big grill
I purchased a big Grill take away on the 22cnd of June 2018 at Tahero service station 528 corlett drive Witpoortjie .
Kindly be advised the chicken did not look grilled instead it was just boiled n then they added bbq sauce on top .
I returned the meal to the restaurant n asked them to redo it for my chicken was dry n was not grilled, staff caused a scene started shouting n giving me attitude I remained calm n patiently waited for them to start the meal from scratch .
When I got my meal the second time chicken still didn't looked grilled n at the end of the day I was not satisfied N customer service was not so great .
Please be advised I've been a regular customer of this wimpy n ive never experienced such bad service but as of today I won't bother purchasing my meals there for its clear the staff is rude n the chef doesn't know wat his doing .

I was at Table bay mall wimpy this morning. You are falsely advertising as your picture looks nothing like the real thing. Very disappointing!
I will not reccomend it to anyone. And the waitron explained that they are told to make it 50 grams...well then stop advertising it that way. Its not acceptable. I was very hungry when I got there and the photo makes it look so appetizing...

Whilst visiting one of your restaurants at south end on sea (marine parade) on Saturday the 16/6/18 at about 16:30 pm, my family and i were unfortunate enough to witness behaviour that endangered themselves, staff and the general public ( A breach of the works and safety Act 1974). Who i believe to be the manager on that particular day, demanded two females who were talking with other staff members to leave the shop for being abusive towards him. When they refused the manager tried to force one of the young ladies out of the shop (offence against the person Act 1997) A fight broke out between the manager and the two young ladies with punches being thrown in both directions, a chair was also picked up by one of the young ladies and thrown towards the manager which came dangerously close to shattering the main front window.
The effect of these actions caused considerable concern and shock ( children began to cry, adults and staff became concerned for their safety) it was very distressing. I don't think my daughter will want to visit a Wimpy restaurant again as she will not forget the memory of the day and the shocking events.
The people involved, the two females and the manager where themselves left with emotional stress and physical wounds. I hope the whole thing does not turn into some sort of revenge attack from the people involved.
For the reputation of the restaurants i would like to see conflict issues between staff and customers handled professionally and handled in such a way that members of the public are not put at risk (the whole thing could of been a 999 issue)

We ordered food at wimpy ermelo today per telephone for take away.
After placing our order the lady that answered the phone said they don't have the beef burger special anymore (burger and milkshake for r49.90), she said they only have chicken burgers (r60.00 according to her), after which we said it's fine we will take the chicken burgers instead.
Upon arrival the order was totally wrong. They made the big eat grill (chicken, wors and chips). After confirming that it is not what we ordered the lady at the reception said: I can not take it back and change the order you have to take it.
Totally shocked the food was taken and paid for but also not r60.00 x3 =r180.00.
Only to discover that the meal was r59.90 and the milkshakes r32.90 each. Total cost of r278.40 for food we didn't order!
This is totally unacceptable and we would like a refund if possibble

My sister and I decided to visit one of your franchise yesterday (28 May 2018) in Pretoria located at Sammy Marks to enjoy one of your promos which is a burger with a milkshake.
A lady buy the name of Precious assisted us. My problems were as follows:
1. She was very slow in bringing the food. I understand the place was busy but other people who came after us got food first.
2. When she brought food, she served us plates as if my sister and I didnt order at the same time. My plate came first and my sisters came later.
3. When I received my food (first plate) it had hair on my plate. When I showed her she used her hand to take out the hair. I asked her to take the food back and give me a new plate. She said I'm going to wait long so I might as well eat it. I said no. She took the plate and after +-2 minutes she came back with the same plate.
4. The manager was not visible which made it hard for me to report to the manager.
After such a disgusting service. I'm starting to question the standard of the food being served to customers. I trust that this matter will be resolved and that I would get a positive feedback about this issue.

Wimpy hed office really need to look into this store, there is a big problem with the management, please wimpy this store is going down . Me and my family was looking for a place to have lunch at 24/05/2018 time 15:00 the waiter name Jean place wimpy Cape gate Kraaifontein, if there is a wimpy it will always be wimpy, after this incident I will think twice. I also spoke to the cashier and she confirmed that the store is not doing well with the manager on duty .The service is bad and vide very irritating. I wen to wimpy jabulani where I was told that is I don't buy anything I should not use the store electricity and seat for computers. Thandeka was the one that told me to leave the store and I later phoned james the manager that told me that that is wimpy rules that you have to buy to seat. On my way to Cape Town I bought a Mega coffee at Grape Valley Service Station in De Doorns Wimpie . (Take away) Waiter was Marisa Messais...Table reference 7429..Receipt No 002379 time was 12:22
I was already a few miles away before i started drinking and was very disappointed.
The coffee did not taste anything like coffee...was very, very, very weak. It was like milk and water mix with literally a tiny pinch of coffee...The colour was a very light beige.
I was very, very disapointed. For R29 i expected a rich flavour, drinkable, enjoyable cup of fresh coffee. With this kind of service i doubt it if i will ever buy coffee at Wimpy or recommend it to my friends.

