
iM NOT WRITING A FREAKIN PAPER. i know how to spell and capital letters have nothing to do with spelling you dumb ###. I dont have to type perfect sentences online for a conversation. and u obviously dont know what ur doin u hypocrite now get a life instead of worrying bout my sentences or get with the times and u will realize almost EVERYONE does this online and on phones to make typing and texting easier and quicker
btw walmart wont hire shoplifters
I had something similar happen. I applied to walmart and was called in for an interview. I get there and the manager to interview me was no where to be found. i finally found an employee to find the manager. 15 min later, the manager finally shows up and interviews me. It went ok. then she told me I had a second interview with the assistant manager. she goes to get him, im waiting 20 more minutes. then she comes back, and we both wait 10 more min till he shows up. Then he walks by saying he will be with us in a minute. 15 more minutes before he finally comes and sits down. the employees were all running around like chickens with their heads cut off. he leaves several times through the interview for 10 minute intervals. after 2 hrs of this, he tells me im hired and i need to take the drug test within 24 hrs (which i did immediately after) and i would get a call within 24-48 hrs about orientation. 3 days later the call never came. I called to ask about it and the manager i spoke to didnt even let me explain that he said i was hired and did everything before she said "that means u werent hired" and hung up. I have no history with any issues with the law or doing anything wrong. i know my background was clean and this was completely unneccessary rude not to mention a waste of my time money and gas that i now cant make up.
Okay your son just turned 16 and he already has not one but several encounters with the police? That should be your first indication that you need to step up and shape him up. But like many other teenagers who are arrested, the parents act like their children are innocent. If your son was threatened into stealing than when he informed you about this you should have contacted the police. Seriously if your friends are going to pressure him into doing things he knows is wrong and then going to threaten him if he does not than he needs to find new friends. Also if he was not honest with his past history, someone who knows him would eventually tell the store of his past history an he would have been fired anyway for not being honest about his past. Instead of making excuses for him discipline him for his behavior.
stark fl walmart manament suck!!
my Son worked for walmart where he worked with a man that harassed him all the time, after the loss of his Grandmother this man came up to him and said why is it taking so long for the burial?" I'm sure shes about ripe and is green and has maggots in her eyeballs by now, my son walked away at that point.latter reporting this man once again and asking to be transferd to another part of the store was told he would be.things got so bad that this man would get in my sons face and say things like why didn't you do your F#%&$#% job after months of being bullied by this man he felt that he had no other choice but to quit his job.the man is still trying to cause trouble for my son by.management did NOTHING to stop this I later found out that one of the managers that this was reported to Is sleeping with a young girls that my son was talking to that worked there.
Well yr right about one thing third part reviews are useless, as far as my sons upbringing goes he was raised by both of his parents (that would mean myself and his father) of whom i have been married to all of my sons life, we have never been on welfare or never lived in a trailer park, oh and my husband has always provided for his family...not that i think those things make you a bad person .i can see how someone like you would say this maybe this is how you were raised or how you raised you're (son) maybe this man has always treated ppl badly just because it makes his feel like a"real man" after all he's 57 years old and working as an part time associates at walmart. .

almost kicked out of your store.
I went to one of your stores and I was weighting in line, I had to wait 2 whole minutes!. One of the items I wanted scanned at the wrong price so I called the cashier a dummy|. The cashier refused to serve me;. I told him to call the manager". The cashier informed the manager that I called him a dummy!. He asked me if this were true and I said no, . Then he asked the customer behind me if this were true and the customer said yeah he heard me call the cashier a dummy, . The manager told me to leave the store. I then apologized to the cashier and he said that since I lied to him I had to leave the store. I told him that my husband wanted me to pick some groceries for him because he had a craving. He told me tough, there is a grocery store in the same plaza and I could pick up my stuff there. I also informed him that my husband works at Home Office and the reason that I was shopping here was because we get a discount. They person behind me told me to just leave the store and said that I was being rude. I wanted to slap her and I would have too if she did not have her three sons probably (9) and (12)(12) with her. After arguing with him for five more minutes he said if I apologize that I could still shop at his store. I apologized to the cashier The manager then asked the cashier if he wanted to cash me out. The cashier said no. The manager asked me to get into another line. I told him that he said I could shop in the store as long as I apologized to the cashier which I did. He said he is not breaking any promises and told me that if the cashier did not want to serve me he is not going to force the cashier to do so. I told him I am not waiting another three minutes. He told me I either get in another line or get out of the store. At which point the lady behind me made another rude comment about me to another customer and the other customer agreed that I was rude. My husband who works at Home Office will be hearing about this.

