Whirlpool dishwasher
We bought this appliance at Home Depot in January of 2019. $800.00 installed. Since then, whirlpool replaced the electronic panel under warranty. Then in October of 2021 the glides for the top shelf disintegrated and we paid $300.00 to replace that part. And today we learn that there is an "O" ring from the drain that is leaking and dumping about a gallon of water on the floor with every load. We are told that the repair would cost us $500.00, which I am NOT going to spend.
I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING MADE BY WHIRLPOOL AGAIN. I WILL MAKE SURE THAT EVERYONE I KNOW LEARNS OF THIS FIASCO.
Desired outcome: This is a lomon. I would like compensation or relpacement.
Refrigerator
Fail after only 5 years!
We purchased a brand new refrigerator in February of 2017 as was recommended by a dealer that made a good pitch saying whirlpool is made in US and owns a couple other reputable appliance companies.
The fridge was always off on temperature by a couple degrees from what we set it on the front panel and wasn't even in cooling. But now we just went from not cooling to freezing everything and back to 55 degrees in the refrigerator over a period of 2 weeks. We've had a certified whirlpool appliance service tech out and paid over $450 in service fees. They are at a point where we can either purchase another $200+ part that "might or might not fix it per whirlpool service dept" or purchasing a new refrigerator.
It is mind boggling that only 5 years of single family use it has failed in such fashion. We've sent an email to whirlpool as well as trying to call them and there hasn't been any answers. I would definitely recommend to stay away from this brand and company in general due to lack of customer service and poor quality product.

Top load washing machine MVWC565FW2 (Maytag) Whirlpool
Washer does not fill on "deep water" setting. To get more water you need to open and close the lid about 20 times. Each time the lid is lifted and closed it will let water run in for approximately 4 seconds and then stops thus having to open and close to eventually get enough water.
If the deep water setting is not used, the cloths don't get clean plus then lint has to be removed using a lint brush.
If you lift the lid even for a few minutes to add more cloths or something the tub will drain; losing the water and soap. Then you to start all over.
The only thing that came with the machine is a quick start guide and a installation guide but of coarse you can't use that because if you do your warranty is null and void. I've called customer service 4 times. The third they sent out a repair man who said when he was here that he didn't know what was wrong but it did not seem to be working right. after another call to customer service the agent said the repair man said it was working properly. The very first call to Maytag, they said there is a detailed Owners Manual that describes how all the setting work and she would send it out. That was over 2 months ago. Still have not received it. Customer service says if they send out another repair man I will be billed for it, even though the machine is 3 months old and under warranty.
I have a machine that is clearly malfunctioning and the maker is trying not to do anything about fixing it.
Can you please help me to get this issue resolved.

brand new oven does not work
Our appliances were delivered during kitchen renovation. Once we were ready to plug them in, we immediately got a ERROR message on the oven -- F3 E0.
I have tried for two weeks to call customer service and been on hold forever to never talk to anyone. I asked to be called back and no one called me back!

I have always purchased Whirlpool appliances. The last purchase was a dehumidifier a little over a year ago (can't find the receipt).

The unit sounds normal, runs all the time, but not taking moisture out of the air.
The air filter was checked and cleaned several times with no improvement.
I have the humidity set at 50% and the humidity in the room is about 65%.
I have no error codes, no sounds like ice build up, and no leaks. The unit does not blow fuses or smell hot.
Appreciate any help in resolving or replacing.

I have had bought extended warranty, since we bought this unit new, it has been serviced 5 times, 4 times, same issue and it's still same issue and getting worse. last time I contact whirlpool, they told me i was 1 week out of warranty and they would not do anything about it. I paid a lot of money for this side by side refrigerator and the ice in in the ice bin is freezing up in one block of ice, can't use ice dispenser or open door and get ice, I need to know why whirlpool will not do anything about it.

I recently bought refrigerator model 25 MSSAT also known as WRS315SDHZ and had problems from the beginning. The product manual described 4 different kinds of ice makers. After a couple of hours on hold, I got the ice maker to function for several months. Then I saw an indicator that I needed to change the water filter. The manual described 2 different alternative filter locations, I finally figured out where my filter was located and I changed it out. Now, the ice maker no longer works, the freezer is not cold enough to keep food frozen safely and the refrigerator is too warm to store food safely. I filed a warranty claim a few weeks ago and have been waiting two weeks for a warranty rep to show up. I am left with a non working refrigerator and freezer.
Desired outcome: Fix it or haul to the dump and refund my money.