Today at 15: 45pm my sisters and I decided to go and have milkshakes at the Wimpy situated at Trade Route Mall .We seated ourselves at a table and waited 15 mins and realised we were not being served by any of the staff even though they passed us several times.I then requested for someone to please assist us for times .The one gentleman named David spoke to us and asked someone else to serve us and he seated two African ladies and when the lady came and took our order without writing it dow it was 16 :10pm the
African ladies who arrived a while after us ordered food and were already served the time now being 16:20pm and when I looked around I noticed people who arrived after us where already being served so I said let's wait few more mins and see .The time now being 16 40pm and the milkshakes have not yet been served to our table nor has any of the staff enquired if we received service .I stood up and went to ask for the manager and the lady at the front till spoke to me and when I told her of the service I experienced she asked would I prefer a take away and she is sorry this is not right, I replied no it's fine thank you please keep your milkshake as I will never support your Resturant again because this is unacceptable waiting 1 hour for a milkshake and also not being assisted despite asking several times and the staff walked right pass us until I called loudly.
As a loyal customer of Wimpy this behaviour and service has made me think twice about supporting the resturant at Trade Route Mall.

Yesterday morning (19 April 2018), I was treated like I'm invisible, disrespect and undermined. By Chantel (waiter) and Amiena (manager). I ended up only having just a drink and left due to their treatment...
When I came into the restaurant I was not even greeted back, I received a cold silent. Amiena walked me without a word and left me on a table she felt suited me. Not a word again as she left me on the table..10 mins later when I started looking around for anyone to notice me, then Channel came along..

For a few years now I have not been to the Wimpy in Knysna due to very bad service. On 18 April I had time to spare and thought that I should give the Wimpy a try again, as I am sure they have improved.
But only, they have not and this time I thought not to keep quite and actually say something about it. It is of no use to complain to the owner/manager as I see that it did not help the previous time I was there.
I have attached photos of the burger I received. The bun was over toasted/old and as you can see the lettuce was old. That burger does not even look like something you should eat.
The only pleasant part was Mandy the waitress.

Myself and a colleague visited you Wimpy branch in Centurion today .We both ordered your special.Burger chips and a milkshake.
When we received our food both our burger buns had mould on them.I took a photo of my one and attached.
How do you expect us to support Wimpy if this is how you treat two separate clients with the same disgusting issue.

I took my children this afternoon to enjoy a wimpy burger but halfway through I realized the chicken was raw. Ons I started taking it apart the chicken where raw and disgusting. I brought it under the managers attention. I also informed her that if any of my children or me would get sick as a result of this I would take it further by submitting my complaint to the consumer board and health department as this is unacceptable and dangerous.

Started out by poor service, followed by poor food when we got home. Burger patties falling appart which was very salty and the texture of a hash brown which is very very poor quality control! My kids dont even want to eat the burgers. They will not see me again! Pathetic service and pathetic food for this franchise! Aswell as no relish on the burgers, pls get this resoved asap!

Last week I went to wimpy circus triangle mall in mtata to buy boggoff breakfast only to find out that I have to wait for an hour for them to borrow stock on other branches. Today which is 2018/03/02 I went there again with kids and family since its a holiday again they said there's no stock and you as thier head office you are aware about this.
Can you please explain this inconvenience with me how can you advertise something that you don't have ?

Me was bought from the Spar close by The burgers was cold and the patties was still raw there was no onion on the burgers and the store bought bun was as hard as rock. No wonder people are getting all kind of illneses and diseases because of uncooked meats. I took pictures of the pattie and the burger and is definately going to report this to the CGCSA and DOH.

11:25 we were served with 2 plates of chips.
Due to some sort of problem with the ice cream machine the milkshake couldnt be prepared.
This is not the first trip we experience an issue with "The Ice Cream Machine ". I feel we as the consumer are always the ones that pays for: Your problems with our time, money, our sanity and you ever seek more of us. I have to give it to you Wimpy; I hope you pay the Staff at Colesberg Wimpy a huge wage because apart frim the extreme patience we had the waiter helping us was at least a kind and friendly young man...

We bought a cappucino and a latte this morning at kranskop one stop wimpy. Or I must rather say we paid for those items. We waited for more than 20 minutes and other people who came after us received their orders before we did. When our order came it was NOT what we had ordered. Neither coffees had any foam or froth or barely coffee in them. We have always enjoyed wimpy but after this we don't know if we ever want to go to another wimpy ever again. Very very disappointed.

We orded and then my son now 23moths old then kept on opening the sugar packets that was in the sugar tray so my cousin took it and hide it between my mom and her my kids went to play so she then picked it up and hide it behinde the tomotosause tray and we finished up asked for the bill i quickly went to the bathroom as i camw out a lady was cleaning up the table i paud the bill and took my kids for chips at the chips shop as we came out the manager and a staff member stopped us in the street were they a cussed my cousin of steeling the sugar tray the more we told them were she put it the more they said they saw on the camera and she did take it my mom then walked to the window and showed them were it was they just said sorry but i feel we were a cussed in the street while people were aroud us we were humiliated by them and falsely a cussed