For what purpose is she trolling?
This is an obvious troll
Mrslea, If you did that with me behind you, you would end up in a body bag.
Insulting cashier, then lying about it...
Hmmm...this should probably be forwarded to Wal-Mart HO, for if they do make a complaint, as it's bound to be an even more twisted, confusing saga.
not my job to take my bags off the caurosel.
Last few times I've been into Walmart, I have been the one pulling my groceries and other purchases off the caurosel. It is the cashier's job to put customer's bags into their cart to prevent the customer from leaving the store w/o some of his or her purchases. The same cashier too each time, Michelle, at the newer Walmart in Rogers, AR at Pleasant Crossing. I scolded her for it, but I did not tell management. I will next time, and I will tell my husband also.
My husband said it is not her job to give me my purchases and we had a huge fight thanks to her.

Deezil: I've worked customer service. There are people in this world that are legitimately like that.
MrsLea, after reading a number of your complaints, I cannot decide if you are just overly whiny, poorly socialized with an over-inflated sense of entitlement (who should voluntarily become a shut-in for the rest of our sakes), or a fake account. I'm leaning more towards the latter--I find it hard to believe you could want to share this many ###ic tales with the rest of the world and yet be so oblivious of your own self-centeredness.
vision center
All I can say is that Walmart should hire real eye Dr's for their Vision Centers. I have been back and forth with the IDIOT at WalMart in Pittsburg, KS. He acts like he knows everything and I don't have a clue about how my contacts and glasses are affecting me. I have been back 3 times in 1 month to let him know that my new glasses not only do not fit correctly but more important are making my eyesight worseand not better. My contacts are killing me, his solution...wear them a little longer, then come back and let me know. I know I should have known better, but they rope you in with all of the advertising and marketing to make you feel like you are making the right decision by trusting these so called eye doctors. Never again!, in fact I'm never going to spend another dime at Walmart for anything, not even a pack of gum. I understand that complaining against Walmart is like fighting City Hall, but hey, a movement has to start somewhere, right?

I went to Walmart with the intention of buying watch batteries for several watches I own. The employee at the counter took each of the five watches lifted them up and stated: this is not from here x5 and said she could not help me. We cannot open your watches and cannot allow you to use our tools. I never asked to use the tools. I picked up my watches and...
Read full review of Walmart and 7 commentsmad mother
I was at Walmart on Friday evening just running some errands and was waiting on my friend to finish her check out. I was waiting on the side and was just surfing on my phone all of a sudden a girl came running towards me crying and screaming. There were two hug racks behind me with gardening items and there was little space between two space and the girl started climbing up the rack crying and scream and her dad was right behind her and looking at his face he looked really mad and he tried to pull her down. I pushed my card on the side, moved to corner and like everyone else in was looking at the girl and was shocked with her behavior. All of a sudden girls mother came with two little girl and she was standing in check out line, I guess I had a really weird look on my face at the time. Mother screamed out loud "does anyone has any problem with a child with bipolar disorder" ! I wasn't aware she was telling me I looked at her and looked back down still surfing on my phone trying to avoid whatever was happening. Mother got louder and said "Do you have any problem as you rolled your eyes at me" at this point I was annoyed but I didn't say anything all of a sudden she walked to my face and still being loud she said " Do you have any problem, mind your own ###" ! and all I said to her was " I am not talking to you " she still kept going on about her child having disorder. There were about 20 people standing there and after the mother stopped yelling at me one guy asked the father if he need help. I just don't understand what I did wrong? I was just standing there minding my own business and staying out of their way and still got yelled, I was unaware of girls situation but i don't think i should be yelled. The manager was standing right there and just looked instead of doing anything.
I feel bad for not apologizing, if they though i did anything wrong. I think the mother was embarrassed and just want to be mad at someone to take out her frustration.
Yes there is little brenda.
ripoff walmart money card visa
Today is just not my day... I used to like wallmart all the way. But I gotta tell you all in the us: never, ever purchase an walmart money card! Ever! I did purchase 3 between yesterday night and today with them, and none I was able to activate. And the refund? Only comes in the mail (if it comes) in 10 business days! Nightmare!
Even calling their corporate didn't help.
And people still says that "the customer is always right"... Uh?
Really?
Not at walmart!

