I’m not gonna go into any great detail about the refrigerator and the appliances because it seems like everybody in this group is saying the same thing I purchased almost $8000 worth of appliances when I renovated my kitchen the refrigerator has been fixed over 10 times and still waiting for another part, these appliance orders are less than four years old. The dishwasher is been fixed once the garbage disposal’s been fixed. The range is on its 6/7 repair and repair that I have to make now to the control panel original first choice is a $400 repair. If that doesn’t work it’s gonna be over $800 which is over 50% of the cost of the range. I have been fighting with whirlpool and KitchenAid for almost 3 years. They don’t care at all. Their customer service is horrible and I’ve been told on two occasions even after I reported reported them to the BBB that I would get a phone call within three days. I’ve heard that twice and I haven’t gotten a phone call. Stay away from whirlpool and stay away from Kitchenaide. They’re horrible, horrible, horrible and they absolutely don’t care about their customers. I borrowed money against my retirement to upgrade these appliances so I wouldn’t be going through this problem now I wish I had just gone to Home Depot and bought appliances. I’ve reported whirlpool Kitchenaide to the Florida Department of consumer affairs. I reported them to the Better Business Bureau I just recently spoken to an attorney about taking them to court to get compensation for all my pain and suffering and aggravation I put up with I’m about to do a huge social media bled through yelp and any other review place. I can find these people are horrible horrible, horrible people.
Desired outcome: I want working appliances that I paid 8k for.
We are also dealing with cesspool appliances' BS (freezer = 2 warrenty repairs and now dead, out of warranty) ... did your attorney mention class action? We did a similar dance with LG recently. LG has had 2 class action lawsuits filed against them for failing refrigerators. Maybe its time that Swhirlpool got a taste ...
