I initially started a process as Personal Representative for my mother’s account with all legal papers recorded and filed with the court. My Mom passed in 2020. It took them over 3 years to complete the transfer and declined my legal documents. They finally decided last year to transfer the remaining funds to my sister. Now my sister has asked for the funds to be transferred to another fiduciary and it’s been well over 2 months (probably more) and the transfer still hasn’t taken place. They told her they had received the documents and that’s it. Isn’t there an insurance commission that looks at the transaction time for a straightforward transfer?
Claimed loss: The amount of loss on the first portion of my complaint was a lot. The money was placed in a cash account and gained little interest during that time. 3 years of interest!
Desired outcome: To get the money transferred as my sister has requested immediately.