Why weren't you able to activate? I got the card and have never had trouble with it.
declined for exact amount remaining
i had exactly 20.12 and had an purchase for exact 20.12 and it declined. i was hoping to get down to zero so that i could close the card and it doesnt work that way. They are cheating in hope to countine the money card bunsiess, and according to their policy, they dont give credit (sending check for the amount) for closing.

15th complaint (another terrible store)
Since I keep having trouble at the Springdale store I decided to go to the next closest store. I went to the Roger's store instead. The employee I asked for help with completely ignored me when I asked her to find some Lysol. Yeah she was stocking the shelves. I had to repeat myself five times and she still ignored me. Finally I tapped her on the shoulder and she acknowledged me and told me where I can find the Lysol. I complained to the manager about this and he told me that she was hearing impaired. Well if she is deaf why did you hire her in the first place. Hiring her can be both dangerous to customers as well as herself if she cannot hear. I told the manager that there are many people who applied for her job and he had to hire the one who is dumb. He told me that she is a hard worker, and all I have to do to get her attention is tap her shoulder. This is easy for him to say, but if a man tapped her shoulder they risk being accused of sexual harassment so they won't tap her shoulder and just think she is some ### unwilling to help. I told them that I would be telling my husband about their poor hiring practices. I went home and informed my husband about this lady they hired. If he had been on the hiring committee she would never have been hired.