30" Wide Top-Freezer Refrigerator Model: WRT148FZDW
BUYER BEWARE! Worst large purchase experience ever on Whirlpool.com! Whirlpool Customer Service could market their skills for psychological torture to the military! I had a perfectly working 17 year old refrigerator. I purchased a new one as I deal with severe health & energy issues & wanted to avoid any problem. What I got instead was MY $900 NIGHTMARE! Person who installed my refrigerator argued about reversing the doors (part of what I paid for & required in my tiny galley kitchen). I insisted to he completely ruined my refrigerator & left the refrigerator door so damaged it is only partly sealed. I made 4 calls to Customer Service, then Repair Service, then back to Customer Service on Friday. There was no help whatsoever from the screen readers. I was told if I have the door repaired then I can't return & replace it even though it has a large blackened scratch on the interior. However, for the return/reorder the item was backordered & could take 4-6 weeks! Then everything was closed for the weekend & I was left with my unsafe food. After hours of getting no help at all I was sick and in tears all weekend. I called the delivery company directly myself yesterday and they sent someone out to try & adjust the door. The installer f*cked it up so much it cannot be adjusted or corrected at all. He told me he would document & I needed a new refrigerator immediately. I received an email from their website Saturday that the refrigerator is back in stock. Five or more phone calls today to Whirlpool to try to expedite the delivery since MY REFRIGERATOR DOOR DOESN'T FULLY SEAL. Still unresolved at this point; 5 days since received. I have been a loyal Whirlpool customer for over 30 years. NEVER AGAIN!

Dryer threw an F9E2 Code in the beginning of Jan 2022. Took the appliance service provider 2/3 weeks to get out to me. Dryer was purchased and delivered Mid May 2021 so was under manufacturer's warranty. It took them 4/6 weeks to get the parts (Pump & Control Board) and another 2 weeks to install. Dryer was then still not working, and parts ordered again (Thermistor & sensor). Called them to schedule for service again because dryer will only damp dry (basically wet) one king size top sheet and then just quit heating. Next attempt to dry - dryer can run for 3 hours and the sensor states items are still WET. They state this is normal... it is not and all I want is a replacement standard regular dryer - not another $1600 heat pump dryer. The Whirlpool tech told the service provider to tell me to wash and spin my clothes on highest spin possible and that this is normal. I disagree and now my warranty from manufacture has passed it's one year period. I have requested service once again stating that this problem started during the one-year warranty and they should honor that. Still as of May 22, 2022 Dryer is not working as it should.

Bought a freezer April 2021. Freezer stopped working fed 2022. Lost over 400.00 dollars worth of food. Reach out to whirlpool. They send a conpany out march. Tech orders part and and weeks later another tech comes to put in. Come to find out wrong part ordered. Here it is May and no eta on part. So contact whirlpool again and told a new freezer with warranty will be delivered in 2 weeks. Here we are going into week 3 and nothing about freezer. I spent way over 500.00 on this freezer, lost 400 in food and 4 months of run around! I will never buy whirlpool again! Company is horrible for customer service! 😕

My mother purchased a whirlpool side by side, model number WRS588FIHV00, serial number HR72812080 on October 21 2017. She has always bought whirlpool and never had a problem. She is 86 years old and was hoping this is the last refrigerator she had to buy. Two to three weeks ago the ice maker quit working so we called a repairman to come out and fix it. He was not able to fix it. He said it’s a design problem. The wires in the bottom freezer door are broken and he said eventually the rest of the refrigerator would break down too! He said he had been to several clients homes with the same problem, then I started googling about it and there are multiple complaints about this happening to the side to sides by whirlpool. I called customer service and she wasn’t very helpful. She said we would have to pay for a whirlpool repairman to come out which could take up to 12 weeks and then she didn’t know if it could be fixed. Then I asked her if we have to buy a new one (which we don’t want to do) has whirlpool fixed the design> She said she has no idea. This refrigerator is only 4 years old amd should last way longer . Both my neighbor and I got the Whirlpool Model WMC 50522 when we purchased our new homes here in Florida.
Both of our units blew up. Ours went on high when you closed the door and nothing would turn it off other than opening the door.
Same with my neighbor’s unit.
Both were out of warranty – one year is pretty short – so we had to buy new units from you so as to use the existing mounts and surrounds.
You must be aware of problems with this model.

Purchased the oven January 30, 2021 for around $1,900; first repair was March 2021; broke February 2022; and now I am forced to take a buyout of $1,400 from the extended warranty because the oven, which is still in circulation and selling, can not be fixed. There is no replacement board with the software for the oven to operate. The oven is now $2,300.

New cabrio delivered hose flew off of washer to drain tub flooded floor.. Called delivery guys came back in 30 ininutes said they fixed. Put in a load flooded from bottom of washer... I called delivery and told them I have to order another brand.. Gave me a number for case claim and women today said to call you they said manufacture problem with clamp; on hose and also washer itself for two floodings!

I purchased a new Whirpool refrigerator 4/28/22 ($1700 from Lowes) that advertised air filtration system. When I installed according to the manual and start-up it stated install the filter. It was not included. I called Whirlpool to request a filter. Whirpool stated I had to buy. Customer care is very rude and slow. They do not care about customers and they are misleading about their refrigerators. Do not buy them.
Desired outcome: Whirpool needs to provide a free filter per the advertising/manual/install or stop misleading customers that they have an air filtration system.