Irene S and the troll Mslea need a good old fashion beatdown, I would just love to make them impaired. A pistol to the ears would do the trick. That way they can become hearing impaired as well. I hope Irene S and Mslea drink themselves some chlorine bleach, and become blind! Maybe a chemical explosion can happen, in which they both lose their eyesight!
To GEOMMM: as with all the rest of us, you got suckered in. Otherwise you wouldn't have posted anything at all. You could have just ignored the post and moved on. But instead you chose to comment on the post, albeit, a warning that its most likely fake post just to get a rise out of someone. But if you placed a comment, as myself, you got suckered in. HA HA
I find both the letter and the comment by Irene S to be highly offensive. Being deaf does not mean you are unable to work and be productive in the world. The woman would not sue for sexual harassment if she was tapped on the shoulder. That is ridiculous.
Disabilities come in all shapes and sizes. Some have physical or emotional disabilities. Then there are those who have disabled themselves by being self-righteous haters who think the world revolves around them and that others are put here to hinder their fabulous fabulous life. These are the people I feel sorry for. They have too much hatred in them to see how wonderful the world truly is and the beauty and uniqueness of each person on the earth.
I myself am disabled and find the review and the comment by Irene S offensive. As long as she has the qualifications and can do the job that she is required to do why have a problem?
You are right she should not be working. Why do they insist on hiring employees with disabilities. Usually their greeters have mental problems and are ###ed in my area. Don't hire rejects just to make yourselves look good.
inhumane treatment of loyal customer
When a disabled person, who was driven to Walmart after a 3 week period of not leaving his house is arrested and separated from his $230.00 worth of groceries and his wife and his medication(because they are narcotics) all because he misplaced a baseball, and it didn't get scanned at the register. Loss prevention was waiting for him at the door and took him straight to jail. He paid the $550.00 to get out of jail, but not but not before being handcuffed on a metal seat for the 20 mile trip to the jail with no way to stretch out my legs, which began to spasm. Although the sheriff's dept. was in possession of my prescriptions, they would not dispense them to me, and put me in the rubber room at the jail. He was in so much pain and the atmosphere only exasperated the issue. The dropout jailer dude would only tell Him that he was no doctor so he couldn't give him his (already prescribed) medication. He was only guilty of putting the baseball in his pocket long enough to answer the phone, but the content of the phone call distracted him so much that he had no recollection of placing the baseball in his pocket. He had 3 other items in his hand and those products did make it into the cart, and past the cash register. The main complaint is the lack of humanity on the part of the system, from the brainwashed employees of Walmart that think it is okay to haul disabled people to jail when it could have been cleared up right there on the spot, it was clearly a misunderstanding, and should have been handled as such. The complacency of the police dept. for allowing this arrest to occur, when they could have easily just allowed him to pay for the baseball and go home with his wife and groceries. The demand for money on the part of the legal community in my area, $1, 500.00 to handle the case. He was told that one particular lawyer had 20 walmart theft cases already this year...at $1, 500.00 a pop! Well, he went to talk to the prosecutor himself and got a pre-trial diversion, for $374.00. He was also required to attend a drug abuse evaluation which will cost something I'm sure. Here is a list of all the charges, I'll copy each one from the receipt given to him, except the booking charge, which was taken out of the $32.00 he had in his pocket when he was booked in, without his knowledge or whatnot, but it's not conversion if they do it. State Court cost: $84.00, County Court Cost: $32.40, City Court cost: $3.60, Automated record keeping $4.00, Clerk Record Perpetuation: $1.00, Public Defense Administration Fee: $5.00, Judicial Insurance Fee: $1.00, Judicial Salaries Fee: $19.00, Court Administration Fee: $5.00, DNA Sample Processing Fee: $2.00, Document Storage Fee: $2.00, Criminal-Diversion Fee: $170.00, 10% Cash Bond Administration Fee: $45.00. So there is my complaint. This system is just out to strip as much money from anyone caught up in it. I pray you all well...may you avoid getting wrapped up in a criminal case..it can be expensive, guilty or not. BTW, the loss prevention lady said that she was cutting him a break because she wasn't going to give a no trespass order to him. He is allowed to come back to their store, I don't think this is common practice, unless they know they are arresting someone just because they made a mistake, justifying their whole career I guess. It makes me sick to my stomach to talk about this subject, but I leave you with this...I nor him will EVER set one foot on their property again. Don't shop there, they don't care about you or your community, buy local. That is our lesson learned
No nothing more to the story, it's exactly as said. Got a pre-trial diversion, after the tape was looked into by the prosecutor, who thinks it was an accident too, btw. It ended up costing about 1, 500.00 and a whole lot of humble pie. Accidents happen, and our system is set up to exploit any and all persons possible. No one is immune to this. If one more person is more careful while shopping, then, job done.
I complained, which is just exactly what I wanted to do. I never said that the law wasn't broken, technically, but there is still some question as to whether it happened knowingly, OR intentionally. There was an admission to misplacing the baseball, my complaint is the lack of humanity given to individual situations. Not everything is as cut and dry as you "stop reading" peeps would like to think. Not every situation deserves to be resolved with an arrest, regardless of the law. The goal should be conflict resolution with an arrest being of last resort. The issuance of an order to appear would be appropriate if an arrest is found to be warranted in some situations. Not every item taken beyond the final point of payment is a stolen item, accidents happen. A system that worked would ask questions and act according to the facts, and stop putting non-violent petty misdemeanor cases in jail. Once again, I complained, and that was my goal. Someone, somewhere, just might read this and be more aware of their surroundings, and don't expect compassion from those with power. Know your place, and adhere to the letter of the law. Shop local, and if you accidentally put a baseball in your walker pocket, instead of your shopping cart the cashier will let you know, and allow you to make the purchase as you intended.

A pretrial diversion is NOT an 'you are innocent let's bypass the court system and you are right' situation. A pretrial diversion is a probationary program you have to complete to keep your butt out of jail. You basically admit your guilt, take your punishment and go out in the world to steal again.
Knowingly or accidentally, when you steal and get caught, you accept the consequences of your actions. No one did anything wrong here but your husband.
I dont understand. CNN showed some illegal kids graduating from college complaining that this is nice, but not enough.
Damn brats are so smart and just want a chance, but they cant figure out how to apply for citizenship? The second they turned 18 it should have been a requirement. Instead, , we send them to college and give then medical coverage.
Oh, and I am still paying off my student loans even though I have been out of school damn near two decades. Many of these kids are getting a free ride.
I just want to know why people cant follow proper channels and why they are rewarded for cheating the system.
Mostly what I want is that damn fool out of office. NOW.
Deezil,
What is wrong with me liking dick? You are afraid that if you get a taste you will be turned out. Come on down to the beach. I got something long and hard for you to suck. If your ### comments are meant to hurt my feelings you suck at that. Why don't you come and suck my dick maybe you can do a better job of that.
When you said you were disabled I stopped caring. Who cares? No one that's who. Tell the story and leave out all the extra crap you use to get us to feel sorry for you.
I just called that Walmart and was informed that the OP (Michelle Connery's son) was arrested for the fourth time shoplifting at Walmart.
About six years ago, his mother wrote a review on my3cents about a security guard being too rough on her son, when he caught him munching on a candybar without paying for it. Here's the link

haven't read enough of trmn8r's comments to offer an opinion, but Tasha has had 8 profiles (Tasha1, Tasha2, Tasha3, etc) and she is definitely a troll
Well let me start - Trmn8r is a troll who stalks the boards trying to be superior to others and calls out other trolls.
Ahh there - finally - a member with the guts to call you out on your trolling.
Here's a question - doesn't your constant following and commenting on Tasha's trolling constitute trolling as well? I mean, maybe I am wrong - but what are you doing that is so different from those you choose to label?
Interesting story. One detail that was not initially made clear is that the baseball was placed into the pocket of his walker and not his trousers. That is an important detail, though it is not a critical point since it's a lot easier to forget inthe walker than stuffed into a pants leg. I, too, have once or thrice placed items temporarily into my pocket while in a store. This has particularly been true when it was winter and I was overbulked with clothes and there was no place to temporarily place down one of the items that filled my hands so that I could pick up and inspect a new one, and my pockets were large and open. I've been taught that the floor is a dirty place to place, so I obviously was looking for a clean alternative. This was most likely to happen when I had an item in hand that was not easy to just set down and expect it to stay (such as a tippy object or, say, a baseball). I put the first item into my pocket, picked up the new one to inspect it, and then squeezed the new one back onto the full shelf. And then I took the first item out of my pocket again. No big deal. Whether the original poster is a thief or not, just by reading their prose it's clear they are not the clearest thinkers or have the strongest memory, and I can see how it's posible they really DID forget that there was a baseball at the bottom of the kangaroo pouch attached to their walker. Unsaid in all of this is that we consider the intent of an action as well as the action itself when we decide what to call it. We don't know what was in the man's mind when he put the ball into his pocket. In fact, there's a lot we don't know about the incident and we're all just filling in the blanks from our own history and prejudices. So this was either an accident or a theft, and it appears to me that what YOU call it has as much to say about YOU as it does the original poster. Think about that a little.
if you value your eye sight, stay away
Dr. Broca at Walmart vision misdiagnosed my eyes and became outraged when told. The court in Kingman misplaced my compliant several times to prevent me from having my small claim heard. Intelligent Dr. Broca hired an attorney and moved the case to the supreme court. I was asking the court for the return of $300. spent on correcting this doctor's mistake. She preferred to paid an attorney than do the right thing. She refused to re-exam my eyes.
In court she was loud, name calling, refusing to answer the questions that I asked of her. She snatched papers out of my hand, all while on the witness stand. I acted as my own attorney. Judge Jill Davis, out of Lake Havasu was asked to here the case in Kingman because after the run around to get my case heard I didn't trust the Kingman's Judges to be fair.
Dr. Broca changed the trial from small claims court, to the supreme court. I asked for a jury trial. First, I was told yes to the jury trial and then no. During the trial, the judge allowed the doctor to do and say whatever she wanted to. I tired of the situation and ask the judge to do something. Then, she asked the attorney to take his client out the court room and talk with her.
No decision was made that day, I received a letter stating that the case is ordered to be dismissed. No explanation. Over a year working on this case for it to be dismissed without a word, as to why. That justice!

I was employed ay Macys in a big ticket dept. Certegy NEVER ever approved a check. Saying the customer doesn't have a history with them, If they never approve how can you get a history. They are a severe threat to these businesses. They insult the customer that could put it on credit but prefers to check it. At Macys you could not use debit because they pended (held) your money on the purchase day then on the delivery day rang the purchase. It took 24 to 72 hrs to release original pend. So double the amount of the purchase was attach to your furniture purchase. This caused a lot of issues with insuffcient funds. A huge nightmare..
